A/N: Again thank you to everyone who has reviewed, I love
your input.� Here�s another chapter so
enjoy and I hope you like it.

Chapter 21
Inu no Taisho stood deep in thought
before finally responding, �Would you be able to send it back to hell after the
war?�
�Yes,� Kagome replied calmly.
�Give me a little time to think about it,� he said trying to
weigh the pros and cons of the situation.
�Very well, but don�t take too long.� To give you another sword to wield that you
have not used before will take some time to grow accustomed to and the war will
be the day after tomorrow,� then she turned to Sesshomaru,
�You ready to show me the battle ground?�
Sesshomaru nodded and held his hand out to
her.� As soon as she grabbed it he pulled
her tightly to his chest causing her to giggle before they took to the
air.� Sesshomaru
not wanting to pass up such an opportunity leaned down and kissed her as they
sped through the air.
�Thank you koi, for bringing back
my father,� he whispered into her ear when he pulled back for air.
�You are very welcome, I thought he
deserved another chance as well as you and Inuyasha.� Plus everyone seems to think I am invincible,
but I am not, we can use the help.� Naraku has gathered many more demons and is stronger than
before.� He also has almost all of the Shikon jewel.�
�True, but I know you are not invincible and I am still a
little upset that you almost killed yourself earlier,� Sesshomaru
replied tightening his arms around her as they lowered to the ground.
�I was fine, I didn�t almost kill myself,� Kagome replied
looking around the clearing.
�You forget my mate, I can feel your
life energy and I can smell when you lie.�
Kagome turned from him pretending to look the area over, she
actually had forgotten that.� Damn, he
was good.� Sesshomaru
smirked sensing her emotions, she knew she was busted.� Kagome looked over the clearing to try to
come up with a plan.� It was a big space
and the trees were thin so nobody would be able to sneak up on them.� All they had to do was stand in the center
and keep an eye out on all sides.
�This place seems like a pretty good place,� she said turning
to Sesshomaru, �From the center we can watch all
sides and the trees can�t hide much.�
This is pretty good, now how are we going to transport everyone here?�
�Well, we can use Kirara and Ah Un
to transport those who cannot keep up.�
Do you think you can manage to hide all of our auras until we get here?�
�Sure.�
With that Kagome walked back over to him and he pulled her
into his arms as he rose to the sky once again.�
Halfway there he noticed Kagome space out for a minute.� When her eyes focused again he asked what
happened.
�The guests I have called for are starting to arrive,� Kagome
replied smiling.
�Guests?� Sesshomaru
asked wondering who she had sent for and how.
�Yes, Ginta, Hakaku,
and Ayame just entered my barrier and are on their
way to the palace.�
Sesshomaru was still a little shocked, but
asked nothing else as they arrived at the palace.� He could see Inuyasha
and Kouga out in the field practicing with their
swords and the Shichinintai were also practicing, but
at the opposite end of the field.� As
soon as they hit the ground Kagome kissed him on the cheek and made her way
over to his brother and Kouga.� He smiled at her then turned to his father.
Inu no Taisho stood at the gates
watching the different warriors battle.�
He noticed his daughter making her way over to his youngest and his
mate.� Sesshomaru
came to his side and turned to watch as well.�
They both watched as Kagome went to Inuyasha�s
previous place and the two men stood together.�
Tension and power filled the air as the two men put their energy into
the swords.
Inu no Taisho took a step forward with
the intention of stopping them, but was held back when he felt Sesshomaru�s hand on his arm.� He looked at Sesshomaru
and noticed that he was calm, which calmed him a little.� He could feel the power in the swords increasing
causing the hair on the back of his neck to stand on end.� Then he heard the yells and turned to face
his daughter again.
�Dragonfire!�
�Tiger�s Roar!�
His eyes widened when he saw the power coming from the swords
and felt panic as he saw the power rushing toward Kagome.� She just stood there and watched.� When the power was almost upon her she raised
one hand palm out toward the power rushing toward her.� Then the attack struck and everyone turned
quickly to shield their eyes from the light and faces from debris.
When the light cleared they turned back, but they could not
see anything through the dust.� When the
dust finally settled all eyes turned toward the spot where Kagome had been
standing.� Inu
no Taisho rushed forward seeing Kagome standing on a small patch of land.� The ground surrounding her was gone all the
way into the forest and at least ten feet deep.�
Kagome seemed completely unscathed from the attack.
Sesshomaru walked up to his father�s side
sensing his awe as he looked at Kagome, �She never ceases to amaze me,� Sesshomaru said.
�Well son you definitely picked a real wild one,� Inu no Taisho said watching as Kagome easily jumped over
the ditch and landed nimbly on her feet next to them.
�That was good guys, you want to try again?� That blast was a lot stronger than the last
one,� Kagome yelled over to the men as she put out her hand to repair the
damage to the field.
�No, I think we�re good,� Inuyasha
called back going to sit by a tree to rest, he still had problems getting over
attacking his friend.
Kagome turned to Inu no Taisho,
�Well what about you?� You want to go a round hand to hand?�
Or you can use Tetsusaiga and we can spar?�
Inu no Taisho smirked, �Sure, why
not?� Sesshomaru
give me Tetsusaiga.�
Sesshomaru handed over the sword and everyone
quickly evacuated the field and went to the gate entrance to watch.� Kagome went to the center of the field and
pulled her sword from the black orb.� Inu no Taisho soon joined her.
�Hey Sesshomaru, you did warn him
not to pin her to his chest right?� Inuyasha asked as
soon as they were seated.
Sesshomaru paled, �Shit,� he got up to go warn
his father, but they had already begun.
They attacked each other with all they had,
moving so fast that even the demons could barely keep up.� All the Shichinintai saw was sparks of power here and there.� Then they saw both swords fly off to separate
ends of the field.� Sesshomaru
watched as even his father had trouble keeping up with Kagome.� She landed blow after blow, his armor was
already shattered.� They flew through the
air attacking one another.
After a few blows both of them fell to the field below.� The ground shook with the impact and all the
group could see was crater where they had landed.� However within seconds both had jumped out
and were back at it.� Inu
no Taisho used his energy whip to get his sword as Kagome flipped over to
hers.� They struck each other again, the
swords screeching against each other.
Suddenly, Inu no Taisho managed to
get behind Kagome and pin her to his chest.�
Everyone tried to yell for him to release her but it was too late.� Her sword was split into two and stabbed
through her sides and into him.� His eyes
widened in surprise as he looked down to see the swords stabbed into his
stomach.� What surprised him more was
that he saw them protruding from her sides.
He slowly backed away but Kagome quickly pulled the swords
out and swept his feet out from under him.�
He found himself looking up at his new daughter and her sword was at his
throat.� She was smiling.
�Do you yield, for now?� she asked.
�Hai, I yield,� he replied standing
up.
They walked back to the group together and he was surprised
to see that the wounds on her sides were already healed.� The group was all in shock, Kagome had beat
the great Inu no Taisho?� How was that possible?
�Well that was interesting,� Inu no
Taisho said as he walked up to Sesshomaru.
�Yes, I forgot to warn you that she loves to stab herself to
get a blow in when she is caught,� Sesshomaru said
looking over to Kagome.
�What can I say, I love to get in the final blow,� she
replied smiling.
Everyone finally snapped out of their trances and went back
to the field to continue to practice.

Kagome sat at the gate watching the others practice.
�So what has happened with my sons.� Have they been getting along while I was
gone?� Inu no Taisho asked.
�Not exactly, in fact they have barely become friendly toward
each other recently,� Kagome replied.
�Really, what happened?�
�Why don�t I show you?� Kagome said holding out her hand to
him.
Inu no Taisho looked at her hand for a
minute before finally taking it.� Almost
instantly all of Kagome�s memories flooded through his mind.� He saw how the boys had fought each other.� He saw everything and could feel the sting of
tears behind his eyelids when he saw Inuyasha rape
Kagome.� When he had seen everything up
till this point in time Kagome released his hand.
Inu no Taisho sat silently next to her,
facing the field but not really seeing the men sparring.� He could still feel the sting of tears.� His new daughter was definitely something
else.� She had to be the most forgiving
person he had ever met.� He felt a pride
course through him as he thought of all his daughter had gone through and still
managed to stay forgiving and happy.� He
was also proud of his sons now that they were not fighting each other.
Suddenly Kagome stood up snapping him from his thoughts.�� She had a big smile on her face.� He could sense the aura�s of three people
approaching.� Kagome rushed to greet her
friends.� Ginta,
Hakaku, and Ayame all
rushed to hug her.� Stories had spread
about what she had done and they were happy to see her safe and sound.� They were also excited to find out that she
was happily mated.
They talked as they walked back to the clearing where the
others were waiting for them.� They all
greeted each other, Kouga was completely surprised to
see his pack mates and Ayame, but he was also
happy.� They had more help for the
battle.� Ginta
and Hakaku were also excited when they found out that
Kouga and Inuyasha were mated.� They knew their prince loved the hanyou but he had always allowed his pride to get in the
way.
They didn�t know how the den would take the union, some would
probably be happy, Inuyasha had helped the tribe many
times, but others were bound to be very unhappy.� Kouga tensed when Ayame approached him, he was scared that she would be upset
thinking that he was supposed to mate her.�
He was surprised however when she hugged him and excitedly congratulated
him.
�So when are the two of you planning on having pups?� I bet they will be so cute, I hope some of
them have silver hair,� Ayame said quickly joined by
his other comrades.
�Pups?!�
Are you all crazy?� Inuyasha yelled.
�Inuyasha you will have to have
pups so that Kouga can have an heir,� Ginta said.
�But I am a man!� How
do you expect me to have pups?�
�You mean you didn�t know that as a male hanyou
you can have pups?� they all asked in surprise.
�Really?� Inuyasha
asked looking around at all of them trying to figure out if they were just
picking on him.
�It is true Inuyasha.� I am sorry, if I had
taken you in when your mother died you would already know all of this.� I failed to teach you youkai
ways so all you know is human ways.� We
are all here now though, so if you have any other questions do not be embarrassed
to ask.� If anyone makes fun of you for
this then I will deal with them personally,� Sesshomaru
said giving Inuyasha a quick hug and giving the
others a quick glare of warning.
Kagome smiled at the scene, finally
they were acting like brothers.� Everyone
took a step back from Sesshomaru and he could smell
the uncertainty coming off of them.� He
growled a little to let them know he was completely serious about what he had
said.� With that he released Inuyasha and went back to his mate�s side.� When he passed his father he could see the
slight smile and shine of pride in his eyes.
Sesshomaru took Kagome�s hand and walked toward
the palace.� They still needed to talk
strategy for the war to come and he wanted some time alone with her.� The question of pups had struck him.� He wanted pups, but with everything that had
been going on he had not had the chance to discuss it with Kagome.� He knew she liked children, so he guessed she
would want pups too, but he figured that it would have to wait until after the
battle.
He knew to get her pregnant now would be a bad idea, but they
could still talk about it.� He led her to
his study, they still had about an hour until
dinnertime so they could discuss strategy for the battle as well as pups
afterwards.� After they were both seated
on the couch Kagome resting against him they began discussing their plan of
action.� They would hide their aura�s and leave before dawn.
After they had everything ready they would show their aura
and draw Naraku to them.� Kagome would hide most of her aura to make it
seem like nothing had changed so they would maintain the element of
surprise.� They knew Naraku
wanted her so they would have to stick close by and make sure he didn�t get
near her.
�Kagome?� Sesshomaru
asked after they had finished that conversation.
�Yes?�
�After this is all over what do you think of having some pups
of our own?� he asked nervously.
Kagome was silent for a moment, then
suddenly pounced on him kissing him with all the passion she possessed.
�Koi, I would love to have some
pups of our own after this is over.�
Well, more pups, we already have Rin and Shippo.� Still, I
would love nothing more than to have pups.�
Sesshomaru felt his heart swell at her
answer.� He wrapped his arms around her
and pulled her closer to him claiming her lips.�
He finally had a family and after this war he would be able to make it
even bigger.� He found himself wondering
what his tiny mate would look like with her stomach swollen with his pups.
