"Feh, what are you doing out here so late little girl?" a gruff voice startled Kagome. She gasped and pressed herself against the brick wall of the building next to her, clutching her chest. The man stepped out of the shadows, his hair a fine silver and fell past his ass. He had two ears perched on the top of his head, and his grin bared his fangs. Her eyes widened, and fear struck her.

"I'm on my way home," she lied.

"Keh," he snorted."That's a damn lie I can smell it, go home little girl. Not everyone is as nice as I am. I could've fucking killed your skinny ass." he waved her off, and passed her by.

She bit her bottom lip as she watched the stranger go. She moved herself from the wall and continued walking. She picked up her pace, not wanting to fall into someone much worse than he was. All the smells caused her head to throb in pain. She was not used to the outside world, the stench was unbearable.

But reality hit as she came to what was truly making the horrid aroma. She covered out mouth and coughed, turning her attention away from the rotting corpse."Oh my God." she whimpered.
