Title: From her lips to his ears

Characters: Bankotsu and Jakotsu.

Prompt Summary: Jakotsu explains the best source of gossip.

After finally regaining control over himself, Jakotsu smiled softly up at Bankotsu before turning their attention back to their meal. "We should eat before it gets cold," he insisted softly before following his own advice and taking a bite. For a moment, Bankotsu simply stared down at him in silence, trying to figure out if he was actually okay now or if he was changing the topic pretending to be, before shaking his head and deciding that it didn't matter either way; the outcome would still be the same.

Bankotsu decided it would be best just to go with what Jakotsu wanted and turned his own attention back to the food in front of him after retaking his seat. "What exactly do you plan on doing now? Where do you go from here?" Jakotsu inquired after a few moments of silence had passes between them as he glanced up from his plate.

"Well I suppose I will just have to hope someone in this town likes to gossip and I'll be able to pick up a new lead to follow," Bankotsu told him, not worries he wouldn't be able to find someone who wanted to talk about others, but none of the information they would give up would do him any good. A town full of gossips did him no good if they had never even heard of the group he was looking for.

"Well if you do not mind spending a bit of money, I know the perfect person to ask," Jakotsu informed him before finishing off his plate and glancing up at the man who was gesturing for him to continue. "Request the number one girl here. If you sit down and buy her a few drinks, you'll have your best source of information. Men tend to feel special when they get to tell their life stories to who ever is popular. You'll probably be able to find out info on important people as well; they always request the number one."

"That is good to know. I'll see about requesting her in a bit," Bankotsu decided before turning his attention back to his food.
