Chapter 1: The Wedding

A/N: The wedding takes place a week after Kagome�s twenty first birthday. She has a fight with her father in the dressing room right before the ceremony. Will Kagome say I do?
Kagome sat on the cushioned bench at the elegant marble vanity in her bridal suite at the country club that she was to be married at. She stared over at her gorgeous Vera Wang wedding dress with a bitter scowl etched upon her otherwise lovely face. fathfather had made it quite clear to her that he would not be swayed on his decision to hand her over to Inuyasha Nobunaga. Kagome was startled when her father barged into her country club suite. He was dressed in a very nice and very expensive Versace tuxedo. �Father, what are you doing here?�
�Why are you not dressed yet Kagome? Hurry up and get into your dress, Inuyasha is waiting!�
�Father I�m not going to marry Inuyasha. I can�t marry Inuyasha Nobunaga!�
�Kagome Mitsuke Higurashi, we will not discuss this matter again! You will marry Inuyasha Nobunaga or you shall be disinherited from Shikon Tech!� Kagome�s blue gray eyes grew wide at her father�s harsh words. �Now Kagome, let me help you into your dress.� She nodded and stood. Akinori Higurashi helped his daughter step into her wedding dress. The dress was exquisite with a thin line of pearls that were hand sewn decorating the bust line of the dress and the bottom of it as well. The dress was strapless and a beautiful shade of pearl white to show that Kagome was indeed still pure.
Kagome�s long raven locks were woven into a french twist with tiny springs of baby�s breath woven into her hair for decoration. She wore a simple strand of pearls around her slender neck and matching pearl earrings as well. Kagome�s veil was connected onto an elegant platinum tiara that was also embellished with pearls. Her father gently pulled the thin veil over Kagome�s face and handed her the bouquet of white and pale pink roses. She took her father�s arm reluctantly as the wedding music began to play. Kagome padded elegantly down the walkway on her father�s arm. Standing at the altar was a gorgeous man with long silvery hair and the most amazing amber eyes that Kagome had ever looked into.
Akinori handed his daughter overthe the handsome young man in the elegant black Armani tuxedo. The young man leaned over and whispered huskily in Kagome�s ear. �So you�re Kagome Higurashi huh? I�m Inuyasha Nobunaga.� His voice created butterflies in Kagome�s stomach as his warm breath caressed her ear.
The minister soon began the ceremony causing everyone in the room to fall silent. Kagome�s heart was beating so loud that it sounded as if it was drumming in her ears. Her hands began to tremble as she listened to Inuyasha recite his vows to her. Then when she felt him slip the ring on her finger she felt her knees almost buckle. Now her turn to recite the vows had come. Kagome recited her vows in a small quivering and almost inaudible voice. Then she slipped the platinum band onto Inuyasha�s finger. The minister pronounced the two joined and then announced them to the crowd as Mr. and Mrs. Inuyasha Nobunaga. Kagome held her breath as Inuyasha gently raised her veil and leaned in to kiss her. His lips brushed against hers in a tender and chaste first kiss.
Inuyasha led his new bride towards the large room where their reception was being held. Their cake was a huge eight tier cake with four large pale pink rose blooms atop the very top tier. Kagome took the time to look at her wedding ring for the first time since it had been placed on her hand. It was huge, no enormous. The diamond was at least three karats and it was a perfect colorless flawless princess cut diamond on an elegant platinum band. The newly weds cut the first piece of cake together. Many cameras flashed as Inuyasha and Kagome shared their first bite of cake. The reception was lovely and everyone was having a wonderful time. Well everyone except for Kagome Higurashi-Nobunaga that is. She had gulped down quite a few glasses of champagne, maybe six or seven but she wasn�t quite sure because she had stopped counting on glass number four.
Kagome was now on what she guessed to be glass number eight when it finally caught up with her. She carefully sat down to try and make the room stop spinning. Her handsome new husband Inuyasha strode over to where she was sitting. �Dance with me Kagome?� She shook her head. �Come on Kagome, at least pretend that you�re enjoying yourself.� Reluctantly she allowed Inuyasha to help her to her feet. Kagome laid her head on his broad shoulder as she allowed him to guide her gracefully around the dance floor. She had to admit even in her slightly drunken stupor Inuyasha was an excellent dancer. Inuyasha leaned down and began whispering against her ear in that sexy husky voice of his that already made her blood run hot. �I never imagined that you would be this beautiful Kagome.�
�You�re just saying that Inuyasha, you don�t even know me.�
�No, but I can see enough to know that you�re incredibly beautiful. Do you know where we�re going for our honeymoon Kagome?� She shook her head and her heart began to hammer rapidly in her chest at the thought of this beautiful man that was holding her laying naked over her in bed. �We�re going to spend two whole weeks at my family�s private villa in Tuscany.�
�Tuscany?�
�That�s right honey, Tuscany.� Kagome began chewing her lower lip nervously as she began to think about the fact that she would soon have to consummate her vows to Inuyasha. She felt tears sting her eyes as she rzed zed that this marriage was not just going to be an added formality in order for their companies to merge together. Inuyasha glanced down and saw two tears leak out of Kagome�s blue gray eyes. �Oh honey, what�s wrong? Kagome why are you crying?�
�It�s just that I�m scared Inuyasha.�
�Scared of what angel?� She lowered her voice greatly so that he had to strain to hear her.
�I�m still a virgin and I don�t know what is expected of me.� Inuyasha flashed a sexy grin at her.
�Darling just relax and be yourself, that�s all you have to do.� Kagome nodded and gave him a small smile. The reception was coming to an end and Kagome and Inuyasha headed toward the suite that had been reserved for them at the country club by his parents. Once in the large suite Inuyasha helped Kagome out of her dress. His golden eyes grew wide when her creamy alabaster skin was bared to him. Kagome stood before Inuyasha wearing only her pearl white strapless lace bra and matching bikini style panties with white lace garter belts. �Oh baby, you�re gorgeous!�
Kagome felt her cheeks redden under Inuyasha�s intense gaze. �Inuyasha stop it, you�re making me blush!� He chuckled and pulled his nearly naked bride against him. His nimble fingers quickly unclasped Kagome�s bra to let her large milky white breasts spill from the lacy undergarment. She yelped when his slightly cold hands cupped her now bare breasts making her nipples instantly harden. When she felt him press his bulging erection against her warm tingling center Kagome felt her thin lace panties become damp with the beginnings of her arousal. She pushed herself out of Inuyasha�s warm embrace.
�What? Kagome, what�s wrong?�
�I....I....I Can�t do this! Not yet! I�m sorry Inuyasha, I�m just not ready!� He nodded and watched as Kagome padded over to her suitcase. She opened the suitcase and pulled out a pair of cream colored silk pajamas. Kagome went into the bathroom and took a quick shower and then pulled on her silk pajamas. Inuyasha took a shower after her and came out wearing only a pair of slate gray silk boxers. He climbed into bed next to his new wife and turned on his side to look at her. �I�m sorry Inuyasha.�
�It�s alright, you were just being honest. I�m not angry with you for being honest Kagome.�
�I�m glad. So when are we going to Tusc�
