Chapter 27 - The Fangs

Kagome hummed along to the Christmas carols playing on the radio while she dusted the living room. Spotting a cobweb in the corner, she stretched up on her toes and reached for it with her duster. Just as she was about to successfully remove the obstacle to her pristine room, she lost her balance and bumped into the tree. The miko cursed and dropped the duster just in time to catch the angel that had, moments before, been perched at the top. The angel hadn't been cheap, and she would have been devastated had she broken it.
Seconds later, having heard her exclamation and the sound of the ornaments clanging against one another, Sesshoumaru appeared, worried that she somehow injured herself. "What happened?" he asked, confused by how she stood with one hand pressed to her racing heart while she held the angel tree topper in the other. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine," she replied. "I just knocked the angel down trying to get that cobweb up there and barely caught it. I should have cleaned before we put the tree up. I don't know how I didn't see it before. Now I'm going to have to drag out the stepstool and put it back."
Sesshoumaru looked her over and purred softly. She looked beautiful when she was frustrated. Sure, she was always beautiful, but there was something about the way she furrowed her brow that made her more attractive than usual. Then again, maybe it was the outfit. She was wearing the tiniest pair of shorts she owned, along with an equally small tank top. She only wore them when she cleaned, which made cleaning day one of his favorites, and he was thankful she had been busy all morning so he was home to witness it.

"Perhaps I can be of assistance," he offered, his tone seductive.
"Oh?"
Before she knew what was happening, the taiyoukai had scooped her up and set her on his shoulders.
"Well, this will certainly work," she said with a laugh. "But I need my duster!"
"Just put the angel on the tree," he said playfully. He waited until she did just that before crouching and bending forward to allow her to collect the fallen duster, holding her weight at such an odd angle easily, once again demonstrating his strength. Kagome easily removed the cobweb that had started the whole mess, only to discover that Sesshoumaru wasn't ready to let her down.

He had been thinking about her reaction to his fangs endlessly, and he was dying to push it a little further. Just a tiny nip was nothing compared to what he wanted to do. The scent of her body always excited him, and he decided now was the time to give it a try. He turned his head just slightly, his hands clinging to her hips, and nibbled at her inner thigh. When she moaned, he was encouraged, and bit down a bit harder. She moaned louder and quickly found herself on the couch with an eager taiyoukai kneeling before her, his face between her legs.
She had been waiting for this forever. The feel of his fangs grazing her skin, biting down with just enough pressure for her to feel it without him breaking the skin was exquisite. It wasn't long until he stripped her down and began dragging his fangs along her sweet flesh in all the areas he ached to do so for so long. When he reached her throat she tilted her head, giving him free access to the most vulnerable part of her body. He could have died happy at that moment.
That was one more thing to check off his list. His sweet miko loved his fangs and trusted him with her very life, even though he didn't deserve her trust at all.
