Chapter 39: Enter Naraku, The Evil Demon

A/N: Okay since Kikyo is no longer evil I had to bring in Naraku. If the jewel was in the story you had to know he would also make an appearance. Enjoy!
The young couple walked hand in hand through the densely wooded forest. The sun was setting low in the horizon coloring the evening sky in shades of pink and orange. Amaiya had been humming to herself mostly when she noticed that the entire forest had fallen deathly silent. Not a single bird could be heard throughout the vast canopy of green that was the treetops. �Koharu?�
�You feel it to Amaiya?�
�Yes, wha what is it?�
�I don�t know, but I feel an evil aura lurking in the air.� Koharu drew Amaiya closer to him as they continued on through the forest named after Amaiya�s father. They had been right about an evil aura lurking about. For not too far away a pair of blood red eyes watched them from the safety of the shadows. The pair of blood red eyes belonged to none other than the evil demon Naraku. He was the lord of all the forbidden lands just to the east of Lord Shiryu�s lands. This place was known as Hell on earth and not many were foolish enough to cross over into it�s borders. Naraku was a power hungry raving lunatic who obsessed over possessing the Shikon No Tama.

t hat had been rumored that he had forced the very soul from the miko known as Midoriko and that was how the eternally cursed jewel had come to exist. Other than Naraku�s fascination with the Shikon jewel not much else was really known about the demon. A faint breeze rustled through the trees as Naraku�s unwilling servant Kagura, the wind sorceress landed beside him. �Does the girl have the Shikon No Tama in her possession Kagura?�
�No my lord, it is not with her.�
�Then I shall not take her just yet for she is o use use to me unless she has the jewel. Come let us return to my palace.� Kagura nodded and followed her master back to their wasteland of a home. Once back inside Naraku�s black stone palace overlooking the desolate tundra of the barren lands Kagura had decided to ask her master the question that had been burning in her mind.
�Lord Naraku?�
�Yes Kagura?�
�What is it that you will do with Inuyasha�s daughter when you capture her?�
�Since thikohikon jewel was given to Amaiya, she is now it�s protector. If I am successful in filling her heart with hatred then the jewel will become tainted with malice as well causing it to become even more powerful.�
�And after you have possession of the jewel, what shall become of the girl?�
�I shall force her into a union with myself so that I can attain the precious Western lands of course.�
�Amaiya will refuse this my lord.�
�Ah Kagura, that is why I shall use force. Now let us retire to my chambers.� Kagura shuddered at the thought of being dragged into Naraku�s chambers. The picture of Naraku laying over her almost made her skin crawl. It wasn�t that Naraku was not a handsome man. He was by far one of the most beautiful and perfect creatures Kagura had ever laid eyes on. Naraku was just intolerably wicked and would kill at the slightest whim.
He had had a mate for a short time. She was in fact very lovely and a princess as well. Naraku had become angry when it was discovered that his lovely bride was unable to have children. The fact that she could bare him no heirs threw him into a rage and he killed her without a second thought. After the murder of his mate he had taken up a fascination with Kagura. Then she had been forced to lay with him whenever he wished. Naraku�s cold voice cut through her thoughts like razors. �Come Kagura, I wish to be inside you.� Kagura reluctantly took Naraku�s offered arm and allowed herself to be led into his chambers. She flinched when the door to his chambers was slammed shut and then locked behind her.
Naraku reached around Kagura and quickly unfastened the obi on her black silk kimono. She bit her lower lip as she felt Naraku pull the kimono off her shoulders. Her crimson pools flicked downward to watch the kimono fall around her ankles in a heap of inky black material. Then she tensed up when she felt Naraku�s lips on the nape of her neck.
His hot breath caressed her creamy skin as he whispered against her slender neck. �You are so beautiful, your body never ceases to amaze me no matter how many times I have buried myself inside you.� Kagura closed her eyes as she felt his calloused hands slip around and up to cup her full pert breasts.
