A Darkening Of One's Soul

Kagome,after watching the retreating back of Sesshomeru was reminded of the darker time's in her time without that of Inuyasha,and her time spent with Meru and Ash. Now knowing what she hadn't before she had passed through to reunite with her hanyou ,Inuyasha, and even with taking in the words that Meru had stated in the scroll addressed to her ,and she felt it gave her no comfort from the pain of what she knew happened after she disappeared from this time

'To forget everything she came to know as truth because after she returned what happened didn't exist'

'Ha! Easier said than done, no matter what happens I have to live with it.'Kagome mocked.

The more she held those thoughts of remorse ,regret, and torment for what she has allowed to happen for in her present state everything that had come to pass was because she ,herself had allowed herself to be taken ,and in result cause a domino effect to ripple it's way through time to make every horrid moment following happen. Unbeknownst to her a barrier began wrapping itself around her as the violent sparks whipped themselves within the surface surrounding her on the floor of her bed chamber.

Luckily she remembered to give Sesshomeru the scroll to him with the ones that Inuyasha had given her hoping that he would find, because at this time with her raging emotions she couldn't control herself around anyone now,and Kagome was afraid of whom she'd would strike if they made their presence now with her in this compromised state. As now she felt her body start to crumble while the parts that made her began to split apart.

Reaching up to her neck as she felt where Ash's mark used to be now knowing that once she noticed it's presence dissolved once she passed into the barrier into this time. Kagome still found a faint residual of his old presence and for now it's whispered hums quivered lightly under her fingertips. Tears fell from her closed eyes in defeat ,and her current fear flooding her as the images flashed within her brain.

'If they knew what had happened before I returned would they forgive me,could I even forgive myself ' Kagome thought repeatedly in a loop of returning emotions

Sesshomeru stood outside her room's door sensing a sudden flicker of her heavily drenched Jyaki emerging to overtake the Miko's peaceful aura,and waited while for a time for it to settle. Leaning up against the one side of the door, Sesshomeru felt the presence get more prevalent in it's urge to what felt like attacking a intruder,but he sensed nothing but her aura within the room. This knowledge in his thoughts meant to lead to nothing good,and this he was sure of,as Sesshomeru roughly ran his fingers through his silver locks in frustration,and finishing with the quick wipe of his brow of the heat of the pressure making itself known from under the door.

When he noticed another scroll unlike the others falling to the ground slightly at the tip of his black booted foot laid another scroll with a scroll similar to his own ,and complimented with a like leather cord familiar with his liking. With a raised brow , the lord stooped down to pick up the weathered scroll given to him by the miko behind the presently closed door behind him. Noticing that with a quick brush of his senses that her aura and Jyaki had finally settled before turning in the opposite direction in order to read the scroll on the way to his brother. Once his eyes fell on the words displayed on the scroll unveiled from its leather cord, the Inu Youkai paused ,finding that he wasn't able to move from his spot. What he read shocked him but it scared him as well with the renewed beginning with his brother, the fondness of the miko,and knew now what would've had happened after she disappeared if she wasn't able to return.

Sesshomeru ,also knew with that knowledge so fresh in the Miko's mind that it was more that she was dealing with more than he thought,and with almost certainly he mused that it explained the Miko's current predicament. It was also with dire need that in regards to the miko herself was concerned would have to be taken with the greatest care .If not by Meru's words that things could end up the very same or worse, the girl's soul would darken leaving her defenseless to the power of the jewel,for its complete control,and redering her useless to cleanse it. Although like many others the jewel possessed with the darkness within their soul it would control them to the evil desires of the dark side of the jewel,adding that she is it's guardian,a priestess no less, with apart of her being that of a demon heritage,and lastly and most important if her soul should fall to darkness, may Buddha help them all because it would be a force unrivaled ,one that would destroy everything in its path,with nobody being able to stop it.

Lord Sesshomeru ,

I have written word of advisement and warning for the Miko that we had hoped has returned under your care. If not see that you do along with that of her brother,her intended mate,because it would be essential for what she has seen,even though when she came back that flow of time has seized to exist ,but still reigns fresh in the girls mind . This train of thoughts from it will consume her, and in result pull on her soul towards the darkness that she feels in her heart. In a way if I am not mistaken,Kagome blames herself for what had gone so terribly wrong in effort to follow the direction, interruption had ensued over the flow of time.

Believe me it wasn't pretty and I tried to prevent it's knowledge from it bleeding it way into hers,by blocking her discovery but if my calculations are correct her knowledge of what would've been unknown to her was Naraku's doing as Kikyo had joined Naraku ,telling him that she doesn't exist in this time,and gave start to the flow of time to be altered before Kagome returned. I will give you very little insight on what happened in the altered reality ,only to help you with the miko and that is because in truth besides that none of what happened matters,when she came back all that was gone.

Now in short let me express to you what had happened after she was brought into the present .Inuyasha went into a rage and much less destroyed himself because not being able to contact his mate in his delusional state but he had just at the time Kagome hadn't gotten it yet. After his death Kagome had came back through the well dying with a newborn hanyou and between Midoriko and Kagome enforced that I or you cared for the child later to be named Ash. Because of the way that she had passed ,a burst of falling light blowing in the windlike burning ash,and it was part of his fathers name. I or you raised him with Rin which later became his intended but I didn't know that until after she died.

We met up with Sango and Miroku's child after his parents passed Roku, from his Windtunnel and her depression. Ash almost took the same fate as his father after the loss of Rin which I did try with work and outings with Roku it hadn't worked all to well except the numbing of alcohol. Well this bring me to where Kagome was returned into her time and due to something going wrong sending her back had a serious effects on her ability to control her miko powers ,and it didn't help that she tried to numb with with liquor fouund in her house to have her wandering in a dazed trance .This would be the situation that brought the involvement of me, the acknowledgement of Kagome returning ,and due to unfortunate circumstances Kagome and Ash met .

Kagome was raped in Ash's state of drunkenness and transformation state had confused her with Rin because after Inuyasha died Rin to help their son manage wore the outfits often that carried that faint scent of Kagome ,so even though Kagome had more of one scent that once mixed with Rins ,Ash confused it to be apart of the illusion that was taunting him for years as Kikyo had with Inuyasha. Before either of them knew Ash took Kagome as his mate and overtime they did ended up being closer but not in the way you think , as close friends. In time they realized it at least Ash did ,she did as well but after she left. Though Ash only treated her as they mom he never knew and sought a relationship with her because in truth outside of just being born Ash never met her not really .Anyway whomever that you trust with this information ,let it be few ,and know that this fate no longer exists ..As she is now returned to the place where she belongs to end it and to allow time to run how it was intended to be.. Also be very watchful over her when it comes to anyone who sides with Naraku,especially Kikyo.
