Sango woke from her
slumber, feeling a bit strange. She opened her eyes and was surprised to see Rin
next to her, and they were no outside anymore. �What the hell is going on
here?� she asked silently when she saw Kagome inside the hut too. Something
was definitive going on.

-
Psst, Kagome-chan, wake up, said
Sango and rustled Kagome�s foot.

-
Mmm, what Sango-chan? mumbled
the sleepy Kagome

-
Get up, something is not right
here, we are both inside Kaede�s hut. And Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Miroku and
Kagura are not here. Wake up, we must find them, said Sango.

-
Mmm ok, I am up.
Kagome sat up and looked
around the hut and found Sango�s word to be true. A small jolt inside her
stomach made it clear of what was about to happen.

Shards, and they heading this
way fast, breathed Kagome and got up in a hurry. She found her bow and arrows
and run out of the hut.

KAGOME-CHAN,
shouted Sango, not caring if she woke up the whole village, and the she got her
Hiraikotsu and followed her sister out from the hut.
Kagome saw the whirlwind
that was Kouga. He stopped right in front of the young miko. His ice blue eyes
held an apology for his earlier doings, and he was not surprised to see her
raise her arrow towards his chest.

What do you want Kouga? spat
Sango as she came to stand beside Kagome.

-
First I want to apologize for my
earlier actions; they were very harsh and rude. I can�t forgive myself for
endanger you and your unborn pup Sango-sama. I am very sorry for that.

Why did you do it Kouga? asked
Kagome.

I was overcome by jealousy; it
took over my heart, filling it with madness. I have no memory of what happened
after Sesshoumaru-sama killed me, but Ginta and Hakkaku told me that he used his
other sword to revive me. I woke up in our den and please believe me when I say
� I was horrified by my own actions.

Thank you Kouga, you are
forgiven. But why are you here? asked Sango and eyed him suspiciously.

-
Naraku has traveled to this
domain and I am here to fight him.

-
He is here? That explains much,
snarled Sango furiously.
That was why she woke up
next to Rin inside the hut. Sesshoumaru and company had gone to fight the vile
creature on their own. �Fuck, I will not have this.� thought Sango.

-
Come Kagome-chan, we too have a
score to settle with the asshole. Show us the way Kouga-sama, said Sango and
lifted up her boomerang on her shoulder.
Kouga nodded and sniffed
the air. He took off in a rather brisk pace and Kagome and Sango followed in his
tracks.

Sesshoumaru released the
power of his sword together with Inuyasha�s sword. It hit dead on the body of
Naraku. Even though his poisonous bees were all over the place, Miroku opened
his Kazaana to suck in parts of Naraku, so he could not regenerate.

Kagura saw her future
mate go down to his knees and her eyes bled over to be all red and she released
her dancing blades towards the swarm of insects.

Kagura, I see you have taken on
a human mate, taunted the black voice of Naraku.

-
I will kill you for what you did
to my sister, snarled the wind witch and did a graceful movement with her fan,
letting loose all her wind power towards her former master.

-
Do you think your puny power is
a threat to me??
Naraku laughed roughly
and let a tentacle shoot towards his disobedient slave. It hit her in the
shoulder, impaling her to the ground. But he failed to see the glittering arrow
of purification coming from his left side. It hit right into the tentacle that
held Kagura and he howled in pain as the pure energy spread over his limb,
disintegrated it.

KAGOME!!!
shouted Inuyasha and rushed over to his mate.

-
Let me shoot a few more of these
and he will be dust, said Kagome with a vicious voice.

HIRAIKOTSU!!!
Sango�s battle cry echoed
over the field and her weapon cut through a couple of deadly tentacles.
Sesshoumaru paled as he saw a swarm of bees head right towards his pregnant
mate, he used his inhuman speed to reach her in time. But Kagura was faster,
even though she still was on her knees; she let loose the wind blades from her
fan, cutting the insects in half.

Sango, what the fuck are you
doing here? snarled Sesshoumaru and lay an arm around her waist. He looked down
into her blazing eyes.

-
I am going to do my part on
killing this fucker, said Sango with a dark voice.

-
Me too Sesshoumaru-sama, said a
voice behind them and Sesshoumaru turned around to see the wolf prince.

YOU!

Take easy Sesshou; he is here to
help us, nothing else.

Let me show you how you can use
shards in the proper way, smirked the wolf and sped off towards Naraku. In a
windy blur he delivered hard and deadly kicks all over the disgusting body.
Kouga moved back and saw
Inuyasha release the powerful Kaze no Kizu, the wound of the wind, onto the
sprawling Naraku. Sesshoumaru used his sword to let loose a wave of power.
Together with Kagura�s wind blades, Kagome�s purifying arrows, Miroku�s
cleansing ofudas and Sango�s enormous cutting boomerang, and there was nothing
Naraku could do. All this power and strength got to him and he disappeared into
dust.

The magnificent seven
stood in the field, watching the dust spread with the help of the natural wind.
Kagome walked over to the dark shards in the ground and she purified them with
no effort at all. She looked at Kouga and he removed his two shards from his
legs and gave them to her. The Shikon no Tama was complete.

It was finally over.
