He panted for breath as his claws dug deeper into the tree he was perched in. He didn't know why he tortured himself every night, why he came here night after night.
His heart pounded in his pointed ears as his body gave a jerk. He wanted to move so badly to go down there. But he wouldn't dare no matter how the lustful beast in his mind urged him too.
Beads of sweat dotted his forehead as pink bleed into his eyes. His mouth had gone dry as he panted heavily for breath. But no matter how he tried he couldn't make himself look away, he was too afraid he would miss something.
His body ached with need as he throbs painfully. Kami he didn't know he could get this hard and not find release on the spot. And this was just by watching her, his goddess, his water nymph.
He couldn't stop the low lustful growl that slipped from his lips. The tree bark splintered as his claws dug deeper into the tree.
Every night he came here and every night he watches her, from start to finish. No, he didn't know her name, but that didn't stop him from bathing in her erotic scent, lusting over her curvy, porcelain body.
He didn't know what she did in the daylight or where she went. Only that she came back here every night. He knew there were things he needed to be doing. But when the sun set he always left to come to this spot. His advisors were complaining his work was piling up but he didn't care. As long as she came back when the sunset he would watch her.
To his ever-growing disappointment, a small meow from the tree-line caused his nymph to pause in her bathing ritual. He sighed knowing that this would end his pleasure for this evening... And this evening it was over too soon, Kami he would have to wait for another whole sun-raise and set before he saw her again. He sighed as she ducked behind a bush to dry off and dress. But he had to admit that blue Kimono with its falling red leaves she looked perfect. He watched as the tiny Neko leaped into her arms and they disappeared through the trees as always leaving him alone with his thoughts.
It was two months ago when he had first laid eyes on her, she was sleeping. Surrounded by a barrier of some kind that only let him within a few feet of the goddess. Her back was against a flowering tree that leaves fluttered about in the warm night breeze, the petals seemed to dance about her as if enchanted by her beauty as well. She shifted slightly and in her arms, he could see a small fire neko snoozing away. Moonlight spilled through the branches of the tree, making her hair seem almost alive like the night sky. He could not help the feeling that tore through him to see her eyes. He had a feeling they would be as beautiful as her.
He sat and watched the female sleep most of the evening, but alas the moon shifted positions and reminded him of his duties. He never realized time had slipped away as quickly and cursed the beast inside him. Kami he really needed to get a female here he was a lord acting as if he was a peeping tom. Taking one last look at the female and her companion he left on his way.
Every step he took was a heavy one and one that he did not want to take leading him away from such a beautiful creature. One thing struck him odd was that she looked as if she had just fought a battle. But there had been no problems reported in his lands.
He was patrolling his lands when he saw her again and found himself was saving this area for last on his patrols hoping he would see her again. And he did every night for the past two months he would hide his scent and aura like a spy and watched her.
He sat through the boring meetings and land quarrels sighing inwardly is this my fate to be bored to death by foolish creatures? Then the thought hit him, was that the reason he kept returning to the forest by the well? Was it because he was bored as of late?
My Lord...My Lord, came booming through his thoughts he glared at the creature.
Yes
Please. .please forgive me my Lord Inu no Tashio but you wanted me to inform you about the setting of the sun.
So I did...Naoe. .inform the guard I am going on my nightly patrol. he swept from the room leaving the group staring after him. But none voiced their thoughts they would just return to their lord tomorrow for an answer.
It was the howl the called to him it spoke of pain almost close to death. Inu no Tashio sped through the trees and with a powerful leap jumped into trees a few yards from the creature making the painful sound. His eyes widen taking in the sight of his bathing goddess as she held onto the well for dear-life sobbing her heart out. He knew this pain the pain of losing someone more important than your own life having watched his father suffer after the death of his mother.
He watched sadden as the neko tried to comfort her only to be pushed away. His ears perked as she spoke
No Kilala no don t you understand again I am taken from my home. .my home... And thrust into a place I know nothing about in a form I barely know how to use, she sobbed. I want I want my babies my pups Kilala I want my Kodomo-sama, my Hana-chibi, my Kaki-chibi and we will never see. .them. .again. She broke down again howling into the night: why me? What have I done so wrong to deserve such torment?
He wanted badly to go to her, to try and make the pain stop for her. No mother should lose their pups. And from the looks of the female, she was rather young, too young to be in such pain. He tried but could not stop the answering howl that slipped from him. not your doing, fate is just cruel at times. But you must carry on and be strong he filed away her strange words away for later, for now, he was just content that she had stopped sobbing so. He watched with a smirk as she looked around with those watery eyes of hers. But his smirk fell as she looked too where he was hidden, he sighed in relief when in neko had meowed getting her attention.
