As the red haze left Inu-Yasha�s
eyes, he looked down to see Kagome in the hands of his brother, and blood in
the water around her body. �Oh Kami what have we
done??� he shook his head in disbelief as his mind finally wrapped around the
idea that he had just hurt his best friend and the woman he loved.

�What did we do?� the half demon kept on muttering. For the
first time in a long time he felt tears of regret and anguish splash down his
face. He fell to his knees in front of Sesshoumaru
and Kagome. �I let my beast out and now I have betrayed all of the trust she gave
me� he mourned.

�Stop your whining Inu-Yasha, we
must clothe the miko and then you and I must talk� Sesshoumaru growled out. �We did what had to be done, if
any other demons had gotten to her because of her new scent, they would have
done far worse to her before ripping her into small miko
pieces.�

Inu-Yasha shook as he took the
pale miko from his brothers
arm. Gently he laid her on the grass near her belongings and reached for her
clothes. With shaking hands he gently ran his fingers over every bruise and
scratch that they had put on her small body. He clothed her to the best of his
ability leaving off the strange undergarment that was supposed to bind her
chest.

The last thing Inu-Yasha did was
to gently nuzzle the mark he had left on her right shoulder, the mark that
stated to every demon in the world that she was his. He then checked to see
that she was sleeping soundly and walked off a while to talk things out with
his brother, the only other being he had to contend with for Kagome.

The brothers silently scanned the area, and sensing no
demons anywhere near the springs, the walked off into the neighboring forest to
discuss what was going to happen.

A few minutes after they had left her, Kagome struggled to
gain consciousness. Her miko and now demon powers
quickly patching up the damage the brothers had done to her body. However, the
pain they left in her mind, heart and soul could not be repaired so easily.

�ahh,
what? What happened to me?� she muttered to herself. And then reality hit her
and she watched as her mind replayed every step of her rape again. She
remembered how her best friend had dug his claws into her as he proceeded to
thrust into her, and how the pain had blinded her. She looked over to her side
to see the sash that had been her gag, and she turned over and threw up in the
grass.

�I wish they had killed me!� she cried out loud. She pulled
her knees up to her chest and proceeded to cry until her eyes burned and her
soul felt empty.

When there were no more tears to cry, she picked herself up
and unconsciously grabbed her bag and started to walk toward the village.

Kagome couldn�t remember the walk to the village, she just
walked into Kaede�s hut and fell to the floor .

�Kagome! What happened, oh my Kami, Kagome whats wrong?� Sango
cried out looking at her friend�s beaten form.

In short and halted sentences, Kagome managed to tell Sango,
Miroku, Shippo and Kaede what basically happened. She couldn�t force herself
to give any details, just the fact that Inu-Yasha and
Sesshoumaru had attacked and rapped her and left her
alone on the grass by the springs.

�I am going to kill them!!!!� Sango declared, her slayer
instinct telling her that both demons would pay for what they did!

�Why would Inu-Yasha of all people
attack you Kagome?� Miroku asked softly. �It must
have something to do with how your aura changed when you killed Naraku! Your Holy aura changed and seemed to mix with a
demonic aura, however they seem to be working together instead of one trying to
purify the other� he mused out loud.

Kaede walked to the small shrine
in her hut and took out the completed jewel. The shards had fused together in
the final moment when Kagome had purified Naraku. �This
belongs to you Kagome, what do you plan on doing now?� she asked gently to the dazed
girl.

�I need to go home, back to my family and my time. The time
portal in the well needs to be sealed so that no other being can go through it
ever again. But I can�t just leave all of my friends behind! Sango, Shippo, Miroku, I could never
leave without you guys. �I love you all!�
Kagome cried out.

�Then don�t! I want to see your world Kagome, if I can I
would like to come with you, I have nothing else here, my brother and family
have all been killed, and you are the only family I have left� Sango cried out
as she knelt by her friends side and gave her a large hug, gently rocking her
friend.

�Kagome, you are like my mom now, I want to be with you
forever, please take me home with you!� said the crying little fox demon.

�And I could never leave two beautiful young girls alone by
themselves, I to shall accompany you to the future� Miroku
stated confidently.

�I love you all, and yes you all will come with me! But how
do I seal the well so that no other demons can follow us?� Kagome muttered to
herself.

�The jewel of course� this came from Kaede
on the other side of the hut. �You are the strongest miko
in the land Kagome. If you take the jewel to the other side of the well and
seal it with your blood and determination, nothing and nobody will ever be able
to cross time through that portal�

�Ok guys, lets go quickly before Inu-Yasha
or any other demon finds me!� Kagome said, as she felt her heart break again
thinking about how the one man she had loved, had
almost destroyed her.

And with that the Monk, the Demon Slayer, the Fox, the Miko and Kirara walked over to
the Bone Eater�s Well. One at a time they jumped into
the well. Kagome was the last person to enter the well, and as the group caught
her, they were all transported back to Kagome�s time.

After the group pulled themselves
from the well, they chanted together as Kagome cut her hand and chanted out an
ancient spell (of which she had no clue as to how she even knew it) and the well
was sealed. Never again would another being use that doorway.

However, Whilst Kagome and her
friends were planning their trip to the future, Inu-Yasha
and Sesshoumaru had been discussing (with fists as
well as words) what was to be done about their miko,
and the pups she was now carrying.
