Chapter 2- P.E. Wonder
Chapter 2- P.E. Wonder
“Hey Kagome? Do you have a spare pair of gym clothes?” asked Sango. It had been a week since that little kiss but little else had happened except for the occasional bump into Miroku and another protective statement against Naraku.
“Yep. Did you forget yours?” Asked Kagome.
With a sigh, Sango nodded and Kagome gave her the spare.
Sango changed into the PE clothes quietly after thanking her friend.
“We’ve got soccer today… but we get to watch the boys!” said Kagome happily. Sango smile. She loved soccer…and tennis…and baseball…and basketball…and swimming…and running…and wrestling. But soccer was one of her favorites. All the giggling and chatty girls walked out of the locker room and out onto the soccer field where the boys were already warming up on the other side.
Many a girl pointy out her hotty and how sexy he looked while stretching. Sango sat on the ground and started warming up, her eyes on Miroku though.
She smiled slightly until she noticed he was smiling back.
Sango’s eyes quickly fell to the ground as Kagome and the rest of the girls joined her in the gentle strechting. After rounds of warming up the legs, arms, back and stomach the whistle blew and the girls were divided into teams of 6, so there would be one goalie and 5 runners/ defensive players.
Sango’s team got to go first. One girl took the position of the goalkeeper and two other girls decided to be her defenders. That left Sango and the other two girls as the forwards. The other team assembled just as fast and the whistle was blow.
The girl on Sango’s left gave the ball a slight tap and Sango blasted it with a powerful kick and went after it. One girl stopped the ball just feet from the goal but Sango was already on her. Sango, with her quick feet got the ball and aimed it at the goal…SCORE! Sango had gotten her team a point.
The next team came in and the losers left. Sango, with the help of her forwards scored again, and again, and again. They were unbeatable, especially with Sango on their side. After many games, no team could beat them and the coach let them leave 10 minuets earlier and made the losers run laps. Sango was glowing with excitement and was praised by her teammates. Sango hadn’t been a ball hog and assisted in many of the goals scored so she didn’t seem like she spelt TEAM with I.
“That was very impressive." said a handsome voice as Sango walked out of the locker room. It was Miroku, who had just finished with his physical fitness class. Sango blushed at the site. He had his normal school pants on and his blue school jacket hung over his shoulder. Sango could make out the definitions of his build through the semi-transparent under shirt he wore.
“Do you really think so?” Sango asked timidly.
“You should try out for the soccer team. You’re great!” said Miroku as he walked closer to her. A small smile crept towards Sango’s lips as she leaned back against the wall behind her.
“Have you played long?” he asked and Sango nodded.
“I used to be on a team…after my parents died it was a great distraction from my grief…It was like the better I got and harder I tried, the less sad I felt.”
Miroku looked sad as she spoke of the loss of her parents.
“It must have been hard on you…When did they die if you don’t mind me asking?” asked Miroku gently. Sango smiled sadly.
“Don’t worry…it’s alright to ask. They died in a car accident 7 years ago when I was nine. I never got to say good bye. They left early that morning for a meeting about getting the house sold and a man driving a stolen car hit them head on. The man lived but both my parents died instantly…” said Sango, starting to wipe her eyes for the memories that she brought up as she spoke were quite painful, so painful that she was starting to cry…she hadn’t cried in years. She started to sniff as tears rolled slowly down her cheeks.
“Heh…I promised I wouldn’t cry any more…and now look at me…” she mused weakly. Miroku moved even closer to her and gently placed his arms around her, letting her place her head against his shoulder as she wept with sorrow silently.
“Are you going to be alright?” he asked after a few minuets.
Sango nodded slightly, wiping away at her tears. Miroku ran his hands through her hair a few times for comfort. He was surprised that he recognized the texture of her hair and the familiar warmth of her body…It was like this had happened before. He almost knew what she was going to do before she even did it. Slowly Sango lifted her head and placed a light kiss on his cheek. Miroku smiled at her as girls started coming out of the locker room and Kagome gasped before erupting with giggles.
“I-I’d better go…” mumbled Sango, now quite embarrassed and she broke free from his embrace and darted up the stairs...
“Hitting on the new girl?” teased a young girl.
“Sounds like something he would do.” said another
“He’s just looking for a new hole!” said a third.
Miroku glared slightly. He didn’t feel that way with Sango…with her…it was something more than just sex. Slowly he turned and walked off, leaving the giggling girls alone.
Sango slowly walked into her next class. She was so embarrassed! She’d been caught kissing the school’s most hot single boy right in front of dozens of girls. She slumped into a chair and pulled out a book…Home Economics… Why even bother. She never planned to be a mother or wife and need such skills but it was another credit towards graduating.
Kagome was in math so Sango had no one to talk to. Other students filed into the room, many of the girls talking and chatting about Sango and her little confrontation with Miroku. Sango groaned a bit and set to work, today was sewing…something so wasn’t very good at. She worked quietly and all by her self, not speaking a word. Stitch by stitch she worked on her handkerchief until she was nearly finished. A girl next to her suddenly blurted,
“Hey. I hear you’re one of those ‘easy’ girls. Those are Miroku’s favorites you know.”
And Sango had had it…
“I am not! Would you shut the hell up!” and she left the classroom after slamming down her project and accidentally stabbing herself with the needle. In anger she slammed the door behind her and was gone.
“Why I never…It was just a kiss…What’s the big deal? Stupid girls…They’re just jealous…jealous?” said Sango stopping. Jealous of what? Why did she feel so angry about other girls wanting Miroku? Oh this was just to confusing. She remembered the dreams she had been having. Of a time when Japan was much younger…Maybe 400-500 years ago. She’d imagined herself as some sort of exterminator that killed demons and Miroku had been a monk…with a curse. The plot seemed almost life-like and there had been a deep bond with Miroku and her self…they’d been so close…they’d been lovers, entwined in each other for at least half a decade before Miroku died and Sango died soon after…
Sango sighed as she opened the front doors and sat down on the steps.
A light breeze played with her skirt and hair and she sat with her chin in her hands.
“Are you alright?” asked a voice.
“Huh?” said Sango, standing up and looking around. There lay Miroku in the grass. He’d been skipping class and was warming himself in the sun. Sango walked down the stairs and sat next to him on the grass with a sigh.
“Are they making fun of you?” asked Miroku, Sango blushed and nodded.
“Well my reputation doesn’t help you at all so I must apologize for causing this.” he said gently as Sango lay down next to him, though she was careful with her skirt.
“What reputation would that be?” asked Sango.
“Well…let’s just say that I rather love the female sex and have been know to enjoy their physical bodies more than their minds…though almost none of the girls here have any brains at all…but I’m very sure that you do though.”
Sango smiled slightly as a perverted hand slipped behind her a coped a feel of her bottom.
“Why you little!” yelled Sango tackling him and trying to slap him but Miroku got the upper hand…literally. He grabbed the hand that tried to ‘kill’ him and stopped the attack. He also kept the other hand on her rear. Sango blushed and tried to escape, not enjoying the feeling of her secret place touching his own due to the fact that she was straddling is hips. Miroku grinned up at her and let his hand slide upwards as she struggled so that it rested on the back of her head.
“You seem so 'calm' around me…” he mentioned and Sango blushed redder.
“I-I…just let me-“ and Sango was silenced as he pulled her down harshly into a warm kiss. Sango struggled and wriggled but couldn't escape his grip. Miroku smiled once he let up, her taste was almost familiar…Sango was starring at him in utter shock…He’d kissed her…Oh and what a sweet kiss it was! Miroku let go of her but she didn’t move an inch. Miroku slowly sat up and kissed her forehead before standing and helping her to her feet.
“Now don’t you feel better?” he asked; letting go of her arms again. And with that…Sango fainted.
“Shit…I was to much for her…” mumbled Miroku, picking her up and taking her inside.
“Sango…Sango-chan? Are you alright?” asked Kagome who was sitting at her friend’s bedside in the nurse’s clinic.
“What…What happened?” asked Sango, coming too.
“You passed out and Miroku-sama carried you here…he was very worried…but he had to go to work or he wouldn’t have left your side.” said Kagome.
“Is school over?” Sango asked sitting up.
“Well…school got out an hour ago so it’s 4 o’clock right now…you’ve been out for 2 hours. What happened?” said Kagome.
“Nothing…I just didn’t feel well that’s all…” said Sango, blushing secretly at the thought of what really happened.
“I’m glad you’re okay now. Guess what! Everyone has been invited to a huge party at Kyoto’s house! He’s the richest guy in school and has a big mansion. Wanna go?” asked Kagome.
“I don’t know if I should-“ started Sango
“But you have to go!” begged Kagome.
“But…Oh alright.”
“YAY! Now, lets get home, we’ve got 2 hours to get ready!” said Kagome happily.
Sango drank some water and was evaluated by the nurse before she had the okay to return home. Kagome on the way to Sango’s house was telling her what she would wear. Sango, who really didn’t pay attention to Kagome was off thinking about Miroku…
