Chapter 5- Thief-Napped

Sesshoumaru pulled the silk blanket and covered their nude bodies from the world's view and embraced Kagome tighter in his arms.
"I don't know what you have done to me... Kagome. But no other shall have you" Sesshoumaru whispered to the night, as he too drifted asleep, surrounded comfortably by her scent.
Present...
His eyes cracked open lazily at the ray of sunlight streaming from the windows. Sesshoumaru looked to his left to find Kagome sleeping heavily with her mouth wide open and snoring gently.
'Hn, how could she look so childlike at a given moment and so enchanting on others? I almost regret taking her innocence...' Sesshoumaru let out a soft chuckle.
"... but it was worth it" he finished out loud. Sesshoumaru eased Kagome out of his arms and put on his hamakas and walked towards the study. He quickly scribbled a note for Kagome and left to the bathing chamber.
Sesshoumaru walked towards Yuko and Yuki's study. He knocked and waited for a response. Naturally, he wouldn't have to knock, but he was taught manners and know how to use it. "Enter" came a feminine voice.
Sesshoumaru stepped in and was greeted by the twins and Jyunchi.
"This Sesshoumaru will offer large amounts of money in order to keep Kagome untouched by other males. If you should fail, your lives belong to this Sesshoumaru" Jyunchi raised an eyebrow and the twins gasped.
"Oh my, Sesshoumaru-sama, are you sure? Kagome, she's quite plain" Yuko bluntly stated. He didn't like her response. 'The female wench insists that our Kagome is not worthy of us!'
"Female, you do well if you do not speak of Kagome as if she's not worthy. This Sesshoumaru never goes back on his words."
"As you command" the twins bowed low. Sesshoumaru reached inside his kimono (MS- i was going to say Yukata but hmm Kimono sounds better, just know that it's his shirt.. lol) and pulled out a crimson pouch; embroidered with gold thread, filled with gold and casually tossed it on the table.
"Heed my words, he is not to be touched by other males, Jyunchi, come we shall depart."
Jyunchi sighed and wrapped his arms around Yuki and Yuko and gave their bottom a quick squeeze, and swiftly caught up with Sesshoumaru.
"Hey Fluffy, are you serious about that girl?" Sesshoumaru and Jyunchi boarded the waiting carriage and glared at Kouga.
"Hn. This Sesshoumaru does not answer to anyone"
"Jerk-off" Jyunchi mumbled and earned a growl from Sesshoumaru. The trip back to the Western palace will take a long long time.

Kagome stirred softly in the silk sheets.
"Hmm..." She shifted from laying on her back to her stomach, and felt something scratch her wrist gently. Kagome lazily lifted her head and stared at the offending object.
"What is this?" She glanced around to find a piece of paper folded in half. Kagome sat up on the bed and wrapped the sheets around her torso. She opened the paper and saw neatly scribbled handwriting.
"Kagome, This Sesshoumaru has business to attend to and will return for you in several days. Remember you are not to be touched by other males, This Sesshoumaru shall kill them if there are to be, and you will be punished.
You are Mine, and Only Mine,
Sesshoumaru"
Kagome scrunched her nose at the paper. "Hmm, he is stuck up. And protective. But there's no way i'm staying here."
"Kagome?" a couple of knocks came after someone called out her name. "Kagome, may I come in? It's Sango"
"Hai!" Sango walked in with a fresh plain white kimono. "Good Morning Kagome, how was your night with the Ice Prince?" Sango dragged Kagome into the bathing chamber and Kagome stepped into the tub. "Was he rough? Oh! Was he cold?"
"No, Sango-chan, He was... gentle and warm" Kagome sighed dreamily and giggled. Sango joined in soon after. "Kagome, oh we're just going to be best of friends! I can't wait to help you tomorrow!"
"Tomorrow??" Kagome gasped. "What are you talking about?"
"Sesshoumaru ordered Yuko and Yuki-sama to keep you safe from other males' touch. So You're going to stay here as long as the Prince is interested in you."
"Oh my" Kagome felt light headed, "I can't stay Sango-chan, you have to help me escape. I don't want to stay here and serve anyone this way ever again, please Sango-chan, help me escape" Kagome launched herself into Sango's arms and sobbed.
"Aw Kagome, please don't cry. Okay okay, I'll help you escape. Come on, let's get you dressed" Kagome nodded numbly and allowed Sango to help her dress. Sango quickly led Kagome to the servant quarters of the brothel and slipped through the kitchen. After several minutes of long halls and twists and turns, they reached their destination, the backdoor. Sango hugged Kagome tightly.
"Kagome, listen you must leave this city. You must go further west, Yuko and Yuki basically run this premise and when they catch you, they will not let you go. Here, take this" Sango reached into her kimono and handed her a pouch. "It's nothing much, but I've saved up some extra money. Take it, and go!" Sango pushed her through the back door. Tears stream down Kagome's eyes. She quickly embraced her newest friend.
All of a sudden, a series of loud bells sounded in the brothel. Sango's face paled and panicked. A loud shriek pierced the air, faintly sounding like "Sango."
"Oh no. They, They Found Out! Oh no, you have to go Kagome!" Sango attempted to push her out, Kagome latched onto her arms.
"No, they'll kill you, I'm sure they know you helped me escape, leave with me Sango. Please" Sango nodded, and they both darted around the back entrance.
"Sango-chan, we're almost there" sweat dripped down their foreheads, they ran for several more minutes and reached Kagome's shabby hut. Kagome burst in the hut and found Ken and Souta sitting idly sipping tea.
"Kagome, dear! Where have you been?" Ken looked up to his daughter, and her friend behind her. He was about to ask who she was until Kagome roughly pulled them both up onto their feet.
"Papa, we have no time, we have to go. Yuko and Yuki will put us in prison, maybe worse, we have to leave the city now! Papa, believe me, trust me" Kagome's eyes pleading eyes displayed how serious this matter was. Ken nodded and ran to the back of the hut and grabbed a box and they left without another word.

"Kagome, we can stop here for now, we are safe for tonight. Yuko and Yuki-sama won't stop their business to look for someone tonight out of all nights" Sango panted.
Kagome nodded and glanced up in the sky, it was getting dark and they needed fire.
"I'm going to go get some firewood, Sango if anyone should come, run away with my family, keep them safe" Kagome announced and walked into the forest. Not long after Kagome returned with a bundle of branches.
"San-" Kagome gasped as their camp came into view. Rouges already made fire at the campsite, and her family and Sango was nowhere in site. Kagome's heart skipped so fast in her chest she thought she felt her heart skip a couple of beats. Kagome noticed they were yelling, she inched closer, determined to discover some information.
"You pathetic dog! How can you lose a girl and an old man?!" The thief had heavy leather armour on, but it was worth and appeared thin. The man he was yelling at was a smaller build, but had a heavily untrimmed face.
"It wasn't my fault boss, the boy that was with them can fight! H-he bruised us with heavy branches" explained the smaller man. "You imbecile! The Brothel Twins is giving a ransom for those who capture them. ALL four of them" he struck the man across his face.
Kagome let out a breath of relief. "So they escaped, I have to catch up with them..." She backed a few steps and accidentally tripped on the roots of a tree and snapped several branches.
"Who is there?!" A few thieves ran to her before Kagome can get up. She felt arms roughly hauling her up and dragged her across the forest and into the campsite.
"It's a girl, boss" they roughly threw her down. Kagome coughed at the impact and gingerly looked up. A pair of dark brown eyes stared at her, almost as if he wants to eat her.
"My my my, what do we have here? A girl?" The thief boss leaned over her and gripped her chin and forced her on her knees. His eyes scanned her face and trailed his eyes down her body. "Look-e-here fellas, we caught us a play toy" his dark chuckled broke the silence. To Kagome's horror, the thieves began to remove their armour.
"No, please stop" Kagome backed away.
"Why girly? Your kimono shows that you work at the brothel, why are you refusing? We'll pay, handsomely" he growled and he pounced on top of Kagome. He looked up at one of his group and barked "You there! Bring the wooden planks and the ropes here, we'll have some fun."
Kagome watched in horror as the man followed orders. He dug the first plank on the ground and used the other and the rope to form a cross like stand. (MS- you know, a "+" sign)
"Great, my deary it's done, we will make sure you enjoy this" the thief boss laughed cruelly. He hauled Kagome up and pressed her against the stand and the others tied her arms to each of the stand. "No, please stop" Kagome begged, but in the back of her mind she knew they won't. 'Oh no, Kami-sama please help me' Kagome sobbed.
The thief boss went to the wagon and took out a whip. He grinned evilly at Kagome.
"We will have fun tonight" He said, and lifted the whip and whipped Kagome's torso tearing her kimono. Her scream pierced the dark, cloudy sky and her blood's scent filled the air. He continued to whip her endlessly and she didn't hold back her tears.
She thought she would die that night, if not physically, mentally and her soul would die as well. 'I don't want this, this is supposed to be gentle, and romantic... Like...' Kagome squeezed her eyes shut as she felt waves of pain pulse through her body. Her mind drifted to the gentle night Sesshoumaru made love to her. 'Sesshoumaru, help me, please.' Another whip caused her to scream the only thing she was thinking about,
"SESSHOUMARU!"

"Jyunchi, we are late to the palace" Sesshoumaru growled out as they boarded the carriage once more.
"I couldn't help it Fluffy! Those dumplings tastes oh so good" Jyunchi exclaimed as he licked his fingers clean. Sesshoumaru rolled his eyes in disgust and looked out the carriage window. His mind drifted to last night, his night with the beautiful Kagome. And growled when he remembered that Kouga was trying to court her.
"Sesshoumaru, hey you smell that?" Kouga spoke out. Sesshoumaru turned his head to Kouga. "What?"
"Sniff the air, you're an INU Youkai, you are supposed to be able to smell things much faster and further than other demons!" Kouga exclaimed and threw his hands up in the air.
"It smells like... salt? No tears, and... blood?" Jyunchi sniffed the air a couple of more times. Kouga gasped in realization "No! It couldn't be..."
"... Sesshoumaru, the blood is from..." Kouga paused, 'If I save her, she'll think I'm a hero!'
"... Kagome" Sesshoumaru growled out and leaped out of the carriage and darted to the source of it all. 'Damn it! Where is she?! Her scent is all over this place!' Sesshoumaru growled.
"SESSHOUMARU!" Sesshoumaru heard her scream and raced to Kagome. His heart skipped a beat when he reached his destination.
Kagome, HIS Kagome, was in the nude, tied to a wooden cross and heavy whip gashes bled freely. The thieves around her had their pants removed, showing their disgusting privates in the crisp air. The biggest man had parted Kagome's legs, near penetration.
Jyunchi, Miroku and Kouga caught up with Sesshoumaru and gasped in horror. Kagome herself, was near death, face as pale as the rice due to the massive loss of blood. They knew what's going to happen next, a battle.
Crimson blood bled into Sesshoumaru's eyes, his golden hues dilated into purple gems, and his beast was free. The beast let out a might Roar that shook all 4 lands. The lords around the land of Japan stopped what they were doing and looked into the sky. They knew, it was a cry of distress for ones mate.
Kagome whimpered and opened her eyes. "Sesshoumaru" she weakly whispered.
Sesshoumaru snarled at the thieves. He launched himself forward and released his poison whip and beheaded several thieves in one flick of a wrist. The thief boss whistled and the forest rumbled.
"Hahaha, you can't defeat the BlackArrowed Bandits!" the thief boss laughed as more thieves poured into the clearing with arrows notched and swords draw.
Sesshoumaru looked back to his companions "GO!" the beast growled out.
"YOU WILL DIE!" Sesshoumaru once more launched at the boss and fought blindly. Miroku snatched a thief's spear and skillfully used it as a staff.
"Sesshoumaru-sama! You must calm down!" Miroku called out. He turned to Jyunchi who at the moment was occupied with several thieves as well, then he looked towards Kouga, who was fighting off those who were coming to kill Kagome. Miroku let out a growl. 'If Sesshoumaru doesn't not concentrate, he will be ambushed!' Though Sesshoumaru is the probably the best soldier within the lands of Japan, one can't find blindly. 'Kami-sama, please give us a miracle.' He grunted as he took a blow in his gut.
Kagome heard metal clashing with each other and smelled blood all around her. 'I'm so tired, Sesshoumaru...' Kagome opened her eyes to see Sesshoumaru wounded by a slash from one of the thieves.
"Sesshoumaru..." Kagome whimpered. He was not himself, she knew it, this was not the gentle Sesshoumaru with his golden hues. This was his demon. "Sesshoumaru, come back to me."
Sesshoumaru's beast abruptly paused and looked at Kagome.
'Sesshoumaru, our mate calls, you shall have control back' the beast resided inside Sesshoumaru's mind once more and his eyes began to change back to the beautiful golden hue. He growled as he was pushed down by at least a dozen thieves.
"IMBECILES!" Sesshoumaru roared as he leaped up and used his whip and cleared a path of thieves. The thief boss knew they were going to die if they don't escape.
"ESCAPE! BLACKARROWS! LEAVE" the boss shouted once more and fled into the forest, along with the few remaining thieves. Sesshoumaru growled and quickly raced towards Kagome and untied her. He took off his kimono (MS- Okay, sexy, but he still have his hamakas on) and wrapped it around Kagome.
Kagome relaxed at his warmth and gave him a weak smile.
"Please, find my family and friend, Sango. They are somewhere in the forest" Kagome whimpered and fainted in the arms of her saviour. Sesshoumaru looked at her pale face.
"Jyunchi" Sesshoumaru's companions gathered behind Sesshoumaru, waiting orders.
Sesshoumaru turned around to survey his friends.
"You are undamaged, look for her family and this female named Sango" Sesshoumaru stroll pass them and to where the carriage was stationed. Jyunchi knew better than to disobey his friend now, and nodded, through all the blood he did detect a female scent with a young boy.
"Miroku, Kouga, come with me, Sesshoumaru will need some time alone with her" Jyunchi bid, Miroku nodded and Kouga gave off an annoyed frown, but followed the orders.
Sesshoumaru walked towards the carriage and stepped in. He sat on the chair and placed Kagome in his lap.
"Kagome" he gently shook her. "Hmm?" Kagome woke up to her saviour's elegant face.
"Sesshoumaru-sama, please don't take me back to the brothel (cough cough) I don't want to return, please I beg of you" tears began to pour down her eyes.
"Quiet, Kagome. This Sesshoumaru will not let you go, you will remain by my side, forever" came his soft promise. Kagome gave him a weak smile and nodded. "Rest, you've lost a lot of blood" Sesshoumaru hovered over her and kissed her gently on her lips.
"Sleep, my Kagome" Sesshoumaru closed his eyes and rested against the carriage's wall waiting his companions return.
