Chapter 4

With that the brothers raced off to the well.

For hours Inu-Yasha tried to
breach the well, but he was constantly repelled.

For miles around people could hear the anguished screams of
the younger demon.

�Inu-Yasha you are only hurting yourself,
tell me about the importance of this well and where our woman and pups are!� Sesshoumaru demanded.

�I will tell you, but at this rate we wont see her for
another five hundred or so years� Inu-Yasha said defeatedly.

And so the brothers sat by the well and Inu-Yasha
told the tale of how he first met the miko and how he
had followed her to her time. The brothers talked and planned on how they would
find the miko if it was the last thing they did.

Dejected but determined the brothers plotted, and then Sesshoumaru carried the sleeping hanyou
back to his palace.
