Chapter 26 - Yeah, I liked the speedo, too

Kagome woke the next morning to find that she and Inuyasha were the only ones there. �I wonder where everyone is?�, she thought, then blushed when she thought about why they had probably not returned last night. She started to unwrap herself from Inuyasha�s embrace so she could go outside to relieve herself, but soon found that he wasn�t going to willingly let her go. �Inuyasha?�, she turned slightly to look at him. �Is he still asleep?�, she thought incredulously. �Inuyasha.�, she called, a little more loudly this time. He nuzzled her neck, now seeming to be a little more awake and squeezed her to him tightly.
�Inuyasha, I need to get up.�, she said with a little urgency, because she needed to go and relieve herself really, really bad.
�No.�, he mumbled, burying his face under her hair.
Kagome wiggled uncomfortably, �I need to go outside to relive myself.�
�I don�t care, I�m not letting go.�, he said stubbornly.
�And, what if I can�t hold it, and pee on you.�, Kagome said in exasperation.
Inuyasha actually giggled at that thought, but continued to hug her to him tightly. Kagome smiled in spite of her self, and hugged him back. She managed to nudge his face from her neck with her chin, so she could look him in the eyes.
�Inuyasha, I don�t regret last night, and I hope you don�t either. I think that we were being silly, trying to fight it, and if I had been thinking about it, I would have felt how much you wanted me through our bond. I guess that I was just afraid to let you love me because I thought that I was Kikyou to you.�
Inuyasha�s eyes grew wide, he had no idea, �You thought you were�that I didn�t�?!� He drew her close again and buried his face back into her neck. �Oh, Kagome. How can you not know how much I love you.�, he practically sobbed. Kagome closed her eyes and hugged him back. Inuyasha suddenly realized that Kagome really didn�t know how bonding worked, and pulled back to look at her again. �I have always loved you, Kagome. The bond only works when those involved truly, and honestly love each other.�
Now it was Kagome�s turn to look shocked. �Oh, Inuyasha!�, she hugged him again. �I wish I had known�I wouldn�t have teased you like that if I knew that you really did want me from the start.�, she said guiltily. Inuyasha chuckled, then winked at her playfully. �It was worth it to see you in that bikini.�, he said, then let her up so she could go outside. Kagome chuckled too, then threw on an oversized shirt and made a bee-line for the door.

�Hey, guys!�, Kagome exclaimed when she saw Sango, Miroku, and Shippou. She and Inuyasha were headed for the river to bathe, wearing their new swimwear, and carrying towels. Nobody remembered to respond to her joyful greeting, because they were too busy staring at the approaching couple. They couldn�t believe, that after everything that had happened during the past couple days, those two would want to wear the skimpy clothing around each other again. The newly mated couple continued on down the path, too absorbed in their own deliriously happy little world to notice their companions� shocked expressions.
After they were gone, Shippou was the first one to snap out of it. �Yay! Lets go swimming!�. Sango looked over at Miroku, then shrugged and went to get their bathing suits.

Inuyasha and Kagome made it to about knee deep in the river before they were all over each other again. Kagome looked down and smirked when she noticed that not only was Inuyasha hard, but his speedo wasn�t quite enough to cover it when he was that excited. His erection was sticking quite a ways out of the top of the skimpy piece of red material, and she reached down and gently ran her fingers up and down the part that was exposed. Inuyasha moaned, then leaned down to kiss her as he undid the tie that held her bikini top up on her neck. He freed her breasts, then massaged them with his hands, as she continued to stroke him.
�CANNONBALL!!!�

*Splash*

�WHAT THE HELL!�, Inuyasha shouted as a wave of cold water splashed him and Kagome.
�SHIPPOU!�, Kagome screamed, as she hurriedly tied her bikini top back on. She looked over to the bank to find Sango and Miroku pointedly looking away from them, then back down to her mate�s bulge, which although it wasn�t still sticking out of the speedo, was still quite obvious. She grabbed Inuyasha�s hand, and started dragging him further into the river as fast as she could. Inuyasha stopped struggling to get to the rambunctious kit when he noticed his mate�s intent. He scooped her up and quickly sped off into the woods on the other side of the river.
Miroku and Sango smirked, then silently slipped into the woods behind them, having decided that Inuyasha and Kagome actually had a pretty good idea.
Shippou continued to play noisily in the water until all of the adults had left, then he flopped down on the shore. �Okay, you can come out now.�, he called, and was soon accompanied by the tiny flea youkai.
�Leave it to a little kid to do an old man�s dirty work. Huh?�, Shippou smirked at the flea.
Myoga sighed, �Yes, Shippou. I know, and I�m sorry. It�s just�Siah was supposed to have created the mood�and, and�I�just��
�Yeah, yeah. I know. You had no clue how to get them to mate.�
Myoga nodded and blushed. �I must say, I loved the way you got the monk and the slayer to leave them alone.�
Shippou chuckled, remembering how the monk had squirmed when he started telling him how to have sex. �You think they�ll be alright now, Myoga?�
�Yes. Well done, Shippou.�
