Chapter 2 - Spark
�Damn, damn, damn, DAMN, DAMN��.� He just couldn�t fucking take it anymore! It had been a week since their run in the woods, and Inuyasha was running out of ways to distract Kagome from her damn �diary� thing. (He had gotten a chance to read the cover of the book, but didn�t dare look inside)

After defeating Naraku, Inuyasha was at a total loss about what to do with his time. Sure, there was the occasional demon to slay, and his friends to talk to, but somehow�.it just wasn�t enough to keep his mind occupied. Suddenly, Inuyasha was jarred out of this thoughts by a loud �SLAP� followed by Songo yelling, �Miroku! You pervert!� Inuyasha looked over in time to see Miroku looking at Sango with that infamous look of feigned innocence as he said, �You misunderstand my intent, beautiful Sango, for I only meant to remove a bug from your clothing.� Songo glared at the hentai monk and stalked away, as Miroku gazed after her retreating form with a little grin on his face.

Inuyasha looked at Miroku with a disgusted expression on his face, and said, �Ya know, if I didn�t know better, I would think that you actually enjoy it when she does that.� Miroku started chuckling as he turned and walked away. Inuyasha mumbled under his breath, �Fucking freak.� Which only made Miroku start laughing harder. Inuyasha rolled his eyes and headed towards the well to wait for Kagome.

Back in her own time, Kagome was walking home from school. The day had been so stressful� and confusing. She had spent practically all night studying, and was exhausted. When she got up that morning and tried to get home in time to go to school and take her tests, Inuyasha had bolted in front of her and blocked her entrance to the well.

-------Flashback-------
�Inuyasha! I have to go to school! You�re going to make me late!�

�Keh! Like I care, sneaky wench. I decide when you go, and you didn�t ask my permission.�

�W-W-WHAT! How dare you! You Baka�you�.YOU�� Kagome exclaimed, her face growing redder, and redder as her rage escalated. �I DO NOT NEED YOUR PERMISSION TO DO ANYTHING, YOU JERK!� she bellowed as she tried to push him out of the way.
Inuyasha stubbornly refused to move away from the well, as Kagome shoved at him in a vain attempt to move him out of the way. Inwardly, he was grinning, she was just so cute when she was mad.

�MOVE!�
�No.�
�MOVE!!!!�
�No.�
�AAAAAGGGGHHHHH!! Inuyasha!�
At that moment, Inuyasha knew that he had pushed it too far. Oh, yes. He knew what was coming. He could just tell by the tone of her voice� he had about three seconds before his head was going to slam into the dirt. So, in a flash of pure instinct, he grabbed Kagome�s arms, pulled her face up to his, and kissed her just as she opened her mouth to yell �SIT�. Kagome�s eyes widened in shock as his tongue entered her mouth and his arms wrapped around her waist as he silently stole away her breath.

After what seemed like an eternity, he pulled away and looked down at her with a soft glint in his eyes, and a little smile on his lips.

�Ok, you have my permission.

Then, without a backwards glance he took off running into the woods, leaving behind a very confused and flustered Kagome.
