It was too late in the day to head out so they headed back to Kaede’s house to make plans. When they got to Kaede’s, Kagome found Rin sitting by the fire, asking her why she was not with Sesshomaru. Rin replied, Sesshomaru told her that she needed to know how to live with own kind, and would return when she was an adult to see if she wanted to travel with him again Rin also said, “her Lord Sesshomaru comes to visit her 2 or 3 times a month and he is due for a visit soon.” After talking to Rin everyone decided it was time to discuss what Midoriko had said and decide on what to do next.
Miroku and Sango worried about their three kids not wanting to leave them behind, but not wanting to take them either. Then Rin said she would go to help with the kids, with that said it was decided to take the kids along. InuYasha sighed and asked, “Kagome what type of meat do you want to eat tonight?” Kagome put a finger to her lips in thought, and said she wanted boar or rabbit. InuYasha didn’t hear what she said he was too busy day dreaming about what those lips could be doing to him. Kagome all but had to “SIT” him to make him hear her.
InuYasha blushed as red as his robes of the fire rat if not a shade darker then, he stuttered out “ok”, and headed out to get Kagome her rabbits from the nearby fields, wishing he could not smell the sweet scent of Kagome’s heat. The scent was of a field of wild strawberries just after a thunderstorm, with a bit of spice added. It was making it hard for him to think, he could not remember it being this hard for him during the shard hunt before. Praying it would pass soon, if not he would need to find time to speak with her alone about becoming his mate, and having his pups. Thinking this made him so hard it hurt.
He went to find a spot to be alone. It hurt his pride to do what he was thinking about doing, but he could not return with a hard-on so he set in his chosen tree and untied his hakama’s and grabbed his rock hard cock in his right hand and started to stroke it. It started to feeling so good je griped it harder, moving faster closing his eyes imagining it was Kagome working on his cock. Upon his return he handed Kagome the rabbits to start cooking. Miroku asked, “when are we going to leave to head west and look for the jewel” InuYasha replied by saying, “dawn at the earliest after breakfast at the latest.”

Miroku waited till he was sure InuYasha was out of his hearing range to ask, “Kagome do you want to be InuYasha’s mate?” blushing bright red she nodded and said, “I came back to be his mate that’s all I thought about these last three years now that I’m finished with school and an adult by the stranded’s of my birth era, I’m able to leave my mother’s house and not cause problems for her. That’s when the well opened for me; my mom knew I was not happy there in the future.”
Kagome took a deep breath then blushed and asked, “Miroku is there any way you could help me get InuYasha alone before we leave?” kaede spoke for the first time since the arrival of the young miko saying, “ Why not go take ye a bath after we eat, and then I can say ye left your towel. By the time I say this Sango and Miroku would have headed home leaving only me because Sango will ask Rin to come help with the kids so she can pack for the trip. I can’t see in the dark anymore and InuYasha knows this.” Paused then asked, “What ye think child?”
Kagome thought about it for a few minutes before saying, “yes, that should work nicely if everything goes good we should be back as mates in the morning.” Blushing so red she almost matched the robes of the fire-rat. Sensing InuYasha’s return she tried to get her blush to go away before he got there. She was happy to see that he remembered to clean the rabbits before giving them to her to cook.
She was putting the rabbits on the fire when she heard Miroku ask about what time they would be leaving. Hopeful that there plan worked and she got InuYasha alone tonight.
