- Fine delicate letters graced the paper, she re-read the letter over and over hoping that she might of over looked something. But there written in ink were words that sent waves of fear down through her body.
Her eyes snapped open and out of instinct she tried backing away, coming in contact with the bark of the tree, a wisp of a smile graced his features as he leaned in toward her. Frightened she stood to leave only to have her arm snatched and pinned to her body. Slamming her up against the ridgid trunk he kept her immoblizide by bearing down most of his weight on her hips and torso. Breathing into her ear he spoke;
“ Child...we both know what you want, if you play by my rules you just might get what you desire.”
Shivers coursed through her body at the feel of his breath, closing her eyes she inhaled only to breathe in his scent. Opening her eyes she stared into his uncharacteristically warm liquid honey ones.
“ What do I have to do?” He lowered his gaze to the crook of her neck and as he began nuzzling her he said,
“ You’ll find out soon enough...just leave the rest to me.” That being said he roughly pushed her aside and turned to leave, she watched him silently as he left only taking in a big breath and letting it out when he was well out of sight. Nursing the minor wounds on her body she made way back to the shared hut. Entering as silently as possible she sparwled out on her futon and despite the events of the last hour or so, her eyes closed to a dreamless sleep. The next morning she woke to the painfully bright light entering through the small window in the hut. Annoyed she shrugged the covers off and gathered her bathing things all the while trying to convince herself that last nights incident had only been a weird dream.
