Chapter Two-

The End Of Everything?

Like a shockwave it hit him, all the sudden it was as if he couldn�t even
breathe! Faster than he�d ever run before he�d made it to the well within
seconds, he knew it was Kagome and he knew there was something wrong, it was
crushing his heart and all he could do was go to her! �Kagome I�m coming
hold on� he said to himself as he leaped into the well� When he hit the
bottom he was a little shocked he�d made it there so quickly, then he noticed
that he was surrounded by bones and he let out the most terrifying and mournful
howl that�d ever reached the world!

�KAGOME!!! DAMNIT YOU WENCH! How the FUCK could you do
this to me, you�ve returned to your own time and wished on the jewel haven�t
you!! Should have known, how could you ever love me anyways I�m nothing but a
HANYOU!� Inuyasha�s heart was breaking, never in his life had he felt such a
pain, it had him frozen in place so that he couldn�t even move.

�INUYASHA! Inuyasha what is it, where are you?!� yelled
out Miroku who was running in the direction of the painful cry followed closely
by the rest of the gang. They reached the well and could hear the sobbing within
it, could it be� no it couldn�t be!

Inuyasha didn�t know if he could even speak, he could
feel the demon in him trying to take over his body and he knew that would help
ease his pain but even the demon in him loved Kagome with all it�s heart�
there was no escape and all he wanted was to be someone else, no all he wanted
was to still be back on that tree� sealed for all time. But was that really
it? No, all he wanted was her.

�I�m here munk�, Inuyasha managed to choke out.
�She�s gone, she had to of wished on the jewel in her own time and now
she�s gone, the wench.�

�No, Inuyasha that can�t be!� They all screamed at
once, �She�d never leave you don�t be a fool, she loved you with all her
heart, something must have happened!� Sango exclaimed.

�What does it matter now?!
She�s GONE Songo, she�s 500 years in the future and we�ll never see her
again! Not even I can reach her now.� And with that he pulled himself back
together and hopped out of the well.

Everyone around him was sobbing,
everyone at a loss for words and feeling such pain for not only themselves but
for the broken hearted hanyou and the miko they knew was dying inside wherever
she was. What they didn�t expect was what happened next�

�I�ll wait for her, that�s
all I can do� I�ll go on living without her for now because I know it�s
what she would want, and If I don�t get the chance to tell her how much I love
her I WILL do her that one justice!� Inuyasha declared with his head lowered,
bangs covering his dying eyes, �I need to be alone for a while, I�m sorry
guys.� With that he took off to find a place where he could be alone with his
feelings.
That day, two miserably long months ago, her mother had
held her all day and night trying to calm the sobs that wouldn�t cease.
She�d lost him, lost him forever� all because she wanted to return home to
bathe and catch a night�s rest before revealing her true feelings to him, she
couldn�t forgive herself. She could have stayed, if she had she�d still have him, it
wasn�t as if they�d broken up� he was stolen from her, he was 500 years in
the past and she knew he probably hated her!

She�d barely been able to leave her room for the last two
months, she�d fallen apart� all she could do was sit there with a tight
grasp upon the jewel that�d given her everything then taken it all away. �Was
this what it wanted? Did it want the battle to continue on within me?�
Even with her fragile state she could still feel the powers of youkai, which had
obviously remained hidden, start to creep towards her� it was calling to them
and they were edging ever closer with the rise of each day and fall of each
night.

She knew that to save her family and her time from great
evil she needed to wish upon the jewel, but how could she do that?! �How
Kami can I give up the one thing that might one day open up the well again�
the ONE thing that can bring him back to me?!� How was she supposed to
make a self-less wish when all she could think of was how much she needed him to
feel complete, even her Miko soul might not be able to vanquish it�s power
from the world.

She�d fallen asleep again, it was almost as if she�d
gone into a coma since that day in the well, but she didn�t care because in
her dreams he was there with her. She never wanted to wake up and stop gazing
into those deep amber eyes, never wanted to stop running her fingers through
that beautiful silver hair that made him so different from anyone she�d ever
seen herself with� not to mention those adorable puppy ears she couldn�t
keep her hands off. In her dreams she loved him and he loved her and even if it
wasn�t reality it�s what kept her hanging on for now.

When she awoke she could feel his arms holding her tight as
they slept and she reached out for him� but he wasn�t there, �he
isn�t there!!!� she turned her head into the pillow that was already
stained from the never ending tears as she felt her heart break all over again.

After
she�d calmed her self a bit and nursed her wounded heart she rolled out of
bed, not even bothering to look at the clock since it was dark outside and she
was already pissed enough that she�d slept through yet another day. She headed
down the stairs still in a fog from her emotions when she came upon her family
sitting in the living room gathered around the TV� that�s when it hit her
like a tsunami, the youkai auras threatened to drown her with their intensity
and she gasped for air!

I felt that I needed to get this chapter posted quickly... again I'd greatly appreciate
feedback and as I hear your thoughts I'll get that third chapter to you!!
