Manipulated Love
Not all the eyes viewing the couple were as enthused. He left to return to his pack with the news
before either of the hanyous could catch his scent. But that didn’t mean Kagome didn’t know he was
there, she may have not been looking with her demonic senses but she could still feel that the shards
that the wolf youkai had were there. She smirked at the possibilities, with Inu Yasha as hers, she
could dare she say it? ‘Rule the World.’ Inu Yasha raised an eye brow to her wondering what could
possibly be so amusing to get her intrigued, he was too preoccupied with other matters to even think
of the possibility of a threat somewhere in the vicinity.
That would have to wait for now though he would claim his mate. No, she had other plans, kinky
plans but plans none the less. But where did that leave Kouga? What could he possibly have to do if
Kagome has already chosen a mate? No, he was not for her, but she would have a use for him. But
he was only one piece in her grand game of chess. She knew he wouldn’t be very enthusiastic to help
in the fight against Naraku if she were to be Inu Yasha’s mate. No, he wouldn’t help, even with such
a noble reason as to avenge his comrades wouldn’t be enough motivation to help… but he will at
least not voluntarily.
She could offer him something, but why should she be the one to sacrifice? No, she knew he didn’t
particularly like Ayame, but if she haunted his dreams enough he wouldn’t, couldn’t resist. You see,
Kagome isn’t one for just personal intrigue and games, there had to be a motive. She was setting the
pieces in motion, if Inu Yasha wouldn’t acquire help to fight Naraku then she would. But she
couldn’t do anything until night, until both Kouga and Ayame were asleep, until they were both
vulnerable to her mind games, maybe Inu Yasha would help her. Of course, breaking Kouga’s mind
wouldn’t be easy but perhaps if Kouga was to watch Kagome, the one he is in love with, mating
with Inu Yasha, his greatest rival in love, perhaps he would be a lot easier to bend.
That would have to wait until night. Until then she would have to prepare to be Inu Yasha’s mate.
The sheer thought sent shivers down her spine. They walked back to Kaede’s village that afternoon.
Upon arriving at Kaede’s hut Kagome was greeted with some surprise. Of course, seeing the
reincarnation of their once guardian Kikyo walking through the village obviously changed and
possessing demonic powers would be some scary shit. She didn’t care, she wasn’t Kikyo she was
Kagome, she knew that her friends knew that and most importantly Inu Yasha knew that. Hmm…
but where does Kikyo fit into the grand scheme of things… she didn’t, well then she would just have
to be removed. Of course though she wouldn’t do that herself, Inu Yasha would hardly approve.
That’s why he will kill Kikyo for her. His choice in the matter? None. Yes, this will be a day to
remember. The day the thorn in her side, that damn Kikyo will die. But, how to confront Inu Yasha
about it? Well, if he need’s convincing…
“Inu Yasha!” Kagome beckoned.
“Yes, Kagome?” he replied with sincerity in his voice, still enthusiastic about her decision to be his
mate.
Well, actually it was he who decided to be her mate, but that’s not important. “Inu Yasha, you love
me dearly yes?”
“With all my heart.”
“What about Kikyo?”
“What about her? She means nothing to me, you know that.”
“Yes, but why then keep her alive? You know she doesn’t belong in this world, return her to her
peace Inu Yasha. It’s the least you can do for her.”
The confusion in his eyes were soon replaced by confidence as Kagome kissed him, the confidence
soon became a burning passion as he thought he felt a little tongue. Yes, Kagome thought to herself
today is going to be a good day. After lunch Inu Yasha explained to the group that he and Kagome
would go settle some business, he didn’t miss the snicker from Miroku, which earned him a much
deserved slap from Sango, and a glare from Kagome.
Inu Yasha and Kagome left with intense speed. Kagome thought it would have been hard to
convince Inu Yasha to kill Kikyo, but she figured he could be manipulated if you offered the right
things. They both arrived at a clearing to find Kikyo standing there expressionless as ever. Kagome
stood before the both of them.
“So this is how it has to be,” the undead miko said.
“Inu Yasha is mine you will not take him to hell with you, as a matter of fact, he’ll be sending you
there personally,” Kagome replied with a laugh.
With that realization Kikyo began to show signs of an emotion. of fear, she looked to Inu Yasha
pleading. Inu Yasha gave no remorse, he began to draw his blade then put it back away, no this
would be a kill he would enjoy with his bare hands. If this is what Mistress Kagome wanted then this
is what she’ll get, the rage in his eyes were not fueled by anger, but by anticipation, if he would give
Kagome what she wanted then he’ll get what he wanted in return.
“Run bitch! He’s gonna kill you!!” was all Kagome offered to Kikyo before she took to the air, this
was a kill she didn’t want to miss.
With that Kikyo turned and ran, she’d have to make it to the village, she’d have to find help she
could run but there wouldn’t be anywhere to hide Inu Yasha could find her where ever she hid. As
she ran se let fly an arrow she couldn’t stop him, no but she could try to slow him down. She was
about to loose another arrow when a whip grab her bow from her. She looked up to see Kagome
whip in hand and bow in other laughing.
Kikyo tried to out run Inu Yasha but there was no way she could out run the hanyou not with his
demonic agility and certainly not with his determination. She almost had sight of the village, that is
until Inu Yasha landed upon her back. He began to shred her, he ripped her piece by piece, Kikyo
screaming the whole time. When the screaming stopped Inu Yasha looked to what were once blood
soaked hands to find them only covered in dirt. He was proud of himself, not only had he put Kikyo
to rest, he had earned Kagome. Kagome stared down at the scene the torn remains of Kikyo turning
to dust, the smiling hanyou, she glided down to Inu Yasha and walked up to him.
She kissed him passionately, her puppy had done her will, with such a ferocity she was very proud of
him, she let a hand slide to his haori and Inu Yasha let out a small gasp. But then something
Kagome and Inu Yasha had forgotten about happened, the missing part of Kagome’s soul returned
and with that Kagome blacked out.

I wasn’t aware that dialogue was supposed to be separated from the rest of the body of the story.
And that’s probably why I only got a 3 on the AP English Composition Exam.
Ok, so other than a few composition errors, how am I doing so far?
