Kagome walked into the room she was showed by Kara. Slidding the door shut after a smile to thank her, her eyes went wide. This room was big enough that her entire house could fit in it! and the bed was the size of her livingroom! She walked around the room and looked at the few things that he did have in the bedroom. There was a place next to the bed that looked like it was where he put Tokijin and Tenseiga. Of course the huge bed that really did look comfortable. There was a desk on the far side of the room and that is when she turned and gasped. The painting on the wall in his room was of his family. "Of course without Inuyasha."

She looked up at it and it wasn't hard to figure out who was who. Sesshomaru was small sitting on his mother's lap with that cold expression. She moved up to his mother who was beautiful. Everything about her screamed royal and elagance. Then her eyes moved over to his father. She remembered seeing him that one time when, while it wasn't willing, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru used their swords together and sent Sounga to hell. He appeared telling them how proud he was of both of them. "I don't get it. Why did he seem to be just as proud of Inuyasha as he was Sesshomaru that day?"

"I have no idea. However I am sure that I will find out when you birth a hanyoukai pup."

Jumping at his sudden voice Kagome let out a startled scream. "Try not to sneak up on me like that!"

"Soon you will know exactly where I am."

"How is that?"

"When the bond takes effect. You will be able to sense what I feel, and I will be able to sense what you feel. It is part of mating."

Kagome sighed as she crossed her arms and glared at him. He talked about this so matter of factly that it drove her insane. But she figured that she was just going to have to deal with that. Wanting to get him talking about something, anything other than their 'mating' she sighed. "So when is Rin coming back?"

"I sent word to my mother today. She should be home by tomorrow night."

"What is your mother going to think about what is going on?"

"Mother will not like my mate is a human. Nor will she like that her grandchildren will be hanyoukai. Will she deal with it, I have no clue. That is something that we will deal with when that road crosses. Come." He then held his hand out for her. "It is time for sleep."

Kagome sighed as she walked around to the side of the bed on her own then she stopped. "Damnit!"

"Nani?"

"Sorry. Bad habit i picked up from Inuyasha. I am not going to sleep in this." Then she gestures down to her outfit.

Without a word Sesshomaru walked to his robe and pulled out a single whole piece garmet and tossed it on the bed then headed for the door. "You will wear that. Say my name when you have changed."

Arching her eyebrow Kagome looked at the door as it closed. 'Didn't expect him to leave the room while I changed.' Then she sighed as she quickly changed and slipped the thing that looked like a night gown on. She looked down and smiled when she realized that it wasn't see through. She then started to sit down, slowly, wincing slightly when she felt that brief sharp pain between her legs. Once she was settled on the bed she curled in the blankets and rolled on her side. "Sesshomaru."

Walking back in the room Sesshomaru glanced at her and then went to the closet himself and took off his haori and hung it back up then made his way to the bed himself. He climbed on the bed then reached over and wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her to the middle of the bed until her back was against his chest.

Kagome flinched as her body tensed the second he touched her. "Um......................."

"I told you I would wait until you told me. Nothing is going to happen. Sleep."

though her body was slightly shaking Kagome gave a nod. She could feel his body plastered up against her own all the way down to her feet. But she just couldn't get to sleep.

"Settle."

"Huh?"

"Your body is still tense. There is no call for it. I told you, nothing will happen tonight. We have accepted fate and come to an agreement."

With a sigh Kagome tried to relax. "Last time you touched me it didn't exactly go over all that well."

"I understand why, but......................."

"I know. I accept it. You are just going to have to get used to the fact that it is going to take me more than just a a few hours to get over last night. And the next time we do 'that', I am going to be even more nervous remembering the pain I felt last time. Humans can't just turn things on and off like a demon can."

With a sigh Sesshomaru let go of her waist and moved his hand up to cup her face and turn it so that he could look down into her face. "But one thing that you need to understand about me. When I give my word, I stick too it." Then without warning her he dipped his head and gently placed his lips to her own. Pulling a gasp from her. After a moment he pulled his mouth from hers and then laid back down behind her, his arm going around her wasit again.

Kagome turned her head and gently touched her lips. He was gentle as he kissed her and there was a tingle that she never thought she would have felt with him that still lingered. Then her eyes went wide and she pushed herself up to a sitting postition and turned to look at him. "How?"

Propping himself up on his elbow he arched an eyebrow at her. "How what?"

"I don't know why I didn't notice it before, but you have both your arms."

"I don't understand?"

Kagome turned so that she could look straight down at him. "The very first time I met you, you used a fake Izaoie and got to get the pearl out of Inuyasha's eye to find your father's grave. Then you and Inuyasha fought over Tetsuaiga. He cut your right arm off. How do you have it back?"

"My mother wears beads that can heal anything. Even draw a soul back from the netherworld. She fixed it."

"I see."

Reaching up he pulled her back down to lay with him and gripped her waist. "If you have anymore questions save them for tomorrow."

"I have just one more right now."

"Nani?"

"Why did you kiss me like that?"

"Did you not like it?"

"That wasn't my question."

"I wanted to. Is that answer enough for you?"

"Sure." As she found herself strangely relaxing and sleep pulling at her Kagome wondered how long she could make him wait before he would force her again. 'I prolly shouldn't do that though. If his demon didn't like that it might prove to be worse for me than I want.'
