Night Time 26
He was a broken man. He
had nothing more to live for. This had to be the end of his pitiful life. He
fell face forward towards the earth and he welcomed death with open arms. He was
a half demon that had lost his first mate and new born pup in child birth. After
many years he had found a new woman to love, only to see her walk out of him.
Leaving him for a full blooded wolf demon. His heart had turned into a chunk of
black coal. There was nothing left for him in this world. He could die and join
his first wife and child in the nether world. That was what he wished for as he
collapsed at the foot of the holy mountain.
Miroku was the monk that
had found the half demon at the foot of the mountain. He had called for help and
after a few arguments; the other monks had helped him carry him to the
monastery. Miroku was very concerned about the hanyou’s situation. This half
human, half demon had no will to live at all. But as the days turned into a
week, the hanyou grew stronger and then suddenly he awoke. Miroku smiled and
made him lie back.
-
Do not worry my young friend, said Miroku. – You are in a
safe place.
-
Where am I? asked the hanyou.
-
You are at the monastery of Ginrei*, my name is Miroku and I
was the one that found you at the base of the mountain. You have suffered a lot
from both physical and mental harm, but now you are on your way to be well
again, said Miroku with a gentle smile.
-
Who said I wanted to live? snarled Inuyasha as he closed his
eyes. His head was an aching mass and he wanted to sink back into oblivion
again.
-
Then I must apologize, but I did not want you to perish, I
feel that you have yet to accomplish something in your life, said Miroku.
-
Keh!!
-
Rest now my friend, I will be watching over you and I will
protect you with my life if it comes down to that, said Miroku and put a vial of
water to Inuyasha’s mouth. He was glad to see that the half demon drank some of
the water. Perhaps his will to live was not completely destroyed.
Inuyasha laid back again
and closed his eyes. He was still hurting badly from the betrayal of Kagome.
Just knowing that the woman he had given his heart to, choose to mate with a
full blooded demon. He wanted to cry but his heart had been turned into stone.
He had no tears left to cry anymore.
The time passed and the
hanyou recovered. But since he had nowhere to go, he stayed at the monastery,
helping the monks with the heavy work. He gathered woods for their fires; he
helped them repair the huts and things like that. He protected them if a vicious
low level demon came around. Miroku was his friend, a friend that he in the long
run came to trust with his life.
Three years passed and
Inuyasha had found his place in life, or so he thought. Miroku was a true
friend; the other monks seemed to trust him even if he was a half demon. But he
protected them and their little settlement on the mountain. He helped them out
when ever they asked for his help. Inuyasha felt content with his life for the
first time since Kagome had betrayed him. He didn’t need a female in his life.
He had two and that was enough and he practically was one of the monks, the
small difference was that he had not taken a vow of celibacy. He was just part
of the community anyway.
But the history of the
hanyou was about to change. His life was about to be altered. And this time it
was another female. He found her badly beaten at the hot springs not far from
the temple. She wore the outfit of a demon slayer. And by the looks of it, she
had fought an army of demons before they left her to die. But she was not dead,
not yet. Next to her lie a battered figure, a fire cat by the looks of it. And
the way the slayer reached out for the cat, it looked like they had been
partners. The cat was dead and he could smell death on the slayer. The half
demon growled and ripped open a wound on his wrist and put the wound to her
mouth, forcing her to drink some of his blood.
Inuyasha took a breath of
relief as the woman swallowed his blood. Soon the smell of death was gone and
her wounds began to heal in an inhuman rate. As soon as he was sure that she
would live, he carried her and the body of her cat back to the temple. This of
course raised some voices but he just growled at the monks, telling them that
this woman was in need of help, they could keep their hentai thoughts to them
selves.
Miroku was surprised that
a half demon would save and take care of a woman that was a member of the demon
slayers tribe. But Inuyasha did. Miroku gave Inuyasha the herbs he needed to
heal her wounds. He stood by his hanyou friend, telling the other monks that
this was the right thing to do. The woman needed help and in this condition she
was no threat to their community.
=¨¨¨¨ ♥ ¨¨¨¨=
Sango’s world right now,
was a world of torment. Her body ached and she could almost swear that her head
had turned into a pulse-point of earth shattering pain. She tried to remember
what happened and somehow she was a bit surprised that she was still alive. She
had fought a great number of wolf demons, they had killed her best friend and
loyal companion Kirara, and she knew that she should be dead as well. But she
didn’t feel dead at all. She felt that she was still alive and she was in great
pain. She heard a soft purring voice talk to her, it told her to sleep and heal.
The voice had such a soothing tone that she just took a deep breath and followed
it. Just seconds later she was dead to the world, sleeping and healing.
Inuyasha was not sure to
why he had given her his blood. He could smell the stench of wolfs on her body,
the same kind of demon stench that his former mate to be had chosen over him.
Perhaps that was why he had saved this demon slayer. She had fought against the
very thing that had taken his mate to be from him. The only thing he knew was
that he wanted her to survive. The only problem was – he had made a blood bond
with this woman. She would forever be bound to him, weather she liked it or not.
“Let it be a question for later.” Had Miroku said as he helped Inuyasha
to change the bandages on her body. But Inuyasha was not so sure, he wanted to
tell her. But Miroku advice him not to do it. Let her heal first, was his
answer.
Once Inuyasha was
completely sure that his patient was going to survive, he settled down next to
her, keeping his father’s sword close at hand and then he slept.
Sango awoke in the middle
of the night, her first impression was that she was dead, but the pain in her
body told her differently. She opened her eyes and saw an oil lamp burning with
a gentle light not far from her. She moved her head to the right and saw a
figure sitting next to her. The long silver hair gave the indication of being an
old man, but that was before she took a better look on his face. The man was
barely a man, she decided, it was a young man, and as she examined his aura –
she knew that he was a hanyou. Her eyes wandered higher and she saw a pair of
silvery dog ears on top of his head. She wanted to giggle when she felt the need
to touch them, but her status at the moment prevented it.
Inuyasha could feel the
gaze of his patient but he kept his eyes closed. But as the time progressed and
he could not smell fear he decided to open his eyes to look at her. Her gaze
were locked on top of his head and he twitched his ear a bit and that made her
eyes widened a bit.
Sango saw his ear twitch
and she gasped. Was he awake? Then she saw his eyes, they glowed in the light of
the oil lamp.
-
Uhhm…. Konbanha, she said and blinked.
-
Good evening to you too slayer, said Inuyasha and let a small
smile graze his lips. He did not move from his spot, afraid that he would scare
her if he did.
-
W-where am I? she asked as her hand grasped the blankets she
was covered in.
-
You are at Ginrei’s monastery. I brought you here after I
found you almost dead not far from here, said Inuyasha.
-
You are a half demon?
-
Yes, my name is Inuyasha, said Inuyasha.
-
I am Sango. Why did you save me? I am a demon slayer – I kill
the likes of you.
-
Hmpf, I would like to see you try and kill me, said Inuyasha
with a snort.
-
Do you think I can not?
-
No, you can not, believe me, said Inuyasha. – Not unless I
let you do it.
The woman in the bed
growled and moved to sit up. She was surprised when she felt his arms help her
up and he gave her the sword she had been carrying before the meeting with the
wolf demons.
-
Trust me Sango, I have no intention of harming you, said
Inuyasha as he placed her sword in her lap.
-
You are an odd one…., she said as she grabbed her sword and
removed it from its sheath and put the edge of the metal to his throat.
But all he did was
tilting his head back, exposing his neck to her blade.
-
Kill me fast, that is all I ask of you slayer. Relieve me of
my pain and send me to the ones I love and care for, said Inuyasha.
-
Why?
-
My wife and child are in the realm of the dead, kill me and I
will join them in the after life, said Inuyasha.
-
INUYASHA-SAN!!
a voice hollered and the hanyou growled.
“And here I thought I
was going to meet Kikyo and my child.”
thought Inuyasha as Miroku came dashing through the sliding doors and disarmed
the taijya.
Miroku saw Inuyasha
burning gaze as he removed the sword from the demon slayer. His friend still
harboured wishes to die. The monk’s dark blue eyes drilled into the hanyou’s
amber ones.
-
Inuyasha-san, why? he asked.
-
Keh! answered Inuyasha and looked away.
-
Taijya-sama, please excuse my friend; he has much sorrow in
his heart. He wants to die, but I can not let him die so easily, said Miroku and
looked into the green eyes of the demon slayer.
-
Who are you? asked Sango but her eyes never left the red
clothed figure next to her. There was something about him that would not let her
back away, but she had felt something the moment she put her sword to his
throat. She knew that she could not kill him; something forced her to hold back.
And she cursed herself for being so weak.
-
My name is Miroku, and I am one of the monks in this
monastery. The hanyou here is my friend I will not allow you to take the life of
the person who saved your life taijya-sama, said Miroku and threw her sword
across the room.
But before Sango could
answer the monk, Inuyasha left with a snort. He did not want to hear anymore of
their stupid conversation.
Sango looked confused at
the purple dressed monk.
-
He has strange ways, said Miroku. – But believe me
taijya-sama, he saved your life, he wanted you to live.
-
Then why has he a death wish? asked Sango.
-
He has been badly burned by the flames of love. His first
mate died while giving birth to their first child, the second woman he loved
walked out of him. She found her a mate in a full blooded wolf-demon, said
Miroku and took a deep breathe.
-
I fought wolf demons… They took my friend’s life, said Sango
and felt tears well up in her eyes.
-
I know, Inuyasha told me he could smell the wolfs on you when
he brought you here to heal, said Miroku and changed the bandages on her left
arm.
-
But K-kirara?
-
The two-tailed cat?
-
Y-yes.
-
She is buried in our shrine taijya-sama, Inuyasha said that
it was our duty because she made sure that our monastery was safe.
Sango let her tears flow
freely now. The man, the hanyou she had put her sword up against had shown her
friend respect. He had made sure that her friend had been buried with the
respect that she deserved.
-
H-houshi-sama? asked Sango and looked at the monk.
-
Yes?
-
C-could you please ask Inuyasha-sama to come back inside, I
m-must speak to him, said Sango.
-
Of course, said Miroku and rose to his feet and walked out of
the room.
Sango hated the fact that
she felt weak, but her pride said that she had to thank the half demon for his
actions. But it seemed like the hanyou was far away and Sango was tired, she
fell asleep before she could talk to him.
Inuyasha saw her sleeping
form and he sat down next to her just like he had done the days before. Her
sword was thrown across the room and he fetched it and put it under her hand. He
had some kind of understanding to her situation. She hated to feel weak, just as
he did. Miroku had found him after a few hours and the monk told him that he had
told the slayer about Inuyasha’s actions. The monk had told the taijya that
Inuyasha had buried the two tailed cat inside the shrine. “Why should she
care anyway? I am just a lowlife hanyou, I am not worth anything but hatred…”
he thought as he closed his eyes.
Sango awoke two days
later, fully healed. She was still weak, but she could feel that her wounds had
been healed. This made her somewhat confused, because she knew that she should
have been dead. She remembered parts of the conversations she had with the
hanyou and the monk, but not all of it. She found a yukata and dressed herself
and rose to her feet, stretching her stiff limbs into the air. She saw the
hanyou sitting next to the door and she decided she wanted to talk to him before
talking to the monk.
-
I am awake slayer, said the hanyou and opened his eyes and
looked at the stunned demon slayer.
-
Oh… I’m sorry..
-
Don’t worry about it. How do you feel? asked Inuyasha without
moving from his spot.
-
G-good, a bit stiff, but good.
-
Hmm, well, then I will be off then! said Inuyasha and rose to
his feet and was about to walk out the door when he felt a warm hand on his arm.
-
P-please, stay? asked Sango and shivered the moment his amber
eyes looked at her.
-
Why?
-
I… I wanted to thank you for saving my life, said Sango and
bowed her head. – And I wanted to thank you for giving my friend Kirara a proper
burial. I was afraid that she would be left to the wild animal of the forest.
Sango fell to her knees
and bowed as if he would be a member of the royal family or something.
Inuyasha felt
uncomfortable with the whole situation and he took her right arm and dragged her
back up on her feet again. He saw the faint blush on her cheeks and something
moved inside his stomach. He growled and let her go.
-
Don’t ever do that to me again, never bow to me slayer, said
Inuyasha and moved towards the door again.
But if Inuyasha thought
she was going to let him walk out of her so easily, he thought wrong. He
suddenly was hugged from behind and a face was pushed between his shoulder
blades. He could feel her warm breathe seep through his fire rat coat. The blood
bond made him feel contentment in her hug and he cursed himself for the thousand
time that he had made her drink his blood.
-
Please, don’t leave me… Inuyasha.
-
Let me go, before I make you! snarled the hanyou.
-
No, please, stay. I feel so lonely... you did something to
me, didn’t you?
-
Keh!!
-
Tell me!
-
Will you let me go if I tell you?
-
Maybe..., said Sango and took in his wild scent. Gods, how
could this be? She had just met the guy and yet it felt so perfect to be close
to him. It was like she craved his closeness.
Inuyasha growled as she
pushed closer into his form. His stomach began to flutter and his body responded
to her warmth. He should have left her to die. Then he would not have to worry
about the bond that now grew in strength as they touched. The blood bond had yet
to be fully completed, but Inuyasha had no wish to complete it.
-
Tell me what you did, said Sango and moved around him to look
into his face.
-
You smelled of death wench, growled Inuyasha and gritted his
teeth together and clenched his fists. He had to control himself. But all he
wanted to hug her close, rip off those form fitting clothes of her and ravish
her, dominate her.
-
W-what?
-
You protected this place from being attacked by demons. I
just couldn’t let you die bitch, said Inuyasha and growled even more as the word
bitch flowed over his lips. That was just the wrong word at the moment. His
demon chuckled in the back of his head, telling him that she indeed was a bitch,
his bitch.
-
So what did you do….? And don’t call me bitch!! she spat and
her eyes flashed angrily at him.
Something that only added
to his lust to dominate her. His body began to shake because of his restraints,
but she didn’t seem to notice his problems. Instead she fisted her hands in his
clothes and pulled his face down as she glared at him.
-
I gave you life!!
-
How? demanded Sango. But as soon as her question left her
lips she knew the answer. She paled and let go of his red haori. She backed away
as a memory came through the mists. Blood, he had given her his blood. And by
doing just that, he had bonded her to him. She could never leave him, not for
very long anyway.
Inuyasha saw that she
realized what he had done. He could see all kinds of emotions fly over her cute
little face as the news dawned her. He wanted to cry when he saw them flush her.
She hated him; she would accuse him for all kind of gruesome things, of that he
was sure. “You have destroyed the life of yet another female.” a dark
voice hollered in his mind and he swallowed hard to not let his sorrow show.
But Sango didn’t hate
him, she was astounded that he had gone through so much just to save her life.
He didn’t even know her and yet he had made a blood bond with her so she would
live. He did it for her. Nobody had done anything remotely close to what he had
done the day he gave her his blood. She felt tears run down her face as another
thing dawned her. She would never be alone again. He would always be there with
her.
Inuyasha was about to
leave when she grabbed hold of his haori again. Her emerald green eyes glowed
with something that Inuyasha had not seen in many years. His heart skipped a
beat and he sucked in his breath.
-
Inuyasha….?
-
What? he snorted, trying to regain his cold façade.
-
Thank you, she whispered and rose up to her toes and kissed
him ever so softly on his cheek.
Inuyasha was stunned. He
didn’t know what to do. She didn’t hate him? She didn’t want to kill him for
what he had done to her? He felt his face warm up as her soft lips left his
cheek. He looked down into her face and saw her smile through her tears. An
electric spark ignited something in his chest and suddenly his heart began to
race. His hands moved up as if they had a life of its own and he cupped her tear
stained face.
-
Y-your welcome, he said and then he rushed out of the hut.
-
Huh? Sango was confused, what the hell was that all about?
She walked outside and saw the monk Miroku look just as confused as her.
-
Taijya-sama? What happened? he asked.
-
I… I don’t know… I’m not sure, said Sango and blushed
lightly.
-
Inuyasha looked…happy, said Miroku as he realized what had
changed within the hanyou.
-
I thanked him for giving me my life back and then.. I kissed
him on the cheek. Then he just ran out.. I’m not sure what happened, mumbled
Sango as she saw the red clothed figure make his way to the top of the mountain.
-
You, my dear Taijya-sama. You are what happened to him. I
think you gave him something that made him want to live again, said Miroku as he
put his hand on her shoulder.
Sango blushed more
deeply, but nodded. She had felt the rush of tension as it left his body when
she thanked him. Or was it just her acceptance of his deed? She was not sure
what it was, but she had done a good thing by just accepting his blood. They
were bonded now and if her memory served her correctly, they were practically
mates. All they had to do was consummate their union and they would become one.
Just thinking of being close to the hanyou, being intimate with him, made her
body throb with warmth and she shook her black head, trying to rid herself of
the images.
Inuyasha stood on top of
the snow capped mountain and looked at the clear blue sky. He wanted to howl to
the gods that he had been accepted. Not loved or cared for, but accepted by Her.
He could hear her soft voice whisper her thank you, over and over again. He
found a place on a rock and he sat down, closing his eyes and suddenly he could
feel a presence.
-
Kikyo? He whispered and opened his eyes and saw his first
mate stand there with a gentle smile on her lips.
-
Inuyasha, my beloved…. I am happy for you, she said as her
ghostly hand reached out to touch his face.
-
Kikyo…., Inuyasha felt tears come to life and roll down his
cheek as his first love spoke to him.
-
That girl, she’s perfect for you. I can feel a strength in
her that I never had. She will prove to be a good mate and a good mother to your
future children. I will leave now and rest assure that you have my blessing my
beloved Inuyasha. Take good care of her, you deserve to be happy, said the
spirit and left him after kissing his forehead.
Inuyasha closed his eyes
and opened them again to see a beautiful necklace made of seashells in his lap.
-
Thank you Kikyo, he whispered to the skies before he began to
descend down the mountain to be with Sango.
Finally, after years of
sorrow and despair he was able to be happy with a woman who had a will to live
and a strength to keep up with him. He would give the necklace to her as a token
of his devotion to her.
Sango sat at the foot of
the stairs that led up to the monastery. She could feel when Inuyasha came
closer and she closed her eyes, just relishing the feel of belonging to
somebody. And this somebody was a very handsome hanyou with silver hair, golden
eyes and puppy ears.
-
Sango? he whispered her name and it sent thrills of well
being up and down her spine and she turned her head and saw him stand behind
her.
-
Yes?
-
Do you accept me? he asked.
Sango smiled and nodded.
He sat down next to her and he gave her something. She looked at it and was
amazed to see the seashell necklace. She blinked a few times before looking at
him again.
-
Something strange happened up on the mountain, he began
quietly.
-
You do not have to tell if you do not want to Inuyasha, said
Sango.
-
But I do want to tell you. I don’t want to have any secrets
from you. I made a bond between us, I do not know why I did it. At first I
thought it was because I wanted to cheat those damn wolves of their victory. I
am sure that Miroku had told you about what happened with my last woman? said
Inuyasha and looked at the sky.
-
Yes, he told me that she choose a full blooded wolf demon
over you, said Sango truthfully.
-
And you know what happened to my first mate? She died while
giving birth to our first born child, said Inuyasha, still looking at the skies.
But he could see her nod in the corner of his eyes. – When I was up at the
mountain, Kikyo came to visit me, she told me that she was happy that I had
found you. She wanted me to give this to you, as a gift, as a blessing.
Sango smiled and nodded
again as she looked at the beautiful necklace. She would carry it with pride.
-
Would you like to help me put it on? asked Sango.
Inuyasha didn’t say
anything, but he took the necklace and put it around Sango’s neck and fastened
it. It was a perfect match he decided as he watched form around her neck. He
looked at her and she smiled and he felt his heart began to beat faster again.
What was it with her and her soft smiles that made him want to howl to the
skies? She took his clawed hand and held it tightly.
-
I am glad that you gave me your blood Inuyasha, said Sango as
the warmth of his hand seeped into her skin.
-
Why?
-
Because if you had not, then I would never had met this
wonderful man I see before me now, said Sango and leaned against his shoulder.
And she did it again. She
reached into the depths of his soul and told him just things he had longed to
hear from someone. He couldn’t answer her, instead he rested his chin on top of
her head as his arm went around her and he tucked her closer. No words were
needed. Their souls did the talking for them.
On top of the stairs
stood three monks with smiles on their lips. Their friend the hanyou had found
his way back to life. They turned around and continued with their duties.
=¨¨¨¨ ♥ ¨¨¨¨=
A few weeks passed.
Inuyasha and Sango grew closer for every day. To the outsider, they would look
like a pair of very good friends. But Miroku knew better. Underneath the cool
surface a cauldron of emotions was boiling. The small touches they gave each
other, the looks in their eyes, the air practically sparkled as they sat close
during dinner. Miroku was so happy for his friends that he wanted to celebrate
it, but the ascetic monks would not hear of it. It was enough that they let the
couple live on the holy grounds of the mountain. No carnal indulgence here…
But as the summer turned
into autumn something began to happen. They got disturbing news from pilgrims
that came to the monastery. A pack of wolves, lead by a fast moving alpha male
and a human black miko, were heading towards the holy mountain. They slaughtered
anybody who dared stand in they way. The miko was the worst, her arrows could
destroy a village with its powers. Sango and Inuyasha looked at each other and
Miroku was no fool either. They knew who it was.
Inuyasha could feel his
heart turn to stone just hearing about the miko. “Kagome, so you have turned
to the black side of your calling? But you will not harm my friends.” he
thought as he gripped his sword with is right hand. He relaxed a bit when he
felt Sango’s soft hand on his shoulder, her closeness gave his strength.
-
We will not let them come close to the mountain, said
Inuyasha. – We will protect it with our very lives.
-
I will come with you, said Miroku and stood next to the pair.
-
No, you will stay here and protect the monks, said Inuyasha,
but he knew by the fierce look in the monk’s blue eyes that he would not back
down from his decision this time.
Sango just smiled and
grabbed her giant boomerang she had forged from a large youkai bone. It was a
deadly weapon for long range attacks, and together with her swords, she was a
prominent enemy.
Inuyasha nodded as he put
his nose to the air. The wolf pack was not far off now. They would probably
reach the mountain within a few hours. He ordered the other monks to find
shelter, in case they failed to protect them.
=¨¨¨¨ ♥ ¨¨¨¨=
Sango took the first
position; she could catch the wolves off guard by just being alive. She saw a
black haired demon come first and she recognized him. He was the one who had
kicked her several times as she was on the ground, the wolf prince and his pack
was going to pay for their crimes. Sango felt her grip tighten on her boomerang.
She saw a woman dressed in a miko’s traditional clothes, only that they were not
white and red, no; this woman was dressed in black and brown. Sango could feel
the hatred that fed the young woman’s anger. Inwardly the taijya shuddered, but
she refused to let it up to the surface. She raised her boomerang over her head.
-
Yo! Dirtbags!!
she shouted as she threw the boomerang towards them, they barely got the chance
to dodge it as it came right between them.
Sango smirked as their
attention was drawn to her, totally missing the fact that her weapon just
beheaded two members of the wolf pack.
Kouga and his mate Kagome
saw the woman dressed as a demon slayer. Kouga was very frustrated over the fact
that the bitch was still alive. He had been sure that he had left her for dead
all those weeks ago. But it looked like her hellish cat was gone for good. He
smirked but the smirk was cut short as the smell of blood hit his nose. He shot
a glance over his shoulder and saw two pack brothers lying on the ground, their
heads rolling away from their bodies. His eyes bled over to red as he turned his
attention back to the female slayer, he ducked when the giant boomerang came
swishing back to her hand. His mate raised her bow and aimed an arrow towards
the bitch.
But when Kagome had fired
off her arrow it was knocked out of its course by a monk’s staff. Another figure
emerged next to the taijya. A monk, and Kagome hissed when she felt his houriki.
This man was dangerous to her and her dark power. But there was something else,
something even more pure, something that made her dark soul want to run away in
horror.
-
Kouga, something’s off, she said with out taking her dark
eyes away from the duo in front of them.
-
Don’t worry, we’ll take them, said Kouga with a confident
smile and shouted to his pack to move forward.
But Kagome couldn’t shake
off that odd feeling that something was about to happen.
Miroku put his staff into
the earth and drew his power from the Earth Mother herself and he formed a
shield in front of him and Sango. Inuyasha stood not far away from them, waiting
for the wolves and Kagome to come close enough so he could surprise them with
his father’s fang. The black miko Kagome was beyond any help, he could feel it.
Her mate, the alpha wolf, had destroyed what any innocence she could have had in
her heart. He saw Sango throw her boomerang again and she took two more wolves,
making the leader growl in anger. Then it hit Miroku, this slayer was not afraid
of the wolves, she were playing with them. He could see the taunting smile on
her lips as she caught her odd weapon just to throw it away again. He reached
into his dark blue robe and fished out some wards and he infused them with his
holy power, the houriki. And as wolf attacked from the flank he threw them
towards him. The wards were plastered onto the demon’s body and it made him howl
in pain before turning to dust.
Kouga saw one after
another of his pack disintegrate by that damn monk or be cut in half by the
bitch’s boomerang. His mate, whose arrows had dusted villages, was useless
against the monk’s holy power. Kouga launched himself towards the duo but was
thrown back when he hit the shield. The slayer just smiled evilly as she looked
at the wolf and his mate. That made Kouga furious and he launched towards them
again.
Sango began to laugh as
she saw the wolf make several attempts on breaking through Miroku’s holy shield.
-
We have saved you for our guest today, said Sango with a soft
feminine voice she barely recognized has her own.
-
Bitch! spat Kagome.
-
Hmm, let me see… why yes… I am a bitch, said Sango.
-
Huh? was Kouga’s intelligent answer.
-
As the matter of fact – I am Inuyasha’s bitch!
-
Inuyasha? breathed Kagome and Sango could see the wench pale
noticeable.
-
You’re mated to the dog-turd? snorted Kouga as he raised his
claws to try and shatter the shield with them.
-
He saved my life after you thought you hade done me in wolf,
said Sango as she made a swoop with the end of her boomerang, making Kouga jump
back a bit. That thing was razor sharp and could easily kill him if she too
close.
-
Inuyasha, you are mated to that dirty hanyou? You should be
ashamed of your self, said Kagome and smirked. She saw the slayer’s eyes glimmer
dangerously.
But Sango didn’t answer
Kagome’s question, she saw Inuyasha come out of the forest behind Kouga and
Kagome. His eyes glowed red and she knew that her mate’s demon blood was boiling
for revenge. And she had no qualms of letting him have it.
-
Sorry guys, but you are on your own now. Remember before you
die – you would have stayed away, because this is the end of the line for you,
said Sango and turned around and walked away with Miroku at her side.
Miroku heard them curse,
telling them to come back and fight and he turned around.
-
Your fight is not with us, you will be fighting him! said
Miroku and pointed towards the transformed hanyou.
He saw the wolf and his
mate turn around to see what he was pointing at.
Kagome felt her once pure
heart shiver as she saw the half demon that had asked her to be his mate a long
time ago. The aura around him was that of a full blooded demon. The fury of his
anger seemed to vibrate through the chilly autumn air. For a moment she
regretted her decision to go with Kouga and be his mate instead. Just think of
what she and Inuyasha could have accomplished. The half demon was so much
stronger than the wolf. Perhaps it was not too late.
-
Inuyasha-kun, she purred seductively.
But he answered her with
a ferocious growl. He was instincts driven now, they had threatened his mate and
his odd pack and now they were going to pay the prize. He didn’t even hear the
odd tone of the woman in front of him. All she was to him now was an object he
would kill to protect his pack and mate.
Kouga was furious, Kagome
had turned on him. She was flirting with that damn hanyou. He growled and lashed
out with his lethal claws towards Kagome, killing her without a thought. If he
could not have her, nobody would. But he didn’t have time to enjoy his revenge;
he was run through by a giant sword blade. His cold blue eyes med dark red
glowing ones.
-
You should have stayed in your territory wolf, growled
Inuyasha as he twisted his sword in the wolf’s stomach, making Kouga howl in
pain. – Now you will meet your fate in hell!
And with that Inuyasha
pulled out his sword and made a clean sweep and cut off his head. He looked at
the bodies and snorted before turning his gaze towards the edge of the clearing.
He saw Sango stand there alone. His mate.
Sango could feel the
connection between her and Inuyasha and she fell down to her knees, exposing her
neck to her demonic driven mate. The blood bond was what kept her alive at the
moment and she knew it. She had suspected that Inuyasha demon blood would take
over when his mate was threatened. But she had also feared that he would not be
able to fight against Kagome. How peculiar the fate works sometimes. Kagome had
been killed by the very man she had abandoned Inuyasha for. Inuyasha had gotten
his revenge on the demon who stole his mate to be and at the same time he got
revenge on the one who had almost killed Sango.
But his demon blood
didn’t want to withdraw, not just yet and seeing Sango in such a submissive
position made him boil. He needed to mark her, claim her, dominate her. He
growled darkly and put his sword away. He stalked her like he would a prey. He
sniffed the air, trying to determine what she was thinking about and he growled
even lower as his nostrils were filled by a womanly perfume. Her arousal. His
mate’s arousal. He made dash at her and picked her up and pushed his nose into
her neck as he ran through the forest to find a secluded nesting place. She
silently did all the things he asked her of, she was a good and true bitch. He
settled down on a small hill not far away from the holy mountain of Ginrei. He
put his nose against her neck again, inhaling her pure and womanly scent.
Sango shivered as he
purred against her skin, the weeks of gentle touching, the looks they had
shared, everything converged into a lust and a need to mate with each other. The
blood bond between them craved that they should mate and Sango didn’t want to
object to that. She let out a moan as his claws raked down her back, shredding
her slayer suit effectively. Her fingers found the sash in his haori and she
untied it and he helped her remove the red fire rat he wore. He was soon as
naked as she was and she marvelled at the beauty of her hanyou.
-
Inuyasha, she mewled as he began to lick the column of her
neck.
-
My bitch, he mused with his dark voice as his mouth claimed
hers in a heated kiss.
“Gods, yes… Your
bitch…” she thought as his
tongue found hers to play with.
Inuyasha kissed her
deeply as his hands moved over her body, finding every pleasure point he could
lay his claws on. He then began to lick her, he licked every inch of her heated
skin. He moved around her, pushing his growing erection against her soft bottom,
making her hiss out in pleasure. He licked the base of her neck, teasing her
with gentle nips of his fangs. He licked her down the spine, squeezing her soft
rounded ass before moving to lick down her legs. He could feel her tremble; her
breathing was becoming more erratic by each tongue covered inch. She moved to
stand with her legs more parted to give her better balance but also to grant him
better access to that very spot he wanted to bury himself in. He could see milky
white drops of her honey glistening in her bush and he licked his lips before
his tongue snaked out to taste her.
Sango screamed as
Inuyasha’s hot breath brushed over her womanhood and when his tongue licked the
seam of her nether lips she was lost. She almost fell forward as the sensations
washed over her. Her legs throbbed and she placed her hands on Inuyasha’s
shoulders to keep herself upright.
Inuyasha chuckled and
took one last lick of her sex before standing up. He kissed her soft lips again,
letting her taste her own bitter juices as he moved them to the ground. His
demon blood began to settle back and he was no longer instincts driven; only
driven by the fact that he had his willing blood bonded mate in his arms. He sat
down with his back against a tree and moved Sango to straddle his legs. He
looked into her beautiful green eyes and he smiled.
-
My Sango, he said and kissed her again before she could
answer him.
Sango moved her hands
down between their bodies and caressed his thick shaft. The dark moan he let out
as her finger moved over the tip of his length made her feel good and brave. She
moved up a bit and guided him into her body. She hissed in pleasure as he
stretched the walls of her womanhood. “So this is what its like to make
love…” she thought as he fully was sheathed within her warmth.
Inuyasha growled as Sango
engulfed him with her warmth. His hands went around and cupped her soft behind
and they sat still just savouring the completion of their blood bond. Their eyes
were locked and they smiled. They had all the time in the world now. Sango put
her arms around his neck and she closed the space between them and kissed him,
the movement made his manhood pull out a bit and she gasped in surprise as he
touched pleasure spots within her tight canal.
Inuyasha closed his eyes
and purred as her inner walls rippled over his shaft. His hold of her behind
tightened and he helped her move up and down his shaft. Even though she was on
top of him, it was him that dominated their mating. He could feel her honey coat
his member and it felt so good. He could stay buried inside her forever.
-
Inuyashaaaa!! She cried as his claws raked over her tush.
-
Mmm, mate, ride me, ride me, he coaxed her as he made her go
faster. The need to spill his seed inside her grew.
Sango felt something
collapse in her and she screamed out his name. At the same time Inuyasha took
his opportunity and latched his fangs into her neck, biting down hard enough to
break her skin. Now every demon with a good nose would now to whom she belonged.
Sango fell forward,
pressing her face into his neck as she came down from her peak. She could feel
his heart beat in sync with her own and she smiled tiredly. Finally, after weeks
of sexual tension and the need of be with him completely… finally she was his.
And he was hers.
Inuyasha could feel her
tired smile against his throat and he purred for her and only her. He found his
haori and put around her to keep her from getting cold. The autumn air was
turning a bit chilly and he wanted them to get back to the monastery. He would
build them a hut of their own at the base of the mountain, but first he just
wanted to be close to her. He looked up to the skies and was sure he saw Kikyo
smile down at them.

Miroku strolled over the
yard towards the shrine. He entered it and walked over to the small stone that
guarded the little two tail cat’s burial ground. He put a myrrh stick in the
ground and lit it. “Your mistress Sango has found love and happiness. And my
friend Inuyasha has taken her as his mate. They will be very happy together I am
sure and I know that you will have a lot of children running around in your
shrine soon. Something very beautiful have been created today and I will always
remember it.” thought the monk and he was sure he could hear a soft mewl
coming from the air around him. The spirit of the fire cat was still in the
shrine, guarding them from evil. Miroku smiled and rose to his feet. Something
beautiful indeed.
THE END!!
