Chapter Five.

The next morning, I was awakened by the servant Takami, who was assigned to me by Lord Inu no Taisho. All I wanted to do was roll over and go back to sleep, but her voice rang out through my sleepy daze stating something about getting trained. I sat up and accepted the glass of water before hurrying towards the bathroom to do my duties. When I came out of the room, Takami had my clothes that I was to wear during my training sessions with the female captain. I wondered what my life was going to be like now that I am living here and being my own person, even though I was lying to them about where I came from, how would they accept the truth that I came from the future and they�re just characters on an Anime show? I needed to remain silent about it and just hope for the best.
I headed out of my chambers after I dressed and had a quick bite to eat. I knew by the first few steps that my left ankle that I had sprained was no longer bothering me, maybe it was a side effect of being an Inu-Yokai, I wasn�t sure but I was not going to let that bother me today, I have a very long day in store for me.
It was not long before I was standing with the rest of the female warriors. I wanted nothing more than to hide with how I looked but to do so would shame Lady Kannon as she suggested that I do this. I stood up straighter and I promised myself that I would not shame anyone and do my very best.
Sakuko looked at the females that lined up. She gave them no smiles as she spoke, �We will meet here each morning till I say you are ready to be assigned your duties to your Lord and Lady.�
Natsuko listened to what Sakuko was saying. All she could hope for is that the training would be easy on her but in a way she knew it would not be so easy. Training could be much more difficult than she even thought.
Sakuko watched Natsuko�s reaction to her words and found that the young bitch was scared and worried about what the training could be like. She smiled as she ordered everyone to head for the training center that was ten miles away from the castle. She knew that with Natsuko�s heavier body, she would not be there first but last.
By the time everyone got to the training center, Natsuko was not the only one who was last; another trainee was last. Sakuko didn�t let that bother her as she started to make everyone work hard at training till the sun was high above them when she allowed everyone to have lunch and then she started up on them, this time using the pikes as weapons. She was impressed with how good Natsuko was with the pikes but her endurance was not very good as she was able to jab the dummy for a few moments before she could do no more. But she made sure that her short effort would be fatal to whoever she went after with it by a swift jab to the chest.
At the end of the day, Natsuko�s endurance was up but so were most of the bitches who were training along with her. Sakuko looked at them all as they were kneeling on the ground, she shook her head. She knew it was to be expected of them to be this tired at the end of the day as she did work them hard. �You will be returning here tomorrow morning for more training for the next twenty years!�
Natsuko raised her head up fast. �Twenty years, I�d be a sixty year old at that time! I wouldn�t be able to do what they�re expecting from me then.�
They all headed back to the castle, Natsuko was deep in thought when she glanced up to see that everyone was gone from the courtyard of the soldiers. She headed off to her chambers, mentally and physically exhausted. She got to her chambers and went to the bathroom to find a nice warm bath waiting for her. She climbed in after removing her robes and started to soak in the tub before she started to wash herself clean before she headed off to bed.

�My Lady, I bring you the report of the bitches that I trained today.� Sakuko said, as she bowed to Lady Kannon.
�How did they do on their first day?� Lady Kannon requested.
�Some did better than others.� Sakuko replied.
�Like who?�
Sakuko started off stating names and then came to Natsuko�s name. Lady Kannon leaned forth interested. �How did she do?�
�Well, her endurance will need improvement but her skill with the pikes is remarkable. If I was not a trained soldier, I think she had trained using the pike before as she managed to stab the dummy we use within a matter of moments with fatal strikes. She looks weak but she�s lethal with the pike.� Sakuko said.
She leaned forth, her hands on her face as her elbows were on her desk. �Interesting, do you think she trained with the pike or did it after you showed them how it is done?�
�I did show them how to use the pike against the dummy but out of everyone, she did the fatal wound to the dummy.� Sakuko stated. �She may be someone I would like on my team.�
�Well, give her some time to get endurance as she may have a proper place better than being a soldier.� Lady Kannon said. �I could use someone like her as a bodyguard. Yes, that�s what I�ll do. Now to wait till she gets stronger in strength before I make my pick.�
