Oh Inuyasha, why do you do this to me?� Now, it feels like ending this misery is the
only choice I have�Or is it?� Kagome slowly walked along a path hidden by trees;
careful to avoid his presence.� Looking
up, she noted that he was walking with his head to the ground; making his way
to the hut.� In an awe of sick interest
and amusement, Kagome watched her feet as she walked, letting her thoughts
wander.� He has already told everyone what I have been doing to myself� It�s not
like its any secret, I wonder if he realizes that he made this even worse?�

Upon
looking back up at the path, Kagome noticed that Inuyasha and diverted his
course and seemed to be talking to someone.�
Kagome moved from behind the trees hoping to catch a glimpse of the
mysterious ghost that Inuyasha was speaking to.�
Her heart dropped when she realized it was Kikyo.� Walking close enough to be able to hear,
Kagome listened.�

�Kikyo,�
He starts, but is cut off by Kikyo�s warm and passionate kiss.� The kiss becomes deeper and Kikyo begins to
take off his shirt.

�Kikyo
stop�I have to talk to you.� Inuyasha says quickly; panting.

Inuyasha you�re hurting me again.� Inuyasha stop it I�m right behind the tree
can�t you see me.� Kagome thought looking away.� Her tears were becoming too much to hold
back; she couldn�t bear to look.�

�What
do you want to talk about?�� Kikyo�s
voice echoed coldly through Kagome�s ears.

�I want
to talk about us�There is something I need to ask of you.�� Inuyasha said.� In curiosity, Kagome looked back towards the
couple.

�What
is it that you want to ask my dearest?��
Kikyo said looking up to his eyes.

�Well�
if I returned with Kagome� at least until she stable�s enough to continue with
her life�afterwards, I wanted to know� Would you be the mother of my pups?�� Inuyasha said, shyly glancing up at her
wondering face; there was a crinkle in his brow.

You�re going to come back to me for pity? Then return and
have children with her? Oh Kami, Inuyasha. Cutting off her own
hurt thoughts, Kagome walked from behind the tree and up to the hanyou.

�Inuyasha
no don�t do it! �If you come back with me
for pity, it will only make things worse, don�t you see that if you do that
then I will never be able to continue
with my life?�� Kagome bellowed in
tears.� His response was nothing; he
wasn�t even looking at her.� Did he hear?

�Yes my
dearest, I will� I would love nothing more.��
Kikyo squeaked in a pleasurable cry; wrapping her arms tightly around
his neck.�

Inuyasha I�m right in front of you.� Look at me, do you even know I�m alive.� Do you even know I�m talking to you? Do you? Kagome thought solemnly

�I love
you Inuyasha, more than words can ever express, going back to Kagome until that
poor pathetic excuse of a woman can get over the fact that you love me, is no problem at all my love...�
Kikyo replied; pulling her body closer to Inuyasha�s muscular frame.

�Kami,
I love you too Kikyo� so much.� Inuyasha whispered, bringing his lips upon her
own; holding strong to her small waist�lingering as if never wanting to let her
go.

What?� Inuyasha,
you told me that your love for me would never end�how could you betray me so?� Kagome contemplated in tears.

�Inuyasha
look at me.� I�m right in front of
you.� Why are you hurting me again?
You�re talking right in front of me.�� Kagome
screamed in tears; falling to her knees.

Inuyasha please look at me. Why can�t you see or hear me?
Have you completely forgotten me? Why did I feel like someone was stabbing me
when you asked her that? Can it be that I still love you? These feeling are
killing me...this wasteful love is tearing me apart� Kagome cried to herself; her sobs becoming harder� but no
one seemed to notice.

�Let us
walk around the woods for awhile, Kikyo.��
Kagome stops in attention again, hearing Inuyasha speak to Kikyo.

�That
sounds nice, dearest.� Kikyo whispers low and seductively.� As they disappear within the trees; leaving
Kagome alone, she pounds at the earth below her.

�Inuyasha�!
Inuyasha why?� Kagome yells, almost howling.�
�Why have you abandoned me? I�m I no longer your desire!� You would rather have that clay stature than
me?� Kagome screams.� I can still hear their voices... so distant yet, so close�

�Inuyasha,� Kikyo resounds
slowly.

�Kikyo� Inuyasha quips romantically.� The tone in his voice undoubtedly told of
what was painstakingly coming next.� It
hurt to think of them� mating.

�� Get
out of my head. Leave me alone please leave me alone. Inuyasha, I never did
anything to deserve this hurt�I love you� I love you so much� I know that I
do.� Inuyasha, what have I ever done to
wrong you?� I'm sorry� I'm sorry for
whatever it was that I did to lose your love��
For this deceit I hate you� you�ve hurt me, I was a blind fool to trust
in your pathetic lies, Inuyasha. I was pathetic. Kagome�s mind was aching.

�I am
pathetic�� She spoke aloud, her tears falling once more as her vision became
clouded and started to fade into something else.� Reopening her eyes, Kagome watch the
surroundings of the forest warp into the surroundings of the small confining
hut.��

It was only a dream?�
None of that really happened� but, it hurt so much� it was so real.� Sitting
up from her flat, Kagome looked around; wiping the tears that continued to fall
upon her stained cheeks.� No wonder no one could hear me�� As she lay back down, exhausted on her flat,
she couldn't help but wonder as she drifted back into slumber.

That�s what is going to happen inevitably � isn�t
it.� It
was really more of a statement to the Kami, than a question.� Against her will, she felt herself fall back into
her torturous sleep.
