Dear Readers,
I want to apologize for being gone so long. I got some of the longest reviews from this story and I feel bad since I have been having computer malfunctions, life and other stories taking precedence over my writings. I really like this story also since this is one of my favorites. I am also working on Getting Lucky and I will be working on my Black Butler story as well.
I want to thank everyone who has reviewed and thank you for the support. It has been a rough few years for me. With a divorce, moving in on my own while taking care of my son, and figuring out how to survive on little money. I can’t work due to my mental condition so I have more time to work on these stories, however I am having computer issues so you will have to bear with me. The chapters are coming as quickly as I can get them out.
I want to warn you that some chapters may seem short. It isn’t because I am not trying to make them longer, it is partially because of my computer issues so when a chapter ends I do my best to post it before I lose my work.
Anyway, I will leave you responses to your reviews at the top of my chapters. I will try to get to all of you who review as I do appreciate you all. I just hope I have some fans left since it seems that even the Inuyasha fandom is dwindling in numbers which is unfortunate.

Sesshoumaru knew his Mother told him to stay behind, but he could not. He stealthily watched his Mother with Inuyasha and watched Inuyasha kill knowing exactly how he felt. He knew exactly what his brother was thinking and at first he was all for it. Let the wolf have the wench, but his Mother had to but her nose into things.
Once his Mother left Sesshoumaru watched Inuyasha clean the blood off his arms and clothing. He was cleaning his armor as well. Sesshoumaru slowly let his presence be known as he cautiously approached his brother.
“Stop sneaking around Sess, I know you’re there.”
Inuyasha said and Sesshoumaru stopped and frowned.
“I wasn’t sneaking. I was just trying to make sure you were ok.”
Sesshoumaru said and Inuyasha laughed as he turned around.
“You are a terrible liar.”
Inuyasha said and Sesshoumaru pouted.
“I am not lying. I was very concerned.”
Sesshoumaru said and Inuyasha rushed up then pounced on Sesshoumaru knocking him over.
“You are never that concerned Sess. Besides I am a big boy and can handle myself.”
Inuyasha said as he play fought with his brother.
“That is how you got kidnapped and almost raped.”
Sesshoumaru said as he rolled his little brother over as to not let the pup think he was the Alpha.
“I had a plan, it just got a bit fucked up. You can’t tell me all your plans go the way you want them to.”
Inuyasha said and Sesshoumaru merely said Hn to that.
“Kiss me.”
Sesshoumaru said and Inuyasha flipped Sesshoumaru off of him.
“Catch me first.”
Inuyasha said as he wanted to play.
The two brothers ran with Inuyasha flying through the trees as Sesshoumaru flew behind him as Sesshoumaru let Inuyasha have his game. Sesshoumaru raced through the forests with Inuyasha as Inuyasha slipped under trees and around them making it a challenge for his brother until Sesshoumaru finally had enough and wanted his kisses. Catching Inuyasha mid leap Sesshoumaru pulled Inuyasha to the ground and smirked at his brother.
“Kiss me now.”
Sesshoumaru said as Inuyasha then kissed him.
“Be honest with me Sess. Why do you want to mate my wife?”
Inuyasha asked and Sesshoumaru pouted.
“I don’t want to, but I want you happy. I also want her future information. It is easier to read her mind if I am her mate. Her pure powers do not give me much room to work with.”
Sesshoumaru said and Inuyasha nodded.
“Don’t do it to make me happy Sess and if you want that modern info I’ll get it for you. I don’t want you to mate her. Unless you love her don’t do it.”
Inuyasha said seriously.
“Do you not think I have been trying to find a way to deal with this Inuyasha? I am selfish. I want you to myself and I hate sharing you. My Mother is right about a few things about me. I am selfish and to a point self-centered. I am not vain just because I know I am beautiful. I am also not egotistical. I know what I am, a purebred dog demon with more power than any man needs. Sometimes it is a curse to be beautiful and powerful. It is lonely and I am not cold. I can be very caring and affectionate. It is just I have few things to myself and the few things I have I had to earn through blood sweat and tears. We are not that different brother.’
“All I have can be taken away in a blink of an eye. I fear for the future. I have decided to be the bearer of our child which means you have to protect me for a change. I am not too thrilled with this concept, but we do not know if you will ever be a bearer and I don’t want to wait for your 300^th birth year to have our pups. I hope before that point you will go into heat so I am not the only one doing this.’
“I am afraid Inuyasha. Males have died giving birth to their young. Until now I have not truly thought about what I could lose, but I don’t want to lose you. I don’t want to be in this life alone and I want my heir.’
“All these things we have, the lands, the riches, and fancy clothes will only last for so long. I know after living 750 years of life that things change quickly. Father died and I can die.’
“It did not occur to me for several hundred years how lonely I truly am. Jaken thinks he understands me as does Rin, but they do not. They have no idea the burdens I carry and the fact that I want to die in battle not in some castle. I want to die fighting at your side. That is my dream and for a time it was for you to end my life. I wanted the loneliness to end. Only you understand me brother not all these Lords and definitely not my Mother.’
“You know loneliness and you know what it is like to have people consider you weak. I am not weak, but for a long time I was considered as such. I have had to fight to prove myself and although I was terrible to you I knew I was making you stronger.’
“I hate competition and I hate having to fight for everything all the time, but I know it is my destiny to do such.’
“I want to like your wife. I really do, but at the same time I hate her. I hate that I have to share you with her. I’m not going to pretend to be something that I am not. I want the pup in her belly to be ours not yours and hers. It is a terrible thing to wish, but I wish your wife was barren.’
“Still I love you so I will be fair. I will be nice to your wife and I will do my best to be a decent Uncle, but do not think I will coddle them or her. I will be civil and as kind as one can be for my station in this life.’
“I used to talk to you when you were pinned to that tree by that arrow. I spoke to you many times wishing you could hear me.’
“I thought you were lost to me. Then she came and saved you. I hated her for that since I could not. You woke and saw her face first. I was so angry with you. You wanted to become human and die. I realized that I was losing you to these human women.’
“You have always been mine and I saw you throwing yourself away. It made me ill. I despise those who took you and ruined my perfect little brother. I hate all humans except for Rin and you when you become one. They are like ants that multiply and destroy all they touch. They murdered our Father. They stole Father from us and I won’t forgive them for that.”
Sesshoumaru said angrily as he did hate them.
“What about Kohaku? You did protect him.”
Inuyasha asked and Sesshoumaru snorted which wasn’t very Sesshoumaru like.
“I protected the shard so Naraku could come after it and come after me so I could destroy him. Kohaku was a tool I used to kill Naraku. The boy had no sense of self preservation and Rin liked him. Rin needed a companion and thus it was acceptable at the time to give Rin her friend. Rin is a very special human and she was not raised to fear me. She helped me when no one else would have and kept me company. Rin is dear to me and as I said I can be affectionate to those I care for. I am not cold. I used Kohaku I did not like him.”
Sesshoumaru said flatly as he did not like humans. They were dirty pests.
“Why did you save my pack then and Kagome so many times?”
Inuyasha asked curious about this.
“I did it for you and for Rin. I loved you and I love you. Your pack made you happy which is part of the reason they are with us. I also like the taijia uniform on Sango. I miss seeing her in it.”
Sesshoumaru said and Inuyasha chuckled since Sesshoumaru was amusing for a demon man who did not like humans.
“See you don’t hate all humans. You like Sango.”
Inuyasha said with a knowing smirk.
“I like the uniform Inuyasha and I am not blind. I am a man. It isn’t like I do not notice things and for having three children she is tight. It is the monk I have to watch now that he is no longer human. His cursed hand may be removed if he cannot keep it to himself.”
Sesshoumaru said and Inuyasha laughed since he knew how bad Miroku wanted to touch gorgeous people’s asses and women’s boobs. His wandering hand knew no bounds of depravity.
“Miroku is fairly harmless. He likes to grope and be groped. I think if someone groped him once in a while he might back off a bit since he is usually the one doing the chasing. He should have been turned into a weasel hanyou. You will end up rich by him, but at what cost since he is a thieving monk no matter how good he tries to be. It wouldn’t be Miroku if he was not flirting and swindling and I like him as he is even if he is gonna get killed for it one of these days.”
Inuyasha said and Sesshoumaru did have to smile. Sesshoumaru did like the monk as long as he kept his hands from groping his person or from stealing from him.
“Fine I grudgingly admit I like most of your pack. They are acceptable for once humans.”
Sesshoumaru said and Inuyasha smiled widely as he placed a hand on Sesshoumaru trying to help him get through all of this. Inuyasha knew life was hard for Sesshoumaru, but things would get better and between those of his pack and himself he would be able to ease the burdens off of Sesshoumaru’s shoulders a bit.
“Well you will like Kagome once you get to know her. I promise you that you will. She is very smart and fact is as much as you can learn from her about the future there is much she does not know about these times so you can teach her some things as well.’
“She used to go to a place called school and learned all sorts of things. She also went to college for a few years which is another school. She would bring her books with her and study for tests whatever that was. She misses her friends from school, her Mom and Grandpa since her Dad died too and misses her brother. She gave up her whole life to be with me.’
“There were things called cars people drove in, I drove in, and people thought I was in costume so if there were demons there weren’t very many or they blended in with the humans. They had a moving box with pictures, hot and cold water that came from what was called a tap that was hooked to things called pipes. Kagome knows a lot of this stuff. You should sit and talk to her. She has a lot of knowledge that can help us as time passes.”
Inuyasha said and Sesshoumaru was intrigued. He wanted to learn about these pipes, cars, and about Kagome’s education. He wanted to know about this thing called school and what it entailed. He had historians and all sorts of people under him doing various jobs, but to be honest he was not that good at mathematics and only knew what he was taught by his Father and Mother as well as his few tutors who trained him in the ways of being a Lord. It was odd that a woman would be so well educated as many did not know how to read or write. Even Sesshoumaru was taught very little concerning the world outside of Japan. He knew some of China and of the neighboring countries, but it was limited as his home was the Western Lands of this country. It was rich land, good land, but he knew there was more out there.
“Inuyasha just how many humans did you see in Japan when you went to visit Kagome’s time?”
Sesshoumaru asked as Inuyasha thought about this.
“Hundreds, maybe even thousands why?”
Inuyasha asked and Sesshoumaru thought about things. Perhaps it was time to start limiting the amounts of children born to humans and let some bandits as well as lower demons destroy them.
“We need to change the course of history before we die out Inuyasha. It is time to over populate the demons and drive humans numbers down. We need to spread word far and wide for demons to expand the lands outward. We start in Japan and we extend ourselves outward taking up more land and start populating it with our kind before it is too late.”
Sesshoumaru said as this was what he feared. He did not want their kind dying out.
“Sesshoumaru we cannot commit genocide with the humans. There are too damn many of them. From what Kagome said China is full of humans. It is one of the most populated countries on the map.”
Inuyasha said and Sesshoumaru was confused. What was genocide?
“What is this word genocide? What does that mean?”
Sesshoumaru asked and Inuyasha explained as best he could.
“Humans are everywhere brother. We will be outnumbered and we will die. They do have the fighting spirit to live.”
Inuyasha said and Sesshoumaru shook his head no.
“We are not committing genocide we are however expanding and that means war. If Kagome can teach us about the future we can prevent many things Inuyasha. I have limited our demons to keep their populations down for certain reasons, but I can have demons start taking over areas of land and breeding out the humans. Hanyous can be born and eventually like you my brother hanyous will mate with each other producing more full demon offspring. We breed them out. I have demon courtiers in China all I have to do is give them the word and they will spread like wildfire. The humans won’t see this coming. Their women are entranced by our beauty and we can make this work. We kill the men and take the women. Even the damn cat demons will agree with me and I do owe Tauren a visit. They still owe me.”
Sesshoumaru said as he was excited about this prospect. It would work.
