Kirara saw her mistress storm away. The
fire cat knew that there was something wrong with Sango and she wanted her to be
better. She felt the man on her back try to steer her to the fortress, but she
didn't listen. Her mistress was angry and Kirara wanted to make sure that she
was alright. Her mistress was all that she cared for, the man on her back just
had to accept that. Kirara landed next to Sango and pushed her nose into her
hand, craving her mistress' attention.

-
Oh Kirara, I was just wondering where you were, said Sango with a soft
smile, feeling a little bit better when her beloved cat came to her "rescue"�.

-
Young Lady, who are you? asked a old voice that reminded her of Kaede's
voice of wisdom.
Sango turned around and saw a white
clothed man sitting on Kirara's back. His hair was long and white and again she
was struck with the idea that all white haired men were demons, but he didn't
radiate any strength or power that demons had. No, instead he had another kind
of power. Strength and knowledge from eons of living in this world oozed from
his very being. He smiled gently at her as he got off Kirara's back.

My name is Sango and this is my trustful and loyal companion Kirara, said
Sango as she bowed lightly, but you could hear the pride she held for her friend
and in herself, in her voice.

-
I am Gandalf. And I must say that your friend here is a great fighter,
said the old man and patted the back of Kirara. "� She saved my life.

-
That's nice, said Sango with a small smile. She really wanted to seek out
her other friends; she wanted to talk to them about where the heck they were.

-
You are not of this earth are you?

-
Most probably not"� Sorry Lord Gandalf, but I must look for my other
friends.

-
Then you must go, but I hope I will see you soon. Come to the fortress
when you have found them, said Gandalf and reached out and touched Sango's
cheek.
Sango shuddered a bit and pulled away.
What was it with every man in this place? Why the hell did they have to touch
her all the time? This was disturbing. She jumped onto Kirara's back and nodded
a good bye to the old man.

Gandalf looked as the young woman took
the sky with the strange animal. The few moments when his hand had touched her
face had given him images that made him smile. The short moment of touch had
given him knowledge of a woman and two men, together, basking in the rays of
love. That was not often seen, but not uncommon or strange. "�Young woman, I
hope that you can understand what your future has placed in your path. You are a
woman that will bear children to two different men, they will be with you
through all times, and you will be their wife. But still, can you accept it?'
he thought, but the smile on his lips faded and then he was serious again. Frodo
and Sam, they were still missing, the Eye of Sauron still watching. Could it be
possible to ask these new people to help them again? The small
telepath-connection he had with the odd creature known as Kirara, had told him
that they was not of this Earth, that they had come through time and space, from
one battle to another. He was brought out of his thoughts when he heard Legolas
and Faramir yell at each other. He walked over to them, wanting to find out why
they were fighting.

Sango landed on the impressive courtyard
where she had found the young boy Pippin earlier. She saw the boy again; he came
running towards her with a giant smile on his lips. He flung his arms around her
waist, burying his face into her upper belly.

-
Hey there, what's this all about? she asked with an amused tone as she
rustled the brown, red hair on his head. But she could hear his voice call out
to her.

-
My Lady, I'm so happy. You saved Lord Faramir and you and your cat helped
us defeat Sauron's forces. My Lady, you have no idea how happy I am, cried
Pippin.

-
I'm glad that we could make a difference young Pippin, said Sango and
hugged the young lad that had latched onto her form. He was a good boy she
decided.

-
Lord Faramir? Did he come for you?

-
Mmm, that he did, but he's fighting with that white haired guy with the
bow, Legolas I think his name was. Don't know why, but they seem to have some
issues with each other, said Sango. "They were fighting like two dogs over a
bone"�."�

Oh"�
Sango saw the thoughtful face of the boy
and she frowned. Strange people, she decided after a few moments and refused
dwelling on the matter any longer. She didn't want to think about the two
fighting men either. That meant that she could consider herself to be desirable
and that was not something she wanted to be"� she was a slayer, a warrior,
she was not wife-material and that was the end of the story!

Pippin took her hand and led her towards
the great hall where they all would meet later. He was devoted to her and gave a
silent promise that he would stay by her side at all times. But he could also
see that she was troubled and that made him frown. Lord Faramir wanted her, but
the young hobbit had also seen that she had caught the eyes of that elf, and if
that was the case"� a duel was bound to happen unless they could come to an
agreement. And Pippin was not sure that his lord was able to do such a thing.

Eowyn was brought out of her saddened
and yet lulling state of victory when she realized that the dog eared man was
carrying her away from the people she had fought so hard to protect. That was
not what she had planned. She wanted to go back to her people. She wanted to be
with them to celebrate the victory over the dark forces.

Uhhm, could you take me back to the fortress? asked Eowyn and looked up
into his handsome face. She saw that his eyes no longer were red, but he still
had the jagged stripes on his cheeks. And still "� he was the most gorgeous man
she ever had laid her eyes upon. A warm bold shot through her lower stomach but
she choose to ignore that jolt of desire at the moment.

-
Why? asked Inuyasha and looked into her blue eyes. He tightened his grip
around her body, but slowed down his steps. But the smell from her told him that
she was ready for the mating just as much as he was, but he couldn't understand
to why she denied it.

-
Because I want to be with my people.

-
You belong to me, snarled Inuyasha.

-
What?!!

-
You're mine, my mate. I will not let you take another male as you mate.
You're mine!

-
The name is Eowyn, learn how to use it! spat the blonde woman in his arms
and she grabbed a fistful of hair and tugged painful at it.

-
Eowyn, nice name"� but I still think I'll call you mate anyway, smirked
Inuyasha even though he would have learned not to tease a woman in her state.
But he couldn't help it; he didn't care what god had put him in this world. All
he knew was that she resonated with him and she would be his no matter what.
Inuyasha crushed his lips against hers,
backing up his words with passion. He heard her whimper as his tongue plundered
her mouth, tasting her sweetness. Great Gods, she was like liquid fire in his
arms, licking his veins on the inside. He stopped walking and let her slide down
his body to stand. But he held her body flushed against his, his hands roamed
her backside, trying to get her to understand that they belonged to each other.

Eowyn's hands moved around his neck, her
fingers tangled with his long silvery hair. She could feel his claws trickling
through the layers of textile on her behind, he grabbed her bum and pushed her
pelvis into his, making her feel the hardness of his erection. She moaned and
tilted her head to give him better access to her mouth. He knew how to blank out
her logical mind and she didn't care. She wanted him, no point in denying it
anymore. She would love to be his mate, what ever that meant.

Kagura was escorted up to the great hall
where the rulers were going to meet up. The warmth from Elrond was seeping
through her kimono and it made her tingling all over. "Why do I feel like
this? Not even the great Sesshoumaru made me feel this hot and needy."�
thought the wind demon and suppressed a shiver. Every now and then she could
feel his dark blue eyes linger on her and she swallowed hard. This was turning
out to be one hell of a twisted experience.

Elrond could almost taste the tension
that surrounded the strange woman. He could see the frowns on her beautiful face
and he could not help but wonder what she was thinking about. He admitted to
himself that he was attracted to her. She was an enigma he couldn't wait to
uncover. He could feel the very light shiver that coursed through her body and
he knew it was him that had caused it. He wanted her.

They walked into the great hall and
Kagura could see Sango and Kirara at the end of it. She released herself from
Elrond's grip and ran over to her newly found friend. They had found each other
in the fight against Naraku, Sango had stood back to back with her when they
fought and that meant a lot to the wind demon. Sango had proven herself to be a
resourceful ally in the fight against Kagura's maker, Naraku.

Sango!! she
yelled and took hold of the taijya's hand.

-
Kagura-chan, you are alright? I'm glad, said Sango and pulled Kagura
closer and hugged her tightly. She was so happy to see her face that she barely
could form the words she just did. She was so happy that could feel tears form
in her eyes.

-
Yes, but where are we? asked Kagura and lifted her head from Sango's neck
and made a telling sweep with her arm.

-
I have no idea, but I know that Inuyasha is here somewhere as well. I
think we have been transported to another world, but don't worry, as long as we
are together"�
Kagura nodded and patted the head of the
giant fire cat, acknowledging her presence as well. But their little reunion was
interrupted by loud shouts. Their eyes were directed towards the door and they
saw two men arguing with each other.

Sango was about to die with
embarrassment when she saw the two men arguing with each other. She knew exactly
what they were fighting about. Her.

Legolas and Faramir glared at each
other. Green eyes met green blue ones. A sword was raised against a bow. A human
looked at an elf.

-
She's mine!! snarled Legolas as his green eyes glowed dangerously.

-
No way, she belongs to me!! flared Faramir, his grip around his sword
tightened.

-
What makes you think she wants a mere human as her husband?

-
Like she would want an elf as husband??
They never noticed that Gandalf had come
up behind them and he used his wand to smack them both over the heads. "Boys,
boys, boys"�. Perhaps you should stop and think what the girl wants"�"� he
thought as he managed to bring them both to a stop.

STOP this
bickering at once!! yelled the mighty Gandalf and he pointed towards Sango.
The two men were silenced and their eyes
followed his finger and they gulped. In front of them stood the woman they both
wanted and she did not look too pleased with them.

Kagura couldn't believe it. Sango, the
mannish little demon slayer, had two males fighting over her. She giggled softly
and took Sango by the hand and dragged her into a nearby room. Sango blushed as
Kagura's red eyes glittered amusingly.

I think I've missed something here Sango-chan, said Kagura. "� Want to
fill me in on what's happening here?

-
Nothing, they're fools, that's all, said Sango with an embarrassed frown.

-
Why should they be fools? "She couldn't be that ignorant, could she?"�

-
Because they think that I'm some kind of person that is worth fighting
over, stupid fools.

-
You are very beautiful Sango-chan, why shouldn't they want you?

Hmpf.

-
Don't be like that Sango-chan, why not take them both as mates? "If I
had those after me I wouldn't have hesitated one second."�
Sango's eyes widened when she heard
Kagura's suggestion. The blush deepened and she tried to stutter out an answer,
but all that came out was some incoherent words.

It's very obvious that they want to be with you, perhaps you could get
them to be friends and you could live together. I sure would try and do that if
it was over me they were fighting. They were two very gorgeous creatures.

Then why don't you?!! I'm not that kind of girl! spat Sango, she was
blushing like a boiled lobster.

Because I have my eyes sat on Lord Elrond. And I think he might like me
too, said Kagura and a small blush coloured her pale cheeks.

Oh"� but still"�, mumbled Sango and then she looked at Kagura again. "�
Who's Lord Elrond?!!

-
Ok, let's go back and let's see what's happens next, ok?
Sango nodded and they walked back into
the hall. She could see Faramir and Legolas stand silent, waiting for her to
return. But where was Inuyasha? But she didn't have to wait long for that
answer. He came through the portal, carrying a blonde woman in his arms.

Inuyasha saw Sango and Kagura and headed
towards them. The taijya and the demon smirked teasingly when they saw the
possessive hold he had on the woman and he knew that they both gathered that the
hanyou finally had found a mate.

"But what about Kagome? I was sure
that he loved her"� and if not her, then there was always Kikyo."�
thought Sango and patted his arms in a friendly manner. But Inuyasha let Eowyn
gently touch the ground and she blushed as he held her against him, not letting
her move away.

Are you three ok? asked Inuyasha and nodded towards Sango, Kirara and
Kagura.

-
Yes Inuyasha, we're ok. You too? asked Sango.

-
And who are your friend? asked Kagura and looked into the blue eyes of
the blonde woman.

-
My name is Eowyn, who are you? asked the warrior woman.

-
I am Kagura, this is my friend Sango and her loyal companion Kirara, said
the wind demon.

-
Nice to meet you. And I thank you for the help you gave us out there. We
would probably have lost if it wasn't for you, said Eowyn.
The little talk was interrupted by a
loud voice and Sango groaned inwardly. "What the hell was going on now?"�
