Licking
her lips nervously, she peered through the branches of the thin line of trees
she currently hid behind. It was within
sight! Her muscles tensing, awaiting her
command for action, as she grasped the straps of her backpack tighter in her
clenched fists. Heart beating
frantically she sprang into motion, darting through the trees and into the
clearing, determination shining in her eyes.

�I
can make it!�

Seeing
something out of the corner of her eye, she let out an anxious squeak and
forced her legs to move faster. It was
of no use though as she was quickly scooped up and deposited on her rear much
farther from her destination than she wanted to be. With a pout she looked up into the face of a
very perturbed hanyou that was currently looking down at her with his arms
crossed over his chest.

�Don�t
think that fucking pout will work on me, bitch!
You can�t just think you can sneak off back to your time whenever you
want to! We have shards to hunt and
Naraku to kill!� He spouted with
rehearsed precision. Kagome took a quick
glance towards the well, thinking that maybe if she subdued him- �Wench! Don�t even THINK about trying that again! You know I�ll just come and get you as soon
as the fucking spell wears off!�
Inuyasha snorted as he stood in Kagome�s line of vision.

With
a sigh, Kagome pushed herself up into a standing position ready for the usual
argument.

�Inuyasha,
we were planning on staying at Kaede�s for another couple days anyways, why
can�t I just take ONE to go visit my family?�
Using the best watery eyes, pouty lip, innocent look she could muster,
she pleaded with her friend.

�No.� He wasn�t even looking at her anymore, opting
to glare off into the distance.

Stomping
her foot childishly, she yelled at him, �You can�t tell me what to do dog
boy! I haven�t seen my family in weeks
and you want to keep me here for no good reason? I don�t think so buddy! Just try and stop me!� With one last glare in his direction, she
stepped around him, intending on getting to the well this time.

�Hey,
bitch! Don�t think you can just do
whatever you want!� Inuyasha knew he was
treading on thin ice, as always, but he was bored and he didn�t like it when
Kagome left him. She was his friend;
yeah Sango, Miroku and even the little shit Shippou were his friends too, but
Kagome was really the first to accept him completely. Inuyasha knew he could be dense sometimes,
but he wasn�t too stupid to realize that Kagome was one of a kind. He just wasn�t ready to admit anything out
loud yet.

Kagome
didn�t want to keep arguing with Inuyasha.
He was her first love and her dear friend, but she knew she couldn�t
keep letting him push her around. She
swore to stay by his side, but with the small amount of shards left to find and
the imminent threat from Naraku only brought the completion of the jewel
closer. None of them knew what would
happen to Kagome when the jewel became whole again, but Kagome had a feeling
that she would need to make a very hard choice concerning where she
belonged. With her recent discoveries,
Kagome had realized that she really knew hardly anything about the demon world,
but she was willing to learn. If only
Inuyasha would give her a reason.

Inuyasha
stopped behind Kagome as she stared at the dry well in front of her and
wondered at her sudden calm.

�Give
me a reason, Inuyasha,� she spoke quietly.
Inuyasha, of course, figured she wanted a reason not to leave and
quickly tried to come up with something.

�Duh,
wench, the shards! We can get going a
day early, get Miroku off his ass, he doesn�t need anymore of
that meditation shit and Sango�s wound is all healed from that snake demon we
got rid of the other day!� Really
stretching for something to keep Kagome with him he stammered on, �And, um, the
brat would miss you and you know how fucking annoying he is when he cries like
a baby!�

Kagome
knew that Inuyasha just wanted her to stay with him, but she was done waiting
for him. Her feelings were still there,
and they probably always would be, but she couldn�t keep holding herself back
from experiencing things that she could possibly never get to do again if
things went badly in the end with Naraku.

Turning
to face Inuyasha again, Kagome caught the hanyou off guard when she wrapped her
arms around his waist in a tight embrace.
Sputtering and blushing furiously, he returned her gesture and patted
her on the back. Speaking softly into
his haori, she said, �Please Inuyasha, just one day. I promise I�ll be back bright and early in
the morning. You can even come and get
me at dawn if you want.�

Having
Kagome in his arms and feeling her warmth even through his clothes sent shivers
of pleasure through is body. He lowered
his nose closer to her hair and took a long inhale, closing his eyes to savor
her soothing scent. Ever since last
night when he came upon her by the creek, he had been trying to pick up the
delicious spike in her scent that was present at that time. He wasn�t sure if she had known what the two
demons were doing in the forest, but he sure as hell wasn�t going to ask. Just even thinking about Kagome and that
subject sent him into a drooling and dazed state. He knew he had some things to figure out
concerning his miko, or rather, both the living one and the dead one that still
roamed the earth. Maybe it was best to
send Kagome away for a day so he could sort things out by himself. With a sigh, he stepped back and held her at
arms length.

�Ok
Kagome, just one day. I�ll get you in
the morning. But just so you know, that
pout thing isn�t going to work on me next time, wench!� With a fake scowl on his face he crossed his
arms again and waited for the smile that he knew was coming.

He
wasn�t disappointed when Kagome�s eyes lit up and she squealed a �thank you�
before quickly jumping into the well so he couldn�t change his mind. Dropping his fa�ade, Inuyasha decided to sit
next to the well and treasure Kagome�s lingering scent.

Kagome
sprinted across the courtyard and practically ran over Souta as she made her way
into the house. Startling her
grandfather out of his meditation with a quick hello, she made her way into the
kitchen where she heard her mother cleaning the breakfast dishes.

�Mom? I�m home!�
She said as she flopped her backpack down at her feet with a huff. With a hug, the older woman embraced her
daughter heartily and held back her tears.

�Kagome,
oh we�ve missed you so much!�

�Have
not!� Souta said as he entered the
kitchen to grab a drink. Kagome grinned
and stepped out of her mother�s arms to give her younger brother a bear
hug.

�Hey
squirt, you�re getting pretty big!�
Kagome complimented him as he tried to act insulted by her touching him
and squirmed out of her reach. He had
grown over the years of her shard hunting and was now about as tall as she was,
which wasn�t that impressive yet, but it still made her sad at how much she had
been missing.

She
was approaching her eighteenth birthday and she didn�t have anything to show
for it. She had kept up the �sick� act
for while, but the school had quickly decided she needed something more suited
to her needs. Her Mom had worked out a
deal with home schooling where she could do a certain number of assignments per
month along with tests at the end of each workload. She was determined to educate herself, even
if she wouldn�t end up staying in this era.

�So
sis, how long are you staying this time?
You�ve been gone for a while you know,� her brother said, acting casual
as he took a sip out of the carton of juice he held in his hand.

�Souta,
don�t drink out of the carton,� her mother scolded as she grabbed it out of his
hand and poured the liquid into a clean glass for him.

�Inuyasha
will come to get me in the morning sometime, probably early. You know how he is,� Taking the carton of
juice from her Mom, she took a large gulp, ignoring the stern look she received
and the snort from her brother.

�Yuka
called recently for you, Kags. Oh and
that Hojou guy came by again too, he�s so weird!� Souta exclaimed as he took his glass of juice
into the living room where he resumed his video game.

�That
young man is so devoted to you Kagome dear.
He really is a sweet boy. Maybe
you should give him a chance?� Her
mother smiled at her and snatched the carton back to return it to the fridge.

Sighing,
Kagome rolled her eyes and said she was going to go call Yuka. Grabbing her worn yellow backpack, she went
upstairs to unpack and use her own phone so that nosey family members couldn�t
snoop on her conversation. Picking up
her phone, she dialed the number for her friend Yuka.

�Hello?�

�Yuka? It�s Kagome!�

�Kagome?! Oh my God! I guess your Mumps went away since you�re
able to talk on the phone again huh?�
Kagome blushed and silently cursed her grandfather.

�Uh,
yeah�I�m feeling much better! I was
wondering if you wanted to go get some lunch and hang out for the day?�

�Of
course! Want to meet at WacDonalds at
eleven?� With a laugh, Kagome voiced her
agreement and they said their goodbyes.

After
putting the phone back, she looked at her clock and realized she could have
some time with her family before she met up with Yuka. Picking out a nice pair of jeans and a cute
blouse, Kagome changed quickly and skipped happily downstairs to watch her
brother play his video game. Without
even questioning his sister, Souta set up a two player game and handed her a
controller. Brother and sister played
and teased each other while their Mom watched with a smile on her face.

�I
know! I just couldn�t believe him! I told Eri that she
should just give up on the jerk if he was going to treat her like that!�

Kagome
was enjoying her time with Yuka immensely as they chatted about boys, the high
school Yuka was attending and of course the conversation turned to Kagome�s
�two-timing boyfriend�.

�So,
Kagome,� Yuka leaned across the small table they were sharing and looked her
friend in the eye, �you aren�t still holding out for this guy are you?�

Always
surprised by her friend�s boldness, Kagome almost choked on the bite of burger
she had just tried to swallow. Soothing
her throat with a sip of her soda, Kagome prepared herself for the conversation
she knew she was getting herself into.

�Well
Yuka, that�s the thing�� she started.

�Oh
my God, have you guys already done it?!� Yuka exclaimed loudly as several of
the restaurants other patrons turned their heads towards the two girls. Laughing nervously, Kagome kicked Yuka under
the table and shushed her with a fierce look.

�Ouch! Kags, what�s up?� Yuka pressed, lowering her voice as she noticed
Kagome had taken on a serious expression.

�That�s
kind of what I needed to talk to you about.
Now, don�t interrupt me for a second!�
With a confirmation nod from her friend, Kagome continued, �The other
night, I accidentally stumbled upon two people that were, well, you know-� With
a couple hand motions and a strong blush rising on her cheeks, Kagome tried to
spit out the words.

�They
were screwing?� Yuka questioned nonchalantly.
Kagome seemed to almost turn purple at Yuka�s choice of words, but she
thought to herself, �Well, if I think I�m ready to do it, then I can at least
try and say it!�

�Yes,
they were having sex. And no, Inuyasha
and I haven�t done it. At least not
yet�� With the wide eyed look Yuka was giving her, Kagome giggled and shushed
her friend again before continuing.

Almost
whispering now, Kagome leaned closer to Yuka, �So I watched them for a while
and I realized that I�m missing out, you know?�
At the other girl�s nod, she went on, �And so that�s why I needed to
talk to you. I want you to tell me what
I need to know to be ready for, well, for doing things with guys. Everything!�
Feeling more confident now that she had all of that out in the open,
Kagome smiled and sat back in her seat.

A
slow smile spread across Yuka�s face and she grabbed Kagome�s hand, dumping
their trash as she led her friend outside.

�Alright
Kagome, let�s get started!� Yuka promptly set out a course of shops to stop at,
and with a grimace, Kagome wondered if she knew what she was getting herself
into.

Hours
and many shops later, Kagome hefted her shopping bags onto her bed with a
groan. Thankfully her grandfather said
that her Mom had taken Souta to the grocery store with her, giving her enough
time to put away the new goodies she bought out with Yuka.

�Ha,
yeah, would be great to try and explain these,� she thought as she held in one
hand a couple pairs of thongs and in the other hand the matching bra sets. With a blush, she sifted through another bag,
�Well, it�s better than trying to explain this!�

She
held in her hand an eight inch long gyrating dildo. It was purple.

Gulping,
Kagome reasoned with herself, �Yuka said that before I go on the prowl for guys
I need to know how to pleasure myself. It
really can�t be that hard, can it?�

finished storing away her new items, some in her traveling bag and some hidden

anymore. Looking at her clock and seeing

Hurrying
to the bathroom, Kagome made sure the door was locked securely and even put the
radio on that she kept on the sink top while she let the tub fill. She really didn�t want anyone hearing
anything, if there was anything to hear.
Yuka had told her that some girls are very vocal, some are not and then
she said some strange things about squirting.
Kagome shook her head, she had no idea what Yuka was talking about, she
had started rambling on and on during their whole shopping trip and Kagome was
too embarrassed to stop her and ask questions.
Good thing she got herself a book to consult, even though Yuka had told
her she was glad to answer any of Kagome�s questions.

Checking
the temperature of her bath water, she shut off the tap and decided it was now
or never. Standing in front of her
bathroom mirror, she took off her clothes and inspected herself. She had to admit, traveling around in the
feudal era had really helped her tone her body.
She still wasn�t Sango, but she thought she was still pretty enough.

�My
hips are kind of wide set and my tummy isn�t really flat, but at least I think
my boobs are nice and perky. I
think�� Poking herself and turning at odd
angles, Kagome decided she was being silly and decided to get into the cooling
bath water. After settling herself in
the warm tub, she picked up her new toy that she set by the bath and looked
closely at it. The box it came in said
it was sculpted to look real, she assumed they just meant the shape and not the
color, because something that purple would be too creepy to let touch her. Setting that thought aside, she twisted the
knob at the bottom of the shaft where she had discovered batteries were supposed

�Oh
boy�� With a deep breath she twisted the
knob back and shut it off for the time being.
Setting it on the ledge of the bathtub, Kagome relaxed and thought she

spilling from her lips, and before she realized it, she was thrown into
oblivion. Whatever was inside her
snapped and she felt her body almost lift out of the bath water as it jerked
violently. Guttural moans filled the
bathroom along with the whirring noise of her toy as Kagome thrashed in the
bathtub, spilling water onto the tiled floor.

twisted the knob back to shut it off.
