The rest of their morning practice is uneventful . . .
*******************************
At lunch, though . . .
“Gilligan?” Kagome asks.
“Yes?”
“I was wondering, if you could help me?” she asks, “there are
some ceremonies I wish to try, and I need someone’s help doing
them.”
“Of course.” He replies.
“Good. Meet me by the cave right after lunch!” Kagome cries as
Sesshomaru starts to drag her away.
He growls, “what are you doing?”
“I’m going to try and do a ceremony to control, perhaps, his bad
luck. Or do you want to wear more food?” she asks.
Sesshomaru nods. “Very well. See what you can do. But, my guess
is you’re not going to be lucky.”
“Hmmm.” Kagome’s eyes narrow. “What to bet? If I succeed and you
don’t get food splashed on you?”
He purses his lips, “IF you succeed. Then. Hmmm.” He nods. “Then
you may, in private, for one night, call me ‘toto’.”
Kagome smiles, “and if I fail? You want me to be ‘Dorothy’
again?”
He nods.
Kagome purses her lips, ‘Now . . . which is better? I’ll have to
think about that.’ She thinks. ‘Yes, I have thought about
treating him like that, so . . . ’
Later . . .
“Ok, Gilligan, you can clean up, now.” Kagome hides a smile, “I’m
finished.”
“Thanks! Did I help?” Gilligan asks.
Kagome bows, “yes. You’ve been perfect, Gilligan.”
Kagome mentally sighs, ‘His bad luck and my good luck combined to
changed what I wanted to do. I didn’t solve anything, but, I
didn’t mess up anything either. And. The combination of our two
lucks . . . caused things to go a little nuts and a little goofy
. . . ’ she thinks, suppressing a giggle.
Gilligan walks away . . .
He is only wearing his pants and hat. He is dusted with salt.
Kagome has written various symbols on his chest and back. He
looks like someone has played a very badly drawn game of tic-tac-
toe across his body.
Sesshomaru, whose face has been absolutely still during Kagome’s
‘ceremony’, covers his face with one hand.
Kagome, a secretive smile on her face, whispers, “You had better
be laughing. I’m sure that it didn’t work, but, I, at least,
found a way to get him, without killing him.”
Sesshomaru begins to laugh out loud.
Kagome begins to giggle.
“Tonight.” Sesshomaru gasps as he tries to controls his laughter.
“Tonight . . . I’m ‘toto.’”
“But . . . It didn’t work.” Kagome replies in surprise.
“A reward for making me laugh.”
That afternoon at the professor’s hut . . .
“Those were some interesting symbols that you wrote on Gilligan,
today, Higurashi.” the Professor remarks in a light tone.
Kagome blushes. “Things got out of control . . . ” She coughs.
“I’ll apologize to him at dinner.”
The professor shakes his head, “no need. We’ve all seen the food
episodes and we understand.”
“But, Gilligan . . . I need to.” She starts to say.
“He’s proud of ‘helping’ you, Higurashi. Explaining what happened
would only upset him.”
“Ok. If you say so.” Kagome slowly says. She pauses, then
brightens. “Professor. I do have a camera with me.”
He nods. “I saw it that first night.”
Kagome nods. Sesshomaru growls, softly.
Kagome shushes him and says, “If I show you how to use it, could
you, please, take some pictures of Sesshomaru and me?”
She smiles. ‘I’ve snuck a couple of pictures of him, during this
trip, but I want some pictures of us. And he is the first person
we’ve met that we’ve gotten to know well enough for me to ask for
that favor.’
The professor nods. “Of course. Later, after the lessons?” he
asks.
Kagome nods.
“Pictures?” Sesshomaru whispers in her ear.
“Yes, portraits of us, standing together. Say about half-a-dozen
exposures of us in various poses and you in both shapes.” She
replies. “Including one with me on your neck, with you in your
natural form.”
Sesshomaru slowly nods. “Since the camera and the pictures you’ve
been taking is important to you, very well.”

The next day, at the cave, after lunch . . .
As they are beginning to head to the Professor’s hut for the
afternoon study, Kagome sighs deeply as she picks up her books.
“Love?” Sesshomaru asks. He pauses, then asks, “Is anything
wrong?”
Kagome sighs again. “I don’t know, love.” She pauses, “it’s just
. . . ” she slumps.
Sesshomaru goes to her and enfolds her in his arms, hugging her.
“Something is wrong.” He states.
“Not really.” Kagome replies. “It’s just . . . ”
“What, my dear?” he asks.
“Well . . . ” Kagome shakes her head. “I’ll start at the
beginning, so you’ll understand.”
Sesshomaru nods. His head rubs her head. “Do you wish to sit
down, while you talk?”
Kagome si but but nods.
They sit down against the wall of the cave, with Kagome laying on
top of Sesshomaru, his tail wrapped around them.
“What is the problem?” he asks.
“It’s school, Sesshomaru.” Kagome replies, forcefully. “When this
first started, I thought that my adventures would only take a few
weeks, or at most a few months. So, I made sure that studied
hard, trying not to keep up my grades.”
He nods. His hands finding her hand and he grips them. “Go on.”
She sighs, “then . a. as time passed, my grades keep getting
worse and worse. And my attendance.” She shakes her head. “My
grandfather and my mother have to deal with the school and my
teachers, a lot.”
“But . . . but, school was the excuse I needed to have to get
any breaks from Inu-yasha and his obsession with the jewel, so I
keep using it.” She whispers.
She clears her thought and squeezes his hand. “And, now . . .
everything lately is pushing me to toward living in the past.
Keade wanting me to get more involved with the village, obviously
so I can become the Miko of the village after she dies. My deeper
and deeper commitment to my friends. How can I ever leave
Shippo?”
She turns and kisses Sesshomaru on the cheek. “And you.” She
blushes. “All of that . . . means that I will not be living in
the future.”
He nods. “And you are wondering if you should still learn?”
Kagome nods. “If I’m going to live in the past, I don’t need to
know a lot of the stuff that is in those books.” She waves to her
school books.
Sesshomaru looks at the books and he nods. “Kagome, my love, if I
thought that the knowledge in those books was useless, would I be
studying them with you?”
Kagome blinks and she slowly says, “No. You’d never waste that
much time.”
“Good. My dear, over my years I’ve come to realize that knowledge
is good. People may abuse it or ignore it. However, they wish,
but, knowledge is good.”
He points to the books, “I do understand that much of the
information in those books will not be used on a daily basis,
but, sooner or later, that knowledge will be useful.”
“So, you want me to study? Even though it’ll take up a lot time?”
Kagome asks, “Back home, I still have years before I get out of
school.”
Sesshomaru nods. “Yes. More you know, the better.”
Kagome nods and snuggles up against him. She turns and kisses him
on the lips. “Thank you.”
He whispers, when they break for air, “tonight, we’ll see how
much you’ve learned by love making.”
Kagome purrs. “Why not now?”
Sesshomaru glances at the cave entrance. “I suppose being a few
minutes late wouldn’t hurt . . . ”
later . . . at the professor’s hut . . .
“I am sorry for the delay.” Kagome apologizes as she and
Sesshomaru enter.
“Something came up.” Sesshomaru remarks in an offhand manner as
they sit down next to the desk in the professor’s hu
Th
The professor sniffs, ‘yes, something came up, indeed . . . ’
Later . . . after Kagome and Sesshomaru leave the hut.
Kagome drags Sesshomaru into the forest.
“Yes, my love?” Sesshomaru asks.
Kagome sighs, “Sesshomaru, I’ve tried to flirt with him, like you
asked, but.” She slumps. “I just feel.” She shivers. “It just
feels wrong.”
Sesshomaru hugs her. “I know. I can tell. Your words, even your
body language were saying one thing and your scent was saying
another.”
“I like him. The professor, I mean. He’s smart, and I like that,
but.” Kagome begins to say as she buries her head in Sesshomaru’s
chest. “But. It just feels wrong. I’m just not the type of girl
that flirts with every man she sees.”
Sesshomaru sighs, “then. Don’t try to be someone that you’re not.
And, I’ll try to control my jealousy in different ways.”
“Ok . . . ” Kagome kisses him. “Thank you. I know that working
together we can solve that problem.”
Sesshomaru smiles. “Yes. I’m sure of it.”
*************************************
That evening, at dinner, with the castaways . . .
Ginger, as she has been doing, is almost not wearing a dress
again as she continues to try to seduce Sesshomaru
Ginger, using the excuse, of ‘I’ve dropped my spoon and need to
clean it,’ gets up from the table. On her way to the kitchen,
she, by accident, of course, trips and lands in Sesshomaru’s lap.
This, of course, causes more food to be spilled on him.
And she begins to bubble about “my fault. I’ll clean you up.” As
she does that, her hands begin to feel him up.
Sesshomaru snarls. ‘I’ve had enough.’ He thinks.
He picks her by her neck and throws her away from him. In an ice
cold voice he declares, “you are human. I don’t mate with
humans.”
His eyes flick up and down her body, her breasts popped out of
the dress when she landed. “Your facial features are ugly. Your
hair is the wrong color.”
“Sesshomaru!” Kagome tries to interrupt, but he ignores her.
“Your natural stench is only exceeded by the stench of the
perfume you are wearing.” He finishes in that same freezing
voice.
“She’s human!” Ginger yells back!
“My consort is unique. Her heritage may be human, but that does
not mean that I’ve changed my basic thoughts about humans. Which
is: the only good human is a dead human.”
“Sesshomaru!” Kagome steps in front of him, trying to control
things.
“Kagome.” Sesshomaru looks at her. “I will retire to our cave.”
He flies off.
Kagome spends the rest of the meal apologizing for him.
Later, At the cave . . .
“Sesshomaru?” Kagome asks in a small voice when she enters.
“My apologizes.” Sesshomaru nods his head toward her. “I did not
consider that you’d be embarrassed when I lost my temper.”
Kagome grimaces. “Thank you, lord of the western lands.” She
pauses. “I think that the castaways would like something like
that from you.”
He pauses, thinking. “You may, if you wish, apologize for me.
But, I will not say that myself. She, in my opinion, deserved to
die and they need to apologize and thank this Sesshomaru for his
patience and mercy.”
Kagome nods and sighs. “Thank you for that, my love.”
****************************************
The last day . . .
Kagome calls all the castaways together. Sesshomaru is standing
next her. She bows to them.
They look at each other.
“I wish to thank you for the hospitality and kindness that you
have shown us during this week.” Kagome smiles, “I know, even
with the occasional problem.” Gilligan blushes, remembering all
the miscues he’s had during this week.
“This is a week that I’ll always remember.” Kagome finishes.
“Thank you.” The skipper says.
“Thank you, Skipper. Now, before we leave. There is something
that I want to do.” Kagome says. “And, since, like I requested,
you’re wearing your favorite clothes.” She smiles, “I will help
you.”
“How?” Mary Ann asks.
“Come here, Mary Ann.” Kagome requests. “And I’ll show you.”
Mary Ann shrugs, but approaches Kagome.
Kagome reaches out and grabs Mary Ann’s clothes. She closes her
eyes and concentrates.
Mary Ann feels something. Her hair stands on end. Something, like
a spark of electricity flashes through her. She blinks and looks
at her clothes. They look brand new, not the through worn.
“Kagome?” She whispers.
Kagome smiles, “I’ve fixed your clothes, Mary Ann. You’ll never
need to clean them and they can even make minor repairs.” Her
smile fades a bit, “You just don’t have the mystic power to allow
them to do more.”
“You mean that?” Mary Ann asks in surprise.
Kagome nods. “Yes.” She points to her clothes as they change from
her school clothes to a white robe.
“You, none of you, have the magical power to w thw them to change
like Sesshomaru and I do. But, as long as you wear them on a
regular basis, they’ll clean themselves.” Kagome explains. “The
can tap your natural life force and use a small part of that to
clean themselves.”
“And your going to do that to everyone’s clothes?” Ginger asks in
surprise.
“Well, not every piece of cloth, just what your wearing now.”
Kagome replies. “But, yes, I will. This,” She tapes Mary Ann’s
clothes, “is a thank you for this week.”
Kagome smiles as the castaways crowd around her, wanting her to
fix their clothes.
After she finishes, Kagome pulls out a piece of paper. “Gilligan,
would you please accept this.”
Gilligan reaches out and grabs the paper. His hat flies off. His
clothes twist. His body twitches. “WWHHHHAAAATT!?” he moans.
He falls to the ground unconscious . . .
“Kagome!” everyone yells at her and crowd around her.
She waves them off as she explains, “The scroll I gave him
cancelled out his bad luck.”
The castaways look at each other.
“He’ll wake up in a little awhile.” She looks hard at him. “And.
Maybe for a week, or two his bad luck will be small enough that
you might have some good luck the next time that someone visits.”
“And get off this island?” Lovowelowell asks.
Kagome shrugs. “Maybe. I tried to seal his bad luck. I can see it
eating through the seal, so he’ll recover soon, but, until then.”
She shrugs again.
“I always knew he was bad luck.” Ginger whispers to Mary Ann.
“Sure . . . ” Mary Ann whispers back.
*************************************
At the cave . . .
Kagome and Sesshomaru are standing outside at the cave. It is
midafternoon.
They are dressed in their traditional clothes. Kagome is wearing
her sword. Sesshomaru is wearing his swords. Sling on his back is
their sleeping bag, which has been turned into a backpack. The
barrels of the submachine guns stick out of the sleeping bag.
“Are you sure that you don’t want to carry those guns?”
Sesshomaru asks.
Kagome nods. “Yes. I can think of too many places were showing up
armed like that will cause problems. The swords are bad enough.
There is no need to add in guns.”
Sesshomaru slowly nods, he grimaces, “we don’t have a lot of
ammunition for them, as well.”
“And with your speed, we can get them out and ready at a moment
notice.”
He nods. “Are you ready?”
Kagome nods. “Yes. But.”
She reaches out and hugs and kisses him. “Thank you for a
wonderful honeymoon.” She whispers.
He hugs and kisses her. “My love, I need to thank you for a
wonderful time.”
They break the hug. Kagome sighs, “As much as want to rip your
clothes off and make love, we do need to get going.”
He nods. “And we will find our way home.”
He pulls out the cube. He shakes his head. “It’s just too bad
that Gilligan almost got this.”
Kagome nods. “Yes, he changed the setting, so we have no idea
where we are going.”
“Is that why you gave him that scroll?” Sesshomaru asks with a
chuckle in his voice.
Kagome blushes. “I’m not saying.”
“Let’s go.”
Sesshomaru reaches out with the cube. Kagome touches it.
They vanish . . .
End chapter 53

preview: the next world . . .
Kagome’s first impression is trees . . .
They appeared with meters off a huge tree. It makes the god tree
back home seem small.
Kagome and Sesshomaru slowly back away, and look up. “It must be
hundreds of meters talk.” Kagome whispers in an awed tone. “Like
the redwoods in California . . . beautiful . . . ”
Sesshomaru, while his mate is entranced by the forest of huge
trees, turns around and looks for trouble.
He frowns. ‘That doesn’t look right.’ He thinks.
He taps Kagome on her shoulder and points. “Do you have any idea
what that is?”
Kagome turns around and stares . . .
“A death star . . . ”
Hanging above them in the sky is a partially completed Death Star
. . .
“We’re on Endor.” Kagome whispers.

Chapter 54: Inu-yasha where are you part 3 Kikyo . . .
“Kikyo, you must help us find Kagome!”
“Why?”

Authors’ note; after Thursday apr 29, I will take a break from
Kagome! Where are you!?. I go into more detail about my future
schedule on Thurs.
Authors’ note: Fanfiction net has altered how they handle e-mail
addresses. I normally try to email reviewers thanking them. But,
the alterations that fanfiction.net has made, will make that more
difficult and time consuming. I will still try to answer
reviewers. I am sorry, but, some reviewers may not get a ‘thank
you’ note.
Authors’ note: Hmmm . . . how to say this . . . Ok. First: I do
want to thank everyone that does review, but.
The last few chapters, I’ve noticed a drop in the number of
reviews. And I’m wondering . . . what have I done wrong?
Yes, I knew that once kag & sess mated. The sexual tension would
decrease. And Yes, I know that I’ve made this section probably
longer than it should. (However the conversations that happened
needed to happen, and if I spaced them out of several worlds that
would have made it even longer, as I would have had to introduce
and setup those worlds, so, I tried to do it in as few words as
possible . . . ) But, still . . . I wonder . . .
Authors’ note: I’ve had reviewers ask about the future plans for
this story. “When will they return home?” “How many worlds are
left?” etc.
So, I’ve set up a separate web-page with a short outline for my
future plans on it.
Remove the spaces for the link.
