Sinus surgery is tomorrow, Wednesday the 26th and while the recovery is supposed to be easy, I expect more than a few headaches in the coming days, so don’t be surprised if updates take a while. Ch 29 of this fic is already half finished, though, so it might not be so bad.
Chapter 28 – Of the Highest QualityInuyasha stepped through the open archway and towards the fire, feeling as the barrier went up behind him. Not finding them in the main room, he wondered where Kagome and Sesshoumaru were. He wouldn’t be surprised in the least to find them still in the hot spring. The miko had always enjoyed a long soak and after the morning they had, she deserved that and whatever else she might want. No matter how many times it might happen again, he knew he would never forget how it felt this first time. The hunt, the chase, and the incredible sex were all spectacular, but beyond that, and even more important, was hearing her say just how much she trusted them, even when they were on the very edge, their control frayed until they were holding on by a thread. She trusted them even when they lost control entirely. The hanyou knelt and set down his catch and the fruit he found to accompany the fish. Kagome really needed to eat, and he wasn’t going to be comfortable until he saw it happen. He smiled at the thought. He had always been concerned about her safety and well-being, about her comfort and her happiness. He kept those feelings mostly hidden though, because he was afraid to show the miko how much he truly cared, that he loved her with all his heart and soul, fearing, and fully expecting, her rejection. He didn’t have to worry about that now. He could fuss over her as much as he wanted, and it would be perfectly acceptable because she would be his mate.Inuyasha was determined to stay positive. Things had been getting progressively better between him and his brother, and Kagome knew it. Kagome knew that they were trying, but also that it was becoming easier and more natural for them. She was going to say yes. He knew it with his heart, even though there was a twisted knot of nervousness residing in the pit of his stomach. She couldn’t say no. She couldn’t turn them down, because everything would fall apart without her. She promised both or neither, and if she chose neither, then she would be sure to leave them and return to her era for good, because staying would hurt too much. That wouldn’t be an issue, though, because she would choose them. It was in her eyes and she gave so much away with those beautiful, ocean blue orbs. She wanted to say yes and eventually, hopefully sooner rather than later, she would.A low moan caught his attention and broke him out of his thoughts. Curiosity brought him to his feet, and he followed his ears into the bedroom, amused by what he found. Kagome was laid out in the middle of the large bed, her body wrapped loosely in one of Sesshoumaru’s haori. Her left leg was bent, with her foot tucked under her right knee, and her right foot was planted in the taiyoukai’s lap. There he was, the aristocratic assassin himself, giving a small human woman a foot rub as if it were perfectly normal. He still hadn’t fully gotten used to seeing his brother in such domestic situations, and Inuyasha couldn’t hold back the snicker that escaped him. Both bright blue and molten gold eyes turned to look at him, and the miko smiled softly. “What’s so funny?” she asked, though she had a sneaking suspicion that it had something to do with the demon currently holding her foot.“A foot rub, man? Really?”“Is there something wrong with ensuring the comfort of the woman I will make my mate?”“Well, no,” the hanyou stammered. “I just wasn’t…”Sesshoumaru smirked. “I know well the value of a happy mate, Inuyasha,” he said, immediately noticing the way Kagome tensed. The taiyoukai fought down the desire to shake his head and continued, knowing that his next words would soothe any fears his last had placed in her head. Did she really think he was referring to himself, believing he had been mated before? She should know better. “I have witnessed a great many males that do not appropriately attend to the needs of their mates, who do not treat them as if they are treasured. The females quickly become bitter, and it is quite obvious that if one’s mate is unhappy, you will also become unhappy.”“Happy wife, happy life,” Kagome said softly, before continuing on with irritation in her voice. “Are you saying you’re rubbing my feet so I won’t be bitter and make you miserable?”“No, I am doing so because I care about your comfort and happiness.” He turned his focus to his sibling. “There is nothing beneath me, little brother, when it comes to Kagome. Yes, I could hire someone to give her a massage, and it might even be better than doing it myself, as I have no experience doing so, but it would not be as intimate. It would not clearly demonstrate my devotion. I refuse to place a wall of servants between us. She is mine, ours, to care for, and it is unwise to pass that responsibility on to others.”~Menage au Inu~After a restful afternoon and a night spent doing nothing more intimate than sleeping with their nude bodies entwined, as both brothers were certain Kagome could use a break, morning arrived. The new day brought with it an excited miko, who was thrilled to get out of their little den again, even though they had just done so the day before. She was looking forward to the variety of food they would have access to more than anything, while Sesshoumaru was intent on improving her wardrobe by having items resembling her usual garments custom-made with youkai fabrics. He fully expected it to be a struggle, but she had agreed the day before that she would allow him to purchase a few things for her. They ate a small breakfast, since Kagome fully intended on stuffing herself full of anything besides freshly hunted meat, plain veggies, and fruit. She was tired of roughing it, especially since she couldn’t even eat the items she usually brought from her era because she didn’t have any. Typically, she could snap herself out of the boredom of repetitive meals by snacking on chips or chocolate, but that wasn’t currently an option.According to the taiyoukai, the village wasn’t more than a half hour away walking at a leisurely pace. Both brothers were concerned that her legs might still be sore, but she assured them she was fine and that she could easily walk on her own. They set out together, a comfortable silence settling between them as each thought about what they might find at the market, as well as how things might go with their newly established relationship in public. Could the brothers get along with witnesses? Both Kagome and Inuyasha were quite curious about how the usually cold and emotionless Sesshoumaru would behave. Would he set himself apart from them or would he keep them close, allowing all the villagers to figure out the circumstances of their possible mating? Would he be affectionate, as he had always been with the miko? He had become even more so since their current mess began, as he grew more and more comfortable allowing both Kagome and his brother see him behave in such a way, and it would be awkward if he didn’t want to touch her at all.The more she thought about it, the more the miko worried about how this innocent little trip might affect everything they had, everything they had been working so very hard on. Not only that, but she was also concerned about being surrounded by so many youkai, knowing that humans in general wouldn’t be welcome in their village and their market. How was she supposed to act? She had no idea, especially because she didn’t know what Sesshoumaru would expect from her. Could she touch him? Would he tuck her safely under his arm as he often did as they walked together?Sure, she knew that Inuyasha wouldn’t give a damn what anyone thought about them and that he would happily make their relationship known. He wouldn’t shy away from public displays of affection. He would be there for her even if the taiyoukai wouldn’t, but Kagome knew that her heart would break if he pulled away from her, if he was embarrassed to be seen with her. He said that he desired for quite a while to take her through a village market, but words and actions were often very different things. Would he fall into old patterns and remain aloof, or would he proudly display his love for her?The trio had been walking for a good twenty minutes towards the smoke billowing up from the village fires in the distance before Sesshoumaru allowed his irritation to get the best of him. He turned and locked eyes with the miko, his head tilting to the side with curiosity. “I thought that you did not desire to trail behind this Sesshoumaru.” She had started out by his side, but as they grew closer and closer to their destination, she slowed, almost as if she were hiding herself behind him and Inuyasha. She looked like a servant, and he hated it. This would be the first impression she would make on demon society, and he wanted it to be a good one. If it were assumed that she was weak and submissive, she would never receive the respect that she truly deserved.“Huh?” she asked in surprise. She had been so lost in her worrying thoughts that she hadn’t noticed how she slowed her pace, her feet reacting on their own to her fears of what might happen when they arrived. She hadn’t been paying much attention to her surroundings and so she was confused, for a moment, about what he was saying.“Kagome, come here. Walk with me, not behind me.” He held out his left arm and, after a moment of hesitation, she slipped her right arm through his. “Why are you so nervous?”“Because! This is a demon village, isn’t it?” He nodded, and she sighed. “This is the first time we’ve ever been seen together in public, and they’re all going to be staring and judging.” Kagome almost said more. She almost voiced her concerns about how the taiyoukai would behave, but she held it back. Just his act of offering her his arm soothed a great deal of those fears. He obviously wasn’t against people seeing them touching if he intended to walk through the village as they now were, arms linked together.Inuyasha shook his head. He fully understood her worries, because he was thinking something along the same lines, at least as far as their being judged was concerned. The only difference was that he was used to being treated the way he generally was, the way he knew that the demons in the village would, and Kagome had little experience in drawing a crowd, except for where her wardrobe was concerned. The hanyou had never taken his pack through a demon village, for their own safety, and that meant that she had no frame of reference, had no idea how to behave in those surroundings.“You gotta hold your head up high, woman,” Inuyasha told her, catching her left hand and allowing their fingers to interlock naturally.“But I’m going to embarrass you,” Kagome told Sesshoumaru. The worry in her eyes twisted the taiyoukai’s stomach into knots, and he stopped completely, turning to face her.“You are the woman I wish to make my mate. You must act like it. You have nothing to fear and I have nothing to be embarrassed by. You are beautiful, powerful, intelligent, and kind and I want nothing more than to announce you as my Lady. Yes, they will judge, and you must not show them weakness. Show your strength.”“But, I,” she started, glancing to her left as Inuyasha brought her hand to his lips, gently kissing her knuckles in an effort to calm her nerves. “I don’t know how.”“Just act like him,” the hanyou replied while tilting his head towards his brother. “Be arrogant.”Sesshoumaru scowled. “Be proud,” he clarified. “Demand respect.”Inuyasha laughed softly. “Be arrogant.”The taiyoukai growled, and Kagome couldn’t help but laugh, relaxing as they argued in such a civil way that it gave her hope for the future. They almost seemed as if they were joking with one another. If they could get along all day with so many witnesses, then she would be able to believe that things would work out a great deal more. Once they returned to their pack, people would always be watching. Privacy would be difficult to come by, so they really needed to be able to handle disagreements in public. “You have to admit, you do come across as arrogant,” she told him with a smile.“Fine. Be arrogant,” he caved, the sparkle in her eyes washing away any irritation. Kagome and Inuyasha were right, of course. He did carry himself with a great deal of pride, while looking down upon those he considered inferior, which was basically the definition of the word. “You have, after all, captured the male that all the youkai females have desired to mate for centuries,” he continued with a smirk.Inuyasha chuckled again, and Sesshoumaru shot him a glare. “What?” When the elder brother didn’t reply, the hanyou only laughed more. “Rub it in, woman. Look at the prize I’ve got,” he told the miko with amusement.Kagome grinned. “You mean look at the two prizes I’ve got.”The hanyou lowered his head and looked away as his insecurity and self-hatred came flooding in. “I ain’t no prize, woman, and you know it.”It was the miko’s turn to frown, and she slipped away from Sesshoumaru to wrap her arm around the other male’s neck, pulling him down so that she could look straight into his eyes. “You are, Inuyasha. You’re mine, and you are definitely a prize. Between the two of you, I’m the luckiest woman alive.”“That’s got a hell of a lot more to do with him than me,” he muttered. “Really, you should be more nervous about being seen with me than what they think of you.”“They fuck with you,” she started, her voice full of conviction, “then they deal with me. You are amazing and wonderful and powerful and protective, and I love every bit of you.” She paused for a moment before reaching up and tweaking one furry white ear, the part of him that immediately announced his heritage to the world. “I really love these,” she murmured, allowing her fingertip to trace the shape of the other as she spoke. “What they think of you doesn’t matter. You will stand by us with your head held high, too.”“As I have acknowledged you as my brother, Inuyasha, you are fully deserving of respect, as well. You are an heir to the West. Hanyou or not, you are still stronger than every villager we will cross paths with. Remember that.”Kagome smirked. “Yeah, just remember: be arrogant.” The way the corners of his lips twitched upward for a moment at her words made her smile, and the miko pulled him closer for a kiss. As he sought to deepen the connection, she allowed it, his tongue slipping between her lips while his right hand found its way into her hair and his left slid down to grab her ass.Eventually, he pulled away just enough to allow her to breathe while still holding her close. “I fucking love you, Kagome,” he whispered against her cheek. It was amazing just how well she could chase away his insecurities with just a few words and the love in her eyes.“I love you, too, Inuyasha. Now, I know there’s an arrogant male in there somewhere. Let’s see him.”He sighed and nodded, his fingers slipping out of her hair to glide over her cheek and along the line of her jaw lovingly. “Fine. I’ll try if you will.”Kagome grinned and nodded. “Agreed.”Sesshoumaru offered his arm once again, and the miko took it. Her free hand reached for Inuyasha, who happily caught it with his own, and they continued along the dusty dirt road towards the village just becoming visible in the distance. It didn’t take long before they were approaching widely spaced huts that grew closer and close together as they went. Several children playing in the road in front of them noticed their presence and froze, their eyes widening, before they scattered like cockroaches, heading into their respective homes, the sight of which had Kagome laughing.“Even children are afraid of you.”“My reputation precedes me,” the taiyoukai replied.“You know, that’ll be a problem if we have kids.”“Pups,” he corrected reflexively, concerned by her comment. “And why will that be a problem?Kagome shook her head. “Because, parents aren’t going to want to let their kids play with ours. They’ll be afraid that they’ll offend you somehow or do something completely natural for children, like push one of ours down and make him cry because he scraped his knee.”“I would not harm a child,” he replied, his tone bordering on defensive.“I know that, but that doesn’t mean they won’t still worry about it,” she explained.“That is a bridge we shall cross when it becomes necessary,” Sesshoumaru told her. She was right, of course. He could definitely see parents keeping their children away from his. In fact, that very thing happened with Rin at the fortress. He always attributed it to demons not wanting their children associating with a human, but now that it was presented as a possibility, it made a lot of sense. Guilt filled him at the realization that his little girl likely had no friends because of him. At least now, when their packs merged, she would have Shippo as a constant companion.Kagome watched with interest as many demons noticed their presence and bowed low out of respect. After they had done so, several bolted, running along the road ahead of them. “What are they doing?”“Alerting the shopkeepers at the market of our approach,” Sesshoumaru explained.“Why?”“Because he’s a big spender,” Inuyasha replied before his brother got a chance to. “They’re hoping to make a fortune off him, so they’re going to bring out their best shit. I wouldn’t be surprised if they jacked up the prices, too.”“They would not dare attempt to swindle this Sesshoumaru,” the taiyoukai chimed in.“Maybe. Maybe not,” the hanyou said with a smirk, knowing he was pushing his brother’s buttons. He was feeling rather brave about the whole thing after the way they were interacting lately. It almost seemed as if the uptight taiyoukai was developing a sense of humor, something Inuyasha would never have thought possible. Getting along was a hell of a lot easier when he didn’t have to walk on eggshells, worried that he would spark Sesshoumaru’s temper and cause a fight that might make Kagome question their ability to remain in each other’s presence. The hanyou knew he sucked at watching his mouth, so not having to try so hard was a blessing.Soon, the three reached the center of the village and a bustling marketplace. Sesshoumaru guided Kagome towards the closest shop, looking over a table lined with extravagant jewelry, and tried to ignore her sigh off annoyance. He truly didn’t understand her position on his spending money on her. He had more than enough. He could buy every item offered by this jeweler and every other one at the entire market, and it still wouldn’t make a dent in his net worth. After a low bow of respect, the shopkeeper quickly began telling them about his various items, their materials, and the quality of the craftsmanship, hoping to make a sale. He complimented Kagome’s beauty, because, human or not, it was obvious that she was the Western Lord’s companion, as their arms were still linked. He wasn’t a stupid man. Women loved jewelry. Women loved being showered with gifts. Women were typically greedy and always looking for something better. Believing all of these things so completely, the jeweler was baffled by the general look of disinterest in her eyes. Suddenly, he was concerned that his items did not meet her expectations. Everything was made of the best and the purest materials. The gemstones were large and flawless. Each item was unique and carefully designed and crafted, each a work of art, and yet she behaved as if the items before her meant nothing. Had she seen better elsewhere?Inuyasha quickly grew bored, as he had no interest in jewelry. A glance to their left offered him the distraction he needed, and the hanyou leaned in close to Kagome, pressing a kiss just beneath her ear. He whispered that he would be at the next shop, and she nodded, her gaze never leaving the shopkeeper, whose eyes had just attempted to escape from his face. He looked back and forth between the miko and the taiyoukai, waiting for the explosion, waiting for the death of the human woman who was obviously not loyal to the male she stood beside.Sesshoumaru had to fight down the desire to laugh, as he couldn’t allow people to see him behaving so atypically. His reputation was important, and he had no desire to ruin it, not after the many centuries he spent establishing it. He did not laugh. He didn’t show any emotion at all. However, he knew that particular requirement was already dead in the water, because he would not hide his affection for the miko. He would touch her, kiss her, and compliment her… Anything he would do in private, he would do in public, because the last thing he wanted was to make her think he was embarrassed by her. She obviously already suffered from that particular delusion, and he would not feed her fears. The taiyoukai had known how the villagers would react when they first realized that his sweet miko was not his alone, that she also had an intimate relationship with his brother. He didn’t doubt that most of the villagers knew exactly who Inuyasha was. Between the signature red wardrobe and the powerful sword hanging at his side, he was easily identifiable. The similarities in their appearance, especially the hair and the eyes, would only serve to confirm their suspicions. Kagome, on the other hand… The chances of any of the youkai residing there knowing her identity as the Shikon Miko was slim. Nevertheless, they would know soon enough.Word of his new companions, of their interesting relationship, would spread far and wide. Yes, dual matings were common, but never in high society, where most matings were arranged politically. That, paired with the knowledge that he and his half-brother despised one another, and the news would move even faster than it would typically. Everyone in the village would know within the hour, the region within the day, and the whole of the Western Lands soon after. Not even a week would pass before all of Japan was aware that he had chosen a human miko as his desired mate, and that he was sharing her with his brother. Now, all he could do was hope she accepted them. She still hadn’t agreed to be theirs. She still had concerns about their ability to get along long term. If she turned them down and refused to be their mate, it would be humiliating. If the world learned that his desired female had rejected him, he would never live it down. His reputation would be ruined, but she was worth the risk. She wouldn’t tell them ‘no’. He refused to even consider that outcome as a possibility. Inuyasha studied the many short blades lined up on the table just beside the jeweler. He always wanted to get Kagome something, perhaps a dagger. Yes, she was actually quite good with her arrows after a great deal of practice, but a bow was a long-range weapon that would do her little good in close quarters. She needed some other kind of protection, another weapon, but he never had the means to purchase her anything. He often imagined her with a small blade strapped to her upper thigh and hidden by her skirt. Something about it turned him on to no end, and now that they were with Sesshoumaru, he might actually have the chance to see that little fantasy come to fruition. The hanyou’s hand was outstretched, just about to run his fingertip along the intricately carved patterns on the blade of one particular dagger, which he thought would be the perfect size for her small hands and short skirt, when the blacksmith stepped outside into the sunlight. He immediately spotted Inuyasha and snarled “You touch it, you bought it, and trust me, half-breed. You can’t afford it.” Having been inside working in his noisy shop, the man had completely missed not only the announcement that Lord Sesshoumaru was in the market, but also that the hanyou he just insulted was his companion. He had no idea just who he was talking to, and he didn’t much care.Kagome’s attention was split between the jeweler and her surroundings, as she really had no interest in jewelry, and she easily heard the blacksmith’s rude declaration. She slipped her arm out of Sesshoumaru’s and crossed the short distance between her two males to stand at Inuyasha’s side. Having also heard the comment, both the taiyoukai and the jeweler watched with great interest. Sesshoumaru was curious to see what his little miko intended to do, while the jeweler was gravely concerned for his neighbor’s safety. He easily put two and two together to realize that he was looking at a dual mating in the making from their behavior alone. A little more attention paid to their scents confirmed it. The female was covered in the scents of both brothers, both superficially and more intimately. The blacksmith, however, did not have nearly the same olfactory abilities, due to his species of youkai. He also tended to speak without thinking, and he never paid enough attention to his surroundings. He was in grave danger, and he had no idea.Standing close enough to Inuyasha to announce their level of intimacy to anyone with eyes, Kagome glared at the rude youkai that just insulted her hanyou with one of the slurs she hated the most. “What did you just say?” she asked, her tone full of warning, daring him to repeat the offensive phrase. The blacksmith slowly looked the miko up and down before letting out a bark-like laugh. “Not a bit surprised to see a mixed-blood abomination like you associating with a human, but you, girlie. You should know better. Even humans are bright enough to know to avoid filth like this. Slow, are you?”Inuyasha growled dangerously, his hand moving to rest on the hilt of his sword, but Kagome’s hand came up to sit gently on his elbow, silently telling him to stand down. Just as curious as his elder brother, the hanyou waited and watched to see what she intended.“Do you have any idea who I am?” she asked in a saccharine sweet voice.“Not a clue, and I don’t give a damn, either. I don’t have time to waste on weak little human women and disgusting creatures like this one,” he finished by gesturing towards Inuyasha.Kagome laughed. The sound was dangerous, making the hair on the back of the blacksmith’s neck stand on end, but he wasn’t bright enough to heed his body’s warning, just as he hadn’t picked up on any of the jeweler’s subtle attempts at catching his attention in the hopes of saving his life.“So, have you ever imagined what it would be like to die slowly?” she inquired as if such a question was perfectly acceptable conversation. “Because I really don’t think he’s going to be feeling very merciful after you’ve insulted both his brother and myself. You really should be more concerned about the identities of those around you.”Inuyasha nodded his agreement. “Yup. She’s kinda important, you idiot.”“How dare you…” he started, only to swallow back down any further words that had been rising up his throat as an oppressive aura rolled over him as the Lord of the Western Lands himself slowly approached. Sesshoumaru stopped just beside the miko, his displeased gaze burning into the blacksmith.“Tell him who you are,” the taiyoukai told her in his usual bland tone.Kagome couldn’t help the wicked smirk that spread across her face as she replied. “I’m the future Lady of the Western Lands,” the miko announced proudly as Sesshoumaru’s arm wrapped around her waist, his hand clinging to her hip possessively. “And you… You’re not that bright. Slow, are you?” she shot back at him, questioning his intelligence just as he had hers moments before.Sesshoumaru knew everyone was waiting for him to do something, but he couldn’t bring himself to care. He was too busy rejoicing after hearing her declare herself his mate to be. There was no maybe. There was no uncertainty. She proclaimed herself his future Lady so proudly, and hearing her threaten the fool’s life had been incredibly arousing.Inuyasha was pretty much in the same boat, as inside he was jumping for joy. Hearing a yes come from her so clearly was a weight off his shoulders. His heart felt like it was floating away, and he was unable to resist the desire to touch her. His hand crept up her back, caressing the back of her neck before his fingers burrowed into her hair. He very gently encouraged her to turn her head, and when she did, he kissed her heatedly, smirking at her low moan and the way she leaned towards him when he pulled back.“Was there something here that interested you, brother?” Sesshoumaru asked, uncertain at the moment how he would punish the blacksmith. While Kagome had suggested that he would kill the offending male slowly, he doubted that she really wanted such a thing. She wasn’t a fan of violence, but then she was a beautifully protective creature that could be vicious when the circumstances called for it.“I was thinking that Kagome should have a dagger, one that she could strap to her leg under her skirt. I mean, she’s awesome with her bow and arrows now, but that’s not going to help her up close.”Sesshoumaru allowed his eyes to slowly drift over all the items on the table before replying. “There is nothing here that would be suitable for her. The quality leaves something to be desired.” He knew that by that point, everyone was listening in, and his comments could easily put the man out of business. The stunned silent blacksmith’s eyes widened in shock at the taiyoukai’s opinion of his wares, and he quickly pulled something from under the table, holding it out before the three standing before him.“Please, my sincerest apologies, my Lady. It would be an honor if you would accept this dagger as a mating gift. It is the best I have.” He slowly slid the blade from its sheath, showing off the intricate engraving before shifting his hold so that they could see the bejeweled hilt. “The highest quality. The gemstones are imported, and there is nothing like them anywhere else in Japan. It is a completely unique piece, and I believe it fits you perfectly.”Inuyasha held out his hand and the blacksmith reluctantly passed the blade to him for inspection. He didn’t like the thought of a half-breed anywhere near his favorite piece, but he screwed up big time with his mouth, and he had to make up for it if he didn’t want to be slaughtered. The hanyou looked the item over carefully before handing it to his brother, who did the same. Sesshoumaru let out a little scoff before giving it back to the shopkeeper, clearly unimpressed. “We will go to Totosai to have something appropriate fashioned for her, but this will do for now, as she will need something to practice with.”The miko held back her giggles at the expression on the youkai’s face. He was obviously insulted by the Western Lord’s opinion of his work, and yet he could say nothing about it. To argue over the quality and craftsmanship would only end in his death, and he was obviously doing everything he could think of to make up for his insults and avoid that grim outcome. The blacksmith carefully sheathed the dagger and wrapped it in a swatch of silk before bowing low and offering the item to the miko. She accepted it with a small smile and a nod, before turning and walking away with her future mates, leaving one youkai relieved and the other disappointed, as the jeweler had failed to make a sale. He should have offered an item as a mating gift! That would have made a good impression that might have brought the future Western Lady back to his shop. Besides, having a woman in her position wearing his work would cause a huge boost in business. As the trio reached the next shop, Kagome rolled her eyes. “I don’t need clothes,” she reminded Sesshoumaru, who merely shot her a look before ushering her inside to speak with the seamstress, while Inuyasha laughed at her obvious annoyance. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
