Yes, it's that time again, time for another author's note! *Hears the groaning from the audience and her aura sparks impressively, sending waves of angry energy out into the audience. When all is quiet, she continues.* Apparantly, some people don't quite get it. Flames are not welcome in my house! Constructive criticism, yes, I like. Arguments for people's points of view, I love. But to tell me an interpretation of my story which insults the author and not justify it? THAT is unforgiveable.

The main problem of the e-mails and reviews I'm getting where people don't like my work seems to be this : readers are superimposioderodern (mostly american) beliefs onto a culture from another country, 500 years in the past. Practices, customs, beliefs; they were all different and to simply say "well thats just wrong" based off of your modern life experiences is ludicrous, and shows how little thought you put into reading my work. Has anyone out there read any of jeffs fics? Particularly "Spring Fertility Festival"? Here is an EXCELLENT example of modern beliefs and practices vs ancient ones.

Now as for Inu Yasha marrying Sango.. this is NOT, I repeat NOT simply because Kagome is pregnant. That part was actually not IN my origional layout for the story, but something I threw in to make it more angsty and deal with more social issues. Yes, my story is really a means to discuss certian issues in real life without turning into an after-school special. Deal with it. For Kagome, it may be an issue of cheating and betrayl of loyalty, but to Inu, this is an issue of duty vs. love. Many people, particularly peole of noble descent are forced to do things they really don't WANT to because of who they are.This story touches upon the real life themes of love vs. lust, rape, trust, duty, and cheating. Real life isn't always pretty, and the stories that reflect real life aren't always pretty either.

Know that I am not condoning cheating either. From a modern standpoint in the context of my culture and personal preferences, I would not tolerate it. Every man I've ever dated has cheated on me when we agreed at the start of the relationship we would only date each other, and that I was waiting for marriage before I had sex. And to this day, every one of my ex boyfriends is still afraid I'll chase them down with a pair of gelding shears. But mine is a standpoint based off of personal experience and modern beliefs. I do not try and analyze cultures where more than one wife is co bas based off of those experiences.

AS for my FAVORITE comments *cackles evilly and rubs her hands together* " I cannot like your subject." Well, that's just fine and dandy. Everyone is entitled to their own likes and dislikes. However, if ya don't like it, DON'T FREAKING READ IT! I'm in no way forcing anyone to read my fiction. And it's not just you noko, i've gotten this from other readers too, so don't feel too picked on. There will be other unrelated stories that I write AFTER Noble House is completed for you to enjoy, provided I still wish to share my work with the public. As for the the 'Inu is lying and cheating part all because Kag is pregnant' bit, obviously you haevn't been paying enough attention to the plot to know what's really going on, and that's just sad.

In closing; Flamer's beware, the Cliffy Queen and Purveyor of Quality Smut shall henceforth send her loyal servant Yura-yasha out into cyberspace to emegre from your screen and releive you of your hair as a trophy or war! I am NOT above public rebuttals and politely telling flamers off in a public setting, and TRUST me, this was polite. Faychan and Tsuki can attest to how wicked I can really be. I am glad at least SOME people are enjoying my fic (patrice, you have no idea of how flattering that actually was, TLC get outta my head lol, and Ickabod, thank you as always for your wonderful words. Tom, thank you for your continued support, Atropa thank you as well for continuing to read, and t, *blush* thank you ever so much, I'm rather proud of it.)
