After reading the scrolls, I was reminded of a very low time of my life.A life without you. One of them made it to in my time encased in a compact ,I believe to be that of your mother's . I remembered how happy I was when I got that after cleaning up the flood that nearly destroyed the shrine. I know that you love me Inuyasha and I do still feel the love that I had for you so long ago .

I accept that your my mate, but it's going to take me time to get over the fear that one day you'll run back to Kikyo . I don't think you trying to protect me like you always have was stupid ,but I do believe it could've been done another way ,with you telling me how you felt. For this to work you have to trust me with all of you ,this I don't know why you don't I accept and love every other part that is you. Inuyasha.

So please talk to me, come to me .Do not think you have to handle everything yourself, because you have me . In saying this for now I will allow you to claim me as your mate and begin to court me. ..Forever Yours Love Always Kagome

Inuyasha sat their suddenly floored by her words, so she did get the one that Inuyasha could only hope Kagome would get. Rereading the beauteously written words that seemed to flow across the page as the hanyou seemed to hear her loving voice speak each one with him,as he read. Closing his ambered colored eyes ,feeling her presence while holding the scroll that held so much meaning to him. In relief, Inuyasha was now comforted by her acceptance and the love that she still seemed to have for him ,for Kagome's words spoke the truth. Somewhat saddened by those words that haunted him for years without saying, Inuyasha never gave all of himself to her when she loved all of him. The fact of their damning destruction by his hands only made him more determined to make it right this time, and reunite them as they should've been so long ago. Silently laughing remembering everything she told him in that simple letter ,happiness flowing through him ,even the taunt about sitting him ,only making him laugh harder with the love expressed for him,and in such a simple way.

"So is everything okay between you two ,or is this Sesshomeru going to have to bring Kouga's bloodhounds to clean up the bloodbath from Lady Kagome sitting you to the ground" Sesshomeru taunted with a straight face earning a rather hysterical cackle from his brother.

"The only way that girl will ever be able to sit me is as my mate and at that I can assure you she will be coming down with me" Inuyasha stated breathlessly between bouts of laughter.

" Then I supposed this Seehomeru should prepare for the event , tommorrow night will mark both of you as mates." Sesshomeru said on his way out to chance and make his way to the dinning hall ,leaving a happily dazed hanyou.

The hanyou sighed thinking of what Sesshomeru said ,while dreaming about what his life held now that he would finally soon get what he had always wanted. Kagome.

" Then I supposed this Seehomeru should prepare for the event , tomorrow night will mark both of you as mates."

Inuyasha in the end had to admit, he found himself rather liking the sound of that ,actually the hanyou loved it ,and found that it was hard to find the patience to wait for it. A knock on the door had interrupted his musings, quickly hurried noticing the position of the sun ,and knowing it was now dinner time. Casually making his way to the door and about to yell at the person continuously knocking,thinking it was Miroku. To say that the hanyou was surprised to open the door and see the beautiful smiling face of his mate was a understatement. Quickly opening the door to yell then snapping back to repeatedly open and shut his mouth to gather his nerve to recollect himself. Gawking slightly ,shaking his head, and when he found use of his mouth and voice for the way he answered the door, invited her in. After Inuyasha had shut the door following her entrance , and the hanyou had took her hand to lead her to sit on his bed. Taking a moment to admire her ,the hanyou still holding her hand leaned down on both knees to look into her now downcast eyes.To see that Kagome was again smiling at him shyly blushing while he gazed into her chocolate eyes.

Inuyasha with his injured but nearly healed hand landed softly grazing the side of her face landing so that the hanyou could make her meet his eyes. The hanyou slowly made to close the small gap to meet his mate's awaiting lips.As soon as the need for air ,and the break before the line was crossed of no return was present Inuyasha pulled away smugly when he heard the whine from his mate .

" Soon Saiai,but first things first ..Wait here" Inuyasha stated placing a finger to her lips then hurriedly left her to dress for tonite's dinner

Inuyasha returned shortly wearing a red Haori and Haskama similar to his robe of the fire rat only with a black nagajuban ,and a black silk rope tying it together. Coming out with his hair down to his waist ,the hanyou pulled his hair into a a taunt warrior's bun tied by that of a black leather cord. In his mate's opinion ,his choice of tonight's wardrobe curiously brought memories back as well as matching the Kinomo that Lord Sesshomeru laid out for her.

It was a simple red Kimono with a black Haori, and her hair was in a simple bun with decorative butterfly hair ornanments often referred to as Nihon-gami, placed firmly with chopstick like hair pins known as Kanzashi,with inky ringlets and cascading like a waterfall down her back. After Inuyasha was done ,he steadily made his way over to his patiently waiting mate,seeing she was looking out his window. The hanyou snaked his arms around her, sighing deeply into her neck,and inhaling some of her sweet scent . Leaning into his embrace ,Kagome melted into his tight hold ,and while lightly stroking his ears.

Inuyasha ,took her hand and laid a kiss on it before leading her to the door before a thought lingered in his head reminding him of what his mate once told him earlier.

" That reminds me Koshi, now that we are going to be mates ..I almost dare you to sit me ,because if you do .You do know that your coming down with me right ? I for one wouldn't mind being pinned with you underneath me , but I don't think you'd want to mess up your hair , would we?" Inuyasha taunted smuggly earning the equally smug stare and laugh that spoke volumes of ' Watch Me'.

" That's my girl, I Love you Kagome" Inuyasha said before groping her ass

" I Love You too Inuyasha even if you spend way to much time with Miroku" Kagome chided trying to avert his hands away from her butt and back out so she could hold his arm

"Ha , yes that may be true but over the years ,I find it to be more fun ,especially around you " Inuyasha returned

" Encourageable ,I tell ya " Kagome stated before being pinned to the wall

"Maybe, but waiting for you all this time I say I am behaving quite well ,I could be so much worse" Inuyasha whispered huskily in her ear ,before nibbling her lobe and taking her hand, escorting his mate to dinner .While walking the hanyou smirked towards the blush ,knowing it was him that put it there.
