Hey everyone! I am sorry for the delay time!! I had a shitty year! But I am back, and I just want you to know I plan on finishing this story! I hope you enjoy it! I apologize for writing mistakes, it has been a while!
“This is an outrage! Hayashi Daisuke-sama, since when has such shameful acts ever been accepted in the family? Your father would be disappointed to see that not only his first son who disgraced his name, but now his second son has done something far worse! This is unforgivable!” Shiyoii Matsumoto, an elder of the Matsumoto Clan, shouted out, displaying his disgust in this situation. “You have done unforgivable acts, and will not go unpunished!”“I will have to agree with Matsumoto-sama. You bring every elder of the High Clans to your home, and deliver foul news!” Another elder, Byakuya Shichiinitai, a man clearly in his early 60’s with dusted silver, short hair, stated firmly. Just like the other elders, he resembled a man of power and wealth.Everyone was dressed formally for this eventful meeting, and each wearing the colors of their family heritage. Shiyoii, a man of 55 years, was dressed in dark green with a faded pink that resembled his family’s colors. He was in charge of the fertility of the land, as was his family many generations before him. Byakuya wore dark purple with white, resembling the wealth and fortune that his family had brought to Japan. Without the wittiness, and clever skills, Tokyo would not become the greatest city in the world.A couple other men, one named Shuu Nabayuki, age 67, dressed in dark red and yellow, and held a military aura to his face, was in charge of the political warfare in Japan. His family had been known to go into battle first and ask questions later, always honoring them the title of warriors. And the other elder, age 88, dressed in a pink kimono with black, resembled love and peace of Japan, went by the name Hiro Hayabusha. The quietest one of the clan members.“I see no problem in his actions.” Hiro stated, reaching before him to grab the tea kettle and gently pouring himself a shot. “He was thinking of his daughter’s virtue. In my eyes, he is a man.” He smiled softly, his thick glasses blocking the true emotion in his eyes. He set the kettle down as he pours his drink, and grabbed the cup with a shaking hand due to his arthritis. “Where is the young heiress? I find it rude of her not to be here at this important meeting.”Having heard enough of the elders, Daisuke only sighed as he listened to Hiro. It never failed, the man always knew how to calm a rowdy room with egotistical maniacs. “She is at an appointment. Satomi has said she will make it after her meeting with the doctor is over.”“How far along is the child?” Hiro asked, sipping his tea and savoring the tastes. It was eventually followed by a big sigh, and a clunk of the cup being placed on the table. “It can’t be too far, since she has made no progress of showing.”“How would you know, old man? You can barely see, even with those goggles you wear!” Shiyoii mumbled, taking his own kettle on his table and pouring himself a drink. “The fact of the matter is, the heir Hayashi-san, is with child out of wedlock! She had not even finished her school curriculum!”“Is does not matter, Shi-shi-san.” Hiro chuckled, using a forbidden nickname against his old friend. “Fate is that she will be a mother, sooner than expected. Who are we to fault what the Gods have placed before us?”“You speak in riddles, old man.” Shiyoii stated.“Either way, you speak of my daughter as some harlot. Teenagers will experiment, it’s inevitable. But to have her become pregnant, it’s inconvenient. She refused to abort the fetus dwelling in her, and I have respected her wishes. She was taken out of high school and will be finishing up in private. It will not be long until she will soon start to take over.” Daisuke noted, rage filling his soul at how the elders viewed his only child.“She is but a child!” Hiro sighed. “And she will be a mother soon! How can she run a company, when she will be running around chasing a little Hayashi.”“My great-grandson is also Shichiinitai! If anything, the correct term would be ‘little Shichiinitai’.” Byakuya stated, informing the others that the child was also of his own blood.Hiro shrugged, and began to moved his upper torso side to side to crack his back. “Politics, politics. All of it is nonsense. Just because I forgot a simple little detail, does not mean I have forgotten who the child also shares blood with. You should learn to ‘get the stick out your butt’ and live a little. I learned that from a few teenagers. They are wise than we give them credit for.” He smiled widely, reaching for his cup again and sipping on the tea.“Foolish old man.” Byakuya and Shiyoii both mumbled in unison.Rolling his eyes at the scene, Daisuke decided to keep his mouth shut as he watched the conversation go back and forth between the elders. Sitting beside him was Shuu, who had made a habit of just drinking and eating anything to keep from speaking. The man clearly hated talking about anything unless it involved beautiful women and the latest models in technology. “How does the steamed celery taste?” Daisuke finally asked, trying to keep his mind off the other three elders in the room.In a very pristine and delicate tone without missing a beat, Shuu spoke with a deadpan expression while staring at Daisuke. “Very steamy with a hint of celery flavors.”The sarcasm was laced with each word like venom on a wound. It only caused Daisuke to roll his eyes once more, wondering how he ever became part of the High Clan Council. “I was simply trying to make conversation, Shuu-san.”“You lack the necessary skills to keep my interest in small talk, Daisuke-san. The weather is cold. I hear it will be snowing again, but that is just beyond silly with spring around the corner. I hear the next playboy model will be released soon, and I am anticipating it will be Miss. Victoria for the April cover. She has a body to be manipulated in the bedroom.” He grinned, chowing down on the steamed celery. “And I recently purchased the new high end cell-phone from Samsung. It works brilliantly, so far.”Silence was shared among the room as everyone listened to Shuu talk endlessly about pointless topics. It was the most the man has ever said in their presence, and his voice sounded almost foreign to them when he continued. “There was a damsel in distress I found at this lovely bar. She was being wooed by a few boys in suits. I came in and saved the day, and eventually took her home where I…”“Nabayuki-san, do not finish that last sentence.” A feminine voice called out from behind. “I really do not want to hear about your love affairs. Highly inappropriate.”Shuu chuckled and turned around to see Satomi, dressed in her family colors kimono and sporting two sets of chopsticks in her long, light brown hair that held it up in a bun. Her feet were bare, and her hands held onto a couple of praying Buddhist beads. If they hadn’t received the news she was pregnant, he would have assumed she only gained a couple pounds due to not being active. “I see you’ve gotten fat.” He joked, knowing that Satomi was the only one he could ever joke around. He knew the little sprout since she was a toddler, and had been great friends with her father. When the other elders weren’t around, she would always call him Shuu-ji. Even if he was a replacement uncle for her previously deceased uncle. It didn’t bother him since he was glad to still have such a title by an amazing lady.Satomi chuckled and walked over to playfully punch his shoulder, but prevented before the action ever took place. She didn’t want to look childish in front of the elders when she was trying to defend her position. Taking a seat between her father and Shuu, she looked around and bowed in respect. “Forgive my absence during the first hour. I assure you, this will not happen again.”“Nonsense! You are pregnant! Doctor appointments should always be important than some fancy meeting. These impatient monkeys could wait a bit!” Hiro smiled widely, eventually raising his hand to gather one of the servants attention. “Bring in the sake! And a fruity drink for the heiress!”Daisuke, along with the other elders, all looked shocked at the eldest member. Before one of them could say anything, Daisuke blurted out in amazement. “Isn’t it too early in the day to be drinking, Hiro-sama?”Hiro shrugged his shoulders and shortly received his sake bottle and a few small cups. “It’s drinking time somewhere around the world. Besides, this is too much tension in the room. We all should drink to congratulate Hayashi Satomi on her pregnancy! The Hayashi and Shichiinitai family line will now continue on! Who is not happy for that kind of excitement?” He gleefully shouted, pouring himself and everyone else a shot of sake.As the time continued, it eventually led to a few drunk elders and a giggling Satomi, singing songs of the old and new. An agreement to keep the pregnancy silent until the marriage was finalized on Saturday. By then, she should also be completed with her school work if she continues to work day and night on her studying. It will no longer be a shameful act to be married and have a child, since she will already be finished with school as well.
“I truly am impressed that you came back to school after what happened a couple days ago?” Kouga spoke up, walking up beside Kagome in the hallway. He was heading to his next class until he noticed the familiar miko that he had bumped into a couple days ago. “How are you feeling?”
Spooked by the voice that came from behind her, she looked over her left and noticed Kouga walking beside her. Clearing her throat, she nodded and gave a brief smile. “Anxious.” She answered him, trying to still keep her powers at bay. It wasn’t that she feared them anymore, but now anyone could pick up that she was a miko. In times like this, it could be fatal.“Don’t worry too much.” He stated. “You see that girl over there.” He pointed down the hall, aiming at a young girl with a long pony-tail braid that reached pasted her hips, and walking towards the exit. “She is a miko, not as powerful as you of course, but a miko. Almost everyone in school knows, and the difference between you and her, she isn’t anxious and worried someone will kill her.” He winked. “Those dark times are over. This is the new age, Kagome. People are a bit more open-minded.”“How can you be so sure about that?” She asked, trying to not be negative at the situation, but it was bothering her. She needed to know. She needed to be assured that things would be alright for her.He shrugged his shoulders and stopped, making her paused with him. “I don’t know, Kagome. But I do know that our generation is more open to change than the older generation. We see hope and light in a different perspective than our folks. World isn’t so black and white like they tried raising us to believe. People are different. Some chose a certain path, while others don’t have a choice but they don’t let it hinder them. It’s what makes our world flourish now, and that damp light of hope is now widening a bit more.”Listening to his words, she couldn’t help but smile. Who would have thought that the guy who is an enemy to her friends would share such wisdom? But then again, was Kouga truly an enemy to her friends? It was hard to tell, especially with everything that was happening in their lives now. “You really surprise me with your kindness and wisdom, Kouga. I really appreciate it. I don’t know where I would be if not for your help.”“I’m sure you could have found your way back, Kagome. Don’t give me all the credit. We fight because we refuse to let this world get us down. You have a strong will, so have faith in yourself.” He smiled softly. Patting her left shoulder, he gave a soft nod in and turned around to head to class.Watching him walk away, Kagome was oblivious to everything around her. She finally noticed when her powers no longer felt threatening to her when she didn’t think about it. It was a great distraction to have, especially since most of her classmates and friends were yokai in some form of way. Even her cousin, Shippo, was yokai.“Oh my Balloon Stick! Satomi!” She whispered to herself, finally remembering about her cousin who was pregnant. She hadn’t heard anything from her cousin. As a matter of fact, she hasn’t even heard from Sesshomaru or the rest of the gang since that incident at her home. Feeling dread coming on like a sleeve of sweat, she raced to her classroom to only find Sango and Naraku. Wasting no time, she raced up to them and immediately stepped back the second she noticed Naraku hiss slightly from a burning sensation on his right forearm. “I am so sorry, Naraku.” Kagome gasped, shutting her eyes to keep calm and take control.“Kagome?” They both asked, watching in confusion at what was happening.Gathering herself together, she took a deep breath and sighed out. “Sorry about that, I awoken my miko powers and they are chaotic at times.” She informed them both. “But enough about that, have you heard from Satomi or Sesshomaru?”“Last I heard, Satomi was in a meeting with the Family Clans today.” Sango responded. Pausing, she looked around and noticed a few prying eyes and ears peering on the conversation. “Come on, there are people listening.” She stated, grabbing both of them by the wrist and leading them out of the school towards the open court yard. The crisp air surrounded the trio, embracing them with ice scented air and crisp winds that curled around the bones of their guests. Instantly sending shivers through their body, they shook it off and reached a spot where the wind wouldn’t hit them as much. “Alright, so what is going on that we had to leave class?” Kagome finally asked once they sat down on a bench guarded by stone walls with old vines crawled up above an opened-roof.“Hayashi-san wanted Satomi to abort the pregnancy. After Bankotsu and Satomi disagreed with this, her father basically dropped the topic and said they will have to alert the other elders.” Sango stated.Feeling slightly confused, Kagome looked between her two friends and asked, “Why do they have to alert the elders? Who are the elders?”“The Hayashi Clan, Shichiinitai Clan, Matsumoto Clan, Nabayuki Clan, and Hayabusha Clan are one of the elder family clans. They all have some form of position in how Japan is run, especially here in Tokyo. Taisho Clan, Kasai Clan and Taijiya Clan are also part of the committee. Now, the reason anyone part of these family lines need to report to other family clans, is because everything is already set and planned. The arranged marriages between Satomi and Bankotsu, as well as Kohaku and Rin, were all planned before they turned a day old. Satomi is the heiress to Hayashi Industries, and with her being pregnant and also it being out of wedlock, they had to pull her out of school, and set the marriage sooner.” Naraku was the one to finally inform Kagome. “Because of all of this, she won’t be seen much unless we visit her. Her schooling should be completed within the next couple weeks, and the wedding is set on Saturday. It will be private and secluded.”“You truly have no life, do you?” Kagome whispered in shock. All her life, she thought she had it bad. She had to go to school and do chores for her grandfather. And make sure she was home by a certain time to not worry her mother. But this was ridiculous. All her friends and her cousins; their lives were planned out strictly and there was no room to mess up. She felt an ache in her heart and all she wanted to do was just hug them.Naraku shrugged, since he didn’t really care much for political family drama. His little brother was kept out of most of issues, so that was the only thing that truly mattered for him and their father. As long as Miroku wasn’t brought into any of this, they didn’t care if they had to deal with the bull. Of course, their father also didn’t like the fact that Naraku was usually handling the dirty parts of the job for most of the Clans. “There is a saying my father once used. You can’t choose the family you are brought into, but you can choose your friends. Don’t worry too much about us, Kagome. We made friends and it really beats everything. Especially since we made friends with what we got.”“Yeah, things happen. I know I was promised to marry Kouga. Before that, I was promise to marry Sesshomaru when I was born. Miyo didn’t like that idea, and fought against it with all her might. So, I was promised to no one until just recently when our families found out about me and Naraku. From what I gathered, Sesshomaru is the only one who isn’t set to marry anyone, because of Miyo. Inuyasha was set for Kouga’s sister, but that didn’t go well. Now, it turns out the inu is gay. We all called it.” Sango giggled lightly.“I am glad you guys see the light of things. I wonder why Sesshomaru is so closed off from everyone. Why is Miyo…”“A bitch?” Naraku interrupted Kagome. “Because she is a narcissistic, psychopath who probably wanted her father to fuck her since she was a kid. She’s sick and demented, and just the sight of her makes just about any one of us want to hurl. The bitch truly is her own category of fucked up, and the worst part is that she does so much underhanded shit in this city; everyone is oblivious to it besides me. I have to deal with other shit that is caused from her. No, it doesn’t have her name written all over it, but the deals I make with some of these dipshits, all link back to her. And this shit goes way back before any of way was born.”Blinking in surprise, Sango and Kagome both looked over at each other and then back to Naraku. “Babe, you truly do not like this woman.”“I have reasons to believe she was behind my mother’s death.” He finally confessed. “We all do. Father and I have been trying to figure it all out since we got the autopsy back from the morgue. My mother died from a slow acting poison in her system that only affects yokais. It was a low dosage that finally became part of her blood and it’s what took her life. We didn’t like her at first, but no one had access to poisoning her drinks or foods. The only person who ever bought her consumable stuff was Miyo. Turns out this poison has been in her system for the past five years, slowly eating away her organs leading to failure of all sorts. I don’t even know why I am saying all this to you.” He finally stopped, and inhaled sharply. All his life, he waited for Kirai to bite the dust and be out of her life. But with all the recent findings of why his mother acted the way she did, he couldn’t turn back on her now. He couldn’t just leave this death as it was. She may not have been the best loving mother to show, but she was behind closed doors. She made sure Naraku and Miroku had everything they needed since Akira passed away. Because she knew she wasn’t wanted, even by her own husband, she secretly made sure her boys knew love in some form. All the nanny’s they grew up with, each one had their own way of making them feel like little princes. He found his mother’s diary not long after her death when he went to look for more in her bedroom. She had over twenty diaries, all written front to back. Every one of them breaking his heart more as he realized how much she wanted to show her love for her child, but she was afraid to get close and lose him like her first. She was so torn from her first child’s death, that she was afraid to love another. It made no sense to him until he read the first of her books, and feeling rage when he noticed Miyo was mentioned.‘I turned away from Miyo today, but she found it insulting and decided to almost hit me with a car.’ He could never get those words out of his head. His mother was trapped in a toxic environment, and the bitch Miyo won! “I will find out how she killed my mother. And when I do, she will be locked away forever. Death is too deserving for that bitch.”Suddenly, a silent ringing was heard from one of the three. Quickly reaching for her phone, Sango answered it to find Sesshomaru on the other line. “Hey, what’s going on?”“Is Kagome with you?” Sesshomaru asked.“Yeah. Do you need to speak with her?” Looking over to Kagome, about to hand the phone over.“There is no time. I need you to get her to safety. I heard from my mother’s room she plans on doing something to the Higurashi family. Make sure they are put into safety.”Sesshomaru stated, and clicking to hang up immediately afterwards.Sitting in stunned silence, Sango looked over to Naraku and swallowed. “You heard that?”“I told you. Something just isn’t right with that cunt.” He cursed, feeling even more rage building inside. “We need to get her to safety, as well as everyone else. Take her to the Hayashi manor. All the Clans are there. She would be foolish to try something there with the elders in sight.”“What is going on?” Kagome asked, feeling nervous about the situation.Hissing in pain, Naraku looked over to the miko. “Kagome, I ask that you calm down, alright. Your powers are painful, and where you are going, there are going to be yokais about. Don’t worry too much, just know that Miyo might try something against your family. I will go get the rest of them, but you will be going with Sango.”“No! I am coming with you to get my family too.” Kagome fought against. “Don’t think you can lock me away while my family is still out of safety.”“Sango, take her now.” And without another word, he disappeared from the two girls. He didn’t need to waste time. If his gut instinct was right, Miyo was responsible for more than just his mother’s death.Hana could not believe what she was seeing. In all her life, she always made sure to never find out about the disturbing images life had to offer. But here she was, sitting in the Hayashi’s private study, watching a pet spider, possibly poisonous, eating a live scorpion. How did Daisuke even get a scorpion? She was so shocked and disgusted in seeing this, that she still couldn’t find it in her to turn away.
“It’s a lovely sight, isn’t it?” Tatsu mumbled, while flipping another page on a book he was reading. “The idea of such a small creature taking down such a large beast shows how much the will to survive can surprise just about anybody.”“I just don’t understand how a spider killed a scorpion. It almost seems impossible.” She replied back, turning around to see Tatsu sitting in Daisuke chair, feet propped up on the desk and skimming through a book called ‘P.S. I Killed Your Cat’. “What are you reading?”He shrugged and flipped another page. “I am not sure. But so far, it’s very hilarious.” He chuckled, continuing to read on with the story until they both heard a click from the door. Pausing, he looked up without moving from his position and waited to see who would walk through the door. “Seems we might be having some guests.”“Wouldn’t it be Daisuke?” Hana asked, until she finally felt a strange aura that felt familiar yet different. As the door opened, a dark hair male walked through the door, revealing crimson set of eyes, and sharp handsome features. “Katsu?” Hana whispered, feeling she must be mistaken. He looked so much like Katsu Kasai, but he never had red eyes. No, Katsu’s eyes were always a deep blue that sometimes was mistaken for black. “Who are you?”“That’s Katsu’s eldest boy, Naraku.” Tatsu explained, raising from his seat. “What’s going on? Is it bad?”Feeling a bit odd to see a woman that looked strikingly close to Kagome, calling him his father’s name, and seeing Sesshomaru’s uncle in the room as well, was just a sight to see. But right now was not the time to discuss this, he cleared his throat and walked into the room shutting the door behind him. “It’s about Miyo.”“What is that bitch up to now?” Hana stated, venom laced with her words as she cursed. It was rare for her to say such words, but the second Miyo was ever mentioned, as well as those other whores that walked with the Queen from Hell, censorship left Hana.“Sesshomaru called while we were in school. He told us to get Kagome and the rest of the Higurashi family to safety. I came over here, because this will be the place where we can have you protected. I didn’t realize you both were here, Satomi didn’t say anything to me on my way up here.” Naraku calmly spoke, showing how much in common he had with his father. It was almost nostalgic for Hana to see a clone of one of her dear friends.“She is going to harm my daughter? Why?” She felt her heart shattered. She can’t lose another one close to her again.Tatsu felt his anger rise, and he quickly walked over to Naraku. “Get the rest of the family. Souta should be over at Kohaku’s or Tsubaki’s. From what Shippo said earlier, he was heading over there with Souta. Make sure you get them to safety. If what you are saying is correct, with Sakura missing and Kirai dead – she only has one person to go to for any biddings.”“You can’t be joking. They said she would never have access to them again.” Hana felt her voice rising, the clarity that war was at the front door and no one was prepared for it.“It wouldn’t matter. She is still considered family, and if they plan on helping it, Miyo is sacrificing something great. And I can bet money it is on Sesshomaru.” Tatsu quickly replied back.Confused with the theory, Naraku chipped in. “Why would Sesshomaru be her bargaining chip?”“Because Sesshomaru isn’t her son.” Tatsu stated without missing a beat. “She was never pregnant with Take’s child. She even tried to bribe your mother in having her first child, your little sister. But Kirai refused, and for some unknown reason, she miscarried.”That was all Naraku needed to hear the second Tatsu finished. He knew Miyo was behind the death of his eldest sibling. He knew she was controlling his mother since the beginning. From what his father told him, Kirai was never evil. She only put on a show when Miyo was around, but when no one looked, she was loving and compassionate. It was almost too much to hear and he felt his legs give out, bringing him to his knees. How was he so blind to see that his mother was being used?“I knew it.” Was all he could whisper, feeling Tatsu’s hand on his shoulder. “I knew she was the cause of it. And for so long, I believed my mother was evil.”Hana wanted to interrupt and tell him that the Kirai she knew was evil. But something told her this went on deeper than anything else. Swallowing, she finally asked the young hanyou. “What do you mean she was evil?” She didn’t want to offend, but she needed a grasp of what was going on.“Miyo controlled my mother since the very beginning. My father use to tell me stories of how she would be so kind and nurturing, when no one was around except for him. He also told me how she was when she was first pregnant. She glowed and was happier than ever. It wasn’t until she lost the child, she grew distant and cold. We never knew it was because of Miyo.” Naraku stated, his voice shaken with all the hatred and sorrow he felt.‘I can never tell her I am sorry. I can never tell her how ungrateful I was! We could have saved her!’ He screamed mentally, feeling the pain finally coming to surface.“It’s alright, Naraku. So tell me, how did your mother die?” Tatsu finally asked, hoping to gain the only thing he needed to use against the bitch and finally have his daughter safely in his arms.Naraku looked up at Tatsu, his eyes watery from unshed tears. He turned to Hana and swallowed hard. “She was poisoned…”
Kagome reached the Hayashi manor, bumping into Satomi and Daisuke. “Kagome?” Daisuke asked, confused for a moment on why Kagome and Sango would be here at such an hour. “Shouldn’t you two be in school?”
“Daisuke, that should be the last thing on their minds. Turns out Hana was right. Miyo is starting a war, and she is going after the Higurashi family.” Tatsu called out from the stairs as he trailed down to meet them in the foyer.“What would she want with the Higurashi family? She already got what she wanted, didn’t she? We don’t have the proof, but I’m positive she killed our friends. What else does she want?” Daisuke demanded.Shortly after, Hana and Naraku joined downstairs to offer their input as well. “From what we gathered, we have a theory she may have notified the Oshiro family.”“They disowned her! It was all over media. Her younger twin sister took the birth right. They want nothing to do with Miyo. Hell, Take barely wants anything do with her.” Daisuke stated, chuckling nervously with all the information tossed his way.“Unless she bargains Sesshomaru.” Tatsu stated. “And she always had a fight against Hana. Remember college? The bitch tried to have one of her servants drown Hana, but instead almost drowned Masatoshi’s girlfriend instead. One of the many reasons why he never talks to us, just a reminder.”“She almost drowned Bankotsu’s mother?” Satomi finally chipped in, asking in shock at how evil this woman really is. The core of her soul was as black as the midnight sky without the stars to give it a shine.“Almost succeeded too, if it had not been for Hana. Never mess with an angry Miko. Those powers can give you hell for a week, and that’s only from a slap.” Tatsu chuckled, giving Hana a little hell about the time she slapped him when he walked in on her in the dressing room.Receiving another slap to his arm, Hana shook her head and finally looked over at her daughter. “Kagome, what happened? Why is Miyo after you?”It was Satomi who answered instead. With her voice breaking, her eyes cloudy with tears, Satomi answered her aunt. “Because she is losing her only chip to still remain part of the Taisho family. She knows Sesshomaru will fight back now, and now that everyone knows her dirty secret, she wants revenge. And she believes it was all Kagome’s fault. None of this happened until Kagome came into the picture, and she sees her as a threat to her future. It’s why we all tried to keep you away from his home. We couldn’t have her assuming anything and trying to point everything on you.”Silence was finally heard, with only a few sniffles from the females. “She won’t win this time.” Hana finally spoke up. “I refuse to lose anyone else to her!”“But what if she did get Mina to fight her battles?” Daisuke asked, feeling dread all over his body.“All she wants is her son.” Tatsu stated. “Me and Mina talked ever since the incident with Miyo happened. Miyo never gave birth to Take’s children. Rin is mine, and Sesshomaru is Mina’s. We have been trying for the past ten years to take down Miyo, but for the most part, all attempts have failed. She has the Kakutama family around her finger, and Sado won’t budge. If Mina is in the battle, all she wants is Sesshomaru back.”“How do you know all of this?” Satomi asked the one question everyone else had on their mind.“I just told you. Mina and I have been talking since Sesshomaru was born. At first, I didn’t believe Mina that Sesshomaru was her actual son. It wasn’t until Miyo became vicious and banned me from Tokyo away from Rin. It was then I started to have my suspicions. We been plotting against her sister since Rin, and every attempt as led to failure. So, we can continue to talk about this, or we can make a plan.” Tatsu demanded.“Not with the other elders here. It will have to wait until they leave.” Daisuke stated.“Or what? We miss out on all the excitement?” Hiro chuckled, walking into the foyer with the other elders behind him. “Miyo Oshiro Taisho. I remember the young yokai, and I believe it was her father who finally sent out a death sentence for her last year. So, it is a surprise for me to hear that she still lives and breathes.”“Elder, how do you know about Miyo?” Daisuke asked, completely dumfounded how much people knew Miyo.“I was great friends with her father, Oshiro Nadashi. He finally told me what his daughter was planning, and with a grave heart confessed how he sent her to her death. It turns out, he was trying to give her a chance to change, but when he found out she had a hand in the murder for our dear friend, Hayashi Daiki’s, son, Hayashi Ryuu. She was also responsible for Akira Fujimoto, and Izaiyo Tsukino. I have no heart for this Miyo, since Izaiyo was my granddaughter. Imagine the pain I felt when I found out the only child from my son was murdered?” Hiro gravely spoke.“Small world.” Kagome spoke up, feeling that there was more connections to this entire home than the world itself. People really did keep close and tight nit.“You have no idea, small one.” Hiro chuckled, smiling lightly. “But your grandfather had the same outlook. It’s nice to see that my dear friend still lives in you, as well as your little brother.”“So, what are we going to do?” Hana suggested, changing the topic before they got off hand of the real threat.Suddenly, a thrust of wind and bright light from the sun came rushing in. Everyone turned towards the door, ready to fight whoever came through that was a threat. It didn’t last the second they saw a familiar red head fox, along with several other familiar faces. Shippo and Souta both walked in, along with the rest of the gang and their families.“I call the kitchen! I will be cooking! Do not touch that kitchen!” Jak yelled out from behind, carrying several bags that contained food that he brought from home. “It’s going to be a long day, and I plan on making some delicious food! Inuyasha! Come help me!” He shouted out to his boyfriend, as a few items dropped out of the bags he was carrying towards the kitchen.Watching the scenery, the others looked up to the new guests and smiled. “Tatsu Taisho! It’s been ages, my dear friend!” Natsu chuckled, walking up to his friend and shaking his hand.Chuckling right back, Tatsu nodded and brought his old friend in for a hug. “Too long, I must add.”“Hey don’t forget about me.” An almost unfamiliar voice called out from behind the gang. Everyone paused to turn around to see Bankotsu walking alongside another old version of himself. Masatoshi Shichiinitai, son of Byakuya Shichiinitai. “I’m sorry for not keeping in touch, everyone. But I’m here if you will accept me.”The older adults, all staring at the gang in front of them like old days, froze at the familiarity in front of them. The gang was back, all but Take who was still M.I.A. But it didn’t erase the fact that they were all coming together again, and it felt good to have the gang back after everything.“You son of a bitch, I can’t believe you are here.” Daisuke raced up to his dear old friend, and brought him into a hug. “You are always welcomed. I’m so sorry for your loss. She meant a lot to us, I want you to know that.”Hearing the mention of his late wife, Masatoshi swallowed hard and just nodded. “She’s at peace now. She would be happy to see this though. Seeing us all together again.” He chuckled, wiping a tear that managed to escape his eyes.“Let’s all go to the meeting hall. We have a lot to discuss and catch up on.” Daisuke alerted, leading everyone back to where he and the elder clans were before all this happened. “It’s time we figure out a plan to get rid of Miyo.”
