PART 3
It was time to
move again. Sango knew this by heart now. She had again done something that
made it impossible for her to stay in this place. It was always like this. She
was always on the move. The longest she had stayed in one place was two years,
then something happened and she had to move on once again. She looked over the
very sparsely furniture apartment before she nodded and lifted up the backpack
and then she left.
The only thing
this time was that she really didn’t want to leave. All the other times she had
to move she did so without remorse or longing, but not this time. The work at
the library had really suited her taste. The people at the library, they had
accepted her without any questions and they didn’t treat her as a freak like
many others had. The land-lady had said that Sango was a nice girl and she had looked
after Sango as a mother would look after her daughter, always treating Sango to
dinner or sweet treats. She was going to miss them all, but she had to move or
else they could get into trouble because of her and she didn’t want that.
And then there
was this young man… She had seen it in his eyes, he liked her. He wasn’t afraid
of her nor was he afraid of her strength and power..
It had been quite the opposite – he had liked it. He had been excited over her
strength.. And that was something she wasn’t used too.
Almost any man that had come close to her had turned their backs against her
once they realized that she probably was fifteen times stronger then them and she didn’t need them to protect her but it
was the other way around. But this guy… he hadn’t looked at her with disgust in
his eyes… no he had looked at her as if she was….
She shook her
head and tried not to think about the young man that had caught her attention
at the library. ‘Don’t think about him.
Just forget about him… you’re going to move again and you will never see him
again so just forget about the guy alright!!’ Although a large part of her
brain and not to mention her heart would have liked to get to know him a little
bit better. ‘At least get him into bed
once…’ the naughty voice in her head supplied very subtle.
Sango growled as
she slipped her keys into the landlady’s box.
This part of her
life was now over and she needed to move on once again. As of now – there was
only one way for her to go – and that was the train station. A new city, a new
location was needed. To disappear once again, like she had so
many other times before.
‘If I just get out of here I will forget about him. He
will just be a faint memory once I find a new place to live…’ Sango thought as she walked through the crowded
streets as she headed towards the train station. And surely she believed it.
She had done this before and she was going to do it again. Just letting
everything go and move on.
Well, that had
been her plan until she almost reached the train station and was frozen stiff
because of a voice she never thought she would hear again.
“And where the hell do you think you’re
going… woman?!!”
~¨~¨~
One and a half
day at a police-station had Kyohei on his toes. He refused to tell the police
about what happened or who had done such macabre rescue of the hostages. He
only said he had been buzzed by a tazer and was too
dazed to notice anything until the medics put him into an ambulance. He didn’t
see anything. What was amazing to him was that everyone else had given just
about the same statement as him. None had seen anything nor could they tell why
the desperados either missed hands or had their knee’s cut off.
In his mind this
woman had been a savior. If it had not been for her, they would most likely be
dead by now and he was sure that was the very same thing that the others had
thought about too when they gave their statement. At least he would be dead,
but the women in the hostage-group – God knows what
would have happened to them. But even so – that didn’t mean that he had
forgotten about her. He could still see her very clearly in his mind’s eye.
The
Amazon woman with the silent singing sword. He wanted to meet her again. But the only problem
was, when he managed to speak with some of the staff of the library, they just
told him that her name was Sango and that they had been sworn to secrecy by her
not to reveal anything else. And those dusty old hags were very honor-bounded,
so they didn’t tell him anything else. Only that she had appeared one day, she
had great knowledge of Japan’s history and could move around the library with
ease. She had been hired with no other questions asked.
So he had
wandered off, trying to find this woman that had put his heart and soul in the
middle of an earthquake. And finally, after asking around for several hours he
found a lead.
A
lead that led him to an old house with an equally old woman. An old woman in tears might I add. She was
devastated. What Kyohei learned was that her daughter, or rather the young
woman she considered to be her daughter had left, leaving only a note telling
the old woman that it was time for her to leave but said thank you for the time
spent in this house and she had also left her keys behind.
Kyohei read the
note and wondered if she had a car or something else to travel by. But the old
woman just shook her head. And in the sobbing mumblings he could make out that
this woman that left was afraid of flying so that ruled out airplanes as well.
The only thing left was the train station or the bus station, he choose the
train-station first.
‘Just let me find her before she disappears…’ he silently prayed as he rushed through the doors of
the train station. He brushed passed busy people,
traveling people, or just people that were there to greet other travelers. He
had to find her… he just had too. ‘Don’t
leave just yet… Let me see you even if for a moment… you damn woman!!’
Kyohei dashed
out through “back doors” of the terminal and began to search for the woman who
saved him. At first he couldn’t see anything but ordinary people… but then…
There she was,
standing next to an old rugged back pack.
His
savior.
He ran towards
the figure and as she turned around he shouted.
“And where the hell do you think you’re
going… woman?!!”
~¨~¨~
For the first
time in her life Sango felt some of a kin of panic.
The blonde man was running towards her and she had no place to hide. She was
left out in the open, exposed! This was not supposed to happen!! She was just
going on the train and then she would be forgotten. That was the plan – that
was always the plan!
“Don’t you dare
get on that train woman!” Suddenly the voice was much
closer then before.
Sango blinked
and noticed that she suddenly was grabbed by two strong hands. She tilted her
head up and drowned in a pair of blazing brown eyes.
“I will not let
you disappear out of my life you darn woman!! I’ve gone through hell because of
you and I’ve seen you in your panties!! You damn owe me one!!”
‘Ehhh?’ Sango blinked before she realized what he was talking
about. And then the color rose on her cheeks and she began to fume. The reality
hit her in the face like a ton of bricks. This guy…. This guy had pulled her
pants down!! He was the one that had exposed her legs and undies!!
“Just drop your damn act and tell me that you’re not
going anywhere!” he demanded.
Sango’s eyes narrowed as she took a defensive stance.
No man would ever tell her what to do.
“Try it and I’ll show you what it would be like to
fight a real man!!” the blond youth growled.
Sango struggled to get free but his grip was far too
tight for her to get free from unless she used more force. But more force would
make more people look at them. More would notice them, notice her and Sango
just wanted to blend in with the rest of the “grey” travelers.
“Let me go!!” Sango snarled quietly.
“And I said to drop this damn act of yours and tell me
that you’re not going anywhere!!” he answered her.
“Who the hell do you think you are?”
“The man that pulled down your pants and got away with
it,” smirked Kyohei as he pulled the struggling woman
more close to his body. “And… let’s just say… your blood stained teddy bear undies was quite arousing…”
Sango grounded her teeth together before looking up
into his taunting dark eyes.
“How did you find me?” asked Sango.
The blond young man laughed darkly.
“Well, it wasn’t easy I tell ya
that!! Damn – you’re like a shadow amongst many shadows. But I managed to trace
you back to where you lived. You know… you broke that old woman’s heart by
leaving without a single word,” Kyohei said as he became more serious.
“I left her a note,” Sango defended.
“A note… you know – she saw you as her daughter and
you left her… A Note!?? Don’t you
understand – it made it all worse for her!!”
Sango blinked a few times, that arrow really knew
where to hit her where she was most vulnerable but then her eyes started to
blaze once again.
“You have no right to judge me!!” Sango snarled
viciously but the guilt was starting to eat her soul out. She knew he was right
but damn he couldn’t judge her, he shouldn’t judge…
“No I don’t have the right to judge you; but that
woman has the right because she loves you like a daughter… and those old hags
at the library have the right because they saw you as a friend and a co-worker…”
Kyohei grabbed a fistful of black hair and his voice was lowered. “But damn…. I
wish I had the right because if I had…. You would be condemned to be with me
always!”
Sango’s throat made a hitched sound as his voice; his
words struck a dark cord within her soul. He was playing her like he would play
a fine instrument; it was like he knew how to make her quiver with every word
he said. And so close, he was so close now… too close. Just another inch and
she could be kissing him.
“Release me,” she whispered harshly.
“Like hell I will, you’ll come back with me to my
place and then we will talk things over. I will not let you leave.”
They were interrupted by the train that now moved into
the station. Sango fought to get loose, but the blond held her tightly and
refused to let her go.
“Let Me Go!!”
Sango warned with a voice thick of emotions.
“And I said NO!
I will not let you go, just come with me… there will be more trains later on,
but for now – You are coming with me!” And with that Kyohei embraced her in his
strong arms, making it impossible for Sango to move even an inch away from him.
“And perhaps… After our ‘little talk’ I might not let you
go… ever…”
Sango let out a snarling sound but at the same time
she relaxed. He had the upper hand and there was nothing she could do to fight
him. She was pulled away as he pushed her forward to the exit of the train
station. Her teeth were grinding and she wished she could fight him. But as it
was now – she couldn’t do shit.
“Relax woman, I’m not going to hurt you. All we’re
going to do is talk… well… we’re going to start talking and then who knows what
might happen,” Kyohei purred seductively into her ear as he pushed her in front
of him.
His voice held so many promises of things that it made
Sango shiver in anticipation. She mentally shook her head to get rid of the
thoughts, the images that suddenly appeared in her mind. And to tell the truth
none of these thoughts or images was below NC-17. And this annoyed Sango.
Why the hell would she be thinking about him in such
ways? Why should she even have the slightest attraction to him – she only met
the guy for a couple of moments. But deep inside… she already knew the answer.
He had not backed away that she in fact was a skilled warrior. He had not
backed away because she was able to protect herself and others. He had in fact
acknowledged that skill without hesitation. And that made him one in at least
ten thousand. And not to mention – it even seemed to make him even more
excited.
‘And yet he really did pull
down your panties in the middle of a fight…’ a voice echoed inside Sango’s head and her face lit up
in a bright red colour.
“Don’t even think about it woman… no matter what
you’re thinking about – you’re coming with me – NOW!!” Kyohei growled as he put
his arms around Sango’s waist and pulled her up and put her over his shoulder
like a bag of rise. “And don’t you dare scream. I hate when you girls scream!”
That made Sango lit up like a lighthouse.
“Who do you fuck call a girl??” she snarled
dangerously.
“You mean you aren’t a girl then?” Kyohei said as his
lips were pulled up in a masculine grin.
“No, I’m not a little girl!!”
“Good, then you will not scream right?” Kyohei smirked
as he pulled Sango with him out of the station.
Sango’s dark eyes narrowed – the damn brat had her
cornered. She stumbled after the forceful youth. And all she wanted was to
scream loudly to him to let her go. But she was not going to prove in any way
that she was a young girl that screamed for just about anything.
She was a fighter, she was a warrior and Sango would
die before she would do anything in the neighborhood of a damsel in distress.
“Good, now let’s get going and you can shout all you
want about this later. But right now I want you to…”
Kyohei didn’t get further in his speech when he
realized that they suddenly were surrounded by a lot of men with guns.
“You want me to what?” Sango snarled as she saw the
men close in on them.
“Fight perhaps? Because I don’t think girly tears
would work on these guys? You know ‘em by the way?”
asked Kyohei as he fisted his hands.
“She’s the one…” A man said and stepped forward with a
pistol in his hand. “She was the one that hurt our friends and made them fall
under enemy hands.”
Sango snarled as she realized that these were guys
that were in league with the men that had taken her library earlier. Men that she had rendered un-useful for the time being. But
that didn’t help now.
‘Dammit, dammit
it all to hell…’ she
silently cursed as her hand reached for her short sword. The only problem was
that she was not alone in this. No, she had to look out for this blond hot
headed fool at the same time. Not good. He just had to… fall down.
Sango blinked twice before she heard the soft growl
coming from the blond man now lying on the ground, he silently telling her to
do her fancy shit, while the guys were confused.
Sango didn’t need to be told twice as a small smirk
appeared on her full red lips.
Kyohei watched as Sango moved fluidly towards two pair
of guys and then he made his own move, with a swipe with his long legs he made
three other lose their footing, giving Sango enough time to render the two
first incapable of hurting either of them.
Sango was amazed how well they worked together. She
saw in the corner of her eyes how the other three stumbled and she quickly
moved around with her sword, cutting down on the arms that held the guns. Blood
was once again splattered around Sango and she could hear the shouts and howls
of pains and her smirk grew bigger.
“Tell your boss who ever that might be – that you’ll
never be able to take me down. Tell him that he’s a pathetic bastard that can’t
handle a real fight but tries to strike at old women and children. He’s not a
strong leader. I suggest you leave him,” Sango said as she walked over to a man
that was crawling on the ground, trying to keep his blood from flowing out of
his body. She wiped her sword against his back, cleaning it from blood. “And
tell him that I want to meet him, I refuse to fight against worthless little henchmen.”
The men crawled
away with frantic motions and Sango smiled as she put her sword away. They wouldn’t
bother her again any time soon. She shot a look at
the blond that was still sitting on the ground. She snorted and turned around
to walk back towards the station.
But there was no
such luck for Sango.
“And who the
hell said that you could walk out on me?” Kyohei asked got up and grabbed hold
of Sango’s arm and spun her around to face him.
‘Damn it all to hell,’ Sango thought as her hands moved up and gripped his
shirt and pulled his face down and kissed the annoying teen with a passion she
had harbored for him since the moment she saw him.

To Ezri-Candy: Yeah, Kyohei is one hot ”tomale”. He’s annoying and hot, all at the same time. If
you get around to also see the anime – you’re in for
something special too.
