Kagome smiles as she watches Shippo stuff his mouth full of food that he snuck from the banquet table. It seems he naturally stole it without thinking, Kagome frowns slightly when she thinks of that.
‘I'm going to have to break him of that’ she thinks absentmindedly while grabbing a cloth next to her hand, “Shippo come here you have food all over your face” she giggles and wipes his face off.
Shippo flushes and mumbles thank you before leaping back onto her shoulder as Kagome gets up and pushes her way through the crowd to go look at the various stalls. When they pass a stall with children’s toys Kagome notices Shippo’s eyes stare at a doll longingly. Kagome walks over to the stand and puts a few coins on the counter, “I would like that doll please” she points to the doll.
Shippo’s eyes widen in shock when Kagome hands the doll to him with a smile, “a welcoming gift” she says kissing his cheek while he carefully takes the doll.
He looks at her with wide eyes, “I’ve never gotten a gift before” he says in a hushed whisper.
Kagome eyes go wide and she gasps when she sees the adorable look on his face, “you’re so cute!!!!”

Sesshomaru flinches when an ear piercing squeal erupts from the stand area, hurting his sensitive ears. He notices Inuyasha rubbing his ears as he glares in the direction the squeal came from and rolls his eyes; he doesn’t know the half of it with his weak half breed senses. Sesshomaru smirks inwardly or perhaps the half-breed does know the half of it. Sesshomaru stiffens when he smells a familiar scent approaching.
“Inuyasha your wench is approaching” Sesshomaru says in a cool voice without looking at him as he leans back in his chair to the left of the head of the table.
Inuyasha immediately starts sniffing the air in excitement his ears twitching, before his eyes darken and he snarls at Sesshomaru, “you asshole!” just as a whirlwind appears above the tree line.
“With the way you two bicker it would seem as if you were mated” Sesshomaru says still in a cool tone never once glancing at Inuyasha as he picks up his sake, “did I get it wrong? Are you the wench in your relationship?”
Inuyasha’s snarls increase in volume just as the whirlwind stops in front of them and disappears revealing the Ookami prince of the east.
“So this is the measly town who worships you guys” Koga says as a greeting while looking around with interest before running his tongue over his fangs, “They look tasty.”
One thing about the eastern clan that isn’t a secret is there taste for meat; one of their favorites is human. Of course they don’t go and kill countless amounts of humans, in fact they rarely ever eat human. For them it’s like a rare delicacy almost, they only eat humans when food is scarce- which is also rare-, or if they get into a fight with a human. Sesshomaru was always disgusted by this, because humans smell awful, how could they taste any better?
Inuyasha growls at Koga, “I dare you to eat some one here it’ll give me a reason to kick your ass” Koga growls lowly and leans towards him, his lip curling.
“Dog Turd I didn’t see you there, did you figure out what a bath was? Your smell isn’t as bad today” Koga leans in and sniffs, “actually you smell good… who the hell have you been hanging out with?” Koga says smelling cherry blossoms and vanilla on him, “Cause I sure as hell now that ain’t your smell” Inuyasha snarls and opens his mouth to say a scathing retort when a voice calls out.
“Hey! If you’re going to fight do it in the woods! It was crappy setting it up; we don’t need you wrecking it!” Kagome yells from one of the food stands, her hand on her hip as her other shakes at them disapprovingly.
Koga straightens immediately and stares at Kagome before a wolfish grin breaks out across his face. Sesshomaru feels his beast stir in anger at the scent of arousal coming from the wolf demon.
‘How dare he look at our female like that!’
‘She isn’t our female you stupid dog!’ though Sesshomaru feels his own anger at Koga he ignores it. Mostly.
‘ Oh but I'm your stupid dog!’ His beast answers sarcastically before snarling when Koga dashes towards Kagome, followed by Inuyasha who is still yelling insults. No one sees the cup of sake get crushed in Sesshomaru’s hand.
Kagome lifts an eyebrow questioningly when she notices the male running at her.
‘What the hell does he want?’ Her brow furrows in confusion as he slides to a stop in front of her before grabbing her hand between his.
“You are a jewel” He says excitedly stalking around her in a circle as if assessing her, “A beautiful jewel too” His tail wags excitedly as Kagome takes him in.
He is tall, towering over Kagome. His dark black hair pulled back into a high ponytail with a brown pelt head wrap around his head. His eyes are a bright blue color that stands out against his darkly tanned skin. His chin is slightly pointy, but not as pointy as the fangs he is flashing at her in a wide grin. He is wearing an armored chest plate with brown wolf fur as short sleeves and a wrap around pelt.
Kagome’s lips purse, ‘he is a very attractive male for sure. But not my type.’
She opens her moth to answer his compliments with a simple thank you when Inuyasha lands next to Koga and begins growling.
“What’s wrong asshole? To scared to fight me?” Inuyasha snaps and then he sees Kagome, “what are you doing here wench?”
“Well last I checked I lived here” Kagome snaps right back, “Why are you here?”
“You have memory issues bitch? I came here for the festival In my honor!” Inuyasha says with a smirk
“Yeah in honor of our protectors! You probably just bitch and cry while others do the protecting!”
Inuyasha retort is cut off by Koga’s loud laughter as he doubles over clutching his stomach, “what the hell are you laughing at!” Inuyasha growls.
Koga laughs even louder before trying to calm down while saying, “”Oh she is perfect” he grins even wider if possible and grabs Kagome’s hand in-between his as her eyebrows raise in surprise and Shippo eyes him distrustfully.
“Perfect for what?” Kagome asks cautiously while trying to dislodge her hand from his vice like grip.
“Being my alpha female” Koga answers causing Inuyasha to splutter and Kagome’s brow to scrunch in confusion.
“I'm sorry but what does that mean?” Kagome asks at the same time Inuyasha says, “Are you nuts!”
“You can’t bring a human into a tribe that likes to eat humans and expect her to lead them!” Inuyasha growls, subconsciously stepping in front of Kagome in a protective stance.
Kagome stiffens, ‘eat humans?’ Shippo climbs down into Kagome’s arms and hugs her sensing her need for comfort as she stands in shock, ‘and what does he mean lead them?’
“Obviously I would make sure we stopped eating humans… well at least in front of her.” Koga says in a ‘duh’ sort of way.
“And what if they decide they are hungry and take a bite?” Inuyasha growls, “What then?”
Koga tilts his head to the side and stares at Inuyasha questioningly before saying, “what’s going on with you mutt-face? I thought you liked Kikyo.”
Inuyasha’ face turns bright red before he splutters, “it’s not like that, I-I-its jus this village is under my protection and she is on this village so I won’t let you put her in danger” Inuyasha’s voice turns steely with determination.
Kagome stares at his back in shock as he stands protectively in front of her and feels her cheeks burn in shame. She hugs Shippo to her chest as she remembers what she said to him. She reaches out her hand and tugs on his sleeve like a small child would its parent.
“Inuyasha?” she calls out in a small voice filled with shame. His ear twitches and he glances at her over his shoulder eyebrow raised questioningly, “I’m sorry about what I said earlier. I see now it wasn’t true and I was just being petty.”
Inuyasha’s face turns even redder as he stammers out, “whatever” His ears flatten to his head as he looks away.
“Hey mutt! Don’t flirt with my woman!” Koga growls pushing his hands into Inuyasha’s chest, making him back up a few steps and bump into Kagome who loses her balance.
Her arms pinwheel and Shippo leaps out of her arms onto the ground as she begins to fall backwards. Kagome’s eyes squeeze shut as she waits for her body to smack against the ground. She feels the air rush up around her just before she lands in a pair of arms. She peeks her eye open and sees emotionless gold eyes staring down at her.

Sesshomaru had been sitting watching their interaction from his seat, and had to grip the edge of the table to keep from beheading Koga when he claimed Kagome as his.
‘My bitch!’ His beast had roared clawing to get free of his chains and cage.
Sesshomaru knew his eyes had bleed red and instantly got a hold of his beast forcing it into submission, which was harder than it, should have been. He presses his lips together as he watches Inuyasha start arguing with Koga, and can’t help but roll his eyes at the annoyingness of them. Insolent fools. His eyes widen when he hears Kagome apologize for her actions. Not most females would admit to being wrong… hell mostly anyone has a hard time doing that. Then she was being knocked over and he just reacted and next thing he knew he had her cradled in his arms.
He eyes Koga and Inuyasha as they continue to bicker, completely oblivious to the fact they almost knocked her on the ground. He sneers before glancing down at the kit staring up at him with wide eyes. He glares at him before doing something that he regretted immensely later.

He went off into the wood with Kagome. By himself.

Kagome stares up at Sesshomaru with wide eyes as he dashes into the woods.
‘What the hell is he doing?’
“Excuse me but would you mind putting me down?” she snaps struggling to get out of his arms, while ignoring the strange warm feeling building up in her body from his nearness.
Her face burns a dark red when she feels her nipples pebble into hard points. How could her body do this to her? She squeezes her thighs together while scolding herself.
‘This is the arrogant asshole remember? Stop ogling his… deliciously handsome face that I just want to trace every line of- NO! Stop! Bad Kagome!’
Sesshomaru lands in a moonlit clearing and drops kagome onto the ground before pacing in front of her, his elegant fingers running through his silky strands. Kagome glares up at him in anger as she pushes to her feet and puts her hands on her hips.
“You asshole! What’s the point of catching me if your just gonna drop me!” When he doesn’t answer and continues pacing as if she isn’t there she throws up her hands, “what is wrong with you! Did you lose your voice?”
‘Ooh I hope not it’s so deep and sexy- SHUT UP!!! ‘Kagome shakes her head to clear her thoughts ‘what is wrong with me?’
Sesshomaru is also trying to get himself under control.
‘Why is this wench capturing this Sesshomaru’s attention so? What is luring me to her?’
Then Sesshomaru comes to a conclusion. It must be witch craft! She has put a spell on this Sesshomaru that is the only logical reason!
“Wench, remove the spell you have placed upon this Sesshomaru” He says spinning around in her direction and glaring at her.
“Wait what? The spell I have placed upon you?” Kagome eyes him warily suddenly realizing she may be alone in the woods with a mad man.
“Do not make me repeat myself wench” Sesshomaru snarls suddenly feeling stupid but still pushing forward.
“Uh well I don’t know what you’re talking about so… I’m gonna go, and you can stay out here and do whatever you want” Kagome spins around and begins marching towards the village.
A loud snarl behind her shocks Kagome before she finds herself pinned to a tree by a now red eyed Sesshomaru, his lips pulled back reveling sharp fangs. A deep rumbling growl comes out of his chest as he pushes his body against hers. Kagome struggles to get out of his vice like grip, as he pins her arms above her head in one hand while his other wraps around her neck.
“What is wrong with you!” Kagome cries in anger as she tries to kick him.
Sesshomaru’s growl increase in volume and he lets go of her throat and leans down and bites it, not hard enough to break the skin but enough to make kagome freeze in fear of breaking the fragile skin. Sesshomaru rumbles his approval before running his tongue up her neck to her ear as Kagome squeezes her eyes shut.
“What have you done to this Sesshomaru?” He pants in her ear before nuzzling his nose into her neck, inhaling deeply.
Kagome shivers softly at the feel of his warm breath against her neck. Her mind is screaming at her to push him away, just a few seconds ago he was trying to strangle you! But her body won’t move, and has turned to a puddle. Her knees shake as she pants when he suckles on her pulse point, before kissing his way up her neck. He pulls back and looks down at her with lust filled red eyes before groaning in defeat and leaning down and taking her mouth in his.
Kagome’s eyes widen in shock at the feel of his surprisingly soft lips against hers, uncertainty fills her until his tongue pushes its way into her mouth. She moans softly and kisses him back, their tongues dueling, fighting for dominance.
Sesshomaru was sure he had died and went to heaven when he tasted the sweetness of her mouth, and more importantly her responding lips against his. He growls his approval when she nips at his lip and releases her arms to slide his hands around her back and down to cup her ass. He lifts her up sliding her kimono up to her hips, her legs wrapping around his waist. He suckles on her tongue while grinding his groin into her, and pushing her more firmly against the tree.
Kagome squeaks at the pleasurable feeling of his hard member rubbing against her down there. She pants for air when he releases her mouth to trail kisses back down her neck.
‘Kami he feels good’ she thinks closing her eyes in pleasure when one of his hands slides up to cup her breast.
Sesshomaru purrs at the feel of her full breast in his palm and rubs her nipple in-between to clawed fingers causing Kagome’s breath to hitch in pleasure. She rubs herself more firmly against him. Sesshomaru rumbles his approval before kissing down to the neck line of her kimono and pulling it down out of the way, her breasts popping free. Kagome gasps in shock when his mouth takes a hold of her nipple and sucks hard before nipping at it roughly. Kagome squeals and her back arches in pleasure as his hand slides from her chest down to in-between her legs.
He moans around her nipple when he feels how wet she is as he slides his fingers up to her clit and pinching it before soothing it with a firm rub. Kagome groans loudly and grinds her pussy into his hand. She gasps softly when she feels one of his fingers enter her and begin moving swiftly hitting a spot in her that makes her back arch and something build in her stomach. Sesshomaru releases her pink nipple with a soft pop before kissing and licking his way up to her ear.
He licks the shell of her ear before whispering, “Do you like that bitch? Do you like your mate’s fingers inside of you?” Sesshomaru stiffens when he realizes what he just said and he jumps back letting her drop to the forest floor with a thud.
Kagome sits in shock on the ground as her muddled mind tries to figure out how she went from being in-between sesshomaru and a tree to the ground. Then her mind clears and she realizes what she just did. She raises a shaky hand to her mouth as tears fill her eyes.
‘I just acted like a whore in front of the heir to the western lands’
She gulps and doesn’t even get angry that she was dropped to the floor or the fact that Sesshomaru is nowhere to be seen as she pulls her knees to her chest and buries her face into her knees.

I knew I said Kikyo would also be making an appearance but one thing led to the other and she didnt fit in the story, at least I got the Kagome and Sesshomaru part right? She will most likely show up in the next chapter.
