It was inevitable that she should suffer this first night. Mortals and demons were vastly different. It was rare that a demon take on a form so similar to one in shape and form. But some things would always be different.
He risked much in taking her, and in hindsight it was very foolish. It was not normal for him to act so illogically. He could have seriously injured her. No, it would have far more sensible to prepare her; to spend several days stretching her and acclimating her to his size.
Stranger still was his perverse satisfaction in preying upon her fear. Never before had he behaved in such a shameful and unseemly manner.
He found her tears oddly arousing. But was it really that odd? He was a demon, after all, and inflicting pain upon others always pleased him. But only under certain circumstances--such as when he once sought to provoke Inuyasha.
