Kanna said the next day
that they should be able to reach the village where she thought Kohaku-kun would
be, before the night fell. Sango felt her heart flutter when she heard the
little white girl say this and Sesshoumaru put an arm around his mate�s waist
and pulled her close for a heart warming hug.

Mate, calm down, he purred and
was glad when he felt her relax to his embrace.

-
I am so afraid Sesshou, what if
he is not there?

-
Then we will continue to look
for him, we shall search the whole world just to find him for you my love,
promised Sesshoumaru and Rin, Kanna, Jaken and the two heads of the dragon
nodded to his statement.

I love you all so much, cried
Sango and went all emotional about the thing.
�Hormones..�
said a small voice inside Sesshoumaru�s head and he smiled and cradled her form
and saw Kanna and Rin climb up onto the dragon�s back, Jaken was soon there too
and they took to the skies.

And Kanna was true to her
word. Just before the sun set beyond the horizon they found the village where
Kohaku supposedly would be. Sesshoumaru felt wave after wave of emotions pour
from Sango as they entered the village. Many people saw the demons as a threat
and hid inside their huts. But one old priest refused to hide and he greeted the
pack with a serene smile.

Can I help you? he asked and let
his grey eyes scan over the group.

-
We are looking for a young man
named Kohaku, he is fourteen years old, about this high. He has black hair and
dark green eyes. We have been told that he might be staying at this village. He
should have arrived around a week ago, said Sango.

Why do you seek this person?
asked the priest.

-
He is my little brother, my only
living relative, said Sango.

-
Why do you travel with demons,
if I may ask?

This is Sesshoumaru-sama, he is
the lord of the western lands and my mate. The little girl with black hair is
our adoptive daughter Rin. The little toad demon is Jaken, Rin�s retainer. The
two-headed dragon is Ah-Uhn, our friend and he let us use his back and strength
for our package. The white haired girl is a demon also, her name is Kanna. She
has been much abused in her life. She was the one who healed Kohaku-kun and she
thought he might have been seeking refuge in this village.

-
I see, come with me please, said
the priest and turned around.
They followed the old
hairless priest towards a small shrine and they were told to wait outside.
Sesshoumaru sat down and
pulled Sango with him to sit in his lap. She was about to explode with
nervousness. He purred low to get her to relax a bit, but this time it had no
effect on his mate and his purr turned to a small scolding growl.

I can not help it mate; I am so
nervous, mumbled Sango.

-
It will be ok, I am sure your
brother is fine, said Sesshoumaru and nuzzled her neck. He licked his mark,
wanting her to take comfort in their linked bonding.
Sango never tore her gaze
from the entrance to the shrine. She hardly blinked until she saw a dark shadow
appear on top of the steps.

Aneue!!

KOHAKU!! Sango rushed up from
Sesshoumaru�s hold and run to greet her younger brother.

Sango, Sango!!
The siblings embraced
each other, both crying and touching the other. Trying to confirm that this was
reality.

My little brother, Kohaku. I am
so happy I found you alive and well, cried Sango and kissed his cheek and hugged
him tight.

-
Sango, I have been so afraid
that you were dead, I never could gather the courage to search for you sister,
said Kohaku and sobbed into her neck.

Come, I want you to meet my
family, said Sango.

Your family?

-
Yes, come..
They walked back to the
group and Sango began introducing them all to her brother.

This is Sesshoumaru, the lord
over the western lands and my mate..

Sesshoumaru-sama, I am glad to
meet you, said the young boy.

Kohaku-kun, it is nice to see
you free from Naraku�s evil bonds, said Sesshoumaru and shook hands with Kohaku.

Rin-chan, our adoptive daughter.
Do you remember Rin Kohaku? Asked Sango.

-
Yes, said Kohaku. Of course I
remember this little jewel. I am sorry for the time I tried to kill you�

Don�t think about it Kohaku-kun
� I don�t, smiled Rin and flung around his neck, giving the boy one hell of a
hug.
Kohaku blushed but hugged
the little girl tight to his form. She was truly a little angel.

Jaken is Rin�s retainer, and
will probably be our pup�s retainer also once she decides to show her face to
the world, said Sango and stroked the small bulge on her belly.

Sister, are you telling me I am
going to be an uncle? asked Kohaku with a frown.

-
Yes, Sesshoumaru and I are
having a baby.

Sister, I am so happy for you,
said Kohaku and hugged his sister again.

And then we have the girl who is
responsible for all this � Kanna-chan, said Sango and pointed towards the little
white haired girl.

KANNA!!
Kohaku turned on a small coin and rushed
towards the young girl.
He hugged her more
fiercely than he had hugged his sister. The soft touch of his hands and the way
he let small kisses rain over her cheek had Sesshoumaru thinking. The boy had
deep feelings for the pale little girl.

Love, do you see it too?
Sesshoumaru asked Sango and she nodded.

I am glad; they are perfect for
each other. But they need to grow up a little bit more before they mate, do you
not agree my mate? asked Sango.

Yes, but if they decide to mate
we can not do anything about it.

The priest came down and
a big smiled was plastered all over his face.

Thank you houshi-sama. We are
very grateful for taking care of Kohaku-kun during this time, said Sesshoumaru
and bowed to show the priest his respect.

It was a pleasure; the boy has
been a great source of happiness around here. He has helped us during his short
stay, but I am glad that you finally have family back boy.

Thank you houshi-sama, I will
come back to visit you, said Kohaku. His hand had a tight grip around Kanna�s
and her pale face had two cherry red blossoms.

Kohaku-kun, said the priest and went back inside the temple.
The three youngsters and
Jaken took their place on Ah-Uhn and Sesshoumaru carried Sango in his arms and
the turned around to head back to Kaede�s village.
