Sesshoumaru watched his children and wondered why he kept feeling guilty. There was nothing to feel such a thing about. Still keeping his children a secret felt wrong. It was not like he ever planned on hiding them like this.
Inuyasha smiled as the little ones ran towards him. By Kami he was beautiful especially in Motherhood. Sesshoumaru was in awe of his mates. Thoren too looked like an angel in the sunlight swinging one of the tots in the air and smiling. His family was perfect. There was no doubt about that.
Telling Shippo’s kids all about his life wasn’t exactly planned either. He had to tell someone about his guilt that he didn’t have so that they knew that it wasn’t his fault they would be stuck with the Kens. It was always karma or something like that making him do foolish things like admitting to anything he didn’t do wrong since Lords do not make mistakes. That would make him weak and Lord Sesshoumaru was not weak in any sense. He was not weak when Inuyasha gave him puppy dog eyes and begged him for something. Inuyasha should not ever beg for anything that was stupid. He just shouldn’t ask for it and as a provider he had to buy whatever his mates wanted anyway even if it was foolish because that is what a good mate does. That was why he gave in, well not gave in per say. It was something else entirely.
Inuyasha and Thoren were too beautiful to be refused and deep down Sesshoumaru knew this. He just would never let on to anyone that he was a sucker. Especially when Inuyasha would sway like a wanton bitch in heat making him want……….damn……….he was horney. Was it night time yet? Thoren had better stop showing off too. Those lips, licking them, eating that foliage like it was……..damn…
“I think it is time the nursemaids came for the little ones.”
Sesshoumaru announced nonchalantly like there was not a problem in the world and that the tent in his pants was nothing to worry over. It was just time for the pups nap.
“But Sess……it is early still? Please?”
Thoren begged batting those fucking long eyelashes at him. Inuyasha was doing the same. Damn them both.
“Fine……..have things your way.”
Sesshoumaru ground out as he sat back damning his erection to hell and back. Whatever happened to his wives catering to all his needs? Didn’t he have them? Where were the soft kisses and back rubs? He always had to wait. It really wasn’t fair, but his wives were sure damn adorable playing with the pups. Inuyasha knew that Sesshoumaru was a big softy and smiled coming over to kiss his mate. Sesshoumaru was just being a man and wanted some so he would get some for being patient.
“I love you.”
Inuyasha whispered softly against Sesshoumaru’s lips.
“I love you too……so play quickly little wife so I can………..”
Inuyasha smiled as he sashayed on purpose just for Sesshoumaru who groaned wondering when his turn would happen. Damn that fine ass…….

Shippo sat with Sven holding their children.
“What do you think Sesshoumaru is doing with our kids?”
Sven stated softly.
“Well Fuu thinks it is a blessing he is performing as he does all his pups. Still, I am unsure.”
Shippo looked around to see if anyone was near.
“I think he is full of shit and has some big secret he is keeping from us. I want to sneak into his castle to find out, but I cannot bear to be away from you and Fuu my love.”
Sven rolled his eyes.
“Shippo lately you see conspiracies everywhere.”
Shippo sighed and looked at his mate with tired eyes.
“Sven, that is because there are conspiracies against us constantly. You have no idea the stress being Lord of the South puts upon me. I have royal duties which include sometimes killing people who are trying to kill us. I have threats all the damn time and that is mainly because I am a new, apparently quite young Lord.’
“Also our wonderful connection to the Ken clan makes us a target for those who hate them, than I have the crazy wolves of the North who use our home as a rest stop. It is complicated and a big mess.’
“Be glad you are my wife and you do not have to deal with the stupidity I deal with every day. I thought life was bad with Inuyasha and Kouga’s stupidity, but I was wrong. They are smarter then I gave them credit for.”
Sven was a bit shocked by that news. Out of anyone the last person to admit Inuyasha or Kouga had brains rather than rocks in their heads was Shippo.
“I am sorry ruling is such a trial for you.”
Sven stated softly and of course Choukichi arrived smirking at the two.
“Awe, it ain’t all that bad is it?”
Shippo grinned at his cousin.
“Nice to see you again cousin.”
Choukichi nodded as he looked at the little ones and grasped the one from Shippo.
“Ah, a boy. And he looks like both of ya. Hopefully he is smarter then you too.”
Shippo looked at his son.
“Let us hope so since he has to go to the Ken clan.”
Choukichi frowned.
“What a waste of a perfect heir.”
Shippo nodded his thanks as he took his son back then nodded for the nursemaids to come take the children away.
Sven kissed Shippo’s cheek and walked away to perform his wifely duties about the castle. Much still had to be done to make it their home.
“So cousin what brings you here?”
Choukichi grinned.
“I am to be a Father. I had to tell you the good news first since I wish to offer my condolences for your suffering the Kens and offer you a truce by setting at least your daughters up with my sons. It would be quite the bonding of our two forces.”
Shippo thought about this.
“I was kind of hoping to ally with the west or north through a mating with their clans, but Sesshoumaru stated he is not having any more offspring. For now anyhow and Kouga has too many to count so I would need to insure that they would be of his first litters.”
Choukichi shrugged.
“So blow them both off for now. Fuck them…….we are family right?”
Shippo nodded and had to agree that keeping his pups in the family would be the best decision over allying more of them to the Kens.
“Come, we will discuss these things………in a more private setting.”
Shippo led his cousin out to the gardens where Sango’s flowers bloomed. The lily field was a reminder of her who had once been almost as much of a Mother to him as Kagome had been.
“It is peaceful here…….do you not think so Choukichi?”
Choukichi nodded as he looked out amongst the field of white lilies that seemed to be blooming everywhere. The scent of them was overwhelming.
“Yes.”
Shippo stood looking quite regal and at the same time very sad.
“I am not ready to discuss the mating of my children yet. They are still young and although I know the mating ball will be coming soon I do not wish to think upon it at this time. I will however fulfill my promise to the Ken clan since they too are to fulfill their end of things. My little heir will be an Alpha demon so therefore any mate, female or male, will be beta leaving all power within our family. The Ken’s will have little say so therefore this joining is acceptable.”
Choukichi rubbed the back of his neck.
“I didn’t mean to bring up something that was a sore subject.”
Shippo nodded.
“When you think of your children growing up so fast you change quite a bit. I am very attached to my family. I have not had one of my blood before. It is a humbling experience.”
Choukichi never really thought about his family like Shippo did. He was always too busy with his duties as a Lord to really enjoy them. Of course he tried to love his female mate, but his heart had been long lost to Shippo and no matter how much he tried to let go it was only his duties that kept him going. Trying to pretend to be the husband to a female mate was like working as one of those side show actors that came through to entertain them on occasion. Every smile forced, every moment felt like a prison cell and the only other joy had been that he was announced as a Father only to be later told he would not ever raise his own offspring.
Father Lin still had a say so and Choukichi knew that he would never find happiness unless he found the freedom again to be who he truly was.
“Shippo, how do you do it all? Father rarely lets me out of his sight and I am constantly being bombarded with my duty as Lord. You have time with your little ones, I rarely see mine.”
Shippo smirked.
“A perk from being Lord of the South I gather. I make time for them. I learned this from Lord Sesshoumaru. Perhaps you should request time away and bring them here for a while.”
Choukichi appreciated the offer, but it was too much temptation. He had to let go of his feelings for his cousin. It was one thing to obsess; it was another to feed his obsession to the point where he would indeed go mad. No, it was best that he kept a level head.
“I apologize, cousin, but I cannot accept your generous offer at this time. Maybe another time. I will see you later then and we will discuss things when it is not inappropriate.”
Shippo just nodded and watched as Choukichi turned and walked away.
