I’m A Half-Demon!

Bankotsu’s blue eyes seemed to burn right into her soul as the boy with long black hair in a braid appeared before Kagome. He stared down at the half-demon before him that was currently on the ground staring at him in shock. ‘Who is she? She seems familiar somehow.’ “What is your name, half-demon?” He asked curiously, but with a threatening tone, wanting to know who this half-demon was. Normally he wouldn’t care and would’ve killed her, but she looked familiar and didn’t know why. ‘Why does she look like someone I knew?’

The now half-demon, Kagome stood up and looked right into his eyes, not removing her gaze from him for an instant. She didn’t say anything, because she was shocked that he was even alive again. ‘Didn’t Inuyasha kill him?’ Kagome’s eyes saddened as she thought about what happened to her earlier today. ‘Inuyasha’

“Answer me, wench. Who are you?” When she didn’t answer him, he attempted to grab her throat, but she ducked, dodging his attack. She rose up and punched him square in the jaw, almost dislocating it. He placed a hand on his jaw as the pain hit him.

“You better not attack me again or you’ll get worse than just a punch to the face” She said, she wasn’t in the mood for games right now and the expression on her face clearly showed that.

He took his hand off his jaw and pointed his huge halberd, Banryu at her and threatened. “Do that again and I will lop your head off.” He said, angrily glaring at her.

She glared at him too, and decided to answer his first question. “I’m Kagome.”

“I remember now. You’re Inuyasha’s wench!” It just dawned on him that she was the same human girl who traveled with Inuyasha. ‘Although her skimpy outfit seems to almost be in shreds.’ His gaze followed her entire body.

She noticed that and said “Pervert! I was never his to begin with and I advise you to call me by my proper name instead of that horrid nickname. It’s Kagome. K-A-G-O-M-E, Kagome! If you don’t call me by that, I won’t answer to anything you say” She was seriously ticked off.

“Do you even know who you are talking to?” He asked. ‘Why doesn’t she fear me? Most people would be running away in fear by now.’

“Yeah, I know who you are. You’re Bankotsu, leader of the Band of Seven.” She said, not caring who she was with. She just wanted all of this sadness and pain in her heart to go away. Her hand unconsciously went to her neck where her necklace was supposed to be, only to find it gone. ‘W-where is it?!’ She looked frantic as she wondered where her favorite diamond shaped necklace went. Then she remembered, Inuyasha had taken it right after he raped her. Her eyes seemed to burn with fire along with her anger. “THAT SON OF A BITCH!!!!!” She yelled out.

He wondered why she screamed all of a sudden. He lowered, Banryu, planting it into the ground and asked. “Why are you screaming?”

“It’s that bastard, Inuyasha’s fault! He took the necklace that my father gave to me right before he died!” She looked furious.

“I see”

“Not only that, but he destroyed the only thing I could go home to.” She paced back and forth in anger. This action annoyed him, so he walked up to her, grabbed her shoulder, and turned her around to face him.

“Stop that” He ordered

She nodded her head as she kept still, but anger kept flowing through her veins.

Even though she was the enemy, he still wanted her to stay calm. “Try to calm down, Kagome.” He said, trying to calm her down. “Just take slow, deep breaths”

She did as she was told and that seemed to calm her down enough so that she didn’t look like she was about to murder someone any second now. She then took in all of his features. From his hair to his face and finally towards his lower region. She blushed furiously as she accidentally said something embarrassing which she meant to just think. She said, “H-h-h-he’s hot! Bankotsu is hot as hell”

“So you think I’m hot, huh?”

“Did I just say that out loud?”

“Yes, and I wouldn’t mind having some fun with…” He didn’t finish his sentence because he saw the claw marks on her left side and that blood was flowing through where her rib cage was located at. ‘Who did that to her? I’m going to kill the one responsible’ He thought. ‘Wait! Why am I acting like this? I hardly know her’ “Who did this to you?”

“Did what?” she asked, not knowing what he was talking about. She saw his gaze was on her left side. She looked down at it and remembered the events that happened a few hours ago. The pain from that attack still hadn’t lessened. She started tearing up as she remembered it. She didn’t know why, but she just ran and buried her head in his chest, clenching the top of his haori, and cried.

“W-why did this have to happen?” She said as she continued to cry. “I-I didn’t d-deserve this. I did nothing to deserve this. H-he just-” She didn’t get to finish her sentence, because of the searing pain in her chest. ‘What’s going on with me? Why am I in pain like this?’ She then thought back to what Inuyasha said right before he left. “One more thing, I will feel it when you go to another man. If you do there will be consequences and you’ll have no choice, but to go back to me. Until next time, Kikyou”

Bankotsu saw her clench the area where her chest was located. “What’s wrong with your chest? Does it hurt?” He saw her give him a look that said ‘What do you fucking think?’ She was practically writhing in agony.

‘Does this mean that if I fall for another man or begin to fall in love, my chest will hurt and I’ll have no choice but to go back to Inuyasha to make this pain go away.’

If just being near Bankotsu was agonizing, it just became ten times worse when he picked her up and laid her on the ground. She refused to give into this pain though. She stopped clenching her chest and clenched her fists instead. She bit her lip with her fangs as she stood up thus making her bottom lip bleed. That pain was nothing compared to the pain she was in now. “I-I’m not going to let him control me. I’m n-not going back to him” She said stubbornly trying to get rid of the pain or at least ignore it. However, that didn’t stop the memories of earlier coming back to her or the tears falling down her face.

He wondered what exactly happened to her. He didn’t worry too much about that though, right now he had to comfort the woman in front of him. He put a hand on her head, right on her new dog ears. That action made her look up at him in confusion.

“H-huh?” She said in confusion. He looked at her and saw that she wasn’t crying anymore, but her eyes were red and puffy.

‘At least she stopped crying’ “We need to treat your wounds now or you’ll die from blood loss”

She felt the sticky substance called blood leaking out from her. She nodded her head weakly. ‘When Bankotsu touched my head, I felt some strange pressure up there. I wonder what that was.’ Her hands went to where her head is and felt something furry. It was two ears, dog ears to be exact. She then touched her teeth with her tongue, feeling that she now had fangs. She looked at her hands and saw that they’ve turned into claws.

“What the fuck?! I’M A HALF-DEMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

‘So she’s trying to resist. She’s a stubborn one, that’s for sure, but that’s what I like about her. We mated and that means that whenever she begins to fall in love with another male, she’ll feel agonizing pain. I won’t feel anything though, and as I said before, to her, there will be consequences’ He looked at his claws and saw that her blood was off of them. ‘Good thing I washed my hands in the river. Miroku, Sango, and Shippou would be asking about the blood and with Shippou’s sharp sense of smell he would immediately tell that it was Kagomes my mate. I don’t know why I called her Kikyou though. Eh, who cares’

“Ye come down from that tree Inuyasha, and eat dinner with all of us” Kaede said.

He broke his hold on Kagome’s soul. ‘I’ll stop the pain for tonight. I can’t have my love in pain constantly, but if I feel that another man has actually come into her heart. I’ll crush him’ He almost got his hold back on Kagome’s soul, but stopped. ‘I guess getting angry won’t help our relationship’

“Keh. Alright, alright. I’m coming down. Just shut your trap already” He leapt out of the tree that he was in and onto the ground below.

Everyone was waiting for Kagome to arrive. They all knew she was bitter at Inuyasha for destroying the well, but they didn’t know what else went on until Inuyasha told them.

“Kagome won’t be coming back for a while” He said.

“What happened to my mom, Inuyasha?!”

“Nothing.” He crossed his arms and looked away from the little demon fox. ‘How childish of me. To think that my half-demon side does stuff like this’

“Did she catch you with Kikyou again?” Sango asked.

“What’s it to you if she did” He answered.

“Would you mind telling us the details on what happened between Kikyou and you” Miroku said lecherously.

“Pervert” Sango hit him on the head with the end of her giant boomerang weapon, the Hiraikotsu.

Miroku rubbed his head “Sango, why?”

“You were being a pervert” Her gaze fixed on Inuyasha’s face and looked into his eyes and said seriously. “Where is Kagome, Inuyasha.”

“I’m telling you, I don’t know!” He started yelling then stopped. “She ran off while I and Kikyou were in the middle of having sex” He lied.

“YOU WHAT??!!!” The group yelled out except Miroku and Kaede who were eating their stew calmly. They knew eventually that this would happen.

“How could you do this to Kagome? To my mother” Shippou wailed as he began hitting Inuyasha with his tiny fists. Inuyasha, then picked Shippou up by his tail as he continued to cry. “M-MOMMY!!!!”

“Shut the hell up, you runt!” He hit Shippou on the head a few times and let him go. Shippou ran into the hut to cry.

“I’ll go comfort Shippou. The rest of you can do whatever you want. As for you Inuyasha, don’t think we won’t forget this. First, you destroy the portal to her home and here and now you had to go fuck with that clay potted bitch. No wonder she left us, Inuyasha.” Sango said and walked into Kaede’s hut.

“Inuyasha that wasn’t very nice of you. All of of knew she loved you or maybe she still does love you. Only Buddha knows.” Miroku said as he got up from the ground that he was sitting on. He went over towards the silver-haired half-demon and placed his foot on his head and beat him with his staff. He wasn't exactly pleased with Inuyasha at the moment. "You just had to screw everything up. Kagome was our best friend, she was like family to us and you had to screw it all up by fucking that undead bitch." When he was done scolding him, he took his staff off of him along with his foot which was on the other male's head.

"HEY! DON'T CALL KIYOU A BITCH!!! I know she's dead, but once I get the jewel whole again I'll, BRING HER BACK TO LIFE!!!!" He yelled out.

“Yes, ye should think of Kagome’s feelings too, Inuyasha. We all knew she cared about ye and ye probably knew it too” Kaede said.

“Yes, it’s unfortunate for Kagome to not be here” Miroku said eyeing Inuyasha very carefully. 'Something is odd. I sense pure demonic aura coming from him instead of his usual one that is mixed with human and demonic aura. Could he be lying to us all about Kagome and is this really Inuyasha.' He looked at the aura again and saw pure darkness around him, except for a tiny speck of white. 'It seems he's being controlled by his demonic side. However, when his demonic side is a pure blood-lusted monster that doesn't recognize anything and just kills. I've witnessed it myself many times and so has the others. It seems that his demonic side had gained a conscience. Although, could this really be Inuyasha. Hmm, I'll just wait and see'

“Keh, whatever.” Inuyasha said and leapt up into the tree.

A/N: So how did you all like my second chapter. Pretty amazing, huh. I hope I got them both in character. It’s been quite a while since I’ve written anything about Inuyasha. Actually this is only my second Inuyasha fanfiction. The first was just a lemon about my OC, Ashley and Bankotsu going at it. If ya know what I mean ;) So, please tell me if I got them in character enough. I hate for the canon characters to be OOC, but if they are, that’s also okay. Since I don’t want to change what I already have written down. So please comment telling me what you think of this story. Polite criticism is welcome as well as long as you don’t go overboard with it and tell me things like “This story sucks!” “Make it better!”, and “I hate this pairing!” Things like that really hurt my feelings. Also by polite criticism, I mean tell me what I have to do to improve my writing. So again please leave a comment.
