Inuyasha and his group arrived at the
castle a month later like promised. But what met them was going forever be burnt
into their memories. Sesshoumaru ran around the courtyard, he was laughing � he
was being chased by a raging taijya with sparkling ruby eyes. She was furious
and very wet � she on the other hand was chased by Jaken and couple of maidens.

Lady Sango, please calm down, yelled Jaken
beginning to be out of breath. His lady was still too fast for him even if she
was heavy with child.

-
I will exterminate his demon ass!! snarled
Sango.

Lady Sango, it is not good for the baby, panted
the maids, they also had trouble of keeping up with the furious woman.

He will be sorry he ever laid his eyes on me!!
Inuyasha, Kagome and the rest of the
group gaped, their mouth sure to catch flies. Obviously Sesshoumaru had done
something to tick the taijya off. And since she was wet � it had something to do
with water.

SANGO-CHAN!!
yelled both Kagome and Kagura with one voice.

Oh hi guys, just hold on, I�ll be with you as
soon as I am finished with my bastard husband!! answered Sango and fetched a
bucket of water in her raging state.
But although Sesshoumaru found the
little chase entertaining they did had guests and they needed to be greeted
properly. He used his demonic speed to appear behind his flaming mate, but she
had gaining strength and speed through her fury and she managed to tip the
bucket of water all over his head. She laughed like a maniac and stopped
struggling against his form.

That should teach you never to throw water of
your sleeping mate, she giggled and grabbed hold of his collar and pulled his
head down so she could kiss him.

Mm, indeed I have learned something today, he
purred and forgot about their visitors as soon as Sango�s lips closed over his.

Did we have guests my love? she whispered and
pulled reluctantly away from Sesshoumaru.

Hmm, looks like it anyway. Too bad, I wanted to
hold you like this all day, my wet mate..
She slapped his shoulder, but he could
see that she was calmed down. The fierce ruby red colour was gone from her eyes
and replaced by her dark gentle shade.

Have you to finish your little play? snorted
Inuyasha. � or should we come back later?

I am sorry my dear brother, we were merely
killing some free time, smiled Sesshoumaru.

It looked more like you was the one who was
going to be killed, said Kagura.
Sesshoumaru chuckled and called for
Jaken and ordered him to show their guests to their rooms.

We will be joining you around dinner. Me and my
lady here need to get some dry clothes, said Sesshoumaru and picked up his
blushing mate into his arms.

You should not let her exhaust herself like
that Sesshoumaru-sama, said the old miko Kaede with a scolding voice.

Try to tell her that instead of me, I am trying
the best I can here, snickered the lord.

Say that again Sess, growled Sango.

See what I mean.. ?
Kaede smiled and nodded and saw him kiss
his mate again and walk away from them.

# Dinner time #

The women around the table were talking
about everything that had happened during their last month apart. Kagura was
happy to tell Sango about hers and Miroku�s expectations. Sango hugged the wind
witch fiercely. She was happy for them, even if Miroku no longer had the need
to ask every woman to bare his heir; this was truly a wonderful surprise. And
just to see the loving glow inside Kagura�s red eyes was enough to make Sango
cry out.
Kagura lowered her voice and moved her
head closer to Sango�s and whispered in her ear.

Do you see Kohaku-kun and Kanna-chan?

Mm, we noticed this when we found him. They are
in love, said Sango with a smile on her lips.

Kagura wanted to cry, but she held back,
she would save that to later.
And true, no one around the table could
miss the love that flowed between the two youngsters whom once had been so used
and hurt by Naraku. They were perfect for each other.

# Later at night #
Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha had found a
spot on the highest roof top of the castle, looking out over the western lands.
Sesshoumaru had put his arm around his little brother�s shoulders, pulling him
close to him.
Inuyasha felt a bit embarrassed but
could not deny it felt really good to be friends with his brother again.

Do you remember when I took you up here when
you still were a little pup? I showed you the all the places I would take you
when you grew up? asked Sesshoumaru.

No, I don�t, I am sorry niisan.

-
It�s ok, you was only a couple of years old
then. I am sorry for how I turned on you Inu-chan, I truly am � can you ever
forgive me brother?

Sesshoumaru, I already have.
Sesshoumaru felt a warm feeling spread
inside his chest and he pulled Inuyasha in for a bone crushing hug. He was glad
to feel Inuyasha return his affection.

-
Let us make our father proud by claiming his
lands as our to rule over together shall we?

-
Yes, let us do that niisan, said Inuyasha and
then they began howling.
The howling echoed through the land,
telling every youkai who was in charge over these lands.
