I woke up in a cold sweat panting as the horrible images of my parents being slaughtered still fresh in my mind. I took a deep breath closing my eyes, then slowly opening them back up as my heart rate returned back to normal. I stood up and walked quietly out of the room.
I need fresh air...something to get my mind off this.
I quietly closed the door as I walked down the hall and downstairs to the main level of the castle. I then walked outside to the front of the castle and began walking around the castle grounds aimlessly with no specific direction. I yawned as I decided to wonder around the area. Then in the distance I saw something coming. My eyes widened as I sniffed the air, it was horrid it had to be that demon that was after me earlier. I drew my sword out as I charged towards the speed shadow demon. It was in the shape of a body form but it was incredibly strong whatever it was. My sword clashed with it's sword as we began to fight. The moonlight wasn't helping me see his face because he was in the shadows of the forest. He laughed mockingly, as I sliced off a limb and he angrily threw me into a tree causing four trees to collapse to the ground, causing chaotic sounds.
Amazing...it was a demon I had yet never seen before in my life.
I heard his footsteps walking towards me in graceful tune with the insects melody. I snarled as I quickly got up and growled.
"Who are you?" I demanded coldly.
"Woman, I am in no time for games, I just want you to come with me," He said in a playful manor. I scoffed.
"I'm not going with some low-life demon," I declared. He scolded as he stepped into the light I looked at him in awe.
"Now, come with me," He said extending a hand towards me. He was attractive, his rate of sex appeal towards me was off the scale. Nothing compared to Sesshomaru but enough to make me want to go with him. He had black hair that was down to his back, his eyes were of Eden colored and his skin a pale color making him look completely flawless. His body was well-built, his body strength was top notch and his strong jawline made him look irresistible. I blinked a soft pink on my cheeks, he smirked.
"Come with me and I saw make you happy and you will never grow tired of me," He replied. I was about to except his offer when another shadow was racing with the speed of light and punched the other demon in the face. He didn't budge for that matter he didn't even flinch.
Oh, no this can't be good.
Sesshomaru and the mysterious demon were fighting right in front of me and it didn't take long before Sesshomaru had killed the incompetent fool who wished to steal me away from Sesshomaru's grasp.
"Serves him right for trying to abduct me so late into the night."
"What the hell were you doing out here anyways?" Sesshomaru demanded.
"I needed fresh air is that such a bad thing?" I asked.
"You don't need fresh air," He said.
"The hell I don't!" I snapped. He glared.
"Wench...watch your mouth."
"Fine! I don't care what you say you bastard!" I shouted and stormed off back towards the castle.
Ugh! Irritating asshole. How dare he speak to me like that...I need fresh air every now and then!
Sesshomaru's POV
I scoffed.
Easily tempered woman...who does she think she is to back-mouth me like that? She's in my territory now and she will obey my orders. Hmph...though she does aggravate me...no one taunts me and gets away with it. This is pathetic is this all I have on my mind anymore? That worthless woman? I'm pathetic, I Sesshomaru love no one.
As I headed back to the castle I saw that Isuzu was sitting in a Sakura tree that was illuminated by the moonlight.
She looked absolutely well beautiful, though something was wrong. Agh, what do I care? She's just foolish with her ridiculous feelings. I have no feelings for I am Sesshomaru Lord of the Western Lands and I refuse to let some absurd woman change that.
I walked past the tree she was in and at the exact moment I reached the tree and the exact spot she was at we both exchanged looks of pure hatred for each other. I quickly stormed back inside leaving her to sulk in her self-indulgence. As I made it back to my chamber I removed my weapons from my kimono and tossed it aside as I took off my kimono top and laid back down on my bed.
What a hopeless woman, she'll never be able to fend for herself if she keeps being ridiculous about everything.
I snarled at myself. I couldn't believe I was thinking about that woman so much. It was so aggravating that I was getting annoyed with myself. I needed to do something to stop thinking about her. I punched my wall above the bed as it cracked the wall and debris of the stone fell onto the bed I was lying on. I threw the chunk of stone to the floor and watched it crack and break again. I glared and stood up pulling my kimono top on as I walked out on the balcony to see that stupid woman still in a tree. I glared again and jumped down; this attitude of hers is going to go.
Normal POV
I got back to the castle and hopped up to a Sakura tree and sat on a branch leaning back against the trunk of the tree. I sighed forlornly as I fondled a Sakura blossom with my fingers.
Agh, this just makes me hate him more! If he keeps this up, I'm going to scream! Though even if I might have the slightest attraction to him, I can't fall in love with that cold-hearted bastard, good for nothing dog demon. If anything I'm going to have to change him, the real question is, how exactly do I do that?
I sighed absent-minded as I felt a slight breeze blowing back my hair lightly against the tree. As I gazed at the moon I got the most heartbreaking lonely feeling deep inside of me. It almost made me want to cry out in pain. Then at the exact minute I gazed down to see Sesshomaru glance at me glaring as I too found myself glaring at him. I huffed, crossing my arms.
I'm not talking to an asshole like that...Though.
I frowned.
Would my parents really want me to mate with someone who had murdered them and their only son?Or does it even matter anymore?
As I sat pondering still playing with the Sakura blossom and slowly growing tired with each second. As my eyes were about to fully close I saw a white blur and then jolted awake. Then to my surprise Sesshomaru had cut the very branch I was on with his poison claws.
"Oh...shit!" I shouted as I fall to the ground with branch and landed on my face. I quickly stood up and struck him hard with the palm of my hand.
Dammit...bad mistake.
I soon felt a surge of pain hit me in an instant and then fell unconscious.

I slowly fluttered my eyes open to see I was back in Sesshomaru's chambers and sighed defeated as I looked over to see him asleep. I blinked astonished that he was sleeping.
He actually looks...gentle asleep.
I slowly reached my hand up to his face and made sure he was really asleep before I lightly traced my finger along his jaw and lips. I trailed my eyes down to his kimono that was now loose on his body hanging off his shoulder. He was almost breath-taking to gaze. I lightly ran my hand down his exposed broad chest I shivered with delight at his smooth skin and muscular abs. That's when I let out a shocked Eep sound as Sesshomaru grabbed my wrist and I cried out in pain. He shoved me back down on the bed as he sat up and let go of me and pulled his kimono securely back around his body.
"Don't touch me vile woman." I glared.
"Damn you would you stop being so hypercritical?" I asked. He glared.
