Words: 300 I don't own anything Inuyasha, or anything to do with the songs "Too Close For Comfort" and "A Kiss To Build A Dream On." ~~~ “Be wise, be smart. Behave, my heart.” Three nights ago Sesshoumaru left before he could face Kagome to figure out their relationship. However, his instincts screamed to be near her again, to have her against him. Unacceptable. He had to leave her. It was becoming too much; they shouldn’t have progressed this far. He would make it gentle, but it physically ached knowing he was going to hurt her heart. “Be soft, be sweet, but be discreet.” But when Kagome was standing before him outside her apartment he couldn’t remember why he needed to. “Don’t go off your beat.” He wanted to pull her close and quell the tears her brilliant eyes held at their silence. “She’s so close for comfort.” So he did. Sesshoumaru had never lost a battle so easily before. “Too close for comfort. Please, not again.” Kagome lifted her face as he held on tight to push her lips against his. An electric warmth enveloped his body and Sesshoumaru knew with Kagome it was never enough. “Too close to know just when to say ‘when’.” Suddenly, she was in his arms without breaking the kiss. Uncaring about witnesses he rushed to her room before she needed to breathe again. Their clothes were quickly disappearing as they attacked each other with desperate lips, tongues and hands. “Be firm. Be fair. Be sure. Beware…” He was on top of her with smooth legs wrapped around his hips once again. “One thing leads to another.” His heart beat erratically as he brushed the hair off her face to kiss her cheek. “Too late to run for cover.” Then her arms wrapped around his neck and he inhaled the scent of her happiness and anxiousness as he pushed inside her hot, tight core. “She’s much too close for comfort now.” ~~~ Lyrics are Italicized, Quoted, and originally from "Too Close For Comfort" by Jerry Bock, George David Weiss, and Larry Holofcener.- You need to be logged in to leave a review for this story.You need to be logged in to leave a review for this story.
