Chapter 4: Unbound Desire

A/N: The untainted shards leave Kagome�s body along with all the curse�s toxins. She and Inuyasha give into their long denied desires. Hope you enjoy the update and sorry that it took me a little while to post. I had to edit my chapter. I still do not own Inuyasha!
Inuyasha�s amber eyes snapped open when his ears heard Kagome�s hoarse whisper. �Inu....Yasha?� He turned her over to face him quickly.
�Are you alright Kagome?�
�Fine. Why wouldn�t I be?�
�You don�t remember last night?� She shook her head and then held out her hand. There in the palm of Kagome�s hand were the three shards of the Shikon jewel that had been drawn into her body when Tsubaki had placed her curse on her.
�What are the jewel shards doing out of their bottle?�
�The bottle shattered Kagome.� Suddenly Kagome became aware of her nakedness when Inuyasha�s calloused hand ran up her back gently.
�Inuyasha?�
�Yeah?�
�Why am I naked in bed with you?� His cheeks burned with his blush as he looked away from her.

�Don�t worry Kagome, it�s all over.� She shook her head and grabbed his right shoulder. Inuyasha winced in pain.
�Inuyasha, you�re hurt! Let me see!� He raised his arms and allowed her to pull his outer and inner kimono off. Her mouth fell open when she saw the small gash on his left side and then the larger wound on his right shoulder. �Did I do that?�
�Yes but it wasn�t really you Kagome.�
�How did I do it?�
�The scrape on my left side is from one of your arrows.�
�And the other?�
�From where you stabbed me with a dagger.�
�Oh Inuyasha, what else did I do to you?�
�You tried to strangle me.� Kagome began to sob and Inuyasha pulled her into an embrace.

�No Kagome you�re not a monster, you were under Tsubaki�s curse.�

�I already have koi.� Kagome�s cheeks reddened at the hanyou�s name of endearment towaher.her. �I was so scared Kagome.�

He tossed them onto the floor and then placed the jewel fragments onto Kagome�s bedside table. The hanyou lay over Kagome and settled in between her thighs.

Releasing her hold on his neck she glanced up at him tentatively. �Now we�re bonded for life Kagome.�
