- Chapter One
Breath Out, Breath In
"Your Father will come," a hushed voice that was not heard by anyone whispered. The voice was full of sadness and longing. "Your Father will come." Words repeated like a mantra. Wanting to believe it but couldn't rely on anything because fear was gripping the heart. Hands were shaking and stroking a swollen belly. Hair covering eyes from the view. Body trembling in fear. Another phrase kept repeating, but kept in mind, not said aloud. What if he doesn't come back?

Deep breaths. Calm down, you will survive this. Inuyasha thought as he walked along side his friends. His first heat was making him itchy in every meaning of the word. He knew to expect it as he had witnessed his brother's first heat and insanity at that moment. He was so glad that his demon blood didn't get hold of him because of Tessaiga by his side. Without it, he suspected he would be raving mad because of lust.
His nerves were worse than usual. He couldn't remember any other time when he had gotten as much "Osuwari's" as he did in the past few days. He couldn't keep his tongue at bay and he kept lashing at Kagome. Now even the scent of her made him sick but had to endure it. He would get through this and make even Sesshoumaru proud.
Only a couple of weeks and it would be over for several years which seemed to go by too fast some times. He couldn't believe he had been on this journey with Kagome for three years already. He was too occupied by his thoughts that he didn't notice someone approaching them. Suddenly when the wind blew against his face, all too familiar scent reached his nose, making him froze. He clenched his hand into a fist and gritted his teeth together. No, no, not now! his mind screamed. He wasn't ready for this.
His companions didn't notice anything amiss until the youkai's in their group noticed the approaching danger.
Inuyasha took a deep breath before turning to meet his doom. "Sesshoumaru," his voice trembled but not by his choice. His Brother's scent made him weak. He was too horny to fight Sesshoumaru at this point. He would be killed without him even making attempt to save his own life.
