~~~~~~•• Part 3 ••~~~~~~
Kaede and Shippou sat on
the porch. It was early morning and the others were still sleeping. The dew
filled the air with scents of night blooming flowers. It was a very beautiful
morning.
-
We should leave today, said
Kaede.
-
Yes, the shards will not come to
us, we have to come to them, nodded Shippou.
-
And Naraku continues to grow
stronger for every day. We must defeat him or else he will destroy our country.
Shippou nodded again.
Kaede was right. It was time to leave for another hunt. He didn’t want to, not
really. All he wanted to do was stay here in the village with granny Kaede,
Inuyasha and Motoko. He wanted to fool around with his father figure, let
Inuyasha teach him everything there was to being a demon. But alas, if they
would have any peace they had to vanquish Naraku first.
Later that day they were
on the road again. Inuyasha, Miroku and Kouga in the front, Kaede, Shippou,
Kirara, Ginta and Hakkaku in the middle. Sango and Motoko came last. Sango was
not feeling too well, but she had gotten an ache relieving tea from Kaede. It
helped a lot, but she couldn’t look at Kouga anymore. She felt ashamed over how
she had acted yesterday and now she wanted to just turn invisible.
Kouga was having his
problems as well. Miroku and Inuyasha were trying him to cheer up, but it was
not working. He felt bad for having blurted out such a rude question to the
slayer and he wanted to apologize, but he was not sure how he was going about to
do it. He was still confused though. Sango had smelled like she wanted to go
somewhere private with him, but she still slapped him and stormed off on her
own. Human females were just too confusing. If it had been a she-wolf, she would
have accepted and they would be off for a good time. But not Sango… no, she had
to go around smelling all sweet and wonderful. So sweet that he barely could
keep his fangs to himself. An image of him with his face between her legs made
him flush red and his little demon buddy grew painfully hard. “Fuck, I need
to get away from here before they see it.” he thought and looked at Inuyasha
and Miroku. “They will tease me to no end if they see
what my thoughts of her have caused this time.”
-
Guys, I need to go off to water
a bush, mumbled Kouga and took off before they had a chance to say anything.
But Inuyasha had already
smelled the wolf’s dilemma, but he decided that he would not say anything about
it. The poor guy was having enough troubles as it was. Sometimes he could be a
saint… if he wanted to.
The five in the middle
saw the wolf run off into the forest and they wondered what he was up to now,
but they didn’t ask any question. He would be back. As long as Sango was with
them, Kouga would always come back. Kaede had Shippou sitting in front of her on
the horse and the young fox looked up at her.
-
Kaede, do you think we could ask
for a break? asked Shippou.
-
Why? Are you tired young one?
asked Kaede and brushed a soft hand over his furry head.
-
No, but I think there are things
in this group that has to be solved before we go into battle, said Shippou and
Kaede nodded.
She gently forced the
horse to speed up a bit. She stopped once she came up next to Inuyasha.
Inuyasha agreed, a stop
would do them good. And Sango and Kouga had to work out their problems. Miroku
took it upon his shoulder to get Sango to talk to the wolf, to make them sort
out their indifferences. Inuyasha said that he would talk to Kouga once the wolf
came back from his little visit to a bush.
They halted and Ginta and
Hakkaku collected some wood for the fire. Shippou helped in the best way he
could, by annoying the shit out of the two wolf brothers. Kaede made food for
the group and Inuyasha sniffed out Kouga to talk to him.
Motoko helped Kaede with
the food and Kirara just played around with a few butterflies. Miroku walked
over to Sango and asked her to come with him for a short while.
Sango was confused;
Miroku looked very serious, had something happened while they were travelling?
-
No, Sango, it is not that. But I
am worried about you, said the monk as he silently asked her to sit down with
him on a log.
-
Oh…how come?
-
If we get into a fight or
battle, it will be a problem if you and Kouga can not come to terms with each
other. You must bury the battle axe Sango. Make peace with the wolf, said Miroku
softly.
-
Is that the wish of the rest of
the group as well? mumbled Sango.
-
Yes, I believe it is. I know
that the wolf is a bigger pervert than me Sango. He told us what he asked you
yesterday, and I was amazed that he was still breathing when we got to him, said
Miroku and laughed gently.
-
Oh… it’s just…. Oh houshi-sama,
can I tell you something and you’ll keep it secret?
-
Of course Sango-sama, if that is
what you want.
Sango blushed and took a
deep breath. Her eyes wandered to look at the darkening sky above.
-
You see houshi-sama, I like him.
I like him a lot and whenever he touches me I transform, she began, her cheeks
was coloured.
-
Transform Sango-sama?
-
Yes.. you must excuse me
houshi-sama, but when you touched me I just felt… actually I just got mad every
time you touched me. But when Kouga-san touches me…. I feel hot and I…
Silence. Sango bit her
lip, feeling very embarrassed by the way she acted at the moment.
-
Yes?
-
Houshi-sama, I want him… I
really do… but something in me just jumps away and refuses to accept that I want
him. I don’t know what to do.
Miroku patted her on her
back before putting his arm around her shoulders and hugged her close to him.
-
I think understand Sango-sama.
You have never been properly courted before and neither Kouga nor I are the best
examples of how to go about with women. But I think that Kouga wants to
apologize for his blunt question yesterday and I should think it is a good sign.
Talk to him, let him explain his actions. And don’t be too mad with him, because
I think he likes you very much. Even more than he ever did with Kagome-sama.
-
W-what…? Really? sniffled Sango
as she dried her tears.
-
Yes, I believe so. So swallow
the tears and talk to him. Both Kaede and I would love to perform a wedding
ceremony for the two of you, said Miroku and hugged his friend.
Sango laughed through her
tears and nodded.
They walked back to camp
and saw that Inuyasha and Kouga still were missing. But Miroku whispered to
Sango that the hanyou was going to have a similar talk to the wolf as he had
with her. Sango blushed but nodded and moved to help Kaede and Motoko with the
food.
Inuyasha saw Kouga come
strolling towards him where he stood resting his back against a tree. The hanyou
wrinkled his nose when he smelled the wolf.
-
Go and wash up first wolf, then
we will talk, said Inuyasha.
Kouga oddly enough just
nodded and walked over to the small stream that was flowing not far from
Inuyasha. He washed his hands and private parts before walking up to Inuyasha.
He looked into his golden eyes and saw concern in them.
-
What’s up mutt? he asked as he
crouched down.
-
You need to talk to Sango, said
Inuyasha, going straight at the point.
-
Yeah, don’t you think I know
that, growled Kouga bitterly.
-
The slayer likes you. Trust me,
just seeing you alive after a question you asked her yesterday proves just that.
But she’s not used to our natural way. I am having the same troubles, I want to
take Motoko away and just have my time with her. So I know what you are going
through wolf. But Sango needs wooing before rutting. Talk to her.
-
Wooing?? I didn’t mutts like you
know how to do that, smirked Kouga, trying to get up on equal foot with the
hanyou again.
-
Keh, give me some credit will ya
you mangy wolf. I’ve been around human females than you. It would be hard not to
pick up a thing or two when you are travelling with Kagome. She always ranted
about she wanted to be treated, snorted Inuyasha and moved away from the tree.
-
Wooing huh? Well, that shouldn’t
be too hard… will it?
-
With Sango, who knows? But try
to make up with her before the next battle, that is my suggestion, said Inuyasha
and began to walk back to the camp.
“Yeah, I could do
that.” thought Kouga and
stayed behind a few minutes longer before he too walked back to their camp.
~~~~~~••○••~~~~~~
Batou growled again.
Major Kusanagi was gone. Not missing but gone as in wiped out from the face of
the earth. He had been searching for her for several weeks and had yet to find a
single clue to where she might be. That was until he got the bright idea to look
into what her internet connected brain had transmitted. The images showed her
talking to a silverhaired young man and how she followed him to an old shrine.
Batou found the shrine but what he couldn’t understand was why his friend would
go into an old shed and jump down… on old well? That was just too confusing. He
stood there looking at the well in question before following her footsteps.
He had expected one thing
when jumped down the old well and that was to land on the bottom. However, he
did not expect to float through a lilac coloured space for half a minute before
landing softly on the ground again. He made no noise what so ever as he climbed
up from the well. All his instincts were shouting at him as he took in the new
surroundings on the other side of the well. This was just not possible. Portals
like this one were still on a theoretical basis, they did not exist. After a
short moment of searching he had to acknowledge the fact that he was no longer
in contact with the main computer. He scanned the area with his enhanced sight
and senses. He was in a place where he had no contact with Section 9 anymore.
He moved around when he
heard a noise behind him. He saw a terrified middle aged man, dressed in the old
times clothing, he was holding a pitchfork. Batou straightened up as he walked
over to the man.
-
Can you tell me where I am? he
asked the older man.
-
A-are y-you a f-friend of
Kaede-sama? asked the man as he took a better grip around his pitchfork.
-
Kaede-sama? I don’t know of any
Kaede-sama. I want to know where I am.
-
P-perhaps y-you k-know of
K-kagome-sama? the man asked.
“The man is terrified
and yet he holds on to his position… interesting.”
thought Batou and could practically see the fast beats of the man’s heart.
-
No, I do not know of this Kagome
either. I am looking for a woman who came through this well around six weeks ago
or so. She is my friend and I am worried about her, said Batou and that was the
truth. – She was accompanied by a man with grey hair.
-
Oh.. Oh!! You are a friend of
Motoko-sama?
Batou’s arm shot out and
grabbed the older man’s collar and pulled him close. If he would have human eyes
they would have been blazing.
-
You know of her?!!
-
Y-yes my l-lord… I do. But s-she
travels w-with Kaede-sama and Inuyasha-sama a-and their group, stuttered the
man.
-
Travels? Do you mean that she is
not here?
The man nodded and told
the large Batou that they had left earlier this morning.
-
Which way did they went? Asked
Batou.
The man was silent.
-
TELL ME!!
-
S-sorry my l-lord, but that is
something I will n-not tell you, said the older man and a new fire had been lit
inside his black eyes. He would did not trust this man and he would not expose
his friends position to this guy.
-
Loyal, that is good. Well, I
don’t need your help, I will find her anyway. You see, she’s my friend and I
will help her if she is in trouble, said Batou and released his hold of the man
and turned around to walk away from the well.
The man with the
pitchfork bit his lip. He tried to figure out the tall man that had come up from
the well. Surely he looked intimidating, but hostile… a bit, but not life
threatening. If he came through the well and said that he was a friend to
Motoko-sama… perhaps he really was a friend to her?
-
Ano…. Walk towards the north my
lord.
But before Batou could
turn around, the man was gone. The cybernetic enhanced human smiled and bowed
towards the place where the man had been standing and telling to the air that he
was grateful for the information. “To the north then…”
~~~~~~••○••~~~~~~
The group had eaten a
delicious meal with fish and cooked roots. Inuyasha had made a brave move and
now he sat down with his back against a tree and Motoko sat between his
outstretched legs. He was massaging her neck and shoulders and he could hear her
soft mewls of pleasure as he did. He leaned forward as he let his claws move up
to her head and he combed her short hair with his fingers.
-
Feels good Motoko-chan? he
breathed into her ear.
-
Y-yes… she answered and closed
her eyes. His claws trickled her scalp, stimulating the blood vessels of her
skin.
-
You want to know a secret? he
asked.
Motoko wasn’t even sure
if she could handle her situation at all, but she nodded.
Inuyasha chuckled a bit
when her scent spiked a bit. She would never be truly human, she had a titanium
skeleton, but her smell right now… that was all human indeed. And by the smell
of it… she was beginning to harbour an excitement and that was only because he
touched her. That alone made the hanyou feel brave.
Motoko shivered when she
felt his hot breathe trickle her ear. He was causing her to want him even more.
“The books was wrong… the real thing is a thousand times better.” she
thought as she leaned back into his touch.
-
The secret is…. I have never
felt this way towards a female before Motoko-chan. You make me dream about
having pups, the hanyou growled into her ear.
-
P-pups?
-
Yeah… babies… a family, said
Inuyasha as his hands moved around her waist and clasped together on her lower
belly.
-
W-with w-whom? She feared the
answer, and yet she had to know.
-
Who do you think? Have I looked
at another female since the day we met?
-
Inuyasha…. she whispered his
name and relaxed back against him.
-
I will not let it be a secret
anymore… the things you do to me…. the way you make me feel… I… I think I love
you Motoko-chan, whispered Inuyasha as he closed his eyes and waited for her
rejection. He was after all just a lowly hanyou.
“Love…. is that what I
feel as well…? Love? The gentle shivers that goes through my body… the way my
stomach seem to harbour butterflies…. The way I want to be near him always… is
this love I feel too?”
Motoko was not sure. But she was sure about one thing, and that was that she
wanted to be close to Inuyasha. He made her feel safe and protected. He made her
feel good. She turned in his arms and buried her face into his warm neck and
took in his wild scent.
-
Inuyasha… I am not used to all
this… I feel something towards you and my guesses is that you are the reason to
why my programmed body has begun to respond to the way of a female, she began
and she felt him stiffen and she put her arms around his torso to hug him
closely. – My body is shivering whenever you are close. I want to be with you…
always. Is that what love is?
-
I… I don’t know for sure, said
Inuyasha, but he wanted to tell her that was what love was all about. But he
couldn’t, because he was not really sure himself.
Motoko accepted his
answer. But somewhere deep within her she knew that this was what love was
supposed to feel like. For now she just sat there inside his embrace and just
enjoyed herself.
Kouga moved over to
Sango, his blue eyes locked on the ground. He kneeled next to her and she could
see a faint blush on his cheeks.
-
Uhm, Sango-chan? he asked
quietly.
-
Yes Kouga?
-
I wish to speak to you… in
private.
Sango nodded and rose to
her feet and Kouga was soon to follow her. They found a secluded place away from
the others and Sango sat down on a large log. The wolf sat down next to her and
he could see that she was tensed. He wished that she was not.
-
I wanted to apologize for my
rude behaviour yesterday. It was wrong of me to assume what I did. Will you
forgive me Sango-chan? asked Kouga and looked her straight into the eyes.
-
Of course, and I have a bit of
confession to make Kouga, said Sango and felt her cheeks heat up.
-
Oh…
-
I think I was more embarrassed
then angry when I stormed off.
-
Huh??
-
Well, you said it your self… you
could smell it…, mumbled Sango and turned her face away. Gods, she was sure she
was going to die here on the spot.
-
Really??! Kouga’s voice was
excited and he took her hands into his and gently forcing her to look at him
again.
-
Yeah… but… it is just that… I’m
not the type to feel all womanly and stuff. It was a bit of shock for me you
see… Oh fuck… ok… I’m not mad at you and just let us forget having this
conversation at all shall we, she burst out and rose to her feet, but Kouga
pulled her back down and she landed on his strong thighs.
Kouga put his arms around
her and held her close. No chance in hell that he would let her go now. She had
just told him flat out that she wanted the same thing as he did… ok, perhaps not
flat out, but almost. He heard her yelp in surprise as he hugged her. He pushed
his nose into her neck and inhaled her stormy scent. He would never grew tired
of it. His tongue snaked out and tasted her skin and he heard another sound of
surprise come from her. But she didn’t slap him on the head again. He took his
time and explored her neck with his mouth until he moved away a bit so he could
look into her dark eyes.
-
W-what… why? she stuttered and
blushed.
-
Be mine Sango…., Kouga’s voice
was thick with emotions as his ice blue eyes drowned in her crimson black ones.
-
Y-yours? W-what do you mean…?
-
The day in the forest, when I
told you about the mutt-face’s claim on Motoko…. You changed something inside me
Sango-chan. All I ever have thought about from that day is being with you.
Always with you. I want to touch you, hug you, taste you Sango-chan.
Sango felt her world spin
and she closed her eyes and felt her heart drop to her stomach. This was just
too much, she could barely keep herself upright. His voice sent joyful thrills
up and down her spine. She could feel his breath tickle her cheek as he spoke.
“Oh dear Gods… I’m going to faint.” She thought, but she didn’t, he
wouldn’t let her.
Kouga could feel all the
colliding emotions in Sango and he frowned. The scent she was giving off told
him that she was more then willing to share a nest with him… and yet there was a
small dose of fear as well. As if she was not sure of what to do.
-
Sango-chan, do not fear me…
never fear me, he whispered softly and nuzzled her neck.
-
I don’t fear you Kouga… I’m just
not s-sure how to handle it all…, she answered him.
-
Just take it one step at the
time… will you allow me to kiss you?
Sango nodded mutely. She
could feel his clawed hand on her cheek and his thumb brushed over her trembling
lips. He hushed her as he closed in and let his lips move against hers. Sango
closed her eyes and let him guide her through this new experience. Her last
conscious thought was on how good he tasted.
Kouga was about to
explode when she parted her lips and let his tongue into her dark cavern. The
taste of strawberries still lingered in her mouth and it made him want to taste
more. His hand never moved from her cheek, but the other one began to roam over
her back in circular motions. When he heard a soft moan coming from Sango he
cursed himself, he could feel that his iron will was slipping and he had to part
from her before he just flipped her over on her stomach. She looked at him in
confusion.
-
S-sorry Sango-chan… you taste
just too good, said Kouga and brushed his nose against hers. – Too good that I
am barely hanging on here.
-
Oh….?
-
Yeah… oh… can’t you feel what
you are doing to me? He pushed his hardness against the thigh that was closest
to his groin.
-
OH!!!!
He smiled and placed a
very light kiss on her lips. Just a small one before he moved to stand up with
her still in his arms.
-
Come, let’s go back to camp
shall we?
Sango nodded, unable to
voice her answer. She was still wrapped up in his kisses. He really liked her,
she had made him want her, really, really want her. Not just a grab here and
there but she had excited him to the point where he was hard as a rock. A power
strong as Mother Nature herself washed over Sango and she smiled brightly,
earning herself a curious look from Kouga. But Sango just shook her head and
took his hand and then they walked back to the camp.
~~~~~~••○••~~~~~~
Later that night, Kaede
and Shippou had the first watch as the other slept. Everyone was happy that
Kouga and Sango had made peace and by the blushing cheeks on the slayer… they
had made a very good peach with each other. Shippou sat on Kaede’s shoulder and
looked over the camp, his ears was on the look out for anything suspicious. But
he was thinking about one particular thing. And it was not the fact that
Inuyasha had Motoko sleeping next to him now, nor was it the peace between the
wolf and the slayer. It was Kaede herself that made him very confused. She was
getting younger. The scent of humans aging decay was no longer on her, it was
rather the opposite. He could practically smell the rejuvenation of her cells.
But was Kaede aware of this herself? He had to tell her.
-
Kaede-obaasan?
-
What is it Shippou-chan? asked
Kaede and smiled gently towards the little fox.
-
I think something is happening
to you…
-
Happening to me… what do you
mean Shippou?
-
Your scent… it’s different. You
don’t smell like an old human anymore, he said rather bluntly.
-
W-what?
-
No… it’s more like the opposite
obaasan… as if you were getting younger. Don’t you feel different too?
Kaede got a wondering
look in her only eye and then she nodded. Indeed she did feel a lot younger than
she had in years. She could go on longer before needing a break and her body
seemed to get stronger too not only her stamina. She looked at her hand and
surely they looked better too…
-
And everything began when
Inuyasha-oyaji came back with Motoko-kaasan, said Shippou. Now when they were
alone he let his guard down and used the honorific he had used towards his
biological parents. It was not the first time and Kaede was smiling when she
heard it. And she was glad that the little kit saw her as a grandmother too.
-
Indeed my young pup, said Kaede
and used the word she had heard Inuyasha use with Shippou. – Indeed, it was the
day I began to feel a lot better too. And Motoko-san is changing too as you
might have heard. Many mysterious things are happening around us, but I can not
feel that they are harmful towards us, do you Shippou-chan?
He shook his head. That
was true, it didn’t feel like it was dangerous in anyway. He was glad that Kaede
was getting younger, it meant that she would be with them longer and he would
hate to lose her to old age. He loved her just like a grandmother. He hugged her
before they stirred life into Ginta and Hakkaku so they could take the next
watch.
~~~~~~••○••~~~~~~
Not many miles away from
them a large, white haired male with optic enhanced glasses found a place to
stay in an old inn. The family housing him feared him, but he was one of the
good guys, the problem was that he would never get a chance to prove it to the
poor people. They just showed him the room, and he searched his pockets and
found a peace of money, they just looked at him and shook their heads. The man
of the house said it was an honour to have a noble guest in the house; he would
stay for free of course. During the day of travelling he had come to one
conclusion… he just had to be in the past. No wonder his paper money didn’t do
the trick here. He sighed and rested his head against the wall. He would just
rest for a little while before moving on. He had heard that a group of nine was
travelling towards the north. And amongst them was a red dressed man with silver
hair. A youkai they said – a demon. Batou just snorted.
“Poor uneducated bastards.”
Tomorrow he would try and
catch up with them and take Major Kusanagi back home.
