In Kaede's hut.......

"My child don't sob. They are really nice girls. They are just insecure about themselves. Give them time my child, Give them time" Kaede was holding a crying beauty. InuYasha standing outside the door listening to sad sobs that were tearing his heart in two. InuYasha's sadness turned to anger as Kagome and Sango approached.......................

Chapter 3

They were still deep in conversation. They had no idea InuYasha was standing there. "We really need to do something about her," " She has taken both our men's attention away from us." "How dare she!!"

"Stop It, both of you stop it now!" InuYasha growled, not wanting Kaede and Elizabeth to hear. "How dare you talk about her like that. She has done nothing but try to be both of your friends. This is how you repay her? And me being yours Kagome?? How could I love a heartless back stabbing bitch! I though you were different Kagome. Elizabeth showing here has showed me the true person you are."

Little did InuYasha know those words would be the start of something terrible.

"I'm sorry InuYasha." Kagome sputtered. "We really do like Elizabeth...I think we're just jealous. We will try. I promise, we will try hard to make it up to Elizabeth." She let false tears fall from her eyes.

InuYasha's eyes and voice softened. "I'm sorry Kagome I did not mean what I said about you." He was still weary not knowing if Kagome was sincere. "Elizabeth's feelings are hurt, I don't think she would want to see you both right now."

"Are you excusing us?" Sango asked in shock. InuYasha nodded. "How dare....." A low growl cut her off. The girls turned and headed off to be out of ear shot of InuYasha.

Once they knew they were out of ear shot Kagome hissed "We have to get rid of her....but how?" "Didn't sesshomaru want her?" Sango replied."Yes I should have never wanted to save her. She's ruining everything." Sango nodded in agreement "Maybe somehow we could get Sesshomaru to take her back," " Do you think he would want her??" "We will never know until we ask" Evil grins spread across their faces.

Back in Kaede's hut..........

"InuYasha is that you outside the door?" Kaede looked up as she spoke. "Yes, Kaede may I come in plea" "" "Yes, come in my son." When InuYasha entered the room his heart broke. He could not stand to see her so sad. "You and Miroku need to chat before the nights end" Kaede whispered before she left the hut.

InuYahsa scratched at his head while walking toward Elizabeth."You ok?" "I am all right InuYasha, Thank you," she smiled at him. "Is there anything I can get for you?"InuYasha asked."I could really use a hug." InuYasha obliged.

Sesshomaru........................

"THEY WILL ALL PAY!!!!" "Lo...Lo.....Se....Lord Sesshomaru" "WHAT" He roared. "Your plan sir." "Ah yes Jaken I CANT WAIT! We are about to go to war with the Lord Kouga, I cannot be distracted." He kicked Jaken . "I have a new plan. Bring lord Kouga here and have him wait. Tell him I want to make a treaty with him. And bring him through the forest by the village. And do not bother the wench in my chambers, leave her be. She is our ally for the time being." "Yes, my lord" squawked Jaken still crumpled on the floor. Sesshomaru left the room chuckling "A handful of birds with one stone."

Miroku................

I cant believe she let that dirty mutt see her naked. He thought. When she becomes my mate I will never let that happen. He will taint my beautiful angel. I hope she likes these flowers I picked for her, Nothing can compare to her beauty though. Miroku entered the hut just as InuYasha was wrapping his arms around Elizabeth. He slowly backed out unnoticed.

OH SHIT! InuYasha thought. I don't think this looked good.

This time InuYasha and Elizabeth heard Miroku clear his throat before entering. He had tossed the flowers aside.

"Monk!'" She released InuYasha quickly and ran to Miroku embracing him tightly. "Where did you go off to? I missed you." She spoke as if she hadn't seen him in years. Miroku pushed her away. "Sure you did" he said sarcastically. "What??" She spoke her eyes filling with tears."I saw you embracing that mutt" The words were spat out with anger and sorrow. "I needed a hug Miroku, I waited for you but you were gone for so long." "So if we mate and I'm gone will you run to this mutt??" "Miroku ste ise is your friend and I....I...Love you." And she ran out of the hut in tears.

"How dare you hurt her" InuYasha growled as he circled Miroku. "Aww do you have feelings for her, enough feelings to steal her from me?" Kagome saw Elizabeth running from the hut and giggled in delight until she heard the voices inside the hut."Yes I have feelings for her, She is like a sister to me. I would never steal a potential mate from you. I love Kagome and always will." Kagomes jaw dropped wide open, How could I be so mean and stupid she thought. How come he never told me this?? The voices snapped her out of her thoughts."Then why were you holding her" "Because she was crying you moron!" "Oh....." Miroku's voice lowered. "I'm sorry InuYasha I have never felt like this for anyone, I haven't even let my hands roam." "So I've noticed" InuYasha chuckled. "Keep control of yourself Miroku, You are my best friend but I will not hesitate to hurt you. Don't ever make her cry again. Go to her NOW!" "She is lucky to have a friend or shall I say brother like you InuYasha as am I. Thank you.....and maybe you should tell Kagome how you really feel...." "GO!!!!" InuYasha broke in. Miroku quickly headed in the direction Elizabeth ran.

"InuYasha" Kagome spoke while entering the hut. "Im sorry" and she began to sob. "Kagome ... why?" "I love you InuYasha I though I was going to lose you to Elizabeth, Until I heard you fighting with Miroku." "You heard that" He felt his cheeks blush. "Don't be embarrassed InuYasha. I have waited for a lifetime to hear those words from your mouth. Though I do wish they were directed at me." She hung her head. InuYasha Lifted Kagomes chin gently and whispered "I love you Kagome with all my heart. I will never love another." He watched as tears streamed down her cheek." I love you...." InuYasha cut her off and began to kiss her deeply. More passionately than either of them had ever kissed.
They stopped only due to the lack of oxygen and went back for more. "InuYasha" She broke the kiss, he pouted. "I need to find Elizabeth." "WHY?" His voice a little stern and upset. "I want to apologize, I feel terrible. Promise me you will never leave me." "I promise I will never leave you my love." They kissed once more and head out of the hut to find Elizabeth.

"Where is Sango" Kaede asked InuYasha and Kagome. "Come to think of it I haven't seen her since yesterday." Kagome said sounding puzzled. "NO!" Kagome screamed "She couldn't have!!!" Kagome gathered her bow and took off running in the direction Miroku went.
