Cocktail Mix XX

Hanikamiya, Rin was
stuffing old files into the archive in the basement of Maru Inc. She had been
working at the company for a couple of years now, but she had yet to feel
comfortable around all the people there. She was shy, it was almost sickly, but
she had always been like that. She talked to a couple of the girls that was
working within the walls of Maru Inc., one was Ayame and the other one was
Sango. They were good girls, never pushing her, but always asking her politely
if Rin wanted to come with them if they were going somewhere special after work.
Today had not been an exception; they had asked Rin if she wanted to come with
them to the mall. But she had declined; instead she decided to work late. She
wanted to have some time off later on.

Rin looked up as she took
the next pile of papers. Outside a storm was brewing, she could hear the thunder
in the distant. She shuddered a bit and was glad that she had decided to stay at
work. She didn�t want to rush around between stores down town if the rain began
to pour down. She smiled and walked down to the basement with the papers and
began the excruciating work to file them under their right name and place. She
hummed a song she had learned from her mother once to keep the dark shadows
away. She would never admit it to anybody, but she found the basement rather
spooky. But she needed the time off, and she had to work hard to get it. But as
she filed the last piece of papers the lights frizzled and then everything
became dark as the pits of hell. Rin felt her heart stop in her chest for a
second before a small scream escaped over her lips.

Then she swallowed hard
and closed her eyes. She took a few deep breaths and gathered her thoughts
together. �Now, now� there is no need to panic. It�s just the storm that has
cut off the electricity. Nothing else. There is nothing to be afraid of. You
just have to find your way over to the stairs, and you can go up to the
coffee-room. They have candles there�� she talked in her mind as she very
slowly worked her way through the pitch black basement. �Ok, here�s the
stairs. Now I just have to work my way through the office and then through some
corridors and then I�m at the cafeteria.� Her mental voice guided her as she
tried to feel her way up the stairs.

Once Rin had reached the
top of the stairs she leaned against the wall. She took deep breaths and looked
around, but it was almost just as black in the office area as it had been in the
basement. She put her hands out in front of her and she walked very slowly, her
memory guiding her movements. �You doing alright girl.
There is nothing to be afraid of. There is nobody here but you. Nothing is going
to happen. Just get to the damn coffee-room and you will be just fine.�

When she felt the sign
for the cafeteria she took yet another deep breathe, she had made it. She opened
the door and went inside. She felt through the drawers and lockers and was
relieved when she found matches and candles. She lit two candles and put them on
the kitchen counter. She looked around a bit and then she lit a few more candles
and placed them around in the room. As the last candle was lit she saw that her
hands were shaking and she walked over to the sink and turned on the water. With
the same shaking hands, Rin splashed water in her face, willing her body to calm
down a bit. But it was hard.

In another part of the
building a man was struggling with the darkness as well.
Heizen, Touya was too
working late in order to gain some days off in the end of the year. He had been
trying to get his computer in order, when the storm hit the town with full
force. He growled as his screen darkened just as the rest of the house.

-

Fuck, fuck, fuck!! he cursed and slammed his fist down onto
his desk and got up.
He but as he looked
around he had to realize � he was blind as a bat. He couldn�t see a fucking
thing. He snarled and put his hands out in front of him, and tried to work his
way out from his office area. A small memory made it self know, telling him that
there should be candles in the coffee-room. All he had to do was getting there.
Easier said than done when everything was in total darkness. He stopped as he
saw a flickering light come from the glass-door that led to the cafeteria.
�I�m not alone?� He felt his stomach flutter a bit. He walked silently over
to the door and peered his head to take a sneak peak. He recognized the girl as
one of them from the other part of Maru Inc. But he didn�t know her name. But he
had caught a glance of her from time to time. She never said anything, she
smiled and used her head to answer most of the questions she was asked. A shy
girl, just as he too was a bit reluctant to mingle with the people at the
company.

Touya opened the door and
walked into the coffee-room. He wasn�t prepare for the high-pitched scream that
the girl released, almost hurting his ears.

-

Shh, stop it girl, I�m not going to hurt you!! he hissed and
put his hands over his ears to protect them against the high sound.
Rin stopped her screaming
and looked at the man. The candle light made his hair look like it was made out
of fire. The red headed young man was one of the workers of Maru Inc. She had
seen him quite a lot, but she never heard his voice.

S-sorry, she whispered and looked away, blushing.

Its ok, I was just as startled. I thought I was alone here
tonight, he said.
Rin could feel a shiver
course through her spine as his dark and calm voice rippled through the air. It
was something about him that made her want to do naughty things. �Oh dear
Lord. What the hell am I thinking?� thought Rin and blushed darkly and moved
to search the refrigerator for something to eat. Chocolate perhaps, chocolate
was good, nearly a girl�s best friend in times of need. And praise the Lord,
several chocolate bars lay there on the top shelf. She picked them out and gave
one to the man that still was looking at her intensely.

What? she asked and felt another dark blush cover her face.

What�s your name? asked Touya.

-

Hanikamiya, Rin.

-

I am Heizen, Touya. Nice to meet you Rin-san, said Touya and
bowed to her lightly.

-

Nice to meet you too Heizen-sama, answered Rin and showed
equally amount of respect to the red headed man in front of her. He took the
chocolate bar and she turned around and almost devoured the sweet treat. She was
nervous.
And by all means, who
wouldn�t be nervous? She was inside a dark building, no other people was there
except for them. A man and a woman, in a dark building. �I�m panicking now�
yes, that�s it� PANIC!!� her mind screamed and her heart began to race in
her chest. Her breathing became shallow and she managed to choke on a piece of
chocolate. �Oh no�!� she coughed and coughed, but the piece was stuck in
her throat. A morbid though crossed her mind. She was going to die because she
had a sweet tooth. �What a way to go Rin-chan�� tears formed in her eyes
but before she passed out she felt a strong pair of arms encircle her waist and
she closed her eyes. A pressure was put on her middle section and then�
�AIR!�

Touya thought he would
have a dead girl on his hand, but at the last second his logic mind came back
and he rushed forward and put his arms around her and put pressure on her solar
plexus. With a gulp he heard the choking piece slide down through her throat and
she gasped for air. Then she went limp in his arms and he gently picked her up
and brought her to sit down on one of the chairs.

Once he had made sure that she would not pass out, he poured some water into a
glass and handed it to her. She nodded and took it. She sipped it and then put
it away. She took a few deep breaths and then looked at him.

T-thank you Heizen-sama, whispered Rin with a hoarse voice.
He just nodded and sat
down next to her and took her hands into his. His thumbs were stroking the upper
side of her hands and he marvelled at the softness he felt. He saw tears still
flowing down her cheeks and let go of her hands to wipe the tears away. He
couldn�t bare to see women cry.

Feeling better Rin-san? he asked and was pleased to see that
she nodded. But he could feel the aftershocks of her horrid experience still
coursing through her body.
He smiled gently and
nudged her to drink some more water.

-

It will make you feel better, said Touya.

-

Thank you, said Rin and gulped down some more water, letting
the cold liquid soothe her raw throat. � Do you think we will be out of power
for much longer?

I don�t know Rin-san, but the storm seems to be roaring
outside. It might be awhile longer. Why are you here Rin-san?

-

I was filing, wanted to make sure that I got some extra days
for my vacation, said Rin truthfully.

-

Filing? Where?

-

In the basement.

-

You were in the basement when the lights went away? Touya
could barely hide the worry in his otherwise rather emotionless voice. � You
could have been hurt!!

-

Heizen-sama, I�m a big girl, I can take care of my self, she
said and looked away. His eyes were shimmering with something she didn�t dare to
put a name on.
Touya rose to his feet
again and began pacing around in the candle lit room. Just the thought of Rin
getting hurt was distressful to say the least. But why did he feel like this
towards her? He didn�t know her, he only recognize her because she was working
at the same place as he did. He had no need for women in his life, so why should
she be of importance to him? He shook his red head and then he glanced back at
the shy woman, who now was crying again. She was still silent, but he could see
fresh tears roll down her cheeks.

Please Rin-san, don�t cry, I didn�t meant to be cruel. I� I
worry about you that�s all, he said with a low voice.

-

Why? You do not know me, she said and looked at him. His eyes
had an unusual colour. Almost like the violent sea she decided. And she knew
that she wanted to drown in them. She mentally shook her head, he was getting to
close for her comfort and she rose to her feet, a bit wobbly at first, but she
took hold of the chair to keep her steady.

-

That is true Rin-san. I do not know you. But you are stuck
with me here because of the storm and I have no wish for any female to be hurt.
Not if I can be there to prevent it, said Touya and now a small smile grazed his
lips.
Rin was about to pass
out. Where the hell had she been living? Had this utterly gorgeous man been here
right in front of her the whole time? �Wait a second, what does he mean by �
stuck here?� she looked at him as he turned around to get some water for him
self.

Touya was having some
troubles of his own. He knew that the power that kept this company safe was just
electricity. And as long as the power was out, they could not get out. The doors
were stuck. And jumping from a second store building, no, that was not his idea
of fun. They just had to ride it out until they could go home, which meant, they
were stuck. And since the coffee-room was the only room with lights at the
moment, they were staying together here as well. Not that he was complaining,
not really. He could already tell that Rin, though her shyness, had some fire in
her blood. He had seen it sparkle just a minute ago and a part of his male ego
wanted to see more of it. Or rather a part of him that had a mind of its own,
wanted to see more of it. �Down boy, down� you�ll scare her away!!� He
mentally snarled as he looked down on his black slackers. The bulge underneath
the zipper refused to listen though. As it was said � it had a mind and
definitive a will of its own. Nothing could order Him around.

Rin saw the tension build
up around her new found friend and it made her worry. She walked up to him and
placed a hand on his shoulder.

Heizen-sama? What�s wrong? she asked.

-

N-nothing. Just a bit freaked out I think, he lied and hoped
that the dusky room would not show his embarrassment.

-

Alright�, said Rin and suddenly she felt the need to go to
the bathroom. She bit her lip. She really needed to go, the acute matter of
things had her swallow her pride. � Heizen-sama?

-

Yes, Rin-san?

-

This is a bit emberassing, but you see�., Rin mumbled and bit
her lip again and looked at her feet.

-

You can ask me anything Rin-san, said Touya and turned around
and saw her black head bowed. Her whole appearance spoke of embarrassment.

-

C-could you please escort me to t-the b-bathroom?? she
stuttered and turned around. �Gods, I�m going to die with a red face.�
she thought as her heart was pounding in her chest.

-

Of course, said Touya casually, almost if she had asked him
if he wanted a cup of coffee. � Take a light and I will do the same.
Rin nodded and took a
candle in her hand and they walked out of the room and towards the unisex
bathroom that was located down the hall. Touya was following close behind. His
eyes were glued to her backside. He closely observed her clothing. She was
wearing a pair of black pants and a dark green silky blouse. It was so thin that
he could see the outlines of her bra-straps. But the colours suited her well.
Her long black hair was braided and he knew from earlier that she wore glasses
as well. In his mind he began to strip her of her clothes and the thing he had
so much trouble getting soft a moment ago was back in full force. �What is it
with this fucking storm?? Why is it that I�m feeling like a horny teenager,
trying to make out with my girl as her parents still are in the house?� he
groaned as his left hand moved down to cover his crotch.

Rin opened the door to
one of the bathroom-booths and she placed the candle on the floor and then
closed the little door behind her. She heard Touya stand guard outside and she
was once again having the blush of her life. �Ok, Rin, you can do this, you
do it all the time during the day. This is no different. This is a unisex toilet
after all. You have been here when other men have been around outside several
times. Just relax, relax�tsssssssss.� She thought of the rain that was
falling outside, she was thinking about waterfalls, dripping cranes, but nothing
seemed to work for her now. And yet she could feel the pain from keeping tight
for so long. She would have gone hours ago if it wasn�t for her filing.

Touya tried to look
indifferent but he was smiling inwardly. The young woman couldn�t pee with him
on the other side of the door. �Poor girl, I should go
out into the corridor again.�

-

Rin-san?
A small gasp was his
answer.

-

I�m going outside for a moment, he said and didn�t wait for
her to answer.
Rin nodded before she
caught herself and felt very stupid. How could he see that she was nodding
anyway? She heard the door close behind him and she tried to relax again. And
thank the Lord, there it came.

She sighed and closed her eyes and for a moment she drifted off into a la-la
mode. But she heard him move outside the big bathroom door and she hurried up
with her business. She flushed and picked up the candle from the floor and
opened the door to the booth and walked over to the sink to clean her hands. She
looked into the mirror and saw her spooky reflection. She frowned. She looked
like she went to Hell-away-Town and back again. �No wonder he wanted to get
the hell out of here. I look like shit.� she thought and sighed again and
wiped her hands on a few paper cloths and grabbed the candle and walked out the
door. She saw Touya stand there with his indifferent look on his face.

-

Are you ok? he asked, his voice was back in that emotionless
state again.

-

Y-yeah, thank you for escorting me here, she mumbled and took
the lead, anything instead of looking straight at him. She didn�t want to see
the taunting looks in his eyes.

-

Rin-san, stop�

-

W-why?

-

You are embarrassed? Please don�t be, there is no shame in
that, he said and took hold of her hand and turned her around. Her eyes
flickered before he managed to get her to look up into his face.

-

P-please, Heizen-sama, she whispered and cursed silently as
tears formed in her eyes.

-

Please what Rin-chan? he asked teasingly and put a
hand on her cheek and gently brushed his thumb over her trembling lower lip.

-

I�m embarrassed enough; don�t make it worse for me� please?

-

As you wish Rin-chan, but I still don�t see what the big fuzz
is all about. Come, I will see if there are any emergency equipment in the
janitor�s office, said Touya and took hold of her hand. He felt her struggle a
bit, but he held a gentle but firm hold of her.
Rin wished that the earth
could open up and swallow her whole right about now. Could it get any worse than
this?

Touya was happy to see
the spirit stove; he didn�t think the company would have one. He nodded to Rin
and they walked back to the coffee-room. Touya made some tea for them but the
silence nearly killed him. He could see that Rin still didn�t want to talk to
him. �Damn, I shouldn�t have teased her like that.� he thought and
scolded himself for being such an idiot. It went to a point where he couldn�t
take it anymore. He put the cup away and walked over to Rin and took the cup
away from her and pulled her up to her feet.

-

I�m sorry Rin-san, I shouldn�t have teased you. Please,
forgive me, he said with pleading eyes.

-

W-what?

-

It was very childish of me to tease you Rin-san, please,
forgive me, said Touya again and bowed to show her respect.

-

T-that�s alright Heizen-sama, think nothing of it, mumbled
Rin and diverted her gaze to the floor. His glowing eyes were too much for her.
She felt a shiver go through her as he looked at her.
Touya knew that she meant
it but it was still something there that was bugging him. She was still
embarrassed over something, but what was it. He needed to know.

Rin-san, what�s the matter? he asked and put a finger under
her chin and tilted up her head a bit, just enough so she could look into his
face.

-

N-nothing.

-

Do not lie to me Rin-san, I can feel that there is something
that is troubling you, he said and softened his voice.

-

There�s nothing, please let me go.

-

No, not until you tell me what�s bothering you.
Rin felt something in her
soul snap and she turned her blazing green eyes towards him. Touya sucked in his
breath when he saw the fire in her. �Yes, that�s it little girl. Be angry
with me. Scream at me, shout at me. Anything, just don�t be quiet and suffer
silently.� he thought and waited for the outburst of words. But none came.
The only thing he heard was a low rumbling growl and it made him surprised.
Surprised enough to let her go.

Rin sat down again and
took the cup and hoped that he learned his lesson. The sound she had made was
something she heard learned ages ago. It often caught people by surprise and it
gave her the upper hand in most situations. If she had been attacked it would
have given her enough time to turn the tables around. She was not a helpless
little girl. Her father had made sure that his girl was able to defend herself
against any perpetrator out there.

Touya had indeed been
taken off guard by the sound, but a part of him, note it to be the animalistic
part of his brain, found the sound to be very arousing and he cursed silently as
his little friend awoke once again. �I�m just a pervert.� He thought and
walked over to the sink. �I wish this damn storm was over so I could get home
and take care of this business.� He looked down and tried to force his
erection away by sheer will power.

The silence was still
thick in the air as the light came back on. Rin took a deep breathe and rose to
her feet and walked out from the room without saying a word to Touya. He growled
and followed her to her work area. He saw her put on a long dark green coat and
as she moved towards the stairs that led to the front door, he stopped her.

Rin-chan, don�t leave angry, he said darkly.
Rin looked at him and
noticed that his eyes still had the colour of the raging ocean and she gulped.
The raw emotions she saw shimmering in his eyes made her knees go weak.

-

I�m not angry Heizen-sama, she answered him and tore her eyes
away.
He lost it and growled
again and pushed her against the wall and kissed her. The small gasp coming from
her gave him access to her sweet mouth. His hands trapped her against the wall.
He could feel her soft curves match his hard body. Oh, Lord, the girl was toxin
to his senses. An addictive toxin, he couldn�t get enough of her. The soft mewls
coming from her as his hands roamed over her waist and hips gave him courage to
take more from her than he had planned from the beginning.

Rin knew she was acting
out of character, but she couldn�t help it. She received her first kiss from man
that easily could have passed as God�s gift to woman. And he was practically
devouring her very soul. Every inch of her body melted against him as his kiss
deepened. Her arms went around his neck and when he pushed a leg between her
thighs she moaned. She whimpered when she felt him move away.

Touya looked into her
green eyes and growled again. She was a like a peach, ripe and ready to be
plucked. But she deserved something more; she deserved more than to be taken
against a wall by an animal. He let her go. Without saying a word he turned
around and walked away. �I�m such a pig.� he thought as he rounded the
corner that took him out of sight from the poor girl.

Rin couldn�t believe what
just happened. He had been kissing her, oh dear Lord how he had kissed her. And
now he was just walking away, he didn�t even say good bye.

ARRRRHGG!!! MEN!!!
she screamed and stormed down the stairs and opened the alarmed door.
If she never saw him
again it would be too soon, she decided as she ran through the heavy rain to her
car. Don�t leave angry, he had said. And she had been happy to comply with that,
but then he had to kiss her and then he had to just walk away. No, Rin wasn�t
angry. She was downright furious. She unlocked the door to her car and got
inside and started it and drove home.

Saturday and Sunday was a
blur to Rin. All she could think about was Touya and how he kissed her. There
had been fierceness in his kiss that threatened to consume her; it had nearly
set the whole compound on fire. And yet he had just walked away from it all as
if it had been nothing. How could he do that? Why did he do it? Why had he
kissed her at all if he didn�t feel anything for her?

The questions almost
chewed a hole into her brain as she paced around in her house. Her birds were
chirping, feeling her nervousness and stress. Even her snakes and frogs in her
terrariums were feeling her uneasy mood. She picked out a small frog and took it
in her hand and looked at him.

Ohh Jaken-sama, why does my life have to be so complicated
every time something happens? She sighed as she kissed the little frog�s nose.
A small quack was her
answer and she smiled.

-

Thank you Jaken-sama, your spirit always lifts up my mood,
she said and put him back in the terrarium and walked into the kitchen and
grabbed a soda out of the fridge.
She sat down at the
kitchen table and sipped at the soda, closing her eyes and hoped that the world
would end in two seconds flat. �How will I ever be able to look him in they
eyes again? Will he say anything to me again or will I be a wall flower once
again?� the thoughts burned her as she tried to put out the fire in her soul
with the help of the small soda. But she had to realize that not even the
Atlantic Ocean would be able to put out the fire in her. The put down the can of
soda and got a resolved face.

Why should I be the one to be ashamed here? I did not do
anything wrong. It was he that walked away. It was he that blew his fucking
chance with me. The asshole. I will not let this get to me. It is he that should
be put down that the fucking dog he is!!
That very meaning decided
her future for her. She put her nose into the air and nodded. Yes, she was an
innocent in this. It was Heizen, Touya that was the one that should be ashamed,
not her.

� Monday � Noon �
The morning had passed
rather painlessly for Rin. She had been a nervous wreck the moment she entered
the doors to Maru Inc. She had somehow almost been sure that Heizen-san should
be there, waiting for her. But he wasn�t. And she took the elevator up to the
second plane and found her way over to her work-space without even seeing him.
She thanked the Great Lord for that. Ayame and Sango greeted her as she came to
her office and they asked her about the weekend.

-

Well, I cuddled my snakes and frogs, sang with my birds and
drank a lot of tea, smiled Rin. It was her standard answer, it always had been.
This weekend had not been an exception. What happened during Friday evening was
still a thing that happened during a weekday, not during the weekend. So she did
not lie to her friends.

-

Ohhh, you are such a sick person Rin-san, shuddered Ayame.

-

Why? Because I like snakes and frogs? asked Rin with a smile.

-

Yeah, that�s why. I�m surprised that you do not have a lot of
spiders as well, said Sango and made a disgusted face.

-

Hmm, not a bad idea Sango-san, perhaps I should get me some
spiders as well, laughed Rin and began working with a pile of papers.
Sango and Ayame followed
Rin�s lead and began working as well. They could talk more over the next break.

Rin managed to get
through half the day without any aftershocks from Friday�s freaky happenings.
She was in the basement as usual, right before lunch-break. She heard the call
for the break and she filed away the last pieces of papers and was about to
climb up the stairs when she met Touya again. He was standing like a brick wall
right in front of her. Her eyes narrowed and she tried to will him away from her
eye-sight. Which of course was of no use.

-

What do you want?!! she almost spat as her fingers grabbed
the stair-handlers on each side of the wall.

-

You saw me during the morning break Rin-chan�, his
dark voice made her tremble once again.

-

So???

-

You ignored me!

-

And your point with this thing would be�..? she snorted.
He didn�t say anything,
instead he forced her back down the stairs and he pushed her up against one of
the filing cabinets. He trapped her between the cold metal and his hard body.
His cerulean eyes drilled their way into her heart and she tried to breathe
normally as his body heat seeped through her clothes and formed goose bumps all
over her.

Touya had seen her during
the morning break and she had totally ignored him. And even when he knew that he
deserved her cold treatment, he could not handle it. His animal brain could not
handle it. Not when that part of him had found a female that was warm and
willing in his arms. He wanted to feel it again and by the Gods, when he say her
move down the basement right before lunch break he opened the door down to the
basement and locked it behind him.

Rin could feel his lips
brush over hers, not really touching her. The air in the basement was thick; you
could almost cut it with a knife. Their eyes were locked. Oceanic wild blue
green was blended with dark green blue, creating havoc as they crashed together.

Rin�.
Her name on his lips. His
dark voice made her name to be a beacon of light in the dark basement. Just
hearing him made her want to moan in need and wanton.

-

P-please, she begged without knowing what she was begging of.
She wanted him to make her his. She wanted to be close to him as it was humanly
possible. She wanted to feel him deep inside her body. She wanted him to give
her what she wanted. But that was what she had wanted when he kissed her the
other night, but then he had just left her � what was her proof that he wouldn�t
do it again?

You are mine Rin, he said with his dark voice, sending
tremors of lust down her spine.

E-excuse me??

MINE!!
he roared and crashed his lips onto hers.
The kiss was just like
the one on Friday night. Explosive, heated and it threatened to consume the both
of them with its fire. He was glad that she had decided to wear a jeans skirt to
