Sesshoumaru awoke to the scent of mated bitch. She was close by and he was still naked on the ground. Thing that bothered him the most was it smelled like his bitch and he could not find his Karei anywhere.

Getting up he got dressed and put on his armor to go search for his Karei. It was obvious the little hanyou needed to be disciplined again since she knew better than to run off on her own. The woods were dangerous at night and he could smell her blood in the air.

I ran for what seemed to be forever trying to get away from that abusive bastard. I felt for Rin, but I had to go. I needed to be free and it looked like a village was near so I hoped someone would help me there.

A man came out with dog ears on his head and silver hair. We looked at each other and I went to run from him. This must have been Sesshoumaru’s little brother.

Inuyasha ran after the hanyou girl. She was wounded and smelled of his brother. If his brother had hurt the little Inu hanyou he was going to pay. This was the first time Inuyasha had seen another Inu hanyou in his life and he wasn’t about to let her get away.

“Hey! Stop running! I will help ya!”

Inuyasha yelled and I ignored him only for him to finally catch up with me and grab me about the waist.

“Stop yer strugglin’. I ain’t gonna hurt ya.”

Inuyasha said.

“You lie! You’re Sesshoumaru’s brother! You’ll let him take me!”

I cried trying to struggle free.

“No I won’t and I don’t lie. Now calm the fuck down.”

Inuyasha said sitting me down and taking a good look at me.

“You’re an Inu hanyou like me. Where did you come from?”

Inuyasha asked.

“I was in chains last time I remember and wolf demons tried to rape and kill me.”

I said and Inuyasha growled.

“They better not have been Kouga’s wolves or I will kick their asses.”

Inuyasha said and then he grasped my arm.

“Come with me to the village. Kagome will look at yer wounds and shit.”

Inuyasha said.

I didn’t have a choice as Inuyasha yanked me along and took me to a hut where he lit a torch and woke up his wife.

“Kagome……”

Inuyasha said.

“Uh…..what Inuyasha?”

Kagome said irritably.

“Someone needs your help. I think Sesshoumaru hurt her.”

Inuyasha said and Kagome frowned.

“It had better not be Rin.”

Kagome said.

“No, it’s an Inu hanyou like me. She seems a bit timid so be nice.”

Inuyasha said and Kagome got up to look at the girl in front of her.

“I’ll need to see the wounds. Inuyasha get my kit and set it by the door. Get Sango too and have her get some clean water and soap.”

Kagome said and Inuyasha nodded as he headed out of the hut.

“Well, where are you wounded?”

Kagome asked in irritation.

I was afraid so I held my kimono tighter around me.

Blood seeped into it and Kagome roughly pulled me away from the wall practically tearing off my kimono.

She looked at the wounds on my back and frowned. Then she saw all the blood on my neck and shoulder.

“That bastard……..”

Kagome ground out. She had seen whip marks like this before on Inuyasha’s hands and feet. It also looked like claws had dug into the girl’s back. Even for a hanyou it would take a good amount of time to heal them.

“Where else did he hurt you?!”

Kagome demanded.

I covered my privates and whimpered looking down in shame. Kagome turned white and then turned red with fury.

Inuyasha dropped the kit off by the door and went to leave when Kagome grabbed him and pulled him into the room.

Turning the girl around Kagome pointed at her back.

“And if this isn’t bad enough look at her neck.”

I tried to cover my privates as best I could.

Inuyasha swallowed feeling rage build up inside.

“Oh and guess where else he hurt her! There is blood between her legs! I don’t know what kind of a bastard does shit like this, but if you see Sesshoumaru I want you to hurt him!”

Kagome ground out and then ushered Inuyasha back out as Sango came in with the water, towels, and soap.

“Another Inu hanyou?”

Sango said in shock.

“Yes and a very wounded one. Sesshoumaru did this.”

Kagome said as she cleaned away the wounds. Then Sango noted on the hanyou’s neck there was a mating mark.

“This girl is mated. I would say by the fang marks it was another Inu. Could this be Sesshoumaru’s mate? I thought he hated hanyous.”

Sango said.

“What is mated?”

I asked confused.

“It means you are married to a demon. Kagome has a mating mark from Inuyasha, but he could not infuse his youkai into her since he is only half demon. You are now almost a full blooded demon since a full blooded demon male infused you with his youkai.’
“How is it you do not know of these things? Most half demons at least know what mating is.”

Sango said.

“I do not remember anything except being chained and chased by wolf demons who wanted to kill and rape me.”

I said and then I explained how I met Sesshoumaru and Rin. I also told them what Sesshoumaru had done to me.

“He calls you Karei? That is a pet name. He wanted you as a pet. However he must have lost control to his demon to make him mark you. He will not be happy that someone he considered a pet is his mate not that I agree with him treating you like a pet either.’
“Also from what you said about the wolf demons I am going to assume it was that pack that came after Inuyasha. They hunt hanyous for sport and Inuyasha kicked their asses telling us to stay out of it since he wanted to get his revenge on them.’
“I just wonder how you could have ended up with them. You say Rin said your kimono was costly so that means royalty and the only other royal Inu demons are the black Inus from the East. We had only known of the Mother and son being alive from that pack, but it is possible they kept you in hiding. The Mother isn’t known to approve of hanyous.”

Sango said.

“What of the son?”

I asked.

“He is a mystery. No one has ever seen him long enough to know what he looks like, but the people of the East seem to love him. From what I know he is a full blooded diayouki like Sesshoumaru and they are about the same age.”

Sango said.

I felt sad because I knew if he was anything like Sesshoumaru I would be harmed by him. It was possible that both the Mother and son of the East gave me to those wolves to get rid of me if I was even related to them.

“We will find out more tomorrow. Tell me, is Sesshoumaru in the area?”

Kagome asked.

“Yes, he is. Rin is with him and I am afraid he will hurt her since I ran from him. He told me not to disobey him and if I did he would hurt both of us.”

I said.

“He won’t hurt Rin. Rin is Sesshoumaru’s sun and moon. He adores that girl and so don’t believe what he says. He is just trying to frighten you.”

Kagome said.

“I don’t know about that Kagome. We have his mate and Sesshoumaru will be looking for her. If Rin is not in danger this village will surely be. It is just a good thing we have Inuyasha or else we would have to give her over to him.”

Sango said.

“I cannot put your village in danger. I will go far away from here if you will just tell me which way to go.”

I said feeling bad for even coming here.

“Nonsense, you will stay with us. Inuyasha can take care of his brother. Now let me wrap these wounds and give you a potion for your pain.”

Kagome said as she finished cleaning off the wounds.

After wrapping the wounds on my back Kagome opened her medical kit and pulled out some herbs. Then she heated up some water in a tea kettle and put the herbs into a cup mashing the dried herbs enough until they were small enough to drink.

Pouring the heated water in with the herbs Kagome gave them to me and I cautiously drank them down.

“We will get you a different kimono so this one can be washed. We don’t have anything fancy, but we do have something that will work.”

Sango said as she went to her hut to get a clean kimono from one of the many kimonos she made with the silks Miroku was able to gather for her with his demon hunting sutras when he went with Inuyasha to go kill lower demons for villages around the area.

The kimono was pink with white sakura blossoms on it. It was of a thinner material than the blue one, but the blue one was dirty with my blood on it.

After I was wrapped Kagome offered me a blanket to sleep on and Inuyasha came back inside.

“I’ll guard the door just in case that bastard shows up. You girls sleep.”

Inuyasha said and for the first time I felt safe.

When I woke I heard yelling outside.

“Get away from Kagome you bastard!”

Inuyasha yelled.

“She will die by my hand if you do not relinquish what is mine.”

Sesshoumaru said with Rin in the middle trying to get Sesshoumaru to remove bakusaiga’s blade from Kagome’s throat.

“Please Lord Sesshoumaru! Don’t hurt Kagome!”

Rin pleaded.

“Rin, go inside. This is between this asshole and me.”

Inuyasha said angrily.

“No! I don’t want you two to fight!”

Rin said with tears in her eyes.

“He should of thought of that when he touched that poor girl!”

Kagome yelled.

“Silence woman!”

Sesshoumaru snarled.

“I will give you one more chance little brother and then I will kill her and all you love. Give me back my Karei!”

Sesshoumaru fumed.

I came running out and Sesshoumaru frowned looking at my neck.

“Karei, what is the meaning of this?”

Sesshoumaru demanded pointing to my neck.

“You bit me you jerk! What do you mean what is the meaning of this?!”

I roared at him.

“I did not mate a hanyou!”

Sesshoumaru growled in fury.

“Well guess what asshole, you did! However after the way you treated her you don’t deserve her! I’m taking care of Karei now so fuck off!”

Inuyasha said.

“Her name isn’t Karei you idiots! It’s InuKinu!”

Rin yelled.

“No it is not. It is Kimi.”

Another voice said as an elegant diayouki walked towards the village with the look of relief on his handsome face. He looked similar to Sesshoumaru except he had long black hair and his nose was more prominently male. His golden eyes regarded the hanyou with pure love in them. His kimono was black with metallic golden swirls upon it looking more expensive than Sesshoumaru’s. His armor was also much finer with two pauldrins with spikes on each shoulder. From his back flowed two mokomokos that were also jet black in color. His facial markings were that of a golden sun on his forehead, two dark blue stripes on his cheeks, eyes, and wrists, and upon his neck was a tattoo of the chrysanthemum in black resembling his royal lineage.

“Hello little sister. I have been searching for you everywhere.”

The man said and I looked at him not recognizing his face.

“I’m your sister?”

I asked in confusion.

“Yes Kimi. I am your brother Shiro. Do you not recognize me? I was to be your mate my precious one. When I found out about what Mother did to you we fought and I won. I want to take you home where you belong.”

Shiro said.

As he came forward Sesshoumaru growled.

“Don’t you dare touch my Karei!”

Sesshoumaru snarled.

“Her name is Kimi and she is not yours Lord Sesshoumaru. She belongs home with me. However if you wish to barter for her I will give you a mountain of gold for you to leave her in my care. I will also remove your mating mark so she may bear mine. We are the last of our kind and she was meant to be with me.”

Shiro said angrily.

“Why did you leave her then? You left her with hanyou hunters. You are lucky she is alive.”

Sango said angrily.

“Mind your business human. You do not understand the ways of demons as much as you think you do slayer.”

Sesshoumaru said angrily.

“What happened to Kimi was unfortunate and had I known she was taken by hanyou hunters I would have killed them all. We do not allow hanyou hunts in our territories in the East now that I solely rule there.”

Shiro said.

“If she goes with you this woman dies. Kimi is now mine. I do not want your gold and you may not have her.”

Sesshoumaru said pressing bakusaiga against Kagome’s throat even more and using a claw to cut into Kagome’s neck to show he was serious.

“Please don’t hurt her! I’ll go with you! Just don’t hurt anyone else!”

I begged.

“No Kimi! He’ll just hurt you!”

Kagome said.

“I can’t let you die! Lord Shiro, I am sorry. I do not know you although you seem very kind. I have to go with him.”

I said gently and Shiro went to stop me as well as Inuyasha, but I shrugged them off to go to the one man I hated. He could have my body, but never my heart.

“Kimi don’t give up! I will come for you! Consider this war Lord Sesshoumaru!”

Shiro said as he disappeared into the forest heading back for his castle where his troops would prepare for battle.

As soon as Kimi was within reach Sesshoumaru pushed Kagome away towards Inuyasha.

“Little brother I suggest if you wish to keep peace between us you will forgo your revenge. I simply came for what is mine and I swear to you I will come destroy this village if you so much as think twice about coming after me with Father’s fang. I am twice as powerful as you are with bakusaiga so consider my mercy towards you this day.”

Sesshoumaru said as he lifted Kimi onto Aun and slid behind her placing a possessive arm about her waist.

“Rin…….”

Sesshoumaru said.

“Yes Lord Sesshoumaru?”

Rin asked.

“Behave yourself until I return for you.”

Sesshoumaru said as he lifted off into the air with his Karei. It did not matter what Lord Shiro called her, she obviously did not know that name and thus she would still be his Karei.
