The Second day

Rin woke the next morning to see a servant coming into her chambers, bringing breakfast.
"Oh! You didn't have to--" Rin started, but the servant interrupted her.
"It is Lord Sesshomaru's orders, Lady Rin."
"...Oh. Thank you." Rin said. 'Lady Rin?' She thought to herself. 'Why would she call me that? I am just a ward to Lord Sesshomaru.'
At that moment, Sesshomaru chose to come in. He came to stand by her bed. "I trust your sleep went well."
'Ah, yes Lord Sesshomaru."
"I see. I will go back, then. I have a War council meeting in a few minutes." He left the room after he handed her a note, and then she opened it and read it when he had gone.
'Meet me in the Courtyard in two hours.

She rushed to get a bath, and then a servant helped her get dressed in her most beautiful kimono, even applying a bit of makeup. The kimono she wore was a light, spring time green, with golden crescent moons on it, and the under kimono was a bright, royal blue. Her hair was left down, and she had a golden necklace with a golden crescent moon placed around her throat. She looked wonderful.
By the time they finished, it had been two hours. A servant escorted her to the courtyard, and she went and sat on a stone bench in the stone courtyard, that was sitting underneath a large, blooming cherry blossom tree.
She sat there for several minutes. and she jumped when she felt a hand on her shoulder.
She turned, and saw him; He was wearing a bright royal blue kimono, with a light, spring green under kimono, and the blue kimono had golden dog demons emblazoned on it. It was a magnificent kimono, and the color brought out the color of his crescent moon marking, and it made his eyes look even more golden. He had his hair in a small, high pony tail in the back, with hair coming from under it like a waterfall of snow.
He was perfect.
He saw her eyeing him. and he sat down beside her. "I need to discuss last night with you, Rin."
She felt her heart quicken, and her face blushed. She looked into his eyes, and he sighed lightly.
"Rin, I have known your feelings for me since a few days ago, when you came back with me...well, I suppose that is not completely and entirely accurate. I suppose I have always known, and simply denied that fact. However, I will finally acknowledge your feelings. But I will not be with a human, Rin. You know this. I simply wanted you to know that I do know your feelings, and I will not force you to stop feeling that way. I will not have you leave. I will not force you away. But I will not act on your behalf, on your feelings. Just know that." He stood and turned to walk away. "You look ravishing, Rin."
"Wait, Lord Sesshomaru!" She stopped him before he flew off, and he looked over his shoulder at her. She worked up her courage. "Would you.....would you....mate with this lowly human? Not take me as your mate, but to...."
"To have intercourse with you." He filled in, and she nodded. He thought about it. "....I am not repulsed by the idea. I will think on it." Before anything else could be said, he flew away, and she made her way back to her room, sighing and falling onto her bed, going into a deep sleep.
