Hello everyone! It has been a while but I have finally completed the last chapter of this story. I had such a hard time writing this because well it is the ending and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to end it, since my last chapter was good for the ending as well. HOWEVER I figured you all might wanna know about Kenchi and how Amaya’s wish comes true and maybe even know what happens in the future with the Amaya we all have come to love (hopefully lol) this chapter was suppose to be short and sweet life 5 pages but it exploded into a whole 19 pages so anyways I hope you all enjoy the last chapter. Read and enjoy!!

Epilogue
~*****~ In Amaya’s Time Period 244 Years into the future~*****~
A tall, slender woman stomps down the hallways of a grand castle in the Western lands, her golden eyes narrow and glaring, long ankle length silver hair that is in a high pony tail braid whipped behind her along with tail, her dog ears on her head twitched every which way as her fists clenched by her side nearly ripping the fabric of her silk red with flower’s kimono; her whole being radiated pissed off. Guards and servants moved out of her way and kept their heads bowed so not to make eye contact with the pissed off half-demoness.
She made her way to the end of the hall and threw open the double doors making them slam against the wall making them crack on protest to the abuse. She stormed into the room that was filled with shelves of book, a desk and couch, the two people inside the room looked up at the pissed off half-demoness, not bothered by the outburst as it was quiet common with her.
“Amaya? What happened?” One of the occupants asked closing the book in his hand as he sat up from the couch he was relaxing on, his puppy dog ears on top of his head stood perked up in her direction.
Amaya stood there and looked from her Papa on the couch to the other occupant, her Father, who was sitting at the desk with paper work.
Sesshomaru sighed and put down his ink pen and sat back in his chair, “What did Ryuu do?” He asked in a bored tone.
“How do you know it was Ryuu?” Inuyasha asked.
“Amaya is never this angry unless something happened between her and Ryuu, truly have you not noticed this?” Sesshomaru asked.
Inuyasha brought a hand up to his chin in thought, “Huh…Now that you mention it, I guess so.”
Sesshomaru looked from Inuyasha to his raging daughter, “I ask again what Ryuu has done this time?”
Amaya growled and then turned to her Father with narrowed eyes, “I want the bitch out of here!” She yelled.
Inuyasha and Sesshomaru exchanged looks of confusion, before turning back to Amaya. “Would this bitch you be talking about be Lady Azumi, Princess of the Eastern lands?” Sesshomaru asked.
“Yes! I know that you and Papa invited them here to resign the treaty contract, but that stupid slut if all over MY RYUU! I promised you I could not kill or hurt her, but if you don’t send her away I may have to go back on my word,” Amaya seethed.
“Amaya-” Inuyasha started but it seemed Amaya wasn’t done with her rant.
“And that stupid man whore, guess what he is doing about it?” Amaya paused in a dramatic effect. “NOTHING! He is allowing it!! For fuck sakes! We just announced that this mating season we would be mated!! GAW!!” Amaya grabbed her head in her anger and started pacing her eyes flashing red and tail whipping about in her rage.
“Amaya-” Sesshomaru started but was once again interrupted.
“Oh and don’t think Ryuu will get away with this! He has always gotten jealous whenever a male has shown interest in me but I have ALWAYS turned them down and told them that Ryuu was the only one for me and now he has the balls to let some whiny, prissy, princess bitch hang off of him and he thinks I will let him get away with that?! Hell no! And that isn’t even the worst of it!! He…He let…They…” Amaya slowed down her pacing and then stopped her tail lay limp behind her as her mood changed; she slowly turned to her parents her eyes glistening with unshed tears, and with a shuddering breath whispered, “Kissed.”
Sesshomaru and Inuyasha immediately shot up from their seats, “What?!”
Amaya nodded, “They… kissed!” she fell to her knees and cried.
Inuyasha was immediately by her side kneeled on the floor; he wrapped his arms around her and held her close while she clung to him crying. He kissed the top of her head and then turned to look at Sesshomaru who had also come to his daughter’s side.
Sesshomaru could never keep his emotions in check when it came to Amaya, she was his only daughter and also because of their past with her, he was extremely protective. His eyes showed sympathy for her as he put a hand on her head and soothes back her hair in a comforting motion, he then glared out into the hallway, his anger showing, and no one hurt his daughter. He and Lord Osamu will need to have a talk about his daughter and Ryuu will need a firm reminder about loyalty to one’s future mate. Sesshomaru patted her head, “where are they?”
Amaya choked a sob and looked up at her Father, “The Garden, on the east side… I saw them… From the balcony of the dining hall... Maybe I should call off the mating,” Amaya cried. “If he feels forced and wishes to mate another I should allow him that, we were nothing but pups when we declared to mate and I don’t want him to be with me just because of a promise,” Amaya’s lips trembled at her own words and cried harder.
“Now Amaya don’t make any decisions yet, we will get to the bottom of this we promise,” Inuyasha said and then looked at Sesshomaru who nodded in agreement.
“Don’t worry I will deal with this matter, very swiftly.” He then stood up and left the room.
Amaya sniffled and whipped at her eyes and watched as her Father left the room, his youkai flaring in his anger. She then looked up at her Papa, who smiled down at her. “Don’t worry, if Sesshomaru has any say in the matter, and he does, you won’t have to see her again.” Inuyasha said. Amaya just nodded and hugged her Papa. “Come, let’s get you fixed up, sadness does not suit your beautiful face.” Inuyasha stood up and helped Amaya up as well he grabbed her chin and made her look up at him, “Smile for me?” Amaya stared into her Papa’s eyes and smiled at him. “That’s my girl,” he then took her hand and together they walked to her room.
Meanwhile Sesshomaru made his way towards the dining hall, where he came across Lord Osamu. “Lord Sesshomaru has something happened? I sensed something a miss in the air,” He asked. Lord Osamu is an Eagle demon, his skin is tan and he has sharp brown eyes with long brown and silver hair. Being a flying demon he was more in tune with the winds and air that surround him.
“Yes it would seem something has happened, it happens to be in regards of your daughter,” Sesshomaru said, his stone mask back firmly in place.
“Azumi? What happened to her?” Lord Osamu seemed to grow worried.
“It is not what has happened to her but what she has done.”
Confusion replaced worry at Sesshomaru’s words, “What did she do?”
“It would seem that she disregards the claim of mating between my eldest son and my daughter and seeks to interfere with it.”
“What? Azumi knows better especially regarding your family, we are allies not enemies seeking to destroy your family,” Lord Osamu seems appalled at this.
“Regardless my daughter was witness to Lady Azumi attempting, and may have already, ruin their mating by seeking Ryuu out and tempting him to leave my daughter by kissing him. If my daughter decided to cancel her mating because of what your daughter did you will find the treaty in the fire and my fury upon your doorstep.”
Lord Osamu’s eyes widened in fear and then growled, “Do not worry I will find out what is going on here and if Azumi has done something I will surrender to whatever punishment you see fit, I have no ill will towards you or your family and I hope that we may get past this.”
“We shall see,” Sesshomaru said.
“RYUU!! You can’t get away from me that easily, please speak with me!” A female voice shouted.
Sesshomaru and Lord Osamu recognized the voice as Azumi and walked over to the balcony, they looked down to see Azumi reach out to stop Ryuu who had his back to her and looked to be walking away.
Lady Azumi, a full demon, has long silver and brown hair, just like her Father’s but her Mother’s silver eyes. Her rosy red lips pouted when Ryuu turned and glared at her. Her fine polished claws were slapped away and she put them to her chest, she wore a silver and gold kimono with shooting stars design.
“I have nothing to say to you, Lady Azumi,” Ryuu growled out, his stone mask slipping in his anger towards the eagle demoness. He stood tall and proud just like his Father with his long tail wrapped around him just like Sesshomaru’s, his long ankle length silver hair blew in the wind and his piercing golden eyes told of his furry towards her. “What you have done is considered treason, you pretended to trip into me and then as an honorable Lord I caught you and then you proceeded to kiss me, you know that I have a future mate, Amaya, you were at the ceremony which announced such, and yet you still thought what? That if you kissed me I would change my mind and mate you? Amaya will be my mate she is the one my youkai calls for and whom I love.”
“Why? Why won’t you change your mind and mate me? I am more beautiful then her, I would be a better mate, I would not cause you trouble as I have seen her do, I will not question you or disrespect you as she does, I am a full demon, I am stronger,” Lady Azumi said.
Ryuu’s eyes flashed red at her words, “You will watch your tongue you insolent wretch, Amaya is more beautiful than anyone in this world, I love her because she questions me and is not afraid stand her ground against me. I do not want a mate that is weak and bends to my will and follows me like a whiny lap dog. Amaya is worth more to me then my own life and you question her blood? We are siblings we have the same blood, you claim that being a full demon is worth something in this Ryuu’s eyes, it is not, as for stronger we both know that Amaya is far stronger then you or even a hundred of you.”
“Don’t make me laugh you have the looks and the power of a full demon, she has those ears that and to everyone you are one but her ears scream that she is only partially demon, our children would not have such ears,” Azumi sneered.
“You now dare insult not only my mate but Lord Sesshomaru’s mate, you have a death wish, and I am close to granting it,” Ryuu growled.
“Ryuu please see reason, I am the better choice, even Amaya knows it, and after all she did see our kiss and did nothing to stop us. Instead she ran away, like-” Azumi was interrupted by a large growl from Ryuu.
“What. Did. You. Just. Say?!” Ryuu’s youkai flared in rage at her words, “Amaya saw what you did?”
“Yes she was on the balcony when it happened, see I am the better choice you were so focused on me that you didn’t even feel her presence,” Azumi smiled.
Ryuu’s youkai flared brightly causing the winds to pick up, “if you in any way caused Amaya to doubt our mating I will personally end your life,” Ryuu’s eyes bleed red, he was on the verge of transforming when suddenly his Father appeared in front of him and growled out for him to calm down. Seeing his Father calmed Ryuu down slightly but not enough to lose his glare on Azumi.
“Lord Sesshomaru I was-”
“Azumi that is enough!” Lord Osamu growled. He walked over to her and backhanded her across the face.
Azumi’s head flew to the side and she slowly brought her hand up to her cheek and looked in shock at her father. “Father?”
“I have heard enough, do you have any idea what your words could have just cost us? Our lands? Our People? I raised you better to know that what you are doing is wrong and yet you went against my teaching for your own selfish reasons. You insult Lord Ryuu’s future mate and you insulted Lord Sesshomaru’s mate, have you lost your mind? Your words and actions have consequences you could have just ruined Lord Ryuu’s and Lady Amaya’s mating and insulted the heritage of Lord Sesshomaru’s family they have every right to deny the signing of the treaty and they could take us to war.”
“All I want is to be with Ryuu,” Azumi said.
“That is Lord Ryuu to you,” Sesshomaru growled.
“I want to be with Lord Ryuu, we could join our lands together with our mating!” Azumi tried to reason.
“That is not for you to decide, now you will shut your mouth this instant,” Lord Osamu looked at Sesshomaru and bowed low at the waist. “I am so sorry Lord Sesshomaru I know that my daughter’s actions are unforgivable, is there anything I could do to try and repair the damage that has been done?”
“Lord Osamu we have been close friends since the war, your daughter’s actions, as this Sesshomaru can see, is hers alone. Ryuu, my son, would you appose to her being confined to the dungeons until we can evaluate the situation and see to what extent the damage she has caused?”
Ryuu growled but decided that it would be a good idea to keep her locked up and away from himself and Amaya until he can talk to her, slowly he nodded.
“She will remain the dungeons until our meeting is complete. Her punishment will then be decided by Ryuu for her treason against himself, as for her treason against this Sesshomaru, she will be banned from my lands and if she steps forth upon my lands without consent from this Sesshomaru she will treated as an enemy of the West and killed,” Sesshomaru growled. “Do you object Lord Osamu?”
“No Lord Sesshomaru,” He then turned to his daughter, “You will go with the guards quietly you will speak to no one, do you understand me?”
“But-” Azumi started to protest, but the look her father gave her silenced her. “Yes father…Even though I did nothing wrong,” She whispered the last part. ‘That’s stupid bitch Amaya doesn’t deserve Ryuu, he should be with me.’ Two guards suddenly showed up and she was escorted away.
“Lord Osamu I will speak with you again later regarding this issue as well as the treaty,” Sesshomaru said in a dismissive tone.
“Of course I will leave you now and retire to my room,” with that he bowed low and walked away.
Sesshomaru then turned to Ryuu, “I was furious when Amaya came to the study in rage and then in tears for what she saw, until I overheard Lady Azumi’s little speech. I believe you are not completely at fault, however you should always be on your guard, she should have not have been able to get close enough to kiss you. There will not be a repeat of this. However do to curiosity I wish to know what made you distracted enough for your guard to be down in the first place.”
“There will not,” Ryuu said, he then sighed. “I was thinking about Amaya and the mating.” Sesshomaru raised an eye brow at this. “I was so distracted trying to plan our mating night so it would be perfect for her that I forgot about her gift, so I have been trying to think of the perfect gift for her.”
“Gift? The gift was already given when you asked her to be properly courted,” Sesshomaru said.
“No Father, our mating will last a week, we will be indisposed during this time however during that week is also our birthday,” Ryuu said.
Sesshomaru blinked, Ryuu was right. Everyone has been so busy getting ready for the mating ceremony that they forgot that their mating period will overlap their birthday. “I see, well you better go speak with Amaya, she is extremely upset, be on your guard.”
“She is that pissed huh?” Ryuu’s stone act fell, his Papa’s personality snuck out.
“That would be an understatement, however under her rage is hurt and sadness. You should know that she mentioned cancelling the mating,” Sesshomaru said.
Ryuu whipped his head up to look at his father, “W-What?”
“She has come to think that you are only mating her because of the promise you made when you were pups and she feels she is holding you back from finding your true love and mate.”
“That’s not true!” Ryuu exclaimed.
“You best be practicing you begging, son,” Sesshomaru smirked. Amaya takes after Inuyasha in almost everything, she truly is his daughter, therefore to ease her temper and get her to forgive his actions he would indeed have to beg. Sesshomaru can remember many times he has had to beg Inuyasha for forgiveness not that he would admit it out loud. “Good luck son.”
Ryuu sighed, “Thanks.” He then walked away trying desperately to think of how he could beg Amaya to still mate him; Amaya has always been in love with him, as he her. Normally it was he who would cheer her up after some fool made her cry, after he beat them up, but now he was the fool and he has invoked her wrath as well. ‘Gods help me.’
*With Inuyasha and Amaya after Sesshomaru left*
Inuyasha and Amaya walked back to her room where she was lead to her vanity and made to sit where Inuyasha proceeded to unbraid her hair, once her hair was free he grabbed her grooming brush and started to hum while brushing, it is his favorite pass time to groom his pups and Sesshomaru’s hair.
Amaya sighed, “Papa do you think Lady Azumi is more beautiful then me?”
Inuyasha stopped humming and his hands paused in his brushing, “Amaya how dare you think that, you are far more beautiful then any demon, half demon or human alive.”
“You’re my Papa you have to say that,” Amaya sighed.
“You calling me a liar?” Inuyasha frowned.
“What? No! But your bias.”
“I am not, I have travelled all over the lands and there is only one person whose beauty yours can compare to,” Inuyasha smiled and resumed brushing her hair.
This caught Amaya’s interest, “Oh who is that?” Amaya has heard and seen personally many people that her Papa has met and she could not think of one where she could compare herself to.
“Your grandmothers, Lady Izayoi.”
Amaya gasped; she remembers when she met Lady Izayoi when she was little, after the battle with Kenchi. Amaya thought she was the most beautiful aside from Lady Taisho, Sesshomaru’s mother.
“I know what you are thinking, you thought I was going to say Lady Taisho, but Sesshomaru and I both agree that you resemble a demon version of Izayoi and you could be her twin on your human night. I may be bias but I believe my mother to be the most beautiful to have ever lived, and after she died I thought I would never see her again, and even though I got to see her 244 years ago that doesn’t make me miss her any less, but I see her in you.”
Amaya’s eyes filled with tears, she has always loved looking at the painting of Lady Izyaoi, she may look like Lady Izayoi but she admired Lady Taisho’s personality. Amaya became depressed again, “Papa? If it isn’t beauty then why did Ryuu kiss another? Do you think he just loves me as a little sister and not a lover?” She stood up and walked over to the large window, folding her arms across her chest she sighed. “Maybe we moved too fast, I mean we started courting each other right after we reached the age of maturing last year, we will be 251 during our mating week, maybe I should post pone it until we are 350 so that he can have time to browse, and he never got a chance to explore other options. I remember when his future-self came to me but, that was so many years after the fact that I had ‘died’ maybe it will take a few centuries for him to want to mate me, maybe I should canc-.”
“Amaya I am going to stop you right now,” Inuyasha said walking over to her. “I don’t know why Ryuu kissed another, but there is probably a good explanation, because I know that he loves you and wants to only be with you.”
“How can you know that?”
“You don’t know because you were not there but when our past selves appeared before us and you were not with them Ryuu nearly attacked them, he wanted to know where you were and he wanted to know now, and then when your grandparents appeared before us after the battle with Kenchi, they had told us that you had died, but they were there to fix that because that was what Kenchi wished for. Your brother’s face reflected nothing but a broken heart, but when you reappeared he changed to that of the happiest Pup alive. If I recall it wasn’t you that was always around him but him that was always around you, he barely left your side. Sesshomaru and I had a hard time with him when those Lords came and asked us to have you mate with one of their sons, Ryuu nearly killed them all, he growled and poison was seeping from his claws, he informed them all rather colorfully that he was the one you were going to mate with and that he would kill anyone who tried to make a move on you,” Inuyasha laughed at the memory. ‘Thank god his poison wasn’t fully developed or we would have had dead bodies.’ “When you came to us and told us that you wanted to go back to the past because you needed to help us defeat Yura, we knew you had to go back, but when Ryuu found out he told us he was going with you and that he wasn’t taking no for an answer. Even the thought of you being somewhere he couldn’t be, made him panic and that is why he went with you.”
“Ya he is a possessive bastard aint he?” Amaya giggled. “But that doesn’t change what just happened, it has been 244 years since then, things change.”
“I don’t believe he has changed, but cancelling the mating isn’t going to help, why don’t you give him a chance to explain, I am sure he will be here shortly,” Inuyasha said.
“Maybe unless he is too busy making out with Princess slut’s a lot,” Amaya grumbled bitterly, ”Just thinking about it makes me pissed off all over again.”
Inuyasha took a step back as Amaya’s youkai flared back to life with her anger, her tail flickered back and forth showing her irritation and her eyes flashed red. “Amaya, dear, honey, please calm down,” Inuyasha tried to approach her but she growled out so he forgot that idea and stayed away, he knew better then to approach his pissed off daughter.
“If he didn’t want to mate with me he should have said something sooner, he should have told me and walked away, not cheat on me like this!” Her temper flared even more.
Inuyasha sighed, his eldest son was in big trouble if not with them then with Amaya, ‘I hope he has a good explanation for what happened, if not I fear Sesshomaru may need to announce a new hire to the throne. How does that saying go again? Hell has no furry like a woman scorned? Or in this case a pissed off demoness with the power to level the entire Western Lands.’ There was a soft knock at Amaya’s door; Inuyasha turned to Amaya who didn’t move at the sound, “I will just see who that is,” he walked over and opened the door to see his eldest son standing there looking unfazed, but his clenched hands showed his discomfort. “Hello Ryuu,” Inuyasha said.
“Hello Papa,” Ryuu whispered.
“Oh Amaya, Ryuu is here to speak with you,” Inuyasha said.
Amaya’s growl echo’s through out the room and even down the halls, making guards and servants decide that now would be a good time to vacate the eastern side of the palace. Ryuu flinched at the sound and his eyes softened and seem to plead at his Papa.
“Don’t look at me, the only advice I can give is don’t touch her until she calms down a little, you may lose an arm otherwise,” ‘or your life’ Inuyasha didn’t say the last part his son is smart he will figure it out. “Well I will just leave you too to talk this out,” Inuyasha steps out of the room and puts a hand on his son’s shoulder, “Good luck,” ‘You’ll need it,’ he then disappears down the hall.
Ryuu looks into the room and sees Amaya standing at her window, her youkai flaring, and arms crossed. Anger, hurt, and sadness radiated off her, but anger was the more prominent emotion that was pouring of her at the moment. He steps into the room and closes the door; he begins to walk towards her taking every caution as if approaching a wild animal. “Amaya?” One step, “Amaya, love?” two more steps, “I want to explain,” three more steps. Ryuu got about five feet away from Amaya before she growled for him to stop.
Her youkai calmed down a bit but her eyes remained red, “Oh?” She said turning around, “You want to explain, do you.”
Before Ryuu could open his mouth to explain when suddenly pain exploded through his cheek and he found himself flying through the air and slamming into the wall, knocking over a table and smashing it into pieces. He looked up at a fuming Amaya. She picked him up by the collar of his kimono and held him two inches from her face,“ You want to explain why you kissed another girl the day after our mating announcement was made,” She through him over her shoulder and in her dresser breaking it in half, Ryuu barely had time to recover before she was in his face again, “you want to explain why that filthy slut’s hands were even on you, after spending a year courting me,” she punched him in the stomach. Amaya once again picked up Ryuu by the collar and through him across the room, even though he was a bit disoriented he managed to flip and stop himself before he broke anything else. “You want to EXPLAIN why you betrayed not only your future mate but your little sister, who has done nothing but LOVE you,” Amaya seethed, panting a bit from tossing her brother around.
Ryuu stood up and watched as Amaya approached him, she grabbed his kimono and he waited to be tossed again, but it never came she just clenched her fists and put her head against his chest, “If you didn’t want to mate me then fine! All you had to do was say so; you didn’t have to sneak around with that bitch! I would have understood!” The smell of salt filled his senses, he looked down at her only to see her lift her head up.
Amaya looked up at her big brother with tear filled eyes, “I would have postponed the mating until you were either ready or found a new mate, what did I do wrong?” she pleaded.
Ryuu’s heart broke at seeing his future mate and little sister’s tears, “Amaya, love, mate, I would never intentionally hurt you, you are my beloved little sister and future mate. You did nothing wrong, I want to mate you and throughout the year of courting you I was tempted every minute of every day wanting to take you as my mate and to screw protocol with the mating ritual and take you that very minute,” Ryuu put his hands on either side of her face and used his thumps to wipe away her tears.
“Then why? Why did you betray me,” Amaya asked.
“I didn’t,” Ryuu said.
“Yes you did!” Amaya yelled, “I saw you!”
“Amaya please,” Ryuu’s grip on her tightened, “I was asked by Lady Azumi to show her the gardens being the daughter of a Lord I complied, however during our walk to the gardens my mind was focused on something else, and I regret to say that I let my guard down. She tripped and fell and out of instinct I caught her, she then kissed me. I pushed her away immediately and told her the gardens were around the corner and proceeded to walk away. I am sorry that you saw that, but I dealt with it, with the help of Father.”
“What do you mean it was dealt with?” Amaya asked.
“After I started to walk away she followed me, yelled about… well things that were not true. She proceeded to insult you and our Papa, it was then Father and Lord Osamu came, words were said and anyways, she committed treason and is now residing in the dungeons awaiting punishment.”
Amaya stared at her brother, she could detect no hint of a lie, “She… She is really in the dungeons?”
“Yes my love,” Ryuu gave her a small smile.
“So you still want to mate with me?” Amaya asked.
“Yes, I want nothing more in this entire world then to spend the rest of my life with you by my side.”
Amaya smiled a true smile and hugged Ryuu, “I do too.”
“I am so sorry that I let my guard down, I promise I will never let something like this happen again,” Ryuu promised, he leaned down and kissed Amaya, showing her through actions how much he loved her.
Amaya pulled away “You better not let another female touch you like that again or I will kill her and then beat you within an inch of your life.” She then brought her hand to his cheek, the one she punched, “You alright?”
“I am, my tough little mate, however it will now seem that you will need to have your room repaired,” he looked around at her broken table and dresser.
“It would seem so,” she then pulled away and poked his chest with her index finger. “So tell me my brother dearest, what had you so preoccupied that you let your guard down enough for her to kiss you in the first place?”
“What else could occupy my mind that the world around me disappears and I think of nothing else?” Ryuu teased. When Amaya didn’t answer he decided to tell her, “I was thinking of you and of our mating. I was thinking of all the things I am going to do to you.”
Amaya blushed and then smiled, “I look forward to having those ideas played out.”
“But of course,” Ryuu smiled.
“So tell me what punishment did father give her for insulting our beloved Papa?”
“She is now banished from the Western Lands and may not enter unless having a signed letter that states she may enter.”
“Nice I bet she through a fit.”
“Of course.”
“So brother, what punishment will she receive from you since she almost destroyed out mating?”
Ryuu grinned and Amaya new that grin it meant something evil was being planned or something fun, or in this case maybe both.

Amaya walked down into the dungeons and up to Lady Azumi’s cell; she walked up to the guard who bowed to her. “Is she awake in there?”
“Yes my Lady, she has done nothing but curse and pace the cell,” the guard said.
“Cursing me to hell is probably what she is doing,” Amaya grinned.
“That she has my Lady and if I have to hear anymore I would like your permission to punish her for disrespecting you.”
Amaya smiled at the guard loyalty to her, “That will not be necessary, I will be handling her from now on, Ryuu and I have a little something in store for her.”
The guard let out a small laugh, “My lady whatever Lord Ryuu and you have planned will be far more entertaining then what I could do.”
“That is very true, Ryuu does have a sadistic side to him,” Amaya agreed. “Now if you would be so kind as to open the door I wish to speak with Lady Azumi.”
“Of course,” the guard bowed again and then turned to unlock the door; once he did he stepped aside to let Amaya pass.
Amaya walked in to see Lady Azumi standing in the middle of the cell with her arms crossed. She growled out when she saw her walk in, “What do you want?”
“Is that any way to speak to your most gracious host?” Amaya frowned.
Lady Azumi growled, “What do you want Lady Amaya?”
“Much better,” Amaya smiled, “I have come with a proposal for you.”
Lady Azumi’s ears perked at this, “Oh?”
“I see I have your attention, it is regarding Ryuu,” Amaya started. “I have heard what you said about me and that you believe that you are strongest of the two of us and that you are more deserving then me to be mated to Ryuu so,” Amaya paused for affect, “Let’s have a battle.”
“A battle?” Azumi asked, “What kind of battle?”
“A battle for Ryuu, the winner gets to mate Ryuu,” Amaya said.
“Oh and what happens to the loser?”
“The loser is to never appear in front of Ryuu again and if they do death will be the punishment,” Amaya smirked.
Lady Azumi laughed at this, ‘there is no way I could lose to a half breed’ she smirked at that thought. “Alright then I accept your proposal, but just so you know I will win, you are signing your own fate by going up against me in battle.”
“And you are forgetting one very important detail about me,” Amaya smirked. She got a confused look at her statement, “I saved the world, I went up against the most powerful demon alive and won and restored life to this world, without me you wouldn’t even be alive and I did all that while I was nothing but a pup.”
Azumi growled at this, “that is right you were nothing but a pup and from what I understand you were in an adult form when you defeated him and even then you didn’t defeat him with your battle skills it was pure blind luck that made you win that battle, I will not lose you to a half breed like you!”
Amaya frowned, “fine then, Guard!”
The guard standing outside came inside, “Yes Lady Amaya?”
“Please escort Lady Azumi to the training ground, Ryuu will have already summoned everyone in the palace to the grounds already, please wait for me there before you unchain her,” Amaya said walking away, “Also please allow her any weapons she wishes.”
“As you wish my Lady,” the guard said.
Amaya walked away from the cell and up towards the main hallway of the palace, there she ran into her Father and Papa, she stopped and bowed towards them.
“Amaya, Ryuu has informed us as what you are about to do,” Inuyasha said.
“Do you doubt my abilities?” Amaya asked.
“No, Gods no, we know you will win, however we ask that you just don’t ‘accidently’ kill her, she is still the daughter of the neighboring Lord,” Inuyasha said.
“Don’t worry I am just going to humiliate her in front of everyone, and make sure everyone knows that she is weak and that I have won fair and square against her. The knowledge that she was defeated by a ‘half-breed’ will be more satisfactory to me then killing her,” Amaya said.
Sesshomaru growled, “Amaya.”
“Yes Father I know you hate that word but that is how she views me, which is fucked up because I am the same as Ryuu, but whatever,” Amaya said. “Anyways let’s get going I am eager to get this over with.”
“Let’s go then,” Inuyasha said.

Ryuu was standing in the arena waiting for Amaya to show up, when suddenly the crowed parted ways for a Guard that was leading Lady Azumi towards the center of the arena as she entered he saw that her weapon of choice was two swords one in each hand. A few minutes later he saw his Father and Papa arrive and they moved to stand beside him.
“Was this your idea?” Inuyasha asked him.
“No, it was Amaya’s,” Ryuu said. “She wanted it clear to everyone that Lady Azumi is weaker than her and that she won the right to mate with me fair and square. Amaya said the humiliation from losing to her would be punishment enough but I made her enforce the fact that the loser would never again be able to approach me unless death was their wish.”
“According to Sesshomaru she is already banned from the Western Lands anyways,” Inuyasha said.
“Yes, but if there is such an occasion where she needs to come to the palace then this way she will not be able to approach me unless it is business related.”
Inuyasha was about to speak when suddenly the crowd parted once again and everyone watched as Amaya walked towards the center of the arena carrying a sword in her hand.
Amaya arrived at the center of the arena and she motioned for the guard to unchain Azumi. As he did she turned to the people around her. “Hello my friends and loyal servants, most of you may know why you are here, other’s may not.” The crowd who had cheered at being addressed soon calmed down to listen to their Lady speak. “Lady Azumi has attempted to sabotage my mating with your Lord and my brother Ryuu,” the crowd booed at this information, “not only that but she has insulted not only myself but my brother’s and your Lord, my Papa because of our human blood.” The crowd continued to boo and shout their outrage towards Lady Azumi. “My fellow people, I understand your rage however that is why we are here, her punishment for insulting your Lord Inuyasha is that she is been banned from the Western Lands unless she has been given direct permission from Lord Sesshomaru. As for attempting to ruin my mating with Ryuu, we are here now to fight for the right to Ryuu, the winner gets to mate Ryuu, while the loser is forbidden from ever speaking with him again unless it is business related, death will be the outcome of breaking such rule.” The crowd hushed at this and then almost everyone had a smirk on their faces. “Lady Azumi believes she is stronger than me and that her pure blood gives her an advantage over me,” the crowd laughed at this. Amaya turned to Lady Azumi, “Everyone here knows the outcome of this battle, and they laugh at your assumption. Do you still wish for this battle to continue?”
“I do, I will show them that I am the stronger of us and that you don’t deserve to mate with Ryuu,” Lady Azumi said.
At her words the crowd of servants booed her, Amaya frowned at her words. “Alright then, we shall commence the battle when Lord Sesshomaru gives the signal,” Amaya said and then she turned to her father.
Sesshomaru steps ahead, “Lady Azumi have you chosen your weapon for this battle?”
“Yes, my Lord,” Lady Azumi said.
“Lady Amaya, Have you chosen your weapon?”
“Yes my Lord,” Amaya said.
“Are you both ready?”
“Yes my lord,” Amaya and Azumi said at once.
“Then get into your positions,” Sesshomaru said. Amaya and Azumi got into their battle stances and waited for the signal. Sesshomaru looked between them and then raised his right hand, “Begin!”
Azumi was the first to make her move, she charged at Amaya one sword raised high while the other was in front for defense. She got close enough to Amaya to bring the sword that was in front of her up and swing towards Amaya’s chest.
Amaya seeing this she raised her sword in defense and easily blocked the attack, seeing that Azumi was about to bring her second sword down, she used her left hand to grab Azumi’s wrist thereby stopping the sword from swinging down. Amaya used this opportunity to twist Azumi’s wrist and use her movement against her as she swung her body to the right and flipped Azumi over her body.
Azumi feeling her body leave the ground twisted her body so that she could land on her feet, Amaya sensing Azumi try to counter, released her and swung her sword marking Azumi’s arm before quickly moving away. Azumi swung her sword wildly and almost caught Amaya’s left shoulder. “You will not win!” Azumi shouted.
“Funny, I was about to say that, after all so far I am the only one to land a cut,” Amaya smirked.
“You didn’t-” before Azumi could finish she felt a sting in her arm and looked down to see her kimono ripped and blood from a small cut. “How the hell? You are nothing but a half-breed! You can’t defeat me! A FULL DEMON!” Azumi yelled in rage.
“Sorry Lady Azumi, but this half breed is going to win, it is just a matter of time before I decided to finish you off, after all the longer I prolong this battle the more I get to humiliate you, however I have a mating ceremony to prepare for so I really can’t spend too much time on having fun, but then again if I finish you off now that would be the ultimate humiliation, oh my decisions, decisions,” Amaya made a face to act like she was thinking.
Azumi’s face went red in rage, “I would love to see you finish me off quickly, you won’t be able to! You are weak and pathetic and not worthy to even breath the same air as Ry-“ Azumi’s words were cut off as air was suddenly forced from her lungs.
Amaya stood listening to Azumi rant, however when she went to say Ryuu’s name without the proper title with it she couldn’t handle the disrespect. Amaya surged forward and using the butt of her sword to hit Azumi in the stomach.
Azumi bent forward and gasped as she held her stomach, then glared up at Amaya with hate, “L-L-Luck-lucky sh-shot.”
Amaya returned the glare with one of her own, “Luck had nothing to do with it, when you started ranting you let down your guard, and then you had the nerve to talk about Ryuu without using his proper title, his name is Lord Ryuu to you. You have upset me too. I am going to finish you off now,” Amaya watched as Azumi was ready to counter her claim when within a moment Amaya dropped her sword and punched her, in the liver, kidneys, heart and then her stomach once again, this time putting more power into it. She watched as Azumi went flying into the nearby wall with a sickening crunch, blood started dripping from her mouth like a fountain. Satisfied that the battle was now over, she turned her back from Azumi and began to walk away.
Azumi glared, for her, this battle was not over, she moved to get up but was having difficulty, “Wai-wait! Are-Are you run-running scared half…breed!?”
Amaya stopped and turned her head to the side, “No, this battle is done; you are not able to fully stand up and therefore unable to battle. You are done, just stay down.”
“Never!” Azumi yelled.
“Lady Azumi, Do you think for even a second that I put all my power into those punches?” Amaya asked. That froze Lady Azumi in her spot, her eyes wide she slowly looked up at Amaya, who was now in front of her. “I am the daughter of a Lord Sesshomaru and Lord Inuyasha the ruler of the Western Lands, I have four older brothers, my training has been far more advanced than your own so even though I am a half-breed, which by the way you are not only insulting me but also your precious Ryuu because he and I are the same, but I digress. You are nothing compared to me, so give up and go home and never return here.” Amaya then turned around once again to leave; she looked up to see Ryuu staring at her with pride in his eyes. She turned back to Azumi who was now on her feet leaning against the wall for support. “Oh before I forget,” Amaya walked over and watched as Azumi looked up at her with a glare. Amaya then pulled back her right fist and punched Lady Azumi in the face making sure to break her nose; Azumi screamed in pain and covered her nose with her hand. “That is for kissing MY Ryuu,” She then turned and walked away, the crowd that surround them cheered as she walked towards Ryuu. Once at his side she turned around to face the crowd and felt Ryuu put his arm around her waist.
“In witness to all of you Lady Azumi was defeated fairly by my chosen mate Amaya, therefore she loses all rights to mate with me and is now forbidden from approaching me unless it is business related and if she chooses to break this rule she will be put to death,” Ryuu said. The whole crowed cheered, no one liked Lady Azumi and now she wasn’t allowed back unless it is business related.
Amaya looked up at her mate to be and smiled, finally the drama is over with and she can now focus on being happy with Ryuu, she couldn’t wait for mating season.

The mating ritual of Ryuu and Amaya was beautiful and elegant, as they stood on the alter completing the mating ceremony, Ryuu wore the same robes as Sesshomaru’s expect it was back, red and gold; his hair was up in a high pony tail. Amaya wore a black, red and gold kimono dress, with her hair down, but in a half pony tail that was braided and a hair pin that Inuyasha gave her in the side, it was red with silver and gold flower design; it had belonged to Inuyasha’s mother; Sesshomaru had found it while renovating their pups rooms before they were born and gave it to Inuyasha, who gave it to Amaya.
Inuyasha and Sesshomaru looked on with pride in their eyes, Misaki and Daisuke also looked on with joy as their siblings mated. The palace couldn’t be happier with Ryuu and Amaya’s mating, and by the end of mating season, Amaya and Ryuu announced that Inuyasha and Sesshomaru were going to be grandparents, which made them overjoyed.
A year later Amaya gave birth to two girls and two boys, Amaya stared down at her oldest child, she has the trade mark golden eyes and silver hair that came with the Inu blood line a small bushy tail and pointed ears she has pink markings on her face and body and her crescent moon is a blue, they decided to name her Chieko, meaning child of intelligence and wisdom for she will be the future ruler of the Western lands. Her second born is another girl, she has silver hair with black strands, and golden eyes, she has a bushy tail and Inu ears on top her head, her markings are blue with a pink crescent moon, and because of the black streaks and the inu ears they decided to name her Izayoi after their Papa’s mother, which after hearing that Inuyasha couldn’t stop the tears from flowing and his pride for his child swell. Their third child is the first boy and he has silver hair and golden eyes, a busy tail and inu ears, his markings are purple with a magenta crescent moon, they named him Sora, meaning sky. Lastly their youngest son, Ryuu was a bit confused at first but not any less proud of their youngest son, however Amaya smile brightened as she knew why her youngest was how he was, his hair unlike his sibling was black with silver streaks, his eyes a darker shade of gold, he has pointed ears and his markings are red, with a black moon. Amaya looked up at Ryuu, “I wished for Kenichi to be reborn into a loving family, so that he could grow up being loved and it seems the gods have chosen us to be that loving family.”
Ryuu couldn’t believe it, however the look on Amaya’s face made him forget what Kenchi did in the past and knew he would love this child just as he would the rest, “Your love knows no bounds, however we cannot name him Kenchi, too many people still remember and we do not want our son to be hurt,” Ryuu said.
“No you are right, I have already picked up a great name for him, Hikari, it means light,” Amaya smiled.
Ryuu kissed the top of her head, “It is perfect.”
Amaya and Ryuu smiled at each other and then up at Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, Misaki and Daisuke came in shortly after Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. They each took turns welcoming the new additions to the family.
Sesshomaru and Inuyasha couldn’t be more proud of their two children, Amaya had done so much for them and they got to see her happy just like she made them.
Now Amaya in on a new adventure, she gets to experience the same joy and happiness that Sesshomaru and Inuyasha got to go on, the adventure of parenthood and the rest of their lives will be filled with nothing but love and happiness.

She is from another time dimension where demons are only found in story books. However when a mysterious homeless man gives her a dagger one night on a bridge she finds herself pushed off said bridge and transported to the world of Inuyasha. Can Inuyasha and the gang melt her cold heart? And with the help if Sesshomaru will Inuyasha get her to open up to idea that true love and happiness does exist? Or will her past be too much and she falls into darkness where it will consume her and the world?
