A few days later Sango
still pondered over how she would tell the others in their group about her
condition and how she got into it in the first place. Although Inuyasha had
surprised everyone in the group with his sudden concern of Sangos well being. He
had almost been possessive in his behaviour, making Kagome jealous.

�I must tell her, or otherwise we will have a disaster on our hands or she would
simply kill me, thinking I have stolen her love from her.� Sango thought
bitterly and buried her face into the only thing she had left from her one night
lover and the only thing that seemed to give her some peace.

Inuyasha was out with
Miroku and Shippou for a hunt when he caught the smell of his brother. He
stopped his friends, telling them to stay back a bit and let him handle this.
�I wonder what that asshole is up to? Making Sango-chan pregnant and making her
his mate. I just do not get it.� the hanyou thought.

Dear brother, I have come for My
Lady Sango, Sesshoumaru said with cold voice even if his inner emotions were
stirring wildly. He could smell his mate on the three hunters and his blood
craved for her to be close to him again. These couple of weeks had been a living
hell for him.

You are a real bastard, you know
that don�t you? spat Inuyasha bitterly.

Why do you say that little
brother?

Just leaving her like that, do
you know how painful it has been on her behalf these last couple of weeks?

Is she hurt? Have something
happened to her or the pup? Sesshoumaru s voice cracked and revealed all the
love he felt for the taijya.
Inuyasha heard the
concern in his brother�s voice and he smiled inwardly. Who would have thought
that the great demon lord would fall for a demon slayer? Perhaps this would work
out fine after all.

Miroku made big eyes at
the regal lord�s questions. Was Sango pregnant? And why would Sesshoumaru care
about her condition. �Unless he was the father�� the insight almost
killed him on the spot. Shippou flew up from his hiding place and attacked the
demon lord ferociously with his little teethes and fangs.

Damn you for making my auntie so
sad, he screamed at the confused demon lord.
Sesshoumaru grabbed the
fox gently by its tail and removed him from his form. He looked into Shippous
green and teary eyes.

It was not my intending I assure
you little fox, Sesshoumaru stated with a soft voice that made his younger
brother raise an eyebrow in surprise. I had to take care of some business back
at my castle, but I assumed she would know what my mark meant and wait for me.
She is after all a demon slayer, and I know they are schooled in the ways demons
act and live.

You marked her? Shippou asked.
But that means she is your Mate..

That it does young fox. That it
does. And she is carrying my pup within her womb too.
Once again they were
surprised by the softness in the lord�s voice. Shippou was let down to the
ground again and he jumped up on Inuyashas shoulder.

Is it true Inuyasha? He asked
with a shaky voice. Is it true that Sango is Sesshoumaru s mate and carrying his
cub?

Pup, yes it is true
Shippou-chan, breathed Inuyasha and sheeted his sword, there was no need to
fight this time. Perhaps their little feud over his sword was history now?

How long have you known Inuyasha?
asked a very confused Miroku.

I have known it since we met up
with you after the incident, answered Inuyasha. I could smell it on her. I
waited for her to say something, but women have an annoying habit of keeping
everything a secret. So I took her for walk the other night, and I told her what
I knew. She should have told you soon, but my dear brother here spoiled that
little joy for her.
Inuyasha turned around
and began the walk back to the village. The monk followed him and Sesshoumaru
was left behind, a bit confused about his brother�s behaviour. It was almost as
if he had grown up to be a well behaved young man like himself. He followed
shortly after debating a bit with him self.

Else where..
Sango sought out the
whereabouts of Kagome. She needed to tell her young friend why Inuyasha behaved
so strangely and affectionate against her. She found the miko by the old Bone
Eaters Well in the Inuyasha Forest. She was sitting with her back against its
rough wall. Sango could tell that she had been crying, most likely over her
supposedly lost love. �Please Gods; give strength to tell her this.�
Sango prayed silently as she sat down in front of Kagome, trying to face the
deadly dark looks from the girl.

Kagome? Are you ok? she asked
with a shaky voice.

Am I ok?? NO I AM NOT OK!!
yelled the miko from the future in rage. You have stolen the most precious thing
in my life Sango.

No, you are wrong Kagome-chan,
I have not stolen him from you. He has a very good reason to act the way does.
He is my brother in a strange kind of way�

{sniffles}
W-what?

I have a bit more to tell you
about the night I shared with Sesshoumaru.. Sango bit her lip, trying to find
her courage to tell her the truth.

Y-yes..

We shared a bed for another
reason than just to keep us from freezing to death. We made love..
Sangos voice toned away,
looking down at the ground. Her cheeks flared red with embarrassment. Kagomes
dark eyes widened in disbelief. She could not really believe what the slayer
told her.

Sango, you are kidding right?

No Kagome-chan, I am not lying
to you. He left me though like I have told you before, he was not there when I
woke up. All I had was this fluffy thing, Sango said and hold up one end of the
boa. And a couple of days ago I got me another surprise�

You are pregnant are you not?
Kagomes voice held almost a serene knowledge.

Yes, but how..??

Come on Sango-chan, I have seen
you rush out of the cabin two mornings in a row, and I heard you hurl like there
was no tomorrow, and since you and I bleed at the same time and this time you
did not go around the bushes I figure it out. But I was so sure that you and
Inuyasha had been�

No, my dear, dear little sister.
He has been overprotective of me because he thinks that Sesshoumaru would beat
him to a bloody pulp if he were to let anything happened to me, said Sango with
thick voice.
Kagome threw all her
jealous thoughts overboard and pulled Sango in her arms for a big sisterly hug.
Sango was a bit overwhelmed at first but soon gave in for the friendly love they
had for each other. They cried and laughed at the same time.

Come on Sango-chan, let do some
baby-planning, said Kagome excited.

-
O-ok� stammered a bewildered
slayer.
The both bounced of to
Kaedes cabin, giggling and oohhs and aaahhs, could be heard through the forest
that day.
