Setting Boundaries
Hey there everyone! Oh, you guys truly are the best reviewers ever! I am just so happy!! ve tve to say I’m sorry for not putting up a chapter yesterday. I didn’t get my computer back like I hoped, and then today I had work from 9-5, yuck. Steak n’ Shake sucks, I need a new job, lol. So now I’m writing with my feet soaking, and oh, it feels good. Now, if only I had someone to massage them, it would be perfect. ell,ell, no luck, but here are some shoutouts and the next chapter, hope you enjoy!

Chapter 3 – Setting Boundaries
***Inuyasha’s apartment***
Inuyasha walked into his apartment and slammhe dhe door. “Well, you’re finally home. I was starting to think I might actually have to cook my own dinner for once,” Sesshomaru said while just barely glancing up from his newspaper to see his brother fuming in the doorway. “What the fuck are you doing here anyways, I thought you had work tonight,” Inuyasha said as he grabbed a coke from the fridge and plopped down on the chair across from Sesshomaru.
“I’ve been working too much lately, so I decided to take the night off and stay here. Why, is that a problem?”
“Yeah, it’s a problem! I’m having someone come over tonight, so you have to ditch.”
“Hmm… you’ve never minded me being here before, what are you doing?”
“That doesn’t concern you, now I need you to leave.”
“And why on earth should I do that, little brother?”
Inuyasha growled slightly at the comment. He then reached into his pocket, pulled out a 10,000 yen bill, and handed it to Sesshomaru. “Is that enough?”
“That’ll be fine. I thank you sir, and hope we can do business again sometime.”(A/N(A/N: I’m not to sure about current exchange and whatnot, but let’s just say that equals about 20 dollars American, ok?)
Sesshomaru got up from the couch, threw the paper at Inuyasha, whom was still glaring at him, and walked out the door. Inuyasha glanced up at the clock and noticed it was 5:30. ‘Well, I have an hour and a half to get ready, might as well start now.’
Inuyasha once again looked up at the clock, seeing that it was 6:55. By then, everything was set. He was dressed in a more casual dark blue button up shirt with black jeans. He let his silver hair flow freely across his back. Behind him, on the dining room table, was a table set for 2, with a dozen long stem red roses in the center. Each plate contained some of Inuyasha’s curry surprises.
‘I hope she likes all of thi-‘ Inuyasha’s thoughts were interrupted by a small knock at the door. Inuyasha felt like the air had been knocked out of him when he saw the sight at the door. Kagome stood there in a light blue spaghetti strap dress that went down to her knees. Her hair was pulled back in a braid, exposing her delicate neck. ‘Damn, she looks beautiful.’ “Good evening Kagome, please, come in, and have a seat in the dining room.” Kagome sat down at the far end of the table, and Inuyasha sat down at his end.
For the most part of the meal, the two of them sat there in silence, occasionally looking up at one another. Inuyasha couldn’t take all the silence though. “Listen Kagome, today… well, to be honest I’ve never done that with a student,” he said, earning a slight giggle from Kagome. “Anyways, I understand that there are rules concerning students and teachers. If word of this ever gets out, I will lose my job, and this is only my first year of teaching. Not only that, but we are 6 years apart from each other. Not that I care about age difference and all, but it would be difficult to keep going like this. But hell, what am I saying. I don’t even know how you feel. Listen, I’ll be back in a few minutes. Just wait here, alright?”
Inuyasha grabbed the dishes from their meal and took them to the kitchen, and started to clean them off a little before putting them in the dishwasher. ‘Great, now she probably thinks I’m a total idiot now. What am I going to do?’ Just as Inuyasha finished putting the dishes in the dishwasher, a slender pair of hands wrapped themselves around his waist and pulled him close to a warm body behind him. “I know it’ll be difficult, but right now you are the only person that knows that I live alone. You are the first person besides my aunt that has comforted me. You are so kid and caring towards me. I don’t care what anyone else says, I want to be here with you.” Inuyasha turned around to see Kagome standing there in front of him, her eyes full of tears of both joy and fear, if he said no. “Kagome…” Inuyasha was cut off as Kagome pulled him closer and kissed him hard on the lips. Kagome let out a slight moan, and Inuyasha took the chance and deepened the kiss. Kagome wrapped her arms around his neck and Inuyasha placed his around her small waist. After a few minutes, they both pulled away after running out of air.
“Are you sure you want to try this?”
“Yes Inuyasha, I’m sure.”
“You do realize there will be some restrictions. One: you can’t tell anyone about this. Two: If we ever go out, we have to go to another town, as to avoid being seen by people we know. Three: When we are in school, you are Miss Higurashi, and I am Mr. Shikon. Is that alright?”
“Yes, that ine,”ne,” said Kagome as she rested her head on Inuyasha’s shoulder. “By the way, you know those flowers on the table are for you, right?” Kagome giggled and kissed him on the cheek. She walked over to the table, grabbed the flowers, and walked to the door, Inuyasha following her the whole way. “So, I’ll see you at school tomorrow?” asked Kagome. “Yes. Would you like me to walk you to your apartment? Those hallways are awful dangerous you know.” Kagome giggled again and kissed him lightly on the lips. Inuyasha opened the door for her, and Kagome walked out. She waved to him and started to walk towards her own apartment.
Inuyasha finished cleaning up the table and lay down on the couch, amazed by the day that has just passed. Sesshomaru then walked in the door and walked towards his room, but stopped before he reached the door.
“Going to tell me what happened?”
“Nope.”
“Is this going to be an every day thing, or can I come to my house every once in a while?”
“Depends, gonna stop being an asshole?”
“No, gonna stop being a kid?”
“Nope.”
“Well then, looks like you answered my question. See you in the morning.”
“Yeah, whatever, see ya,” Inuyasha said as he closed his eyes and fell asleep on the couch, dreaming about the gorgeous lips that he had just kissed only minutes ago, and when he could do it again.
So, there you go. Again, gomen fhe whe wait. It won’t be that bad next time, I hope. Anyways, you know what to do now. More shout outs next time. Oh yeah, one more thing. I was considering putting Naraku into the story, but not sure how to yet. Any ideas are greatly appreciated! Okay then, thanks a bunch, love you guys! Giant Hugs to the readers!
